The Final Fight

TIME WAS STILL MOVING IN SLOW MOTION TO THE PEOPLE AROUND. The oni extracted it's blade from her stomach and everyone watched her fall to the ground.

Void had seen what happened and was proud he thought he took out a great threat, and with that he left Oak Creek and took the oni with him.

Scott finally made it to the gate opening when he saw her fall on the ground not moving.

Isaac was in shock.

Allison hadn't moved from the ground where Zella pushed her, she watched the woman lay still not moving a single muscle.

Kira ran to her mother, Noshiko wrapped her arms around her daughter and watched the scene in front of her.

Chris Argent finally made it and looked for his daughter, he found her and saw she was all right. But then he looked right in front of her and saw the body that laid on the floor still as time passed by.

Scott finally opened the gate and ran towards her still body only for the unexpected to happen.

She gasped for air and sat straight up, and looked down at where the wound was supposed to be from the Oni's sword.

Then stood up and faced everyone.

"Well, luckily I'm here in time or dear Allison would be in my position, except she would have died." Zella said to the group as she looked at them.

All of them had shocked faces to say the least as they watched the women, who they thought had died in front of them, stand up and talk as if nothing happened to her a few seconds ago.

"Allison, for the love of the ancestors please watch your surroundings. I don't want to see you die, not until you're old and bridle." Zella said with a sincere smile painted on her face."

Allison didn't say anything, she just got off the ground and ran up to Zella and hugged her.

"Well isn't this a pleasant surprise, my first hug on earth. Don't I feel special." Zella said, hugging the teenage girl.

"We saw you die, how are you here?" Scott asked as he walked up to the seemingly fine woman.

"Well, it take a lot more than a Oni to kill me and this was all part of my plan, not the Allison almost dying part, the part where I fake my death in front Void so I can surprise attack, meaning I'm going to kill him when he doesn't see it coming." Zella informed everyone.

"Hello Chris, would you like to come hug your daughter and possibly when this is all over take her on a long vacation, I also suggest taking Isaac with you too." Zella suggested to the older man as he had just arrived.

"I'm thinking we all need a long vacation after this is over." Chris said, walking over to his daughter and hugging her.

"Thank God you're not dead, you still have a lot to teach me. No offense mother." Kira said.

"None taken, if anyone were to be a great teacher it would be her." Noshiko said to her daughter.

"Now, I know Lydia screamed my name and I think a rather broody wolf might be worried so I'm going to go check up on him, but you guys please try not to die. You literally haven't lived yet." Zella said to the group, and they all nodded their heads.

Before Zella could go, a rather quiet boy spoke up, "Thank you, I know I really don't talk to you that much or really know you for that matter, but thank you for saving her." Isaac said, as he had tears in his eyes.

Zella kindly smiled, "Maintenant, petit loup, pourquoi est-ce que je causerais autant de douleur à quelqu'un."

"And for those of you who don't know what that means, I said "Now little wolf, why would I cause anyone that much pain." and with that Zella disappeared.

Walking in the loft Zella was met with a big bone crushing hug.

"My ancestors Derek put me down, this is literally my second hug for the night and the first was not this hurtful it was rather delicate." Zella said, joking with the overgrown man.

"I heard her scream, I thought you died." Derek said as he put her down.

"Really you thought I would die like that, it's kind of offensive to be honest." Zella said walking to go sit on his couch, also noticing the twins were there too.

"Looks like everyone in this room has escaped the claws of death once or twice, now we just need Peter and we can have story time." Zella shared as she was looking at everyone.

"Only you would make a joke about dying, I don't know what I'd do without you." Derek said, coming to sit by her.

"If I'm being honest Derek, you probably wouldn't last a full day without something happening to you." Zella said truthfully.

"So where is he now?" Aiden asked.

"Don't fully know yet, but I also got another trick up my sleeve since I'm dealing with a trickster. And to fulfill that plan I need to go." Zella stated, getting off the couch.

"Where are you going?" Derek asked.

"Now that I can not share with you Derek, not just yet at least." and with that Zella exited the loft.

"She has her own mind doesn't she?" Ethan asked, seeing the woman leave without any explanation.

"She sure does," Derek said with a smile forming on his face.

At the Yukimura's residence, Kira, Stiles and her parents were talking.

Pouring tea in a cup, Noshiko passed it to Stiles.

"Here, it'll calm you." Noshiko said, to the sickly looking boy.

"What is it?" he questioned.

"Tea," Noshiko stated, plainly.

"What?" Like magic tea?" Stiles questioned, skeptically.

"No, chamomile tea. Drink it." Noshiko stated.

Walking into the room Ken stated, "He's not safe here."

"He's not safe anywhere." Noshiko countered back.

"But Allison killed one of them, she doesn't know how just yet she said that she was going to go back to her house and review her arrow heads to see the difference." Kira said to her parents. "I mean doesn't that mean something, she killed oni?" Kira asked.

"Is that even possible," Ken questioned his wife.

"I'm not sure how." Noshiko said, truthfully.

"But she did it, she killed one of them." Kira said.

"Yeah, and then one of them tried to kill her, and one technically killed Zella even if she is still alive." Stiles said, with guilt in his voice.

Pushing that aside Noshiko sat by the boy, "He made a powerful move by splitting the two of you."

Placing down a game piece on the board, Kira asked, "So what's our move?"

"At this point, you need a divine move." Ken stated.

"What's that?" Stiles asked, wanting the man to explain more.

Seeing where her husband was headed, Noshiko explained, "In the game of Go, it's what we call a truly inspired, or out-of-the-box move. The nogitsune has had sente, the advantage, until this point. What you need is a divine move in order to turn the game around."

"Okay, so is anyone feeling divinely inspired?" Stiles questioned.

"I know Zella is probably working up a plan as we speak.But mom, you said you trapped it in a glass jar, right?" Kira asked.

"It wasn't the jar that trapped it. It was where I buried it." Noshiko stated.

"The Nemeton," Stiles stated.

"A place I don't know too much about."

"Who does?" Kira asked.

"Deaton, Deaton does." Stiles stated simply.

Entering the apartment, Allison got straight to work looking at her arrowheads seeing what she did differently to cause the one of the Oni to die.

Walking in her room Chris got his daughter's attention. "I hope you know after all of this is over we are going to France for a while, just to get out of this town. I don't know how long we'll be there but we are leaving." he informed.

Taking it all in, Allison took a deep breath. "I understand, I mean I almost died tonight, if Zella hadn't saved me so I think a long vacation is just what I need." she said truthfully.

"Isaac is also coming with us seeing as you two have gotten awfully close to each other." Chris admitted, "tell me the truth, are you serious about him, like you were with Scott?" he asked.

Allison thought about it for a minute,"I know I like him and the feelings I'm having may not be as strong as Scott's used to be, but I would like to explore it and see where these feelings go." Allison admitted.

Nodding his head, Chris kissed his daughter's head and exited her room.

In Derek's loft, he was finishing burning out the wolfsbane out of the twins' bodies.

"Should be fine in a couple of hours, unless whoever shot you manages to find you again." Derek said, shutting his lighter.

Pushing himself off the window Aiden started walking out of the loft, "Lydia's with Scott. We need to go."

"Are you gonna try to convince her to go with you?" Derek asked, stopping the twins in their tracks.

"I'm gonna try and convince her to run and hide, like any sane person would do." Aiden said blatantly.

"And Danny?" Derek asked Ethan.

"Allison almost died, Zella did die and came back or whatever, Stiles is dying. What do you think?" Ethan stated.

"I think Danny won't believe you. And Lydia would never run and hide." Derek said, telling the twins the truth.

"Because of Stiles?" Aiden questioned.

"Because of Scott, you've been trying to find a way into his pack. Trying to earn his trust, trying to fight for him. You've had it wrong the whole time. You don't fight for a leader, you fight for a leader's cause." Derek said to the twins, as he finally understood Scott himself.

"What cause?" Aiden asked.

"Scott's always been about one thing. Saving his friends, he will do anything and everything to save the people he cares about. When there's no chance of winning, he keeps fighting. When all hope is lost he finds another way, and when he's beaten down, he stands up again. You want a place in his pack, you want redemption? Find another way to stand and fight" Derek preached to the twins.

"Hell, even Zella's not scared of Void and she was made to kill him, given the fact that multiple times she hasn't because of Scott, that says something about his leadership and she's not even in our pack." Derek said, and the twins went quiet.

Void was spreading the oni all around town, first the police station then the hospital. Full blown chaos was going around and Zella was going to stop it even if she didn't have her Oni.

She was creating something new, something nobody has ever done before. The Oni came from the Nemeton but she was creating her very own set of Shadow warriors.

She went to the clearing in the forest where she first set foot. She then looked up to the sky letting her eyes turn a pitch black.

Thunder came striking all around her, the wind picked up form in a circle. She then expanded her essence while the lightning struck all around her.

Shadows of darkness started splitting in three, taking shapes and forming into bodies.

Lightning stitching them together, darkness flowing through their veins.

And then it all stopped.

The lightning ceased, the winds calmed down.

And there stood three strong, fast and cunning women around their leader.

Zella smirked, her plan worked, she had made her own army.

They were faster than the oni, more deadly. They were just like her. The only thing was nobody else could control them but her.

"You know what we have in store for tonight, make sure no one dies. You see someone coming at them. You take their hit, understand?" Zella asked the warriors standing in front of her.

Reina, Laya and Aya all nodded their heads, silently with a cold look in their eyes.

"Good, tonight we fight till the death." Zella said, turning around, and the warriors followed.

At the clinic, Scott was with Deaton and Lydia as they said the only way to trap the nogitsune was in Derek's family triskelion box that Deaton made.

"Derek's got the triskele box. He's gonna meet us." Scott informed Deaton

Lydia then felt light headed hearing whispers.

"What's wrong?" Deaton asked.

"Something's happening, I had this sudden rushing feeling, like we're running out of time." Lydia informed Deaton and Scott.

Entering the clinic with Kira, Stiles said "Yeah, I kind of got that feeling, too."

Allison rushed into her dad's office.

"Dad! Dad! I figured it out." Allison said moving around the room, brushing the hair out of her face.

"What is it? What did you figure out?" Chris asked, seeing his daughter pace.

"So you know that gun deal you went to one of your first, when you saw the oni for the first time," Allison said.

"That wasn't one of my first, it was my first gun deal." Chris stated.

"The bullets you used, was it pure silver?" she asked.

"Yeah, but when I shoot it just broke the mask."

"It probably went straight through, but when I was expecting my arrowheads I remembered I only brought one of them that was silver that had your bullet encased in it. So when I shot the oni in it's chest it didn't just go through, it stayed in and that's what killed it. I'm sure of it" Allison informed her dad, as she had now stopped pacing around.

"We can kill them dad and this is how."

"Well, we better get going and tell the other's, we've got some oni's to kill. Go bring Isaac." Chris said, and Allison left his office to go get Isaac.

And with that they headed off into the night.

Arriving at the school, Scott was about to open the door. "Scott, hold on. I know that you're all thinking, if this works it might kill me, too. But even if it does, you have to go through with it. Stick with the plan, okay. I know Zella will, I know she's not going to hesitate, so neither will any of you, all right." Stiles spoke up to say.

"The plan is to save you, that's the plan I'm going with." Scott said entering the school.

As they entered a falsified reality Stiles said, "Well, this is definitely not part of the plan."

Outside of the school, Derek walked up with the triskelion box in his hand, wolfed out.

Void was sitting on the steps with two oni's behind him, hand clasped together.

"Did you bring us a present?" Void said sarcastically.

Setting the box on the ground, the twins walked up with shining electric blue eyes behind Derek. "I brought two," Derek said.

"I've heard of an Alpha pack, Derek, but not a pack of former Alphas. It's a little sad, isn't it?" Void taunted with a smirk on his face.

"I might not be an Alpha anymore, but I can still fight like one." And with that Derek growled.

And the Oni got into their fighting stance, which caused the twins to growl at them. the Oni and the pack of former Alpha's charged at each other.

They were fighting, Oni against Aiden.

Ethan against an Oni.

Derek against another oni.

"Where the hell are they?" Aiden yelled.

"The jeep's here, they have to be here somewhere." Ethan said.

"In the school," Derek shouted.

Taking care of their own Scott and Kira were fighting their own Oni's.

"You have to get on the box. Someone get them the box!" Derek shouted while fighting an oni.

Aiden looked toward the direction of the box and two oni's popped up beside it. But were quickly impaled by a long silver sword.

They disappeared quickly, "Looks like you guys could use some help," Zella stated, with a smirk on her face.

"You know what to do," she said to Reina, Laya and Aya.

And with that the trio of women started fighting other Oni's that appeared.

"You always have to make an entrance don't you?" Derek asked.

"You know it, now I created them to help you guys so don;t make them do all the work. Get up and fight." Zella said, walking up to Derek.

Derek chuckled and continued fighting.

"See you after?" Derek asked her.

"Maybe," Zella said and walked off, leaving Derek thinking but brushed it off and continued fighting oni's.

"I hate ninjas," Aiden yelled, running at the oni.

Aya nicked the oni with her sword.

Reina glides across the ground slicing the oni below making them fall to the ground.

Laya stabbed one in the chest, making it disappear.

As one was about to come at Derek, Chris Argent and his daughter Allison shoot their arrows.

Hitting them in the center of their chest and making them die, Isaac back flipped off the concrete hitting a superhero landing and watched the oni die before their eyes.

"What was that?" Ethan asked.

"Silver," Aya, Reina, Laya and Chris all said at the same time.

"Isaac the box, get the triskele box to Scott!" Derek told him

Isaac took off picking the box up and heading towards the school.

Figuring out that it was an allusion, Scott, Kira, Lydia and Stiles walked through it into the school.

But was ambushed by Void. "This was my game. You think you can beat me at my game?" Void questioned.

Outside, Chris was shooting his arrows and his last one got sliced out of the air by the oni, "Get the arrow it's the last one." he informed.

Reina saw Aiden about to go for the arrow but pushed him out of the way, and grabbed it herself then turned around and stabbed the oni in the chest. Making it die, but then looked down seeing the sword in her chest. She took it out and dropped it to the floor.

The wolves thought she would heal like Zella did so why wasn't she?

In the school at the same time, "Divine move, Divine move. You think you have any moves at all? You can kill the Oni. But me? Me? I'm a thousand years old. YOU CAN'T KILL ME!" Void yelled.

"But she can," Lydia said, pointing to the woman behind him.

"What?" Void said, suddenly feeling really cold like he had when she took his power in the loft.

"You thought I died didn't you, I mean that's what I wanted you to think." Zella said.

"No," Void said, taking a step back as he had turned to face her.

"I had a divine move you didn't even see coming. You still don't even see it coming." Zella said with a smirk coming on her face.

"You were sent by the ancestors weren't you?" Void questioned.

All Zella did was nod slowly, with a smirk and eyes so cold that the people around thought it would kill Void just with that.

At the same time Kira and Zella stabbed Void. Everyone was paying so much attention to Void reaction they didn't see Zella react the same way.

When Void got impaled Zella whispered one last thing in his ear, a language he hadn't heard in centuries. "Yu gonplei ste odon." Which translated to 'Your fight is over.'

And lightning struck outside, the lights inside the school flickered.

Zella saw him go down before her eyes.

She had her hand pressed against her stomach to hide the wound, she knew it was time.

Crumbling on the floor the nogitsune fly tried escaping but Isaac caught in the box at the end of the hall. And Void's shell body cracked and dropped to the floor disappearing in dust like he wasn't ever there.

Everyone was focused on Stiles now that they didn't see Zella abruptly leave to go look for the one person she really cared about on this earth.

Shakily grabbing her wound, she exited the school. Trying to find him in time.

Stiles had passed out on the floor, but then woke up and asked a question everyone thought the answer would be yes to. "We're alive, Are we all alive?" he asked.

Scott answered, "Yeah, we're okay."

But was quickly changed when Lydia felt it, like the night when she screamed her name in the tunnels. But it was clearer and now more permanent.

She turned around slowly and stood up.

Making her way outside she called out for him, "Derek? Derek!" Zella yelled, grabbing his attention.

He raced towards her seeing the black blood on her hands, he grabbed her as she was about to fall.

"B-br-bring me t-to-towards her, bring me towards R-re-reina," said shakily.

And he did, he set her beside her fallin warrior.

"Does it hurt you as much as it hurts me?" Reina asked her creator.

Coughing up black blood, Zella answered "Yeah," and she watched as her warriors started to disappear in front of her.

In pain she turned towards Derek, "I'm sorry, I didn't tell you" Zella said.

"No, you'll be alright. It's just a wound you'll heal like you did before." Derek said not only trying to convince her but also himself.

"No Der, not this time. I was connected to him now that he's gone I go too," Zella admitted with tears strolling down her cheek.

"Thank you for making me have my first laugh and for having the first party I ever went to and overall thank you for being my first and very best friend." Zella said, making more tears come down from her eyes.

"Tell Scott to never give up." Zella asked, looking Derek in the eyes.

"No, no you can tell him that yourself because you're staying here, I'll find Deaton and ask him to do something or I'll ask Noshiko." Derek pleaded, as the tears started to fall from his own eyes.

"Derek, you gotta let me go. Don't be afraid, my spirit will live on." Zella said, as she grabbed his hand.

"Ai gonplei ste odon. My fight is over, Derek." She told him.

Derek brought her up in his arms and hugged her and he wouldn't let go, "Thank you for being my friend, my best friend. Thank you for opening me up again" he said as he swayed with her in his arms.

Lydia made it out of the school, but was met with what she felt happening.

She walked down the steps and Zella saw her coming.

"Little banshee, I know you feel it and it's okay to let it out." Zella said.

Lydia nodded.

"Der-Derek, in y-your loft ther-" Zella began to say.

"What? There's what? Zella? Zella?" Derek asked, shaking her, but finally realized that yes her eyes were still open, but she was gone.

Then the wail of the banshee came, and it was louder than anything Lydia had ever screamed.

Zella's body disappeared into a black cloud of shadows and left nothing.

While Lydia screamed, Derek let his eyes turn an electric blue and joined in with a howl, all the pain he had felt over the years and now this, he finally let it all out.

And the others who came out of the school or who were already there could have sworn they saw the howl and the scream harmonize to create a shock in the air.
