CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: JOIN (PART TWO)

Dianne's POV

"Seriously bessy? Is this really a secret headquarters? It looks like a five-star hotel!"

Bati ko nung nakapasok kami sa isang malaking establishimento na sinasabing secret headquarters ni Ivy. From the golden hallway that is full of glowing chandeliers and expensive statues and furnitures and the diamond-look a like flooring, napakayaman talaga ng nagpagawa nito. Security guards are everywhere. Kahit saan ako tumingin, meron nakatayo at nagbabantay na gwardiya. This is really a headquarters then. 

We entered an elevator and Ivy pushed the button of the highest floor, the 30th.

Hindi naman ako nainform na sa lagay nitong building na toh ay 'secret' pa ang tawag dito. This building must be known by so many people! Sa ganda ng interior and exterior designs, sa malamang marami na ring tao ang nabighani sa ganda nito.

I remained silent as Ivy is using her phone throughout the whole ride inside the elevator. I waited for almost two more minutes when the elevator dinged and the door automatically opened.

Nilibot ko ang tingin ko. This is totally unbelievable. Diamonds are everywhere, in figurines, chandeliers, flooring designs, sa kisame, pader...jusko. 

I felt like drooling while staring at my surroundings.

"Hey, follow me." 

Bumalik ang diwa ko sakin nung tawagin ako ni Ivy. Naglakad kami sa isang empty hall and a large door was waiting for us. Ivy placed her left hand on a sensor and the large wooden door automatically opened for us. Ivy opened the lights inside the room and it brightens everything inside.

Ayoko. Masyado na akong namamangha sa lugar na toh. Gold, diamonds...ano pa bang klaseng kayamanan ang makikita ko dito? Iron, bronze, silver, copper, hydrogen, manganese, lithium---sorry, periodic table na pala yun. 

She mentioned me to sit in one of her couches at binuksan nya ang isang malaking curved flat TV in front of me. I was just watching in the Nickelodeon station at si Ivy naman ay may ginagawa sa kanyang computer. Minutes later, may tatlong babaeng pumasok sa loob ng silid. They're wearing casual suits and from their looks, alam mong mayayaman rin sila.

Ivy is the first one to speak as the eyes of the three girls were stuck on me.

"You're late. Anong sabi ko? Di'ba 1:15? You're 53 seconds late!"

"Si Joy kasi eh. Ang bagal mag-ayos. Then etong si Denise, hinintay pang mafull charge yung phone nya." 

Paliwanag ng isang babaeng blonde ang buhok. She has a very well refined curves. She is wearing jeans and a simple shirt but she paired it with high killer boots.

"Ivy. who's this?" 

Deretsuhang tanong nung babaeng matiim at nakalugay ang buhok. She's wearing palda with a crop top shirt and pair of addidas. Feeling ko, they all have a good taste in fashion. 

Back to the topic, they are all waiting for Ivy's reply. I looked at her at inintay ko rin ang kanyang sagot when she just nodded to me, gesturing that I should be the one to introduce myself. I sighed as I planted a sweet smile on my face at tinignan ang mga bagong dating.

"H-Hi...I-I'm Dianne. Gianna--I mean, Ivy's old friend way back the years. Nice me---"

"Hi! I'm Joy! Nice meeting you too." 

The girl with a cute and jolly face immediately run to me and hugged me tight. Her hair is in a two-side bun and she's wearing a normal jeans with a t-shirt but she paired her suit with high stilettos. I liked her charm. Masyado syang mabait and welcoming ang kanyang aura. I hugged her back at tsaka nakipagshake-hands.

Tumabi naman sakin si Blonde Girl tsaka nagpakilala. 

"Hi. I'm Alice." Saad nya tapos nginitian ako. Syempre nginitian ko rin sya pabalik at nagshake-hands kaming dalawa.

The last girl remained smiling na parang sinusuri ako. "Denise here." 

Simpleng pakilala nya. Nagbow lang ako meaning na nakikipagkilala rin ako. Denise looked like...maldita. Hindi naman sa pangungumpara pero hindi kasi masyadong welcoming yung aura nya. She looked mysteriously beautiful.

"Btw Ivy, bakit mo kami pinapunta dito?"

"We'll have a training."

Napawaang ang labi ko. Training?! For real?! Whoa. Ngayon lang ako makakapanuod ng live action!

"But, can we tour Dianne inside the building?"

"You better do it, Joy. Isasama na natin sya ngayon sa Black Dragons. Mas magagapi ng maaga ang mga Salvador through her. Bilisan nyo ang paglilibot, at exactly 2:30, I want you two here. Itetrain nyo ng maigi si Dianne."

Napangiti ako. Ang pagtanggap nila sakin ay parang pagpapabagsak ko sa mga Salvador. They really need to learn a lesson. Yung tatak sa buhay nila.

Joy stood up ay inayos ang kanyang damit. She's so angelic. From her looks, down to her body and to her poise. She really looked...harmless. I bet many boys are rummaging for her love. Same as the rest of the group, lahat sila...magaganda. I just can't consider myself to be one of them. I didn't look any special. I'm just...pretty. Just that. No more.

Joy cleared her throat nung mapansing nakatitig ako sa kanya. She held my hand and help me to stand up.

"C'mon. We got so many rooms for you to check."

"This is the bar. Secret bar for the five of us. We got all the kinds of beer you've ever think of. Nandito talaga lahat, as in. Madalas kaming naghahang-out dito after every fight."

Paliwanag ni Joy nung nakarating kami sa 25th floor.

"The next two floors, the 26th and the 27th, dito lahat nakastore ang fighting weapons natin. From guns to swords and to bombs. Nandito talaga lahat."

"The 28th floor is were out trophies were stuck. It counted for almost 200 and more. The biggest trophy that we got is nung natalo namin yung biggest gang worldwide last 2016. Meaning, last year lang nangyari yun. Sinabi na ba ni Ivy na wala pang nakakatalo samin?"

Umiling ako.

"No one can defeat us because our details were all private. Hanapin mo man sa Google or any searching apps, walang lalabas na Black Dragons. No backgrounds. No details. You can search our names, yes, dahil obviously na we belong to one of the biggest mafia and business family worldwide and in the underground. And since you're the new member, I can still call you a newbie. Wala ka pa halos alam sa mundong pinasok mo ngayon..."

She trailed off before she smiled.

"But don't worry Dianne. We can teach you everything you need to learn. Alam ko naman na fast learner ka at nakitaan ka ni Ivy ng potensyal. Just take every single step easy. We got so much time bago maganap ang first plan ni Ivy. She'll discuss more of her plans later when we got back, okay?"

"This 29th floor is the floor for personal meetings. Meetings with the people with the known ranks in the underground. All important documents are also kept here and only Ivy is only allowed to stop right here but since tinutour naman kita, she'll understand our excuse."

"And obviously, the last floor is Ivy's office. We can't just possibly enter there. May sensor naman diba. You really need Ivy's permission to enter the floor but this time, since kasama natin sya, we can enter the room."

Napa-oo na lang ako sakanysakanyang mahabang paliwanag. From the very first floor up to the thirtieth floor, diniscuss nya sakin. At exactly 2:30, nakabalik kami.

"Finish touring her around?" 

Tanong ni Ivy sabay kagat sa kanyang kinakaing chocolate cake. Nung makita iyon ni Joy sa lamesa, she hurriedly took a piece of it and started eating.

"Yes. She learned so much from me." Sagot ni Joy kahit may laman pa ang kanyang bibig.

"Good. So we can proceed now to the training."
