PLOT

Sophie Quinn grew up in New York City with her father, stepmother, and younger sister, Gracie. She got along very well with everyone in her family, especially Gracie. The sisters were as close as they could be and spent as much time as they could with each other. Her parents made sure both of their daughters had everything she needed to be successful, which helped Sophie get an early acceptance into MIT. She graduated at the top of her class and received a job at Stark Industries not long after. She was very happy with her life, but one thing was always missing.

And that was her birth mother.

Sophie always asked about her, but her father never gave her any information. The only thing she knew was that her mother left her on her father's doorstep when she was a newborn. He hadn't seen her since then. After years of asking about her, Sophie finally gave up hope of getting any information. But it didn't bother her as much as she would've thought. She had a very successful life after all, she didn't need someone in her life that didn't want her around. Little did Sophie know that knowing about her mother would've helped in the years to come.

Especially when a certain Asgardian came to New York.

It all happened one night at Sophie's apartment. She was waiting for her sister to arrive for their weekly movie night. Sophie was cooking their dinner in the kitchen when there was a knock at her front door. She thought it was strange for Gracie to knock, especially since she had a key to the apartment. Sophie was cautious as she approached her front door and looked through the peephole. Chills ran throughout her entire body when she saw two men standing on the other side. She didn't know whether it was the man's unusually blue eyes or his friend's smirk that made her feel uneasy, but she knew she wanted nothing to do with them. But she didn't have much of a choice with they broke down her front door.

The God of Mischief had finally found the Daughter of Time.

NOTES

▻ Sophie and Loki's relationship will definitely be slowburn/enemies-to-lovers. She finds him very annoying at first and she's slightly fearful of him. But she soon sees more to him than he'd like her to. Loki becomes very protective over Sophie and does everything in his power to keep her safe.

▻ Sophie is the daughter of Skuld, the Norn of the Future. The Norns are Norse deities. This gives her the ability to predict the future and freeze someone in time for a short amount of time. She can also travel to and from the TVA whenever she pleases, but she doesn't know she can do that until the Loki series. (I can change this if you want it to be a different god.)

▻ Loki forces Sophie to start using her abilities. She loses control a few times and is constantly stopping people in time. It isn't until the end of Avengers that she finally gains control of them.

▻  Sophie doesn't know she's half-god until Loki helps her unlock that side of her.

▻ Sophie and Clint become really close while Clint is under Loki's control. This starts because Loki assigns him to protect her and make sure she doesn't leave. Their friendship continues after the Battle of New York.

▻ Sophie and Thor get along but aren't super close until Ragnarok.

▻ Sophie and Gracie are half-sisters, so Gracie isn't related to Skuld. They have a very strong sister relationship. I can see her becoming an important part of the series.

▻  Additional Cast: Bailee Madison as Gracie Quinn, Ewan McGregor as Trevor Quinn, Lana Parrilla as Olivia Quinn, Virginia Kull as Skuld, Jessica Parker Kennedy as Verdandi, and Ming-Na Wen as Urd (All faceclaims except for Gracie can be changed, but the characters must be included at some point in the series.)
