I took a sharp breath as I sat up and yelled, "Fuck, Rome! You're supposed to avoid my nerves!"

He then pulled the adrenaline-laced needle from my skin, "Man get yo ass up, we gotta go get homegirl, she's on that yacht with Verone and Monica."

I then held my chest that was covered with a bulletproof vest that Tej hooked us up with before Rome pulled me up and said, "Let's go get your girl."

We hopped in the Charger causing me to take off following after the boat.

"I thought you were dead, man," Rome said

"Yeah. Me too. Thanks for saving my ass, bro."

"What are you doin', Brian?" Rome asked loudly as I sped up following the yacht

"I don't know, trying to figure out how to get to that boat to save Diana."

"Boat. Car...Boat-You're not about to do what I think you're going to do?"

"Yeah, I think so. You got my back, bro?" I asked speeding down a dead-end dirt road

"Yeah," Rome replied

"Put on a seat belt," I said while grabbing for mines

"Show 'em some real Dukes of Hazzard shit." Rome joked

"We're gonna do this big. Hold on, Rome. Hold on." I urged

I accelerated seeing a ramp was up ahead causing Rome to yell, "Oh! Brian, you crazy, man! What the hell you doin' ?"

I then pulled off to the side driving up the ramp which sent us airborne towards the yacht

"Shit!" Rome yelled

We then crashed onto the top of the boat with force of the car crashing into the boat jolting me and Rome forward causing me to hit my head on the wheel.

As I held my head I winced before looking over as Rome said behind gritted teeth groaning, "My arm. I think I broke my arm, man."

Beginning to shake off my headache I heard footsteps causing me to reach into the glove compartment grabbing my gun.

Verone appeared and I then shot him in the shoulder twice causing him to fall back before I got out of the car and said "Rome, I'm going to go find Diana."

He then got out and followed behind as I went over and tried to open the door to the downstairs loft which was was locked.

I then stood back and shot the lock open running down the stairs seeing Diana laying in the corner with her back faced to the door crying.

I put the gun in my back pocket and ran over to her.

"Diana." I collapsed by her, pulling her into my arms

"Baby. Wake up. I'm here."

She did nothing but keep her eyes closed as I touched her pulse which was slowly receding.

"Diana. Please open your eyes."

She then slowly opened them turning and yelped, "Brian!"

I then held her up in my arms hugging her and said "Baby. I was so worried you scared the shit out of me."

More tears fell down her face causing me to wipe them as she began hitting my chest with her small fists.

"You were worried, I thought you died, you asshole-" She began to argue before I kissed her in the middle of her speech and said "I have a vest on, it just made me pass out from the pain. But once the coast was clear, Me and Rome's plan b went in action in case one of them did shoot either one of us."

She then rested her head against mines while asking, "What was Plan B?"

"Adrenaline," I replied laughing lowly

She laughed lowly and said, "You're fucking crazy?"

"It helped give me a boost to wake me up. I had to think of what they taught us for being in the field." I ranted as she nodded and hugged me, "Fuck it! I love you so much."

"I love you too and I will never leave you behind."

Then Monica appeared with a gun to Roman's head while saying, "Not so fast, this ends here."

Monica then said, "Get your ass up here princess."

I began slowly walking up the steps causing her to let Rome go as she grabbed me slamming the door closed leaving the guys in the den before kicking the knocked out brute in over in front of the door

"I should shoot you right now." She then hissed

She then looked over and saw Verone bleeding on the ground before she yelled, "You bitch."

As soon as she turned I punched her in the face causing her to move back stunned before I slid, grabbing her legs, slamming her to the floor.

The gun slid out of her hand and I ran over trying to grab it causing her to sweep my leg from under me causing me to fall and groan.

She then kicked me in the stomach and went for the gun causing me to rush up and tackle her into the side of a wall.

I then felt blood begin to leak down my face causing me to wipe it with her taking advantage of the situation, trying to throw a kick resulting in me grabbing her leg as I then took my other hand and pushed her to the floor.

She then winced causing me kick her in the face making her neck snap to the side as blood poured from her mouth.

She then got up and swayed trying to catch her balance then ran toward in a tackle position. And as she got closer to me, I used her momentum to push off of her and swing my legs around her neck and slam her down onto the ground again.

I then got up as she screamed out in pain from the impact the floor had on her back and I said "We're finished."

She got up again and I pulled my fist back colliding it with her face swiftly making her fall out cold and said "I said, we are finished."

I then grabbed the gun and saw the Feds chopper finally made it here, hearing the door bust down and the guys to appear from downstairs.

Brian then walked out with his gun pulled causing me to take the gun from his hand and head to where the Captain of the boat was with Brian following behind.

"Watch her," I said lowly to Rome

Turning the corner I then bursted through the door and said menacingly, "Turn this boat around right now"

He then looked back at me like I was crazy causing me to pull the gun on him cocking it back as I shouted, "Turn this fucking boat around, right now!"

Following my order, he then began to turn the boat around making his way back to the docks.

Brian then looked over to me and smiled and said "We're free."

I then smiled back and nodded before he pulled me close.

A/N: Monica really doesn't give up you've gotten beat up by Diana how many times now? But I can't wait for you all to know what's next to come in Brian and Diana's relationship!! 1 more chapter is left in Phase 1 and then we're doneeee.
