Ghosts
Ryan quickly ran over to the border of the field. "Amelie? What? Come on!" Amelie Tried to walk forward, but it seemed as the field got smaller and the outside world got bigger. None of the people seemed to notice her, as if she was invisible to them. Right behind her was Knox, seeming to be trying the same thing as her, with the same confused face.
Ryan came up to them, noticing that Dallon did as well. "How do we get in?" Amelie asked, her voice small and hopeless. Both Dallon and Ryan were puzzled as they thought.
My eyes fluttered open, and I immediately shot up. I was alive. I was there, but I wasn't. I felt like my body was failing to do something. Like I wasn't breathing. It felt like I didn't need to. I wonder if I could. Where's Dallon though? I look to my left, and see him, laying peacefully. He seemed so calm, and I felt as though waking him would disrupt his perfect nature. He barely looked like he was sleeping. His skin was pale, body limp. It was like he was dead. When I looked at my own skin though, it was the same tint. I wasn't even breathing. But my heart was beating. So I checked, made sure that his was as well. It was, and as much as it didn't sound, I was relieved. More confused, but relieved. I glanced around once more before taking a deep breath. I got dizzy, and from outside the field, I saw a girl. She was short and had red locks of hair. She looked frightened. Like she had just saw a ghost. I was scared too. I stopped breathing, and the girl ran away quickly.
"What if we breathe?"
