Chaos Has Come Again

FIXING STILES' JEEP OUTSIDE OF THE HOSPITAL, Aiden, Derek and Zella began talking to each other about the current events that took place tonight.

"So, you think he was just sleepwalking? Or is there something more to it?" Aiden asked, speaking to no one in general.

"In this town there's always something more," Derek said as he was about to put his jump starters back in his truck.

"I'm honestly surprised no one has even guessed what's happening to Stiles, because all the signs are literally right there in front of you, but I guess you're all in denial." Zella ranted, as she was fed up with people who have 'so called', dealt with supernatural things before and haven't figured out that Stiles has something seriously wrong with him, and it wasn't just him not getting enough sleep.

Aiden turned to her and said, "What if I've figured it out, what if I told you I know something more?"

"Well please, don't let me hinder you from what you're going to say next," Zella stated as she slightly tilted her head as she looked at Aiden.

Derek just shrugged his shoulders at Aiden that told him to 'keep talking'.

"I kind of overheard... Well, I listened in on Stiles talking to Scott. How he thinks he was the one who wrote that message in the Chemistry room."

Derek stood up straight after hearing Aiden speak, but Zella already knew where this conversation was going and just stood quietly waiting for Aiden to finish talking.

"The message telling Barrow to kill Kira." Aiden finished saying to the people in front of him.

"You think Stiles, skinny, defenseless, Stiles is the Nogitsune?" Derek told Aiden as he wasn't even believing the idea himself.

"A powerful, dark spirit?" Derek added.

"I'm not the only one thinking it. I'm just the only one saying it." Aiden said as he was sure.

"Thank you, thank you for stating that I mean Christ on a cracker, it has been in front of you this whole time." Zella exclaimed as she was waving her hands up in the air because someone finally said what she had already known.

"This thing wants to possess someone and chooses Stiles? Why not take someone bigger, stronger?" " Someone with a little more... power" Derek said as he trailed of on the last part of his sentence,as he began to think of something else.

"Look Derek, I know a lot more than what I've told you, that's why we needed to talk, but what I'm trying to say is I've known of Void for a very long time and believe me when I say the first person he was in, was in worse shape than Stiles. But also you guys may have muscles and can heal faster but Stiles is really smart like more than what you guys give him credit for, and knowing Void, Stiles is the perfect host to him." Zella explained to Derek and also Aiden

Derek was thinking about what Zella said and also thought about the power station where Barrow took Kira and then realized Stiles was there too that night, and as he was looking down at the jump starters that were in his hands he put them together and they sparked.

Knowing what Derek was putting together, Zella knew tomorrow would be a tiring day even if she didn't sleep.

At school, Kira was walking down the stairs and saw Scott, she tried to call out to him but he couldn't hear her so she was about to turn around and go to her next class when someone spoke up.

"He's a little preoccupied. But I can help you." Derek said as he now found the person he was looking for in the sea of teenagers, and right beside him was Zella.

Kira, being a little startled that Derek was at the school, asked, "Why would you want to help me?"

"Because I want you to tell us everything that happened at the power station with William Barrow." Derek said but soon followed with "Actually, I want you to show me" he corrected.

And Zella was standing ideally by just letting Derek talk, as she wanted him to tie everything together himself. Because she already knew enough.

Derek, Zella and now the added bonus of Kira, were at the power station looking for answers.

"It was around here, I think, but everything kind of looks the same now" Kira said as she was looking around.

But Derek's attention was focused on something else at the moment and Zella knew just what it was by the looks of it.

"What is that? Is that a baseball bat?" Kira questioned.

"It's Stiles's bat," Derek stated, being familiar with the object.

Then he walked up to the bat and tried to pull it off the electric box, he struggled a little but eventually came off with a little werewolf strength.

"It's magnetized," Derek stated as he looked up at Zella.

Then he placed the head of the bat to the ground where white marks were and the bat flew back to the electrical box because of the magnetization.

"Zella, I'ma need you to tell me everything you know about foxfire."

And Kira, knowing what it was, wanted to know why he came to that conclusion. And sensing Kira's curiosity he nodded his he to the sign behind her. Which read 'DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE'.

As they exited the power station, Zella decided to ask Kira some questions.

"Have you started using your katana yet?" Zella asked as she was curious if Kira's mother had finally told her daughter anything.

"Why would I have a katana? We don't really keep any kind of weapons in our house, if you don't count the kitchen knives." Kira said as she was now curious to why Zella would ask her that question specifically.

"It's all in due time, I'm just surprised your mother has kept what you are a secret for this long." Zella said, as she knew what she was doing. She was trying to get Kira to start questioning her mother so that her mission could finally move into place.

"About that, in the house when you were trying to check me and Scott for the nogitsune you knew what I was and that I was powerful, my question is how did you know?" Kira asked as they were now in Derek's truck.

"When your mother speaks to you about the subject I'll be there, then you can hear my input but until then just know you have a lot to learn." Zella said as she was just sitting in the passenger seat looking forward.

Derek, who heard the conversation knew he still had more questions that he had to ask Zella because like she said she knew more than she led on.

Kira, knowing she wasn't going to get anymore out of the woman, just sat back and let Derek drive.

At the hospital, Stiles was getting ready to go through the MRI scanner to look at his brain.

"You know what they're looking for, right?" Stiles asked Scott as the adults had just left out of the room to let the kids talk.

Scott didn't say anything because he knew what they were looking for so he just let Stiles say it instead cause he didn't want it to be true.

"It's called Frontotemporal Dementia. Areas of your brain start to shrink, it's what my mother had." Stiles explained to Scott who had tears in his eyes.

"It's the only form of dementia that can hit teenagers, and there's no cure." Stiles said as he trailed off.

Scott pulling himself together spoke up, "Stiles, if you have it we'll do something."

"I'll do something," he corrected as he was now looking up at his childhood best friend's face, someone who he thought of as his brother.

Stiles, knowing what he meant, shook his head a little, and Scott then hugged him as if he were saying 'everything's going to be alright'.

Zella, who now already explained to Derek what foxfire was and Kira listened to the conversation intensively, now pulled up to the hospital.

As Zella and Derek were about to walk into the entrance of the hospital, Kira hesitated and they both noticed.

"I don't know if I should go in," the kitsune stated and Derek, not comprehending yet, listened to her explain her reasoning.

"You're going to tell Scott that Barrow might have used foxfire created by me to jump start the nogitsune's power inside Stiles." Kira stated.

"Yeah," Derek said, still not comprehending what the young girl was saying.

"Basically, that I helped a dark spirit take control of his best friend." Kira finished saying.

Derek now comprehended what she was saying, "You should probably wait here." he said as he turned around and started walking into the hospital with Zella.

He also knew he was about to get laughed at by Zella because he didn't comprehend what Kira was telling him.

As if on cue, "You really thought she was going to come in the hospital and tell Scott who is her crush on might I add that she kick started an evil spirit in his best friends brain." Zella said as she was laughing.

Rolling his eyes, "At least I finally caught on to what she was saying so I didn't have to drag her in here." Derek said as they now entered the hospital.

Though Derek noticed Zella laughed a lot at him, mostly everyday since she had been here he was happy and wouldn't trade it for the world because he now had a friend his own age and wasn't a teenager needing help with control.

Stiles was now lying flat on his back getting ready for the machine to scan his brain.

"Okay, Stiles, this will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Now remember, try not to move." The Doctor said over the intercom in the MRI.

And Stiles adjusted himself just a little on the pillow which got the doctor to say, "Even just a little bit."

"Stiles you're going to hear that noise now, it's going to be a loud clanging kind of like a hammer hitting an anvil," The Doctor said, and then the noise started.

Out in the hallway, Scott, Zella and Derek were waiting for Stiles' test to finish.

"You know the stuff you were telling me about chemo signals earlier? It reminded me of the time you were teaching me to use anger to control the shift." Scott said as he was trying to keep his mind off of what his best friend was going through now.

"Now this I have to hear, I mean I know a lot about you guys as a summary but I don't know the personal details." Zella said as she had a smile on her face ready to hear about what Derek was like before she met him.

Chuckling a little Derek responded, "I think you ended up teaching me about that."

"So the student becomes the master, well Derek you really must have not been that good of a teacher." Zella said as she nudged him.

Scott, laughing at the interaction between the two and at what Zella said, spoke up to say, "You teaching me again?" he asked

"Think of it more like sharing a few trade secrets. You know I took Cora back to South America, right? It's where she spent most of her time after the fire. But that's not the only reason I left, I needed to talk to my mother." Derek told Scott.

"Your dead mother?" Scott asked not seeing how that was possible but let Derek continue talking.

"She told me something that changed my perspective on a lot of things. She said that my family didn't just live in Beacon Hills, they protected it. This town needs someone to protect it, someone like you." Derek finished saying to the young boy he had watched become an annoying beta and turn into a good leader and even better alpha.

"This might seem weird, but did your mother happen to turn into a giant wolf that had red glowing eyes?" Zella asked

Derek raising an eyebrow at the question answered, "Yeah, why?"

"Well, because the first day in Beacon Hills I got pulled into the astral dimension and saw you talking to a rather big wolf, but of course I let you have your privacy and left. I just didn't know that red-eyed wolf was your mother." Zella explained

"So do you always just go into someone else's head when they're in the astral dimension or something?" Derek asked as he noticed the recurring pattern.

"I don't do it on purpose, it just so happens to happen while I'm in Beacon Hills, I have no control over it." Zella told Derek, and Scott was just listening to what the two were discussing.

But as they were talking Scott finally realized what Stiles was doing, "He was trying to protect us," Scott said as he was standing up.

Gaining the two's attention he explained further, "Stiles was protecting us." he stated and Derek caught on and said, "From himself."

And with that the three ran to the roof of the hospital, "What are we looking for?" Derek asked

"I'm not sure, but I think Stiles wasn't just up here struggling with himself. I think he was struggling not to do something."

"Yeah, he was struggling with the nogitsune in his head, he was trying to fight it." Zella said as they were now in front of a gate to the electricity in the hospital.

Scott reached up on top of the gated area and felt a bag so he threw it down, which it revealed to be a lot of tools.

Back in the hospital with Stiles, his father just received news that his son did have the disease his wife had.

And Stiles on the other hand was fighting with whatever was going on inside his head and as he closed his eyes tight to feel some comfort he opened them again, but something felt off.

He was in the MRI room but he had on his clothes and the place seemed hazy.

But he wasn't alone in the room, "Have you figured out my riddle, yet?" the nogitsune asked Stiles as he was moving around the room.

"If you answer correctly, we might consider letting them go," the nogitsune said.

"Letting who go?" Stiles asked

"Your friends, your family, everyone who ever meant something to you. We're going to destroy all of them Stiles, one by one." the nogitsune said as he was looking at Stiles' dad and Melissa McCall talked to each other.

"Why?" Stiles asked as he was already in tears.

"Everyone has it, but no one can lose it, what is it?" the nogitsune asked

"I don't know," Stiles answered back.

The nogitsune asked yet again, "Everyone has it but no one can lose it, what is it?"

"I don't know," Stiles answered back.

This time the nogitsune practically growled back at Stiles as he began to remove it's old bandages, "EVERYONE HAS IT, BUT NO ONE CAN LOSE IT, WHAT IS IT?"

"WHAT IS IT?" the nogitsune kept on saying.

And Stiles was just trying to keep himself together while he was in tears.

Outside the hospital on the roof, Zella was feeling a pull and knew she was being dragged back into the astral dimension but she didn't know what for.

Her eyes went pitch black and she began to speak, but it didn't sound like her voice, it was rough and cold.

She kept repeating, "Everyone has it, but no one can lose it, what is it?"

And Scott looked at her and tried to figure out what was happening to her, so he looked at Derek for an explanation.

"What's happening to her?" Scott asked

"She's in the astral dimension, this is what she looks like but I haven't heard her speak with this voice, ever," Derek said as he was now concerned for Zella.

"What is it, Stiles?" Zella said in a whisper but the two wolves could hear it clear as day.

"A shadow," Zella answered

And after a few seconds of peace and quiet, Zella tilted her head ever so slightly and smirked and whispered one last thing before her eyes went back to their original green.

"He's here"

And like that Zella snapped back to her original state and looked at the two wolves

and that's when she knew Void had come to claim his host.

In the hospital, Stiles eyes snapped open but it wasn't Stiles no, it was Void in his host body and he was ready for chaos to come again.

The lights in the MRI machine flickered as Void looked around, and then all of the power went out in the hospital and then it came back on.

As the adults in the other room noticed the power surge they had looked around then Noah Stilinski brought his attention back to where his son was only to notice he was missing.

On the roof again, the electrical wiring sparked and a power line had come alive and went down the side of the hospital.

Stiles or should I say Void, was lacing his shoe laces as chaos set free outside of the hospital walls, when he heard the elevator ding then open.

He saw a woman in black a woman he had known a long time ago, Noshiko.

"You know me," she said.

Void nodded his — Stiles' head and walked towards her slowly.

"Then you remember that I won't be deterred by your choice of host, even if it's an innocent boy." she said calmly.

"You threatening us," Void asked with a small smirk on his lips.

And just like that 2 oni had appeared beside Noshiko, not only did Zella have control of the oni but when a foxtail was used by whomever gave their's up could have temporary control over the oni.

Void just raised his eyebrows.

"Now I'm threatening you," Noshiko said calmly.

"We're not really afraid of your little fireflies," he said and turned to leave.

But before he could, Noshiko told him, "If the oni can't defeat you,I know someone who will or should say something, I made a prayer a long time ago and something tells me it was answered."

I can't wait to write the later chapters they're going to get so good.
