"Well, at least we weren't the only ones, up to something we shouldn't have," Brian said with a smirk

"You mean we weren't the only ones to join the mile high club...?" I teased as me and him sat down on our loveseat.

They then awkwardly walked to us and said "We can explain!"

I laughed and said "Savannah! When I told you he was crushing on you I didn't mean for you to fuck him."

She started laughing and Rome said sarcastically "What about you two, y'all are up to no good too!"

"Boy, we're married!" I shot back

"I don't think you were married in Miami. Now we're you Duch?"

Brian laughed and I rebutted "I wasn't married then but I sure as hell was getting more play than your goofy ass."

He rolled his eyes and I mimicked him.

Savannah then said, "Look...we just don't want anyone to know about us right now."

"What do you mean us?" I asked moving my legs into Brian's lap.

Rome then wrapped his arm around her shoulder and said "Well this is my girl, ya boy caught it in the bag!"

I rolled my eyes and Brian teased "Well hopefully you can keep it in the bag, bro."

"I'm all for winging it, but this is crazy, man...We got mercenaries with some real heat on us..." Rome began to rant as the team stood on the hills overlooking Los Angeles.

I laughed and said, "I was damn near raised by mercenaries, they're not bad...unless they don't like you." I teased hoping to make him worry more.

Brian chuckled lowly as Rome began his speech again "I mean, I ain't scared or nothing, but...Man, I don't even have a gun!"

"Gun?... We got a whole city!" Dom countered putting this light in a new perspective.

"And we may have more than that. If they use God's Eye, It'll tap the cameras around town to find our location. Which means we could plant a virus. And then break-in when they access it." Tej suggested

"So you're talking about hacking my hacking device...It's brilliant." Ramsey praised

"Yeah, but there's one problem. The signal strength. We can't start a hack on them until they're within a two-mile range."

"That's really close," Letty said as I looked over

"Close as hell." Savannah huffed

"Close?! These guys are military, that means we have more than 15 Duchess' on our ass! If they're within two miles of us, we're already dead..." Rome began to rant "I don't know about y'all, but I didn't really plan on dying today." Rome concluded throwing his watch up looking at the time.

I rolled my eyes at Rome's statement and Brian then looked over and said "Only one way to stay alive...We play keep-away with Ramsey."

"What?" She yelped in surprise

"They can't hit us if we keep moving..." I said looking over at her

"And me and Diana take Shaw and Clara," Dom said beginning to walk up closer to the railing on the hill.

"So, basically, we're just gearing up for a big game of hot potato, huh?" Tej said

"Which car is the potato?" Ramsey asked making me laugh lowly

"Girl, you're the potato!" Rome shot back

Letty then followed Dom's path and I went over sitting on the hood of Brian's GT-R.

I'm just mentally preparing myself for the fact that not only will I probably have to kill Clara, but I may have to die with her.

Brian walked in between my legs and said "Why the stressed face?"

I sighed and said, "I'm not stressing, just coming to a conclusion with things."

"Alright, everyone. Break off. Be where ever the radio calls at 10 sharp. Gear up." Dom announced getting into his car.

I slipped into the passenger seat of Brian's car and I brought myself to smile.

"I want food," I said lowly

"From where, baby?" Brian asked looking over at me

"The Taco truck on the east side," I replied, laying my hand on the nape of his neck rubbing it softly.

He revved his engine and said in a silly voice "Alright. Well, that's where we shall go."

I laughed and softly pushed his head making him laugh.

The sun began to go down as me and Brian sat on the hood of his car eating tacos.

"You know this brings back memories," I said with a laugh, wiping the corners of my mouth with a napkin.

Brian laughed and said "Memories huh...? I remember you punching me in the face in this same exact spot."

"I punched you in the face so fucking hard...Man, I was pissed with you." I joked making him look over at me then laugh.

"But I deserved it." He said with a sigh

I walked between his legs and rested my arms on his shoulder. "Brian I have to talk to you."

He sat down his taco and said "About...?"

"The whole situation with Clara and me. I-"

He took a deep breath and cut me off "If it may possibly ruin our date...then I don't want to talk about it, at least not now."

I softly kissed his forehead and he abruptly got up taking our trash walking over to the trash can, as I got in the car.

I don't know how to bring this reality to him that these may be our last moments.

Our last I love you's, our final goodbye.

Brian got in the car and pulled off briskly headed towards an abandoned parking deck.

I know Clara too well, when she comes for me she's coming for blood. Although, I did nothing to that girl that envy in her is a bitch and she wants me and anyone close to me dead.

He pulled into a parking spot and parked, as my phone began to ring.

I picked up seeing it was Mia, she smiled through the camera and I smiled back seeing my little fat babies.

"Mia, listen to me...Somethings about to go down. And if you don't hear from me in 24 hours, I need you and everyone to take care of my babies." I pleaded

Her smile began to fade as she said "No, I can't do that, Diana. You have to come back to us all. Your babies need you and Brian."

"I need you and Brian to take care of them and let them know that I loved them so much. Please let them know I didn't abandon them." I said with tears beginning to run from my eyes as I forced a smile, seeing my babies stare off into space.

"Mommy loves you guys so much. I love you all so much." I whispered beginning to wipe my eyes.

"Diana. Let me talk to Brian." Mia said with tears threatening to spill from her eyes.

I handed the phone to Brian and got out of the car headed to the railing of the parking deck.

I have to say goodbye to my entire family and this possibility was eating me alive. I took a deep breath as I let my tears fall before I heard the car door slam shut.

I turned around and Brian said "What the hell Diana?! We had this fucking conversation already...you are going to make it through this!"

"Brian you don't know that!" I shot back beginning to wipe my eyes with my sleeves.

"Diana-" He began to contest

"No, Brian! Death doesn't have a fucking name on it...I-i just need you to listen to me right now." I contended grabbing his arm softly.

His eyes began to get red as tears filled them and I said "Brian if I don't make it through this, I want you to take Meadow and Adeya and move on."

"I can't do that. I won't." He said with tears flowing down his cheeks as he wrapped his arms around me.

"You have to. I need you to promise me." I said looking him in the eyes

"I can't make a promise I know I'm going to break." He cried

I shook my head in defeat and said "Make sure they don't forget me."

I then took off my dad's cross and wrapped it around his neck, as he broke down in my arms.

"Diana, I'm not saying goodbye because I'm not ready. I'll never be ready." He said letting go of my waist, sitting on the pavement covering his face with his palms.

I sat down next to him and ran my hand through his hair, before wrapping my arms around his huge body as he leaned over, beginning to cry against my chest.

"That race in Miami was the best day of my life..." I wept, holding him in my arms.

"...I love you so much," I concluded

"Please don't say that to me...it's like you're saying goodbye." He bawled

I kissed his lips softly and said "It's never goodbye."
