⸺ CHAOS AND HORROR struck the Red Keep with the sudden strange weather and the start of the famous blood moon as well as Queen Alicent's labour that had begun with the appalling sight of blood pouring down her legs and her screaming in pain. Midwife's that surrounded Queen Alicent urged her to push and drink a special tea to help with her pain to which she angrily refused. 14 hours later, the Queen had finally given birth to her child. A daughter, a princess born in the night of rain and thunder, born in the night of a blood moon, born with fire and blood indeed.

⸺ ALEREA TARGARYEN was brought into the world as the youngest daughter of King Viserys I and Queen Alicent. As she was washed and put into a warm blanket, free from the blood that she was drenched in, the Queen had held her in her arms and could finally have a good look at her daughter but what stared back at her left her stunned. Alerea Targaryen, a daughter who possessed the blood of the dragon running through her veins looked anything but Targaryen. Instead of being blessed with the famous Targaryen white hair and stunning purple eyes, she was blessed with her mothers Hightower auburn eyes and hair although her mother was relieved when she caught sight of a thick white hair strand on her daughters head but Alicent felt as though she was looking through a mirror, as if she was watching the very memory of when her father Otto Hightower had first held Alicent herself when she was a babe. Despite the Queen's confusion and fear of the rumors that would spread of her, she had found herself smiling and she did not intend to stop.

⸺ THE DRAGON EGG was placed in the Princess's cradle and it's shone in the light of the candles that were provided in Queen Alicent's bedchamber showing it's beauty. A beautiful emerald green egg, it reminded her of the colour of the Hightower's and a sense of pride overcame Queen Alicent. She stood watching her daughter, her Alerea, sleeping tightly in her little blanket until she heard a crack and then another. the Queen stood scared, wary of her surroundings as she had reached for her Alerea, had then she took notice of the dragon egg. A small emerald green dragon had stood next to her daughter, nuzzling against Alerea's cheek.

⸺ AS THE YEARS WENT, Alerea grew into a beautiful and unique girl. Despite having the appearance of her mother she was the opposite of Queen Alicent. Instead of taking interests in dancing, sewing and other lady activities she preferred to train, fight and ride on dragon-back but neither-less took most her lessons as princess of the realm. Chaos with fire and blood followed her where ever she went, a menace but desperate for love of her father. Alerea knew her father the King did not truly love her but as the young child she was, she refused to believe it. Alerea was his daughter, she and her siblings were his blood and she would make him see that and if trouble could only grab his attention then so be it. But after a certain incident Alerea lost all hope and love for Viserys and she left for Essos to adventure with her final words to her family "I will return with steel for skin and fire for blood."

First I decided to age up Aegon, Helaena and Aemond since people have been saying that Aemond is 16 in the show but since this is my book, it simply won't do! So now Aegon is 21, Helaena is 19 and Aemond is 18. (I would add Daeron but he has not appeared on the show yet). I have also decided to somewhat change the reasoning for Alicent having Aegon usurping the throne and man is it gonna be a mess. We are going to have kinda power-hungry Alicent!

⤿ Hi everyone! I am alive and well ;) but I am finally writing something! I had actually started Game of Thrones not long before House of the Dragon came out so I was quite lucky there but ever since I decided to watch Game of Thrones, I have loved it since and so here I am now.
⤿ I intend to make more oc's for either the sake of season 2 of HOTD or because I am still figuring them out as well as their roles in The Green Bane.
⤿ If I have made any mistakes that I have not edited, please do not be afraid to point it out!
⤿ Our first chapters will take place during episode 6-7 season 1 of HOTD, so please be wary of that in case anyone gets confused!
⤿ High Valyrian will be included and I will doing it in original writing and it's translation because I like to try and speak it myself! (Even though I'm not good at it)
