"Yeah Lori I am so excited!!"

"I am also extremely excited and I am sorry I can't join you. My Aunt Lee is coming for lunch today."

"It's no problem. Mum will be there to keep me company."

"Yeah that's cool. Okay I gotta go, bye Addie. Call me again as soon as you come home after meeting Michelle."

"Of course I will call you. Bye."

Adalyn ended their FaceTime call. It was 12.00 noon and Adalyn was extremely excited to meet Michelle. She offered Lorelai to join her, but her Aunt is coming, so she won't be able to join.

Laura had gone to the café a little earlier than usual, as she wanted to make it more presentable. Adalyn said that it is alright the way it is, but Laura insisted to make some minor changes. Adalyn decided to go there around 2.30 pm; half an hour before Michelle comes, so that she can reserve a good seat for them.

There were 2 and a half hours left until Adalyn was supposed to go, so she started to watch TV. But she soon got bored, so she went to do something she hasn't done in a while now.

She picked up her camera and hanged it around her neck and picked up her phone and put it in her pocket along with her airpods and her wallet. She then picked up the house keys, locked the door and began her walk. After walking for 10 minutes, Adalyn reached where she wanted to.

SPRAYPAINTS AND MORE

"Hey Jim." Adalyn said as she entered the shop.

The shop was pretty small, but it's very beautiful. There was graffiti all over the walls, a lot of it done by Adalyn herself. Jim, the owner of the shop, met Adalyn in a tunnel, where she was doing her graffiti. Jim loved her work and asked for her help in decorating his shop. They became fast friends.

"Oh hi Adalyn. How are you?"Jim said while turning around to face Adalyn.

"I'm good. I just won a free photography internship under my idol Michelle." Adalyn smiled.

"Oh my god congrats Addie!" Jim said happily.

"Thanks." Adalyn replied.

"So do you have any new spray paints?" Adalyn further asked while moving around the shop.

"Yeah. These just came." Jim said while picking up a can and handing it to Adalyn. "These are non-toxic. And these even last longer than the regular ones."

"Okay. I'd like the colors green, pink, red, black, blue and yellow." Adalyn said.

"Okay. Come at the counter. I'll put them in a proper bag for you." Jim said while leading Adalyn to the counter.

Jim put all the cans in a bag and handed it to Adalyn. As Adalyn was a frequent visitor she only had to pay half the amount.

"Bye Jim!" Adalyn yelled out while going out of the shop.

"Bye Addie!" He replied.

Adalyn walked to the tunnel. She has been doing graffiti since she was 14 years old. When she turned 14, she started spray painting and she realized it is another escape for her from her life, just like photography. But spray painting is a mere passion, not something she wants to pursue, like photography. After completing her graffiti, she would click its pictures from all different angles.

As soon as she reached the tunnel, she put her airpods in her ears and began to blast some music and she began her artwork.

After 30 minutes:

"Done."

Adalyn walked a few steps back from the tunnel wall and stared at her piece as a smile crept up on her face. She picked up her camera and began clicking pictures.

After finishing her photography session she kept the half used cans in the bag, her airpods and phone back in her pocket and her camera around her neck. Then she began to walk back to her home.

As Adalyn reached home, she went inside and looked at the clock hanging in the living room. It said 2.15 pm. As only 15 minutes were left till she had to go the café, she ran upstairs, freshened up and changed her clothes, as all her clothes were completely covered in lots of colorful spray paints.

She went downstairs and picked up everything she needed: camera, phone and house keys. She then locked the door and basically sprinted to 'Mocha Aroma'.

She reached there and opened the door. Her eyes widened as she took in the beautiful café in front of her. Her mum had really outdone herself.

Mocha Aroma was a rooftop café which added to its aesthetics. Laura hung some beautiful lights and added more plants. The view from the café was extremely beautiful. A lot of tall buildings were visible. The café was extremely comfortable. There were a lot of pillows around the café.

"So how does it look?" Laura asked from Adalyn's behind, while she wiped her hands on her apron.

"Its- wow." Adalyn said, who was completely taken aback by the beauty of the café.

"Thanks hun." Laura smiled.

'Mocha Aroma' had always meant a lot to Laura. Jacob had always adored Laura's cooking and believed that she deserved to have her own café. So after 5 years of Adalyn's birth, Jacob bought this extremely beautiful place just for Laura. Laura put in her all to keep up with her business and it all worked out. People absolutely admired Laura's cooking and visited this place often. This place reminded Laura and Adalyn a lot of Jacob.

Laura went back into the kitchen to continue preparing the orders, while Adalyn walked around to find the perfect table for her and Michelle. But as she was roaming around, a question popped up in her mind.

How many people are coming? Is it just Michelle, or the whole team or only Michelle and Ruel?

It made her more nervous. She had no idea how many people she'd meet and which table she needs to reserve for them. First she thought to text her and ask, but nervousness and anxiousness got the best of her, and she couldn't come to text her. The next solution that she thought of was to wait. It wasn't very crowded, so all sorts of table were available; for two people, three people and even more than that.

The counter where the cashier stood along with the kitchen were indoors. It was on the rooftop only. Adalyn had exclusive access to the kitchen, so she went inside to be along with her mum until Michelle came. Adalyn went to her mum and sat down on the counter.

"Mum I'm scared." Adalyn let out.

"Aww Addie don't be scared. You're meeting a photographer just like you. There's nothing to worry about." Laura smiled.

"But what if more people come? Like Ruel or his manager or anyone else?" Adalyn said.

"Adalyn, take a deep breathe. You will be able to do this. It doesn't matter if anyone else also comes, you'll be able to talk to them. I'll be around you when you're having your conversation with them."

"Okay mum. Thank you so much." Adalyn smiled.

Her mum continued to cook and Adalyn looked around the kitchen. Suddenly her phone vibrated. She opened it up.

Michelle

Adalyn I'm here. Where are you?

"Oh god mum, Michelle's here. I'm going." Adalyn said hurriedly as she got off the counter and ran outside.

"Don't stress Addie. You'll do absolutely fine." Laura said.

Adalyn came out and scanned her eyes for Michelle. She knew exactly what she looked like. She searched, and then her eyes landed on a person with short black hair and tattoos, looking down at her phone screen. Adalyn instantly knew that that's Michelle. For her luck, Michelle was alone. Adalyn took a deep breath and walked towards her.
