Brian went off to work on our cars a little earlier but I needed to sleep in because after last night my back and thighs were sore. But after 10 minutes of not being able to fall back asleep without Brian. I ended up just getting in the shower and getting ready for today.

I slid on a red bikini and put on some shorts over them making my way over to Tej's garage, where he had the tables set up next to the cars.

"She was into it, man. What's that about? And you seen the way she grabbed 'ol dudes head!" Roman argued with Brian

"She had to, man. He was testing her. You gotta remember her ass is on the line just like ours. But you have a point although I hate to admit it." Brian replied

"You trust this girl too damn much. She just like that crazy-ass trailer-rat from back-in-the-day, Tonya." Roman rebutted

"Tonya? Man you went out with her after I did" Brian said while laughing

Roman then stammered while saying, "I mean, I couldn't let it go to waste."

Brian did nothing but shake his head, going back to working on his car as I finally made my way over to where they stood and said, "I'm glad to see you two getting along"

Brian then turned kissing me on the cheek while saying, "Good morning baby"

"Wassup Chica?" Rome said causing me to laugh

"I'm Brazilian and Black, not Mexican foo" I replied

"Whatever" He said beginning to laugh

"Let's go check out this card game" Brian said while wiping his hands clean

I walked over with Brian and Rome following while hearing Jimmy say, "I got you. I got you."

"Is that right?" Tej questioned

"See we can race for cash, but when I step on the
gas, my nitrous go blast, leave yo' ass in the past. And Tej you about to lose your garage." Jimmy rapped

Finally making over to the table, Tej the replied simply saying with a smile, "Whatever, man"

I then hugged Suki who was sitting at the table with them and said, "What's up hottie?"

"Nothing much, girl" She replied kissed my cheek as Jimmy started rapping again, "I'm a low-budget mechanic, but I overcharge..."

"Pay me! Let's go, man. I told you!" He yelled excitedly while slamming his cards down on the table reaching for the money in the center, grabbing it as Tej said "You a happy man, I'm so glad"

We all began to laugh before Tej slammed his cards down and said, "This is my garage, boy. Royal flush! Give me this, man" snatching the money away

Continuing to laugh, Roman dapped Tej up and said "Holla', Uh, Yes!"

"Did I talk to him?" Tej asked Rome

"Talk to him" Roman replied laughing

"The blue shirt is really bringing out your eyes, papí," I said to Brian who was standing behind me causing him to smile and kissed my shoulder

"Damn. You can't play a player. Put that money back on the table. You know it's my next hand." Suki said laughing

"Jimmy, how you gonna pay me back if you keep
losing to Tej?" Brian said teasingly before his phone began to ring causing him to look at it before giving me and Rome that look.

Bilkins and Markham need to see us.

We walked into their meet-up destination seeing Bilkins, Markham and Dunn standing in front of us.

"Nice shirt, Bilkins," Brian said

"It's my day off," Bilkins replied lowly

"Yeah. Well, anyhow, this is the deal. Last night, Verone threatened a cop into giving us a window. We're driving to an airstrip in the Keys, off of Nallwood Avenue. Verone has a plane there and he's taking off for good." Brian said vastly

"Wait a minute. How do you know this?" Markham asked

"Verone...he mentioned it. We're going off of his word. Plus I'm pretty sure, Verone plans to kill us after we give him the money," I said nonchalantly

"Driving into an ambush was never part of the deal. I'm calling this off." Bilkins urged looking over to Markham

"Like hell you are. This is a Customs case, Bilkins. No one's calling this off unless I do... Look. This is real simple..." Markham seethed while picking up three two-way radios and said "...You make the run. You get Verone and his cash together...so I can move in for the bust. All right? You don't, I will find enough charges to make all three of you disappear."

"Take these..." He then said handing the radios over to us "...We're gonna have G.P.S. On you, the whole time...to make sure you don't get any cute ideas."  He concluded causing my eyes to roll as he walked away

"And to make sure nothing happens to them, right?" Bilkins asked

"Yeah, right." Markham retorted

We then turned to make our way out of the building, I pushed the door open and Rome said "The guy's a dick, man."

"Yep." Me and Brian agreed in cadence

"Let me get this right. If we don't do this, then we go to jail. But if we do it, then Verone's gonna kill us." Rome said walking to the railings overlooking the ocean.

"It's a hell of a deal, huh?" Brian said stopping beside him

"Yeah. Maybe it is...But I know this guy's got an ass full of loot that he's ready to dump in our cars...And I can think of two reasons why Verone doesn't need that money anymore.

"Ah, here we go. Us three." Brian smiled

"Just like the old days. What do you think?" Rome asked

"Do I want to know about the old days?" I asked teasingly

"I think they messed with the wrong people. That's what I think." Brian said fist-bumping Rome before  pulling his phone to his ear calling up Tej

"Yo, Tej."

"What's up, shawty?" Tej answered

"Hey, man, how quickly can you organize?"

After filling Tej in on what's been up the last few weeks he showed us a perfect spot to stir shit up with the Feds.

We walked through a skyway above a huge empty warehouse parking lot as Tej said "Look, folk, if y'all really wanna carry out this plan this is definitely the best place to do it."

"What do y'all think, man?" Tej asked as we stopped looking down at the empty space

"I think it's perfect," I said looking at these three

"So, What do they store here?" Brian asked leaving Tej looking at us with a huge smile

Now back at Tej's garage, we were ready to get our cars' final touches ready.

I looked under the hood and smiled "We're gonna have too much fun with this."

I began to work and Brian stared off into space before letting off a little smile.

"Hey, Jimmy." He said moving from underneath the floor lift

"Yeah. What up?" Jimmy replied

"We have any half-empty bottles of nitrous laying around?" Brian asked

"Sure, but I already loaded you for spray."

"No. I'm thinkin' we may need it for somethin' else cause our cars may get a little crowded, you know?" Brian said knocking on the passenger car door softly

Rome then began to smile as I smirked at the idea while Brian smiled at me before going back under the car to work.

"I'm so tired," I whined while sitting on the little low white railings that overlooked the ocean as the sun began to lower.

Brian then wrapped his arms around my waist as Rome took a bite of a crunchy taco wrap.

"Man, when you start eatin' so much?" Brian asked genuinely

"I was in jail, bruh. I know how shitty the grub is on the inside..." causing Me and Brian began to laugh as he continued his rant "...With the way things is shapin' up out here right now, it'll be a matter of time before I'm back in there or dead. So I'm tryin' to eat all I can while I can."

"Plus the doctor tell me I got a high metabolism," Rome concluded making me laugh

"Man, you remember us growing up? You know, playing football in the dirt...You know, gettin' in trouble, all the stupid things we did. When you got busted, you know, whether I was a cop or not, you know, if there was anything I could've done, I would've done it and I just want you to know that." Brian said to Rome

"Is that why you let Duch's brother go in L.A.?" Rome asked with a slight nod

"Yeah. I think that had a lot to do with it." Brian answered

"When I got busted, it wasn't your fault. It was all on me, Mr. Roman Pearce...wild-and-out crazy, man. No one can tell me nothin' ridin' solo." Rome admitted

"Yeah, well, not anymore," Brian said moving his arm from around my waist lifting his hand up for Rome to shake it.

I smiled at them as Rome dapped him up, "Not anymore, bro." Brian said clearing his conscience smiling

"Yeah, I actually like your crazy ass," I said to Rome

He laughed and said, "Yea, well your good for my boy."

I did nothing but smile in response as Brian wrapped his arm back around me.
