"Wait. What happened?" I heard Ramsey huff in annoyance

"We were almost there...They've cut the signal! I can't finish the hack!" She upbraided

"What do you mean?" Rome said

"Brian, they took out the tower! Wait...I'm seeing half a dozen cell towers between Sixth and State. Brian, if you can get to the top of any one of those buildings around there, we can reroute the signal manually and finish the job."

"I'm on it," I said beginning to make my way in the closest building

"Where are we headed, Tej?" I asked through my comm as I paced through the building with my gun up.

"There's a service elevator past the maintenance sector. It'll take you directly up to the repeater...Brian, you gotta hurry!" Tej urged

Then at least a dozen men crashed through the weak windows of this building, beginning to shoot at me.

I ducked off to the side taking cover and then let them shoot until they stopped suddenly. I then looked over at a car creeper with supplies laying on it and then thought for a second, before moving the supplies off quietly.

I then laid on my side placing my gun up properly before using my legs to push off of the wall the momentum being enough for me to roll out onto the walkway as I began shooting at these men.

I shot some of them making them fall as others began ducking away for cover. I began to roll to the other side of the building and then ducked lower as I rolled underneath a half-open barrier.

I then shot at the control panel making the rest of the door shut completely. Bullets then began to fly easily through the barrier and I looked off to the side seeing an escape route.

I then stopped seeing a huge staircase and then began to run up the steps, as I made it to the top I pushed the door open and the man from the mountain kicked my arm knocking my gun from my hands.

I then threw a swift punch, hitting him in the jaw and then threw another that he ducked under catching my arm, kneeing me in the stomach, pushing against the closed door before throwing his knees into my chest making the door caved in.

We flew down onto the hard steps as the door kept rolling down the steps with us on it, meanwhile, this guy and I continued to fight.

The caved-in door hit the stairs break off hardly before throwing us off of it, as we began to roll down the steps.

Once the rolling stopped I quickly got up, then the man grabbed me from behind before pushing me against an iron fence in a nearby room.

I quickly grabbed a utility box, before smashing it against his stomach and then pushed the cart that laid in front of him towards him as he grabbed the other side pushing it back.

As I got the best of him, he began to let me push him as he climbed up the wall before doing a flying ax kick, kicking me in the face, knocking me down.

I wiped blood from my nose quickly and then rose up as he threw a kick that I blocked. I then threw a few brisk punches, hitting him in the face.

I then threw a hook that he ducked under and then did another ax kick hitting me in the face, making me stagger back until he kicked me in the face again.

I fell onto the floor and then grabbed a wooden stick and then smashed it into his stomach as he grabbed me slamming me onto the floor, before punching me in the face.

I then looked over seeing a rope, pinwheel, and a snap hook.

Noticing they were together, I grabbed the snap hook and then snapped it onto a hook on his bulletproof vest, as he picked up a huge boulder.

I then kicked the steel pinwheel and he looked back briskly, then studied the situation, seeing the rope to the falling pinwheel was attached to him and began to slide dropping the boulder making me dive out the way as he dropped it, right beside my head.

He then began to slide towards the drop as he clawed into the ground, trying to keep himself from falling.

"Too slow!" I yelled taunting him as he fell down the long drop hitting the floor with a loud thud.

Clara then crawled on the ground, before swiftly turning and pulling a gun shooting me in the stomach, making me fall onto the ground as I gasped for air.

I reached for my stomach as I began to catch my breath, the vest had blocked the bullet but it knocked the wind out of me.

"All those years, I lived under your fucking shadow." She seethed still pointing the gun toward me.

"Hearing about how you were the golden child of the family...Oh, Diana's so strong, Diana is going to save the family-" She yelled

"I didn't want any of that shit!" I yelled cutting her lecture off before she kicked me in the side, sliding her gun in her back pocket.

"Well Diana isn't too strong now is she?!" She said with a smug grin across her face.

She then threw a kick, that merely missed me as I caught her foot pushing her down. I then got on top of her, beginning to punch her in the face.

I then felt a small knife slice slightly through my side, making me whimper in anguish before she kneed me on the same side hardly.

I rolled over onto my back and then she laughed "All these years I trained knowing you'd be a difficult fight...then right as I was about to strike, turns out you just had twin baby girls...with that beauty of a husband you have..."

I groaned in pain as she continued ranting "...Then I think about it, you're at your weakest point right now. I saw the footage, and I'd give it to you...a healthy Diana would've beat the shit out of those women...then I really could tell you were weak...still trying to recover." She thundered, then kicked me in the stomach again and snickered watching me in pain, as I began to cough up blood.

"I wanted to love you, but you wanted to hate me." I managed to get out

"Of course I'd fucking hate you!" She yelled kicking me again

"Everyone loves Duchess...you made my grandmother turn on me you selfish bitch." She shouted before straddling me and punching me in the face with each of her fists.

"And after I kill you, I'm going after your precious little daughters, your husband...everything that makes you whole. And that will be the end of the O'Connor family." She said with that evil grin plastered across her face.

I then reached around and grabbed my knife then stabbed her in the side of her stomach twisting and pulling it out.

She cried out in pain before pulling her gun to my head, making me rise, quickly grabbing her gun from her hand and then turn my arm to the side and slam my elbow into the side of her face, making her fall onto the floor.

She sprawled onto the floor and I pointed the gun down at her.
