"Alright, let's give these boys a show" Tej yelled

"Alright, let's get the party started," I said right

The warehouse garage doors were then opened by some guys as all the monster trucks flooded out the building, running into the cop cars that were chasing us pushing them completely out of the way. Then at least a hundred cars moved out of the warehouse with us in the mix.

"Y'all let's break!" I said into the walkie

"Bet" Rome, Tej, and Suki replied

We had lost all of the police, finally, as we began to drive down the highway headed towards the keys. Enrique did nothing but laugh and cheer causing me to celebrate right along with him, because if he thinks all is well when it isn't he's in for a rude awakening.

"Good job, man" Enrique praised

"Hey, Tej. Thanks a lot. You're the clutch. I owe you one, big time." I said into the walkie

"Yeah, Brian, you really do owe me, man-..." Tej began to say before going silent as shuffling in the background began to occur before Tej said, "...Us. Suki says you owe us, aight?"

I did nothing but laugh as I said, "Yeah, I got it."

"Yo, Rome. You there, man? Come in" I said through the walkie as I broke off onto the sandy road towards the keys

"What's up, man?" He replied

"It looks like we got just one more trick left, huh?" I said laughing lowly

"My pleasure. Let's go, baby!" He replied

"Mr. O'Connor, it worked, baby! Blow and go. I'm all clear." Rome yelled after about two minutes of silence

All I could think about was, Diana. I just need her to hold on for a little longer, I was almost there.

Verone pulled me out of the car and I saw my mom and stepfather.

Verone then drug me over to them while saying, "All's well, ends well. This is a great price."

"What?" I asked confusingly

"We work with Carter. We figured since you don't want to stay with us, you could stay with him...you might find it more comfortable." Derrick replied laughing

"You are so lucky I'm tied up. I'd love to go over
there and wipe that damn smirk right off your face." I hissed angrily

My mother then smiled and said "All of your training finally paid off. Me and Derrick a new start in exchange for you."

I then laughed sarcastically and said, "What happened with my father? My brother and sister?"

She then rolled her eyes and said "The non-factors. Honey your dad's dead. Verone took care of that little problem for us...you see your father was too noble to get his hands dirty...wanted you and your siblings to be weak. So one day at the tracks Verone got some guys on the inside to make him go extinct. And your brother is one tough son of a bitch...too bad he was too loyal to your dad."

Tears began to pour down my face as I said "I fucking hate you,"

She laughed and began to mock me "Aww, Diana hates me. I'm so sad! Let me tell you something, you can't just ask for what you want in this world you have to take it! Your grandmother also has a big mouth she's lucky I didn't decide to take her out."

I tried to yank free and she said "And Verone's going to do us, one last favor, that low down ex-Fed you brought over to my house, he's dead. Along with his friend and anyone else who tries to come to your rescue."

She then threw a necklace at me while laughing and said, "I mean this is the least I could do. I've been holding on for this piece of crap for years."

I then looked at the silver cross necklace with little diamonds and asked, "What's this?"

"Your father gave one to each one of you for "protection". I wonder how much protection it's going to give you Diana because at the end of the day even he couldn't protect you. I mean isn't that pathetic?!"

"You better pray I never get the opportunity to put hurt in you like you did me because I promise I'll fucking make you suffer."

She then smirked and said "That's cute. You'll do well in the cartel."

I then heard an engine causing me to turn seeing it was Brian pulling up in the Daytona I was supposed to be driving causing me to yell, "Go, Brian! Please leave."

Verone then slapped me and said lowly, "Shut up!"

A/N: Let's just take a moment to soak up the information that Diana's mom just released. They were working with Verone the whole time and he killed Diana, Dom, Jakob, and Mia's dad.
