Torabesuti ni naru (To be a Travesty)

EPISODE THREE

---

MY POV: Demonstrating our talents to prove that we're worthy.

[//Yuji went first//]

"So you're saying you'll fight against curses because someone else told you to?"

"You fail." - Principal Yaga exclaims

"Please. Give me another chance. I won't 'lose' again." - Yuji begged

"It's not a matter of winning or losing, Itadori..."

"It's the fact that you've failed to understand the importance of all sorcerers."

"Their story... Where they come from... Who or what made them ought to be today... Why they're still fighting? Your purpose to become a sorcerer is weak!"

"And, you will continue to remain weak until its resolved. But, I doubt it."

"So, you fail Itadori. I'll call Gakuganji and schedule an appointment for your execution." - Principal Yaga said dialing in his phone

[MY POV: Assuming this was my moment to shine. I stepped in before he could respond. Trying to vouch for Yuji is gonna be hard but if it'll save his life. I'll take the risk. By suggesting an alternative. One which will make us all happy.]

"You said if Yuji beats the teddy bear, you'll accept him into the academy, right?" - Fudo stated

"Yes. That's if he passed. But he didn't so Yuji must die. Sorry." - truthfully speaking, the principal became intrigued.

"Why don't you let me tussle then?! I'm sure Yuji is worthy enough to become a sorcerer. He has the right attitude, so just let it slide." - I responded

"No can do, your friend has become more of a threat than a valuable asset. There's no point in keeping him alive. He already lost..."

"So, is alright if I fight em?" - pointing at Yuji's abuser, Ted was enjoying every second of this.

"Did you not hear a single word I said? Never forget this is a duel between my curse doll & your friend?! How dare you insinuate a longtime friend to be so feeble, fool?!" - Yaga said gnarling his teeth at me, he looks past his sunglasses in plain disgust.

Rather than comprehending my true feelings, Yaga was quick to lash out instead based upon what I might've interpreted harshly. Yet, he was sadly mistaken.

[Shaking my head in disagreement. I smiled widely.]

"No way. All I want is for Yuji to be happy and fulfill his dream. As his friend, I can't watch as you continue to humiliate him while I stand here."

"You're clearly baffling, child. You should leave too. Unless, your focus is to challenge me." - Yaga spoke while threatening the demon.

I didn't give in to his insulting comments; instead, I boasted and shrugged as if it didn't really matter. As any technical teenager would react.

"I won't win, of course. If that's what you're going at. You can ask Gojo how my fight went. I was beaten pretty badly. You're a principal of this school, right! You have to be the strongest.." - Fudo attempting flattery

                             "Ahem." - Gojo scoffs

                                     "2nd Strongest..." - Fudo raises a eyebrow

                                                       "Lower." - Gojo cheekily admits

"ANYWAYS!" - rattled in confusion, I stared at sun-shades as I try to persuade him.

"You have to give people another chance to redeem themselves, isn't the whole point of the trials: to prove one's worth."

"You can already see that Yuji cares for the promise he's made to his grandfather, why not let him respect the dying wish?" - I ululate

"Enough! I am beginning to get a headache from this constant chatter. Fine! Fine! What would you propose we do in order for Yuji to pass the examination?!" - Yaga replies aggressively

"Hmph, how about a coin toss?" - Fudo smirks

"Oooh, this should be interesting!" - Gojo chirps

"I'm listening." - the man sounding disgruntled

"Heads, my friend is accepted into your school!"

   "And, tails..."

"Tails, you will not only kill Yuji, but me as well." - Fudo says calmly

"WHAT!" - all of them shout

"You're sounding even more blasphemous, why sacrifice your own life?"

"Isn't it obvious?" - the boy becoming confused

"No, not really." - Yaga claims

                                           "I care." - I smiled

"Fair point. What do you think, Itadori? Shall we proceed?" - pretending to act tough, he's much plushier than his own creation.

"I don't want Fudo to be executed, but he seems confident so I'm in." - Yuji agrees.

                                                                             "Then, let's begin."

Timeskip- Outside of Jujutsu High

---

"Fudo-man... you gotta be the most psychotic piece of work! You left everything to chance in one coin toss! How did you do it, yung-blood?" - Gojo patting the young man's back

"Well, Mr. Satoru. It takes big nuts to master the 'flip', maybe I'll show you sometime. 'wink'' wink'" - Fudo acting cool, he easily regrets the very words coming out of his mouth

"My! You're gonna make this handsome fella blush, welp! I guess this is goodbye then. I do apologize for all the trouble." - Gojo presenting his hand

"It's no worries, I'm just glad to by Yuji's side. Please tell him to come visit my residence sometime." - I said, reaching out for his hand until he does a snapback.

"Will do." - Gojo said saluting farewell.

MY POV: I managed to walk down the many steps that lead to the parking lot until I was halted by a familiar voice. Grinning to find out who it was. It was none other than Principal Yaga.

                                "WAIT!" - the instructor barks

"Huh! What is it now? I won the game, remember. I hope you keep your word, mister Yaga." - facing away, I kept walking until being intervened.

"The council suggested I give this to you, the pamphlet."

"Pffpht, what is this? A McDonald's coupon." - he laughs ripping it apart, Fudo began reading.

"Are you serious?" - I replied, grinding my teeth in frustration

"I am very serious, boy. You've caused much trouble for the association. And, the council protects their interests...from any wandering eyes. Though, they made an exception. You will not reveal any info. or we'll cut out loose ends. Permanently. We must declare you to be a deviant, in other words..."

"A Travesty." - I said annoyed. I could literally barf.

"Precisely. You are still free to leave, but you will not return to this school ever again." - Yaga vocalizing his solemn tone.

The only action I could partake in was laughter.

"Whatever. I didn't wanna come to this lame school, anyway. Tell your superiors they can shove it up their magical a$$" - giving him the bird (impolite gesture), I left.

Later on that following day

---

Understanding that I was prohibited from entering Jujutsu Tech due to revolving issues. The association of sorcerers found it funny to blame me for the creation of Yuji x Sukuna. Utter bull$hark if you ask me! I still have no idea how he became a Jurei? Apparently, once I received background info. Gojo's implication of a cursed spirit can be born out of traumatic experiences or nightmares. I kinda dig it... somewhat. At he's trying to teach me. Even though, the guy is mildly confusing.

Anyways, after I departed. I got a call from Megumi himself. We spoke during Yuji's funeral concerning how I saved his life. He took a liking to me.

Surveying thru my cell phone, I was opposed that I hardly had any contacts. About 6 people.

"Pathetic. I seriously need to socialize more often. This isn't healthy one bit." - I exhaled in stress, I ran late to meet up with Yuji.

Except, to my unnecessary surprise. I do recall the message playing out to be awfully weird... did- pfhpt no way- it can't be?

"Oi, Fudo-san! Over here!" - a slyful man waving like an obsessive girlfriend.

I was not fond in getting into any trouble recently. Because, my aunt will kill me if she finds serious men at our door.

"S-sup, Gojo. Do you need--" - Fudo shy-fully asks

"Who the hell are you, sleaze ball?"

A girl with orange hair confronting me, I start to invisibly sweat.

                                                                            "Err- the name's!"

"I don't care! Get lost already!" - the unknown girl retorts

                                               "Ouch.." - Gojo cheeps

"...hey, look... I don't know what crawled outta your a$$ today, but you're being mean."

"So, do you mind bringing it down a tempo? It's ruining my vibe."

"Gojo-sensei.. Just who the hell is this guy?!" - the mysterious girl pointing at me

"He's a friend of your teammates. Please treat him with kindness. He's been through a lot." - Gojo grins

"Hmph. As if... so... do you wanna tell me your name? Or do you plan on standing there like a complete dweeb? - she said, tapping my foot lightly. I wasn't happy or prepared to be confronted in this fashion.

"My name is Fudo, chili pepper. You?" - I ask politely.

"Kugisaki Nobara."
