After two hours since the meeting began:

"Coco it's been two hours since Ruel went." Adalyn said.

"Don't worry; these meetings take time." Coco assured her.

"What are they talking about anyways?" Adalyn asked.

"They discuss tour dates and stuff. Frankly, I don't exactly know what they are about." Coco explained.

"Oh. But it's 8.30 pm now and I'm feeling hungry."

"Me too. You know what, lets just knock at their door and ask if they want to eat now. If they want to, then we all can go down together, or else you and me can have dinner."

"Yeah that's fine." Adalyn said as she got up from the bed and wore her socks and shoes. Coco did the same and both of them picked up their phones and Adalyn picked the room key and locked the door as she came out.

Nate's room was the last one. They both walked up to it and Coco knocked. A few seconds passed and no one opened the door. Coco knocked the door again, and an angry Ruel opened up the door.

"What do you want?" He said angrily.

"Well, we just wanted to ask if you all want to join us for dinner." Adalyn said timidly, who was honestly scared of Ruel's anger.

"No. Now go." He said as he shut the door at their faces.

"What was that?" Adalyn whispered.

"I don't know." Coco said with a a shrug. "Let's go and have dinner."

Adalyn nodded and both of them jumped in the elevator and went down to the restaurant. It was a buffet that day, so both of them began loading their plates with all that appealed them; ranging from seafood like salmon to proteins like chicken and vegetarian food like salads.

After loading their plates they both sat down at a table and began chatting, forgetting about Ruel and his anger. They chatted about everything, Coco told about how it feels like to be a famous singer's older sister and how everything changed for them when Ruel became famous. Adalyn told about how big an opportunity it is for her to intern under Michelle.

"Did you show these pictures you clicked today to Michelle?" Coco asked while eating a prawn.

"I showed the ones I clicked at Madame Tussauds, but not the one I clicked at the park. I'll show her as soon as I can." Adalyn said as she ate some salad.

"She'll love them, I tell you." Coco said.

"I hope so."

"Lets get some dessert."

"Okay."

Both of them got up and wandered around the tables where the dessert items were kept. Adalyn decided on some chocolate pudding and Coco had some ice-cream. After finishing their dessert they both went back upstairs.

"Coco its 9.30 now and they still haven't eaten any dinner. What about your mum?" Adalyn asked worriedly.

"Even I'm getting worried. Let's not knock again, I'll call my mum and ask her." Coco said as she pulled out her phone and dialled Kate's number. She didn't pick up the first call. Coco tried again and after 4 rings she picked up.

"Hello mum."

"What are you doing?"

"Have dinner atleast."

"Mum bu-"

Coco got cut as Kate disconnected the call.

"What did she say?" Adalyn asked.

"She said the meeting is still going on and it's important. I told her to have dinner but she said they all are busy and can't have it. I tried saying that it's been too long and all of them need to take a break, but before I could say anything she ended the call."

"Oh."

Suddenly the door of Nate's room opened and all of them came out. Ruel came with the same anger on his face.

"Ruel are you alright?" Adalyn asked as she came in his way. He only pushed her to the side and she fell down. He continued to walk and went in his room and slammed the door behind him. He didn't even apologize to Adalyn.

"Addie are you alright?" Coco asked while helping her stand.

"Yeah I'm fine." Adalyn said, dusting off some dust off her clothes.

"Why is he like that?" Coco asked everyone else.

"Nothing happened. He'll be fine. We all are going for dinner." Nate said calmly, as if nothing had happened. All of them followed him downstairs without saying any word.

"What the-" Coco began.

"-hell." Adalyn finished.

They both exchanged confused glances. Coco walked to Ruel's room's door and was going to knock but Adalyn stopped her.

"Don't!" Adalyn said.

"Why not?" Coco asked.

"He's not in a good mood. Let him sleep. He'll be fine tomorrow morning. We'll talk then."

"Okay." Coco said and both of them walked in to their room and freshened up and dropped on the bed and tried to sleep.

Time rewind: 6.30 pm

Knock knock

Ruel knocked on Nate's room's door and it opened up, revealing an angry Nate. Without saying any word, Nate stepped aside and Ruel entered and sat on the edge of the bed. Everyone else was in the room, besides Adalyn and Coco of course.

"What's up?" He asked Nate calmly.

"You ask me what's up, when you know exactly what's up?!" Nate screamed at Ruel.

"Okay Nate calm down." Chelsea said as she got up from her position and rubbed his back to calm him down. For a few seconds, he didn't say anything. But then he spoke up again, with his anger less now.

"Ruel, you messed up."

"What did I do now?"

"I know you like Adalyn."

"What! I- I don't!"

"You both blush when you look at each other and blush even more when you touch."

"When did we even touch?" Ruel said, raising his voice.

"Now Ruel, that's no way to talk." Kate said.

"But-"

"Whenever you shake each other's hand. The day you met, at the airport." Nate said.

"So what?"

"You know what happened with Olivia right?"

"God Nate it won't happen again. Why don't you trust me?"

"I actually let it slide at the airport you know."

"Nate, what are you trying to say?"

"When me, Nate and Jack were done with our work, we both were coming back and we came across a park. In the afternoon. We three decided to go in the park to chill." Beau began. "There we saw two familiar faces. It was you and Adalyn. First we thought you both are just hanging out as frie-"

"That's exactly what we were doing!"

"Don't interfere Ruel. Anyways, we were happy you both got along, but we saw how you both laid down and your hands were intertwined."

"So what?! And you were spying on us?!" Ruel screamed.

"Ruel!" Michelle scolded him. "That's too loud!"

"What Michelle! We only held hands and you know why? We both just opened up to each other about some stuff. She opened up about her father, I was only comforting her. And it's not like we kissed or something." He screamed. "She's my age mate. We had just shook hands before on us being friends. I was helping her. Her father died okay? Her mum had gone through depression. Everything seemed black for her. I was only comforting her about it. She's my friend now and that's the least I could do!"

There was a silence among all of them.

"Ruel, I'll only say this once. You and Adalyn can't be friends anymore." Nate said.

"WHAT!" He screamed.

"Yes. That's it. Conversation over."

"No Nate! I need her. She listened to me. I opened up to her. You can't just take that away from me."

"Sorry but that's my decision."

"She's going to do photography for me. How can we not talk when she'll be clicking my pictures? Have you seen her photography, it's beautiful. How will I stop myself from complimenting her?!"

"You're lucky we aren't sending her back to Adelaide."

"You seriously considered that option? The option of her to stop interning under Michelle before it even started? And today was our first day together. How can you rush these decisions?"

"Everything I said is final. She'll still intern under Michelle. But you both can't be friends."

"How is that possible?"

"All you are supposed to talk is about your photography. That's it. No other talks."

"Then what's the fun of having an age mate?"

"She's not here for your fun Ruel."

"I only wanted an age mate so that I have someone to talk to. I am tired of working with people who are 10-20 years older than me."

"Ruel we are here to listen you." Joel said.

"I know you all are, but an age mate is better for me." Ruel frowned.

"Ruel, please understand, it's for your own good." Jack said.

This was the last straw for Ruel.

"You all don't know what's good for me!" He screamed. "It's so unfair that you don't even trust me. It hurts to know that the team I've been working with for years now can't even trust me."

"Ruel we do tru-" Jack began but Ruel cut him off.

"No you don't trust me! If you did you wouldn't let this happen. You would let me be friends with Adal-"

Knock knock

This time, Ruel got cut off with the door knocking. He didn't do anything. It knocked again. He got up from his position and walked up to the door with a red face and eyes full of anger. He opened the door to see Coco and Adalyn.

"What do you want?" He asked angrily.

"Well, we just wanted to ask if you all want to join us for dinner." Adalyn said timidly, who was honestly scared of Ruel's anger.

"No. Now go." He said as he shut the door at their faces.

"What happened?" Joel asked.

"Its late so they were inviting us for dinner." He said with the same anger.

"Oh."

"Did you see that? She's so nice. She literally came here to ask if we all want to have dinner with her and Coco or not. But you all don't care." Ruel bellowed.

"Ruel, for the final time, stop this. You and Adalyn can't be friends. Okay? Put this thing in your head." Nate said.

"Mum," Ruel said turning to Kate, "how can you let this happen? Do you want this to happen? I felt happy with her. And she literally said to me that she's glad she got to meet me."

"Hun I care for you so much, I don't want you to go through the same thing again." Kate said softly. "Adalyn is amazing, but as a mother, I can't see my son go through this again."

"Mum how can you? I'll be careful." He pleaded as tears threatened to fall.

"Sorry Ruel, but it's for you."

Ruel sat down back on the edge of the bed with his hands in his hair. He closed his eyes, and took some deep breaths in order to calm himself. Five minutes passed and no one talked. Ten minutes passed and still everyone was silent. Either they were looking at Ruel with a sorrowful expression or they were looking out the window.

It was looking like as if Ruel had calmed down, but boy were they wrong. For some time more, he was sitting like that, but then he got up and walked up to Nate.

"How could you Nate! You're like my other father. How could you?" Ruel let out. His blood was boiling with anger and it was all being showcased on his face.

"Ruel! I did it for you. If I wouldn't have, you both would have fallen for each other and then she would have unexpectedly left you. You'd be in depression again, and me, your family, other team mates and your friends would have to pick up and mend your broken pieces."

"You don't care about me! That's why you did this!"

"Ruel I care so much about you. You're like my son. I care so much that I can't see you depressed again."

Ring ring

Someone's phone began to ring, and everyone turned around to see it was Kate. She missed it the first time. It rang again. She picked up.

"Hello?"

"Yeah Coco?"

"The meeting is still going on. It's important."

"We all are busy. We can't have it yet."

"Bye Coco."

"It was Coco?" Michelle asked.

"Yeah she was asking for all of us to have dinner."

"I think we should have it. It's getting pretty late."

"Yeah okay."

All of them got up and went out the door. Ruel still had a red face and eyes which looked empty. He was not feeling hungry so he decided to go in his room only.

"Ruel are you alright?" Adalyn asked as she came in his way. He only pushed her to the side and she fell down. He continued to walk and went into his room and slammed the door behind him. He angrily kicked off his shoes and without even freshening up or changing to comfortable clothes, he plopped on the bed and buried his face in the pillow. Slowly he drifted off to sleep.
