PLOT
Dru had always been torn between two worlds. One belonged to his home planet, motherland to a species that was naturally powerful, but didn't join the order. The other belonged to the Jedi Order, a powerful group that promised to strengthen his abilities. After training with them from a young age, Dru finally realized he was unable to live with their codes, which were far different than the traditions of his people. He had no choice but to leave the Jedi Order before finishing his Padawan training. Despite his departure, Dru couldn't fully sever ties with his past.
More specifically, the memories of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Years later, their paths crossed again. It was as if a power outside of their control was making them meet repeatedly across the galaxy. Dru, now an independent and skilled operative, took a peculiar interest in Obi-Wan's missions. He was no longer a Padawan, but a man who delights in challenging the very principles he once followed. Dru never got in the way of Obi-Wan's tasks, but he didn't make it easy for him either. He was simply there to test his resolve and question his choices. He served as a mirror, reflecting Obi-Wan's past and present decisions. In a way, he was forcing the Jedi to confront the grey areas.
Areas he often tried to avoid.
Both were unaware of the tension their constant encounters created.Β While their conversations were often abrupt and their encounters filled with friction, an unspoken respect and affection remained. Dru represented the path Obi-Wan never chose. A life full of freedom and independence outside the Jedi's strict rules. For Dru, Obi-Wan was a reminder of the disciplined life he left behind and the potential he overlooked.
But which path was the better option?
OR
In which Obi-Wan Kenobi is
haunted by the images of the boy
who had left the order.

NOTES
β» Dru has an unspoken affection and respect for Obi-Wan. Their relationship will be slowburn, mainly because of the Jedi Code. They will start as friends, then become rivals. After that, it is up to you to decide when their relationship starts.
β» Dru is charismatic, but mischievous. He delights in challenging the principles he once followed.
β»Β The story explores the conflict between two opposing ideals: the disciplined and ordered life of the Jedi, and the free and independent life of a powerful outsider.
β» Dru helps Obi-Wan find Kamino in Attack of the Clones. I imagine them running into each other at the diner, but their meeting is completely up to you.Β
β» Even though they don't formally meet until the end of Attack of the Clones, Dru and Anakin have a mutual respect.
β» There have been times when Dru was tempted by the dark side of the Force. The only thing that kept him from giving in was his memories of Obi-Wan.
