{CHAPTER NINETEEN: LESSON TWO, FIGHTING}

Dianne's POV

"Again Dianne! Swear, you won't stop until you don't hit that fucking bullseye!"

Ayan na. Nawawalan na ng pasensya sakin tong si Ivy. Eh kasi naman, pagkaalis na pagkaalis nya kanina, hindi ko na matama-tamaan yung gitna. Almost two hours ko ng sinusubukang tirahin yung bullseye. Sumasakit na mata ko.

Napailing na lang ako before taking my gears off.

"I'm sorry Ivy. Hindi ko talaga---"

"So you're giving up?...agad."

Mahinahon nyang tanong sakin. Napaisip ako bigla. Should I really give up? Hindi ko lang matamaan yung bullseye, titigil na ako? Ganun ba ako kabilis sumuko.

I looked at the hitting paper once again in front of me.

"Hindi mo pa lang matamaan yung bullseye, susuko ka na kaagad? Pano pa kung sasabak ka na sa mga gang fights with us? Plus how can you take your revenge with the Salvadors? Dianne, you need to learn how to focus and how to make your patience grow longer. Never give up! Iyan ang motto ko sa life. Kung susuko ba ako, sa palagay mo nandito ako ngayon sa harapan mo at may ganito karaming pera? I think no. Maling mali, Dianne."

She trailed off. She held my shoulders tapos tinignan nya ako ng mariin sa dalawang mata.

"I'm training you for a greater battle. Alam mong hindi lang basta-basta ang mga Salvador. They will fight kahit pa sa maling paraan. They will do everything to win...and I know we don't want it to happen, right?"

Tumango ako. This is a serious matter by the way. Tama si Ivy. She always got a point and me, sa pagsuko lang ako magaling. I shrugged my shoulders tapos hinarap kong muli ang target sa aking harapan. I didn't wear my gears anymore. I want to hear the real sound of the gun. I want to hear my new nature.

Bagong kapaligiran na puno ng ingay at gulo. That's what I want and that what I want to give back. Hindi ko kailangan ng tulong ng mga Salvador and I will raise the flag of my clan, the Santos.

I will win this fight. The fight with my new friends, with Ivy.

I held the gun in front of me bago pinikit at huminga ng malalim. Once I opened my eyes, agad kong tinitigan ang bullseye.

"Fuck you little bullseye to the very damn nth level! Argh!"

Then I shoot it...and that's how we do it.

"What's you're next lesson?"

"Fighting skills daw sabi ni Ivy."

Napatango si Alice. For the punching lesson, ipinaubaya muna ako ni Ivy kay Alice since I know how to use guns by the way. Yes, tama ka ng basa dyan, I just hitted the bullseye a while ago so excellent na daw ako but every Sunday, babalik ako sa gunning room for more practice. One shot isn't enough.

Nasa ika-17th floor parin naman kami but another room. Another training room to be exact. Dito ako ngayon tuturuan ni Alice for the basics in fighting. Kung paano umiwas sa mga suntok, punching, kicking and more.

"You need to anticipate the moves of your opponents first. Kung sisipa ba sila or kung anong kamay ang gagamitin para masuntok or masampal ka or kung dedepensa lang ba sila from you."

Ang dami ko palang dapat matutunan muna noh. At first akala ko basta mo na lang syang susugurin ng suntok then ayun, kung ano anong sipa at sampal na yung gagawin mo. Hindi naman kasi ako fan ni Jackie Chan o kaya ni Bruce Lee para matutunan yung stunts nila. Thus, I'm not a fan of action movies.

Dun ako sa mga Peppa Pig o kaya Dora the Explorer. Oh yes! Syempre. Oops, huwag kakalimutan ang, 'I'm a Barbie Girl in the Barbie World!' at tsaka, 'May humihingi ng tulong! May humihingi ng tulong! Go Wonder Pets!'

Fan ako ni Ming Ming dun. Ahaha. Mimi or Ming Ming? Ewan ko.

I saw Alice wore a very big shirt with foam inside. She looked chubby.

"I want you to punch me."

"Ha?"

Punch? Diba suntok yun? Gusto nyang suntukin ko sya? Is she crazy?!

"Suntok? Susuntukin kita? And why would I do that?!"

"Fighting lesson toh, Dianne. Now I want you to punch me in my torso. Dito sa may foam. Now."

"No---"

"Do it!"

Napairap ako sa kanya. I just nodded at her command bago ko sya sinuntok ng mahina sa may foam ng kanyang suot na gear.

"Seriously? Suntok na yun?" Tanong ni Alice sakin and she looked a little bit pissed off.

"Hindi. Kalabit lang."

"I want you to be serious, Dianne! This isn't a game, okay?!"

"Pano kita seseryosohin kung hindi ko  kayang suntukin ang kaibigan ko?! Are you...crazy?!"

Hindi ko sya napigilang hindi sigawan. I can't hurt a friend. Never. Ever in my whole life kaya hindi ko lang lubos isipin kung paano ako kinayang traydurin ni Ghil. That sore bitch!

Nilapitan ako ni Alice before she tapped my shoulder.

"Practice lang toh. And, I'm used to punches, Dianne. Many people punched me hard in the face and it really hurts but it's still okay. I'm still beautiful and living pretty. You'll just punch me. It's okay. Hindi naman kita kakainin if you punch me, right?"

Natawa ako ng konti sa kanya. Kahit medyo may pagkaseryoso ang mukha ni Alice, she's still positive. Tulad na lang ngayon. Partida na lang na kanina ko pa lang sila nakilala.

Lumayo ako ng konti sa kanya at inambahan sya ng suntok. She was taken aback but I didn't matter it anymore. Diba sabi nya, okay lang daw sa kanya yun.

"Once more, Dianne. And take it more stronger."

I once gave her a running attack before she staggered backwards at na-out of balance. I smirked at her reaction before I help her get up.

"You said I should take it more str---"

"But not that strong! Wtf."

Natawa lang ako. Kasi naman, prinessure niya ako eh...kaya ayan, sinunod ko lang naman si Alice. Sabi nya eh, more stronger pa daw edi ibinigay ko. Pinagpagan nya yung damit nya pagkatapos hubarin yung shirt na may foam sa loob kaya back to her normal body shape na sya.

"You should remember to control your strength sometimes. Hindi kasalanan ng iba kung masyado kang napapagod just because you gave all your strength sa mga punches and kicks mo. Control it so you can estimate the strength that your opponent is about to give you back, okay?"

"Copy."

"After that, siguro naman solved ka na sa punching skills mo?"

I nodded.

"Good. Take a rest first, darling. I'll teach you later how to take advantage to your enemy."

Update at exactly 10:02 in the evening. Ang lamig guys! Ilang araw na lang kasi at Pasko na. Excited na ako kaso since I'm 13 already, konti na lang ang marerecieve kong gifts. Pass na rin ako kay Santa. Huhuhu! Btw, hope u like the update.
