My regards to everyone. I like to address myself as Yuri, though any other nickname would suffice too. You can use any pronouns for me, I don't mind. I have experience in judging for over three years, from judging for communities to awards, I have experience in reviewing and editing pieces of works too. I would say that I have judged/reviewed over 100 books throughout my journey and even more now that I am participating as a judge in this award show. I like diverse genres and don't dislike any of them, mature and LGBTQ is more than fine for me. I personally like LGBTQ, Fanfiction (only about people I know, because it's quite hard to remember names for me), Mystery/Thriller, Paranormal (It includes but not limited to Werewolves, Vampires, Witches, Demons and many more.) I am really thrilled to be one of the judges, I hope the best of the best wins, and don't lose hope if you don't win, I remember getting the last position twice in award show but now I am excelling in writing fiction, just do the hard/smart work and see the results bloom in itself. Hey earthlings! I go by Asher, not many people call me that but a nickname is always pretty cool. I have written some books but they are definitely not worth showing. I like dark romance and dark themes in general, lgbtq+, mystery/thriller and psychological fictions/ fanfictions-- Till now I enjoy judging alot as I get to experience different genres, writing style etc of other writers. And I have to say even though Wattpad takes the worst decisions possible and is making the app worse day by day I cherish this app alot for the people I met on here. That's all I suppose. And and one more thing if you don't win in these awards or any awards in general don't be demotivated or anything you'll get it one day and not getting an award or a title does not mean that you don't deserve it. Hello. I'm Alix Davenport. I come from a background in the corporate world with a degree in Sales Management, specializing in import/export. Personal info: Danish resident, speaks several languages, late forties, single, no kids, no pets, avid reader and writer. My writing experience goes way back; editor of my school paper, business pitches and proposals, and my fiction writing started in my teens. Most of my time, I spend working with writers as a coach, editor, and beta reader, helping people improve their work through one-on-one sessions. I've been on Watt since 2020, and I've judged plenty of awards for communities and individual award hosts in that time. I write primarily Contemporary Romance. My books are Dark Romantic Suspenses in a mafia setting with LGBTQ+ representation and erotic content, especially focused on BDSM and the portrayal of that community. For the change of scenery, I dabble in Fantasy and Paranormal Romance, too. The genres I write also reflect the genres I like to read and judge, as I feel I can offer the best feedback and insight in those. As mentioned, I've judged a lot of awards, but I've also entered plenty in my time and know the ins and outs of them. I've got a fair share of wins under my belt, both in main genres and in mini categories, including a 2023 AMBY Award for Romance. While I enjoy a good romance novel, I'm drawn to narratives that go beyond the typical high school tropes. As a judge, I value writing that uses strong verbs and vivid descriptions to immerse the reader in the story. I enjoy stories that 'show' rather than 'tell'. It's a complex writing skill to explore here on wattpad that's why I've delved into many judging awards in search for authors who showcase such ability (So that I can improve my writing skills as well hehe :). However, I also enjoy teen fiction or mysterical filled adventures that drives one with questions of what will happen next!Anyways, I'm excited to judge y'alls beautiful books. One thing I'd always say is 'never give up'. Failure to get a good position in the awards section, shouldn't drown you to feeling that your book is bad/ unlovable. Rather streem for the books that have excelled and seek for improvement from them and continue your writing journey with your shoulders aimed high.Writing is a journey filled with rejections and revisions. But like the successful authors before us, keep pushing forward, refining your craft with each step.Even the most acclaimed authors have faced setbacks. Meow! I am Arjin. I have been an active member of Wattpad for nearly 2 years and have served as a judge for the same duration. I distinctly recall participating in first awards with the Ruby Award. At that time, despite my limited experience, I eagerly participated in every available award opportunity. Subsequently, I became involved in various communities, assuming the role of a judge. Over time, I gradually withdrew from most communities, currently maintaining active participation in just three. Through participation and reading a multitude of books, I have come to know the unique beauty in every genre. While I hold fondness for horror and science fiction, I wasn't very found of LGBTQ+ narratives. However, upon reading into these stories, I discovered that I love them. Although I've wanted to write for most of my adult life, raising four children as a widowed mom kept me busy. I was a 911 air and ground paramedic for over 20 years. Between making calls for heart attacks and car wrecks, I had a book📖 in my hands between every call. Now, with my kids all graduating college this May and my youngest receiving a full ride to Clark University, we are leaving Florida and moving to New York to buy a house and be close to my youngest. Writing and reading are two of my favourite things to do, and I'm all about sharing words of wisdom to fellow passionate writers. Let's rewind a bit. Through my two years in Wattpad just writing and reading, I've gathered tips and useful advice that I wish someone would've given to me when I first started out. So I love to share what I've learnt to others if it means it'll help them improve. Speaking of tips, let me tell you about my judging ethos. I'm all about fairness and constructive feedback. Experience ~I had always a keen interest in immersing into the world of reading, it helped me and helps me detach from the harsh reality of this dystopian world. Ever since, I discovered Wattpad, it enriched me with more writing skills than I have been going through before in the hardcopy form. Then, someday I found out about these incredible award shows going on which are held by the users themselves, other than the legendary Wattys and then began my expedition into more incredible books and getting on them. 

Since I joined this app, I have judged more than five awards and still now I am judging one named as happiness awards hosted by the happywriters. Favourite genres~I am in love with books, so all genres are very much likable to me. Some of my favourite genres are , Supernatural, Mystery/ Thriller , Chicklit and lastly the most common one and that is romance. I love delving in the world of cute and sweet romance and sometimes not gonna lie, dark romance too. So, all of you I am glad to be a part of this and a hearty thanks from my side.
