I held Diana in my arms as her eyes began to water at the fact she had to look at her brother from a distance.

"So what now, Dom?" Jakob scoffed while staring Dom down

"No one outruns their past...and yours just caught up to you," Dom concluded before closing the concrete gate to the cell Jakob had been trapped in

Diana quickly walked over to the cell placing her palm on the concrete in front of her while looking at Jakob.

"Hey." She said lowly as she began wiping her eyes

"You're so big." He said with a small smile causing her to laugh and me to look off to the side while laughing lowly

"You're old." She then rebutted causing him to nod as he said playfully, "39 has never looked better."

"He must be the boyfriend?" Jakob asked while darting his eyes over to me causing me to raise my eyebrows with a smile

"I haven't been the boyfriend in years, man," I replied with a short-fused chuckle causing him to nod

"This is my husband, Brian, Jake." Diana then said looking over at me with a smile

"How long have you guys been married?" He then asked

"Almost 9 years. But we've been together for over a decade." I answered causing him to nod quickly turning to wipe his eyes

"How old are you now, Diana?" Jakob asked with a facial expression that stated he felt embarrassed by not knowing

"Don't feel bad it was a time Mia and Dom didn't know either, but I'm 31." She replied with a small smile

"I'm so sorry, Diana." He then said with watery eyes

"You have nothing to be sorry about. All the shit that happened between us as siblings was caused by a chain reaction set off by the woman the birthed us." Diana rebutted causing Jakob to go silent knowing that was the harsh truth but relieved that his baby sister didn't hold anything against him

"Diana, if I would've known you where to find you or that you were alive...I just want you to know I would've done everything in my power to get you back." Jakob then said with a single tear falling from his eyes

"I believe you. But hey, we can't be stuck in the past. We have a lot of future ahead of us." Diana said with a smile placing her hand past the bars causing Jakob to hold it gently

"Guys?!" A familiar voice called causing us both to turn and see Savannah entering the building as well as the rest of the team gathering around to welcome her

"I'll talk to you later Jake," Diana said before letting go of her brother's hand, beginning to walk away before Jakob's voice stopped us both.

"I love you, sis." He said causing her to turn and smile, "I love you too, Jakob." She replied before we walked away meeting Savannah in the middle of the room

"I came as fast as I could, what's up?" She asked giving me a hug causing me to smile and say nothing

"Nice clubhouse," Han said eating his chips while he, Gisele, and Elle walked down the main entrance hallway towards everyone with jaws hitting the floor from the shock of the situation

"And surprise!" I said lowly to Savannah as everyone began to gather around Han and Gisele

"This is what we actually found in Tokyo guys." Mia then announced with a smile

Tej was the first person to wrap Han into a warm embrace as Savannah walked slowly over to her sister hugging her tightly.

"I could kick your ass, for years I thought you were dead," Savannah exclaimed as tears fell from her eyes

"Go!" I said lowly with a laugh pushing Brian toward Han and Gisele gently as Dom slowly made his way over as well

"So you got my postcard, huh?" Han asked nonchalantly while Dom looked at him for a long minute before pulling him into a warm hug

"Diana tells me you guys have a boy now?" Han said turning towards Brian as Dom let him go causing Brian to smile and nod

"I'm surprised you guys still haven't achieved a sports team." Gisele then said causing us to laugh

"Yeah, whatever, Brian can't even talk me into that one." I rebutted causing the team in Its entirety to look over toward me with a disapproving look

"Don't you all dare look at me like that," I said making sure to channel my inner Motherly voice

"I believe her." Leon then said with a laugh causing Suki to squint her eyes about to say something to start a confrontation between him and her.

Gisele did nothing but look over at him, "Then you must not know my sister here like you think you do, because he can talk her into running around the rings of Saturn and she'd take her happy ass right along with him as long as he's with her." She said with a laugh

"Okay, touché." I then said wrapping my arms around Brian's waist

"I'm just still trying to figure out...How are you two still alive?" Roman asked for the tenth time

"Well, after me and Gisele "died"...for a while we didn't know what to do. Tokyo became home despite the turmoil..." Han said before getting cut off by Roman, "Absolutely. But can you get to the part where the car exploded and you're still alive? Like, I'm trying to..." He trailed off

"Roman, can you...can you just be quiet for one minute?" Tej asked subtly

"Yeah, so we can get to the part where you shut the hell up." Suki then said causing me and Brian to laugh lowly

"Me and Mr. Nobody worked together. Back when he was a CIA operative running the drug trade in Central America. I was one of his best spies, and when he found out about Han and I...It's like he trusted him almost immediately leading to him offering us a job." Gisele sighed

"The day, Mr. Nobody came calling...All I knew was that we had to steal some tech from the home of a scientist couple. But as usual...Mr. Nobody didn't tell us everything. In fact, he left out the most important part." Han said turning toward Elle

"I was 11. My parents would take me to the movies on Saturdays if I tried hard in school during the week...I was so excited to go I forgot my raincoat, so I went back in. At first, I didn't see it, but by the time I looked out the window...Mom and Dad were gone." Elle said with shallow sadness and regret running through her words

"Turns out we weren't the only ones looking for this thing," Gisele said after

"Han and Gisele saved me. Wouldn't leave me behind. They knew I'd always be a target, so they taught me how to survive. We became a family." Elle said with watery eyes

"Always be a target"? Why?" Savannah asked

"Cause she is the key. Everybody's been looking for a thing. It was a person all along." Dom said

"My parents didn't want Project Aries to fall into the wrong hands, so they locked it with their own DNA, something we share," Elle replied

"And then, one day, Mr. Nobody gave me the heads-up that one of his best agents went rogue. So when Deckard Shaw came calling, we used it as cover." Han said while looking around at all of us

"But you got killed in a car crash, Han!" Rome said

"Mr. Nobody had a way of making things look real. Our deaths..." Han began to state before Gisele concluded his statement, "Became the best way to stay alive."

Alarms began to blare causing us all to rise to our feet as Tej and Ramsey made their way behind desks that held their tech.

"What's happening?" Tej asked

"It's some kind of hidden subroutine the system follows." Ramsey blurted while trying to figure something out

"We've been breached," I said while pulling my gun from its holster just as at least 50 men made their way into our hideout pointing heavy armory towards us causing me to slide it back into the holster with a huff

No possible move could be made. Any slight move couldn't even go undetected with the amount of men that now surrounded us.

"That's it, right there. Yeah, nobody moves...everybody lives." This blonde-haired guy announced as my brother emerged from the cell he was once in

"Jakob!" Mia said disappointedly

"I'm sorry, Mia and Diana," Jakob said while walking past us

"I was the rogue agent. Me." He said stopping in front of Dom

"Dom, you ever think about how Mr. Nobody found you? Think he just dropped out of the sky and chose you? I ran missions with Mr. Nobody out of this place for years." Jakob explained while putting emphasis' in his speech to taunt Dom

"I've been looking for that key for a long time, Dom. And you just handed her over...I told you. This is my world." Jakob announced walking toward the blonde guy

"Got it." He said while handing over the other half of Project Aries to Jakob as he sighed in relief

"Got a lot of guys here...You trust 'em?" Dom then asked keeping his eyes forward

"Trust this." Jakob jeered while holding up the missing piece of Project Aries

"You know the only good thing to come from Dad dying? If he hadn't, I'd have spent my entire life in your shadow...And now you're gonna spend the rest of yours living in mine." Jakob said before walking away causing him to remind me more and more of our Mother

"Only good thing about Dad dying... was he didn't have to watch what you became. You never deserved the Toretto name!" Dom said causing Jakob to hightail back toward where Dom stood

"You think you knew Dad, huh? What, 'cause you were his favorite? You don't know shit! Okay?" Jakob yelled while not even being an inch from Dom's face

"You want the truth?! Dad died 'cause he was trying to throw that race. He knew our Mother was trying to get him killed for money so she could move away with the guy she had an affair with for years. And in return when Diana would get old enough she could sell her to the wolves as a return payment for the money she received. 'Cause of how he felt about you, he had to ask me for help. How was I supposed to know that car was gonna blow? It was supposed to be a diversion to set back her plans of taking Diana so he could protect her and when we got home that day as you know, Diana and our piece of shit Mother was gone." Jakob said revealing the missing piece of information I'd always wondered

Jakob and my dad set the car to crash. Not explode, which was my Mother, Derrick, and Verone's doing.

"A good son would've said no. And a real brother would've come to me!" Dom rebutted

"Come to you? He made me promise you would never find out until it was over and Diana was safe. And through all of it, even Diana's disappearance, I kept that promise." Jakob replied before walking away as Dom looked at him with a more than angered expression causing the men to point their guns toward Dom

"The girl comes with me." Jakob then said causing me to look over toward Elle

"Jakob!" Dom yelled causing him to turn to the side slightly as Dom made an oath of his own, "I will stop you. And that's my promise."

Jakob did nothing but walk out causing two men to grab for Elle and Han to intervene resulting in the man tripping him and the other to point a gun at his head.

"Sue. Sue. Ah. Come on. Come on." The blonde man urged causing the man pointing a gun toward Han to move along while taking Elle

Roman, Gisele, Letty, and Mia then rushed to Han's side helping him as we all began to make subtle eye contact knowing we were about to rain hell down on the remaining men in this room.

"Down!" Dom yelled as we all took cover while Tej switched on the electric pull from the magnet we'd collected from Jakob's team earlier

The brutes gun's and gear began to violently pull away from them as they fell to the ground causing gas to hiss from their suits as they stood back up only to fall again groaning and coughing from the gas that emerged.

Dom then rose to his feet running to the two guys that remained standing tackling them and clearing a path for the rest of us

"Go! Go!" Letty yelled

"Come on! This way!" Savannah then yelled right after as Brian quickly grabbed my hand as we all ran out and down the hall towards a storm drain break

"Savannah, Gisele, Ramsey, Suki, Letty, Duch go!" Roman directed as we all climbed up a short ladder towards another tunnel beginning to run down as we all made it in

"Hurry your ass!" I said to Dom who stood on the ladder facing Letty

"I'm always here. Tell him!" Dom yelled while pointing to his heart before Brian let go of my hand gently while looking at me with soft eyes

"Diana, I love you and Meadow, Adeya, and Blake so much. But I have to protect you right now, so you can protect them later." Brian said quickly before kissing me as he has in the past when we were in life or death situations like it was going to be the last time.

"What?!" I said with a confused and stressed chuckle that masked the current anger he had put in me in a mere 10 seconds before he ran out of the tunnel with my brother causing me and Letty to run after them before they locked us out

"No!" Letty yelled while her fist now against the glass window of the door

We began to watch as more of the goons followed into the tunnel towards them both as they began to fight them off as hopeful tears ran down my face

"I'm going to fucking kill Brian!" I groaned wiping my eyes while trying to open this vault door that was sealed shut from the outside

There was no way I was getting through this door, alone at least.

Brian and Dom began to hold them off from the door we were behind as more and more brutes came through causing me to begin punching the door as I began to break down at the fact of them being well outmanned.

Dom and Brian took one last look at us both before with the help of each other pull the chains holding the gateway bridge to each tunnel down, causing it to collapse with them and the goons free falling to the water beneath as well with debris following right behind.

Me and Letty's screams of emotional pain were possibly numbing to another but to us, it was complete silence compared to the pain and rage our hearts were feeling.

The memories began to flood my mind as they have before when I thought I lost him and I'm not losing him or my brother today.

A/N: I finally updated y'all. 🤭 How'd you all like it? The family is completely restored and again with big problems! And once again, Dom and Brian have damn near gave Letty and Diana a heart attack. What do you guys think they're going to do to them when chance is given!?
