"𝐇𝐄𝐘," Celia smiled as Ayla pulled up in front of the vets clinic. She studied Ayla's outfit, "you aren't wearing your jacket?"
Ayla sighed as she handed Celia a helmet, "No, an idiot I know bumped into me and spilled punch all over it. It's ruined."
"Oh, shame." Celia frowned, "you love that jacket."
"I know!"
"Thanks for picking me up, by the way. My car literally broke down and dad said he needed to look after one of the animals immediately, so he brought me here." Celia rolled her eyes as she got on behind Ayla.
"It's all good."
When they got to school, Celia and Ayla parted ways as they went to their lockers. Ayla opened hers and a wrapped package fell out. Frowning, she looked around but saw nothing out of the ordinary. She tore the paper open and couldn't help the corners of her lips lifting.
A new leather jacket.
Ayla took off one of her old flannels and shrugged the jacket on. It was her size and in pristine condition. Ayla was joking when she said Stiles must buy her one, leather jackets are quite expensive. She closed her locker and went to her class.
A couple hours later, Ayla and Celia were trying not to look suspicious as they listened intently to the police men behind them. Ayla had to turn her back so they wouldn't recognise her, since Noah was right there and the other probably knew what she looked like considering she hung around the station a lot.
The girl frowned when she caught sight of Stiles and Scott peeking out behind the wall. Scott looked like he was listening intently to someone, but Stiles wasn't speaking. Shaking her head, she focused back on what they were saying.
"We want everyone under the age of 18 to be in their home by 9:30pm." This made Celia's mouth drop and Ayla frown. "We'd like to institute a curfew effective immediately." Celia shook her head, sighing and leaning against the window.
"Screw the police and screw this goddamn curfew." Celia groaned, dragging out the word curfew.
"My uncle's a policeman." Ayla raised her eyebrows, smiling.
"My uncle's a policeman." Celia mocked and Ayla smacked her arm gently. "Let's go night walking or some shit."
"Look at you! Breaking the rules." Ayla said as they walked down the corridor.
"I don't like being told what to do, that's all." She shrugged, tucking a curl behind her ear.

"Why, why, why?" Celia complained as they trudged through the forest.
"You said, let's go night walking, not me!" Ayla raised her hands in surrender when Celia glared at her. She was jumping at the slightest sounds and kept complaining about the mosquitos.
When they came to a clearing, they saw a giant, wooden, rundown house and Stiles' jeep. Of course.
"What the hell?" Ayla muttered as she grabbed Celia's forearm, dragging her forward. They ducked behind the blue jeep and saw the two boys digging through the dirt. Ayla sighed, standing up and bringing Celia with her. Narrowly missing the dirt being flung, Ayla yelled, "Hey!"
The boys yelled, jumping and turned around. "What the hell?!" Stiles cried as Celia clung onto Ayla's arm. "What're you doing here?" He demanded.
"What am I doing here? What are you doing here?" She asked as Celia waved tentatively at Scott who slowly waved back. "Why are you digging through the dirt?"
"Please don't tell me you're burying a body!" Celia whined.
"No, we're looking for a-" Scott got cut off by Stiles slapping his arm.
"Seriously?" He asked his friend as the two girls watched. "Whatever. If you wanna go, go. If you wanna help, grab a shovel."
"Oh, please can we go?" Celia asked, wrapping her coat around her. "I'm freezing."
Ayla untied her jumper from around her waist and threw it at their friend's face. She bent down to grab a shovel and started digging. The two boys looked at each other, shocked and confused. Ayla grunted, "I hope I'm not doing all the work." The boys sprung into action, digging as Celia stood holding the torch. "So, we're looking for the body?" She asked.
"No, we're looking for the body." Stiles gestured at himself and Scott. "You're just digging."
Scott panted, "but she was with us before I got- I mean, um." He thought for a moment. "She was with us while we were looking the other night." Stiles mumbled something sarcastic under his breath as Ayla agreed and thanked Scott.
After Ayla got tired, she stood next to Celia and watched the boys doing all the dirty work. "This is taking way too long." Scott said.
"Just keep going." Stiles replied.
"What if he comes back?" Scott fretted.
"Then we get the hell out of here." Stiles said.
"What if who comes back?" Celia asked, looking around with the torch. "Oh my god! This is the Hale's house! Why are we here?! I thought the Hale's died!"
Stiles sighed, "light, please." Celia apologised and shined the flashlight back onto the hole.
"No, didn't, like, two of them survive?" Ayla frowned.
"What if he catches us?" Scott pressed, ignoring the girls.
Stiles sighed, "I have a plan for that."
"Which is?" Ayla asked, leaning on her shovel, hand on her hip.
"We all run different directions." He shrugged and she scoffed. "Whoever he catches first, too bad."
"That's a horrible plan." Celia said.
"I hate that plan." Scott shook his head.
"Yeah, what if this mystery Hale man catches one of us?" Ayla asked, pointing between her and Celia.
"Too bad." Stiles said as his shovel hit something hard. "Stop, stop, stop!" He said to Scott as the girls moved forward. The boys leant down and started digging with their hands.
Ayla mumbled, "wow, they're like dogs, just more annoying." Scott paused at this but continued digging. They grabbed a piece of rope, holding what could only be a body bag together.
"Hurry!" Scott said.
"I'm trying. Did he have to tie the thing in like 900 knots?" Stiles scoffed. He looked back up at the girls, standing there watching, "wanna help?"
Ayla sighed and jumped into the hole as Scott said, "I'll do it." Scott and Ayla helped untied the rope Celia watched, her being the light source, including the jeep's headlights.
They unwrapped the bag and jumped back when they saw a wolf head. Not a girl, a wolf. Celia screamed, stepping back as they all yelled.
"What the hell is that?!" Stiles demanded.
"It's a wolf!" Ayla yelled, freaked out.
"Yeah, I can see that." Stiles said, panting. "I thought you said you smelled blood." He turned to Scott. "As in human blood."
"He what?!" Celia asked and the boys looked at each other, eyes wide. Scott hit Stiles over the head and sighed.
"I have a... really good sense of smell." He nodded, unconvincingly.
"Yeah, okay." Ayla scoffed. She'll have to question him later.
"I told you something was different." Scott said, eyes flitting from Stiles and to the girls.
"This doesn't make sense." Stiles shook his head.
"How do you think we feel?" Celia rolled her eyes, very much freaked out by the wolf.
"We gotta get out of here." Ayla said, getting up and moving to grab Celia.
"Hey, hey, hey! You helped us dig, now you have to help us bury!" Stiles said, as if he couldn't believe them. "Then you can go."
Ayala tried, "Stilinski-"
"Nuh-uh!" He shook his head and the girls groaned. Ayla handed Celia the shovel as she helped the boys recover the wolf. Stiles stopped and stared at something.
"Stilinski, you gonna-" Ayla cut herself off as she also looked at the purple flower.
"What's wrong?" Celia and Scott asked.
Stiles pointed, "you see that flower?" They all looked at the small flower.
"What about it?"
"I think it's wolfsbane." Stiles said, staring intently at it.
"As in the potion from Harry Potter?" Celia asked, frowning, just wanting to get out of the woods.
"No, the plant." Ayla replied.
"What's that?" Scott asked.
"Haven't you ever seen The Wolf Man?" Stiles sighed. Scott shook his head. Stiles looked at Celia, who also shook her head. "Lon Chaney Jr.? Claude Rains?" He tried, looking at Ayla. She shrugged. "The original classic werewolf movie? How do you know what wolfsbane is if you never watched it?"
Ayla sighed, "I did an English paper on werewolves." She frowned as the boys stared at her. "What? Don't you remember? In middle school we had to pick a fictional- never mind." She shook her head.
"What's wolfsbane?" Celia demanded, Scott agreeing.
Stiles shook his head, "you are so unprepared for this."
"For what?" Ayla asked.
He ignored her question, going up to the plant, tugging it out of the ground. It connected to a rope and the boy followed it, brining the rope with it. "Oh my god, what if the guy is like... part of a cult or something?" Celia panicked. "Guys?"
The rope wrapped around the hole in a spiral. Ayla and Scott jumped up as they looked at it. Why was the wolf now a girl. A girl that was fucking staring at them. Celia came and had a look, jumping at the sight and grabbing onto Ayla. "Stiles." Scott whispered loudly.
He came and stood next to them, also jumping when he saw the young woman. "Oh!"
"So, it's a girl now..." Ayla nodded, eyes wide. "What the fuck."

This bitch confused about who's who in the zoo. Hale? Derek? Two separate people. Nuh UH
ALso The book seems rushed because... well it kinda is??? In a way??? Ayla and stiles aren't really friends (as you can probably tell) YET, so they won't be adventuring a lot. There'll be a lot of coincidences in the season one future
Fun Fact: Ayla is 5'8 and her personality type is ESFP-A
