THE DEEP ATTRACTION

Now playing
Complicated by Nivea

"I think about us, all day. Dream about you, always. Love ain't always complicated."

KAMARIA WOODS
MAY 12th, 2008.
MONDAY 9:18 pm

"BAE YOU KNOW this our song." Kamaria spoke softly. She was sitting in his lap—straddling it and facing towards him.

One arm was wrapped around his neck, and then with her free hand  she was using her pointer finger and her thumb to hold his chin—keeping his head facing towards her.

He nodded his head, with his eyes shifting all over her soft facial features. "Yeah?" he was trying not to smile. Everytime the song came on, she found him and would sing it to him. Singing her heart out actually.

He got butterflies everytime.

"I been in love with you completely, And ain't nobody else out there for me." She placed her palm on her chest shaking her while singing Take Me Away by keyshia cole.

Samir swore he could feel real chills going down his spine. He swallowed deeply, using his hands to knead into her hips. She found herself whining her hips in a circle as the hook played throughout her room.

"I'm so in love with you. No lie, I'm telling the truth.
I'm your woman. Now, baby, take me awayyyy." She started singing the chorus which was her favorite part, she loved Keyshia Cole so much. "See you in everything I do. That's why I'm so wrapped up in you."

"Move tayta, cause you trynna turn me on , on purpose." He muttered making her snicker.

"How am I trynna turn you on?" She questioned innocently, tilting her head to the side.

"Cause you sitting on my dick, and moving yo ass in a circle."  He stated flatly with the music still playing in the background to drown out their voices. "I know you can feel me getting hard, so stop trynna play." He was blunt about it.

"Oh my gosh Samir, stop talking so reckless." She giggled using her palm to cover his mouth.

"I'm jus sayin." He shrugged his shoulders once she removed her hand.

She reached down pulling his hands from her hips and locking her fingers with his, staring into his eyes. "I love you." She told him, leaning down to peck his lips.

He chased her lips, "Another one, please." He verbalized softly. When she brought herself to him again to give him a kiss, he slipped his tongue in her mouth.

She moaned lowly, quickly becoming aroused. Kissing always turned her on. She was just happy the music was playing because if it wasn't she would've probably been heard by her brothers.

He dropped his hands back to her hips, and she brought her hands to the sides of his face holding it in place. She leaned into him even more, going deeper into the kiss.

She hadn't even realized she was slowly grinding in his lap, but he did because he was using his hands to guide her. Their tongues tangled around each others, and she started sucking on his.

When she pulled back to catch her breath, he instantly starting trailing kisses from her jaw, down to her neck.

When he latched his lips on her neck, she hissed and her hand flew to the back of his head to hold it in place. That relieved the tickling sensation she felt.

Her eyes were fluttering open and shut from the amount of pleasure she was receiving all while Samir sucked on her neck sensually. She bit down on her bottom lip to refrain from making any noise.

Eventually, he started trailing down to her chest, and began sucking there too.

Her mouth fell open from the tingling sensation between her legs. "Ouu," she finally let out softly unable to hold it back anymore.

He swirled his tongue in circles, before he starting sucking again.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK !

Kamarias eyes were still closed, and she raised her eyebrows. Samir on the other hand, never stopped his task at hand.

"H-Huh?" She tried, but she just couldn't stop herself from stuttering. He wouldn't stop, and it felt so good, so it was very hard for her to form words in order to communicate with who ever was on the other side of the door.

"Is you busy? I need a favor." Kyree , her younger brother spoke from the other side of the white door.

Samir pulled away, and pecked the visible mark he had just made from all of her blood circulation flowing there. "Nah, I'm coming." She spoke while Samir fixed her tank top.

She brought one leg over him getting off his lap, "oh my gosh, I got a wedgie." She thought out loud, and pulled it out.

A grin grew on Samirs face trying not to laugh, and he leaned back resting on his elbows. He thought it was so cute how comfortable she was around him. Granted they had been together for over six months now, it was still very cute to him. It never got old and probably never would.

Pulling her door open, kyree was standing there with a binder in his hands, and a pencil. "You need help with homework?" She guessed and he shrugged.

"Kinda, but not like help—help." He started, and walked in once his sister stepped aside to let him through. "For my year book class, I'm supposed to interview someone, but I kinda procrastinated." He explained.

Kyree was actually a really smart child. He had skipped a grade and was now 13 in the ninth grade. He had good grades, and all his classes were exceptional.

"Since you and Samir got nominated for best couple for 2007 and 8, I thought I could do y'all." He explained, but this was new to them.

"When the fuck we got nominated for that shit. Ian heard nothing about that." Kamaria plopped on her bed next to Samir, whilst her younger brother took a seat at her desk chair turning the radio down some.

"It doesn't get announced until it's time to vote." He told her nodding slightly. "So will yall do it? Please. It'll be simple questions and if I don't get it done by first period tomorrow imma have a F in the class." He gulped.

Kamaria pouted, "Okay yeah, we'll do it." She agreed. It was harmless in her opinion, and she didn't want her brother failing anything if she could've prevented or helped it.

"Okay good, the only thing I need to remind y'all is keep y'all answers school friendly because it's a chance it may be in the year book if y'all win." He reminded them.

"Aight cool," Samir threw his arm over his eyes. He had a pillow over his crotch to hide the fact that he had an erection, and it was frustrating him.

"Okay, question one." Kyree cleared his throat, and both of them starting snickering at him in sync. Kyree looked up, his eyebrows furrowing. "What?"

"Nothing , come on first question." Kamaria politely urged him, bringing her hand up and under Samirs shirt to rub his stomach.

She had to touch him in some type of way. She craved skin to skin contact with the boy.

"Okay, starting off easy—who made the first move?" Kyree questioned.

Rolling her eyes, kamaria shifted in her spot comfortably. "Me, I kissed him." She replied.

"Who has the better sense of humor?"

"Mmcht tayta do. She funny as fuck, but sometimes I wanna knock her head loose—you be annoying." He glanced at her.

"Bitch your annoying. You always doing shit to annoy me." She defended herself.

"Okay. What's y'all favorite thing to do as a couple?"

Samir cleared his throat, "Fuck."

"Sss ahh! I was just playin!" He shouted when kamaria punched him on the side.

"He's lying, we don't do that." She denied, " I would probably say I like when we go places and just do things together and try new things during our one on one time." She answered.

"Yeah, and I like that cuddle shit." Samir admitted making kamaria smile.

"Aww man, you a sucker." Kyree shook his head while writing down what they each said. "Do you guys want kids, and if so how many." He blinked.

"Uhhh, yeah I want like a cool fifteen." Samir found himself yawning.

Kamaria did a mixture of a scoff and a laugh, "Samir be serious now. This not the time to be playing." She mushed his head, "I'm good with one, but realistically we'll probably have like three. If I'm being real. But it'll be after we settled and stuff."

"I still say fifteen." Samir shrugged.

"Okay." Kyree side eyed him. He didn't know about Kyaire but he was not trying to have fifteen nieces of nephews. Specially because he just knew he would be asked to babysit. "Lil bit what makes slim different from other people?"

Kamaria brought her nails up to her mouth, starting to bite on them slightly indicating she was thinking. "Samir may come off as if he doesn't care to other people, but with me he's very open to things, and pushes for communication. Also, I love that he gets out of his comfort zone every once in a while in order to please me because that shows how much he really cares about me."

The room fell silent as kyree wrote her answers and Samir stared at the side of her face. He was in literal and pure awe.

"Slim what makes lil bit different from other people?"

Samir sniffed, rubbing his nose slightly before answering, "Kamaria is full of determination and shit. I admire how she always pushes people to be their best self in order to help them succeed at life, because that shows that she's selfless and she got a big heart."

"Awww, that was so cute." Kamaria blushed grazing her hand over the crotch of his basketball shorts. "I love you." She leaned down and pecked his lips. It seemed as if she said it a hundred times a day over and over.

He never got tired of it though. He really loved affection from her, a lot.

"Y'all disgusting. What's one difference you two have between each other that y'all like."

"She a extrovert, and I'm a introvert." Samir answered.

"Yeah I like that too. He's more of the quiet type, but I love our difference in personalities. Like sometimes he's really shy, and that's super cute to me." She expressed making kyree nod.

"Okay last question. What's a physical trait that you love about the other, it can be anything." Kyree gripped his pencil.

"Umm, I love everything. His eyes, they are so pretty and brown in the sunlight. Ouu his smile, with his little cute dimples and his baby gap." Her face lit up as she thought about him. "And I just love, love, love his Addams apple."

Samir licked his lips, "Me too, like her skin tone—" he reached pulling her closer into him, "Ha' pretty ass smile, and ha' full lips. And the beauty mark on the side of her neck too. And this too..." he trailed off using his palm to cup in between her legs.

"Yeah I'm gone. Preciate y'all." Kyree dismissed himself. He couldn't bare to watch any longer.

Kamaria just laughed lowly, blushing at her boyfriends words and how he sounded when he spoke them, like the words were full of seduction. "You just trynna fuck me." She accused as his hand trailed up under her shirt to her stomach above where her leggings began.

"No I'm not." He denied slipping his hand into the waste band of them.

She exhaled a large breath closing her eyes as his fingers grazed the wet natural lubricant that had already soaked her underwear from when they were kissing.

"Boy, move your damn hand." She smacked his arm, and he paused as soon as his fingers came in contact with her clit.

"Mmcht, you must not love me no more." He muttered, shaking his head, and she giggled at his dramatics. Pulling his hand from out of her leggings, he sucked his fingers and she thumped his forehead with her fingers.

"Stop being nasty." She whispered. "Now, as I was saying before we got side tracked—" she referred to him sitting there and giving her a hickey.

"Yes ma, I got everything." He sighed irritably, already knowing what she was about to ask.

"Don't have no attitude with me, I'm just so exited for you." She cheesed, but he kept a straight face.

His heart skipped a beat, watching her be happy for him wasn't foreign but it was one of the aspects be loved about her the most. She loved to watch him grow.

"If you was really happy you would let me—noooo Samir." She dragged out, cutting him off and he immediately groaned, throwing his head back. He flipped onto his back and she just shrugged.

He would be okay.

THE NEXT DAY.

"IM FREAKING HOT." Kamaria muttered, feeling an attitude approaching her quickly. She hated the heat so much. She would deal with it when she had to , but right now it was pure torture.

"You should've took yo ass to school then." Savion shrugged his shoulders from right next to her.

"And why would I do that?" She retorted slickly, and tilting her head.

"I can't stand you no more, be a nerd again." He muttered, looking away from her.

"I am a nerd, just a cute one." She shrugged her shoulders, waving her hand in her face in attempt to cool her body off a little bit.

Kamaria had tuned out the names being called, because she was only there for two people—which were her brother and of course Samir.

Just her luck though, both of their last names were down in the alphabet. She was in a stadium full of people, and since it was Tropicana field—it was an outside type of venue.

She knew Kyaire wouldn't get called until towards the end since their name started with a W, and Samirs last name started with M.

"Why do all y'all do is bicker." Zayden shook his head at the two, also there to support his two bestfriends even though he didn't get the chance be up there like them. It was fine, and he wouldn't let that deter the happiness he had for them.

From what he heard, they had worked very very hard to be there today—especially Samir who thought he had no chance. So he was proud, and nothing would stop him from being there today.

"Because he's a hater. Don't be like him zay." Kamaria shook her head, softly clapping for who ever had just got called. She didn't know them, but everybody clapped for everybody who walked across the stage.

Savion just didn't respond to her, and she turned to Tamika who was conversing with her mother. "What are y'all talking about?" She was curious and bored.

Graduations were so boring to her. Unless the person she wanted to see was walking across the stage, she was bored. She didn't have any other form of entertainment. She would've tried to read but there was no hope in that with all the noise being made.

"Girl nothing, mind your business." Simone waved her off.

"I wanna talk too." Kamaria pouted.

She shifted her eyes to Samirs father, who was glaring at nothing in particular. Kamaria rarely seen him, it had been over two months since she seen him last. He was slowly but surely drifting away, and always no where to be found.

She saw him more when he was with her mother. Sometimes, she wondered how he felt about Samir and her because he never said anything. And other times, she felt like he was acting as if they weren't even together—even though they were very serious about each other.

Her dad was also there, for Kyaire but she hadnt spoke to him in a while. Their relationship was very rocky and had been for the last four months. They tried to reconcile, but everyone knew once kamaria checked out it was almost impossible to go back to the way things were.

It happened with Sarai, and even Samir . Samir of course had better luck, but nobody else had the privilege.

"We talking about the boys."  Tamika explained briefly. "Do you know why they don't wanna go on their grad trip? Like I get if it was one of them, but both don't." She continued.

Kamaria raised her eyebrows, and shook her head no. "No I don't." She spoke honestly because she didn't.

"Well, yeah we were just hoping there was no issue. That's really a only once in a lifetime thing, there can be other grad trips but not high school grad trips." Simone added.

"Yeah, I get what you mean." She nodded her head.

All three of their heads snapped up, upon hearing Samirs name being called realizing they hadn't been paying attention.  Everybody in the stadium clapped, but every one there for him stood to their feet clapping and screaming the loudest.

Kamaria couldn't help but laugh because he obviously looked nervous but he looked so adorable to her. They watched him shake the principal's, assistant principal and a few teachers hand in a line.

Once he finally got his diploma in his hands, kamaria felt a wave of emotions hit her like a ton of bricks.

Zayden started laughing as he clapped, "are you crying?" He questioned incredulously, he was trying not to laugh.

"Shut up zay !" She pushed his shoulder because that brought everyone's attention to her. She just couldn't help it knowing how hard the two worked this year to make sure this happened. It was times where he wanted to just give up, and she wouldn't let him. So knowing he had did it was like a breath of fresh air for both of them.

At this point she knew she would cry when her brother walked too. She had never been more proud in her entire life—knowing this school year had so many hurdles and hardships they had to over come. It almost felt like she was graduating with them too.

"This girl something else." Kyree shook his head.

After the ceremony ended, their group walked out a little earlier so they wouldn't get crowded with all the thousands of other people there. They were waiting out front, and kamaria couldn't wipe the smile off her face.

She was very proud of Samir, but Kyaire too. Kyaire wanted to drop out the moment he turned 16, so the fact that he pushed through was so bitter sweet to her.

"School is going to be so weird next year without our brothers." Kourtney pouted sadly. Saint had graduated too, so that's why she was there, but kamaria really wasn't focused on him.

"I know, it's so sad to even think about. Especially because we still gotta go back to school tomorrow. Why they couldn't graduate at the end of the school year." Kamaria was quickly becoming sad at the reminder.

"It was so cute when you started crying." Kourtney giggled, using her thumb to wipe her face.

"No that's not funny girl, I never felt so emotional like that before." Kamaria replied to her bestfriend.

Sarai was standing off to the side next her her dad. Sometimes, she hated that she ruined her relationship with her sister because she wished she could be apart of their conversations. Then it was times she hated her sister for always getting what she wanted. It ranged from the things her father got her, all the way down to Samir.

She wanted him first. Everything always got took, and when zion died she was a wreck. Especially because in a way he had gotten took from her.l because of kamaria just like everything else.

She had a feeling Samir did something , and she didn't know what to be mad at more. The fact that they ruled his death as drug related and tossed the case, or the fact that Samir would do something as far as that for kamaria.

"That is cute," Kourtney claimed.

"Whatever you say—There they go!" Tamikas voice cut her off seeing the two walking towards them since families and graduates were shuffling out of the stadium.

Both of them had straight faces holding their diplomas in the hands, and Simone and Tamika took them to look at and admire them.

"Can we go home now? I'm ready to take this off." Samir spoke first referring to the gown. Kyaire agreed with him making them all laugh. They could easily slip them off but they were so complicating.

Samir wrapped his arm around his mother, keeping his eyes locked on kamaria. He hadn't seen her all day, this was his first time, and his heart swelled at the fact that he was on the front of her shirt. Her brother was on the back since she figured she needed to support them equally.

"What's wrong wit you?" He asked noticing the dried tears on her face, and Tamika took that as a sign to move away from him. Kamaria swallowed as he moved towards her giving her the next hug. "You been crying?"

Everybody nodded except her. "Man let me tell you, that girl was boohoo crying when y'all walked the stage. I can't make dis up." Zayden shook his head.

"Zayden shut up, puhlease!" She buried her face in Samirs chest from embarrassment.

"Aww dats cute." Kyaire found himself laughing because that didn't sound like his sister at all. He swore he had only seen her cry a handful of times.

A deep chuckled bellowed through Samir, and she blushed.

Kyaire went around, hugging everybody including his father and sister since they were very quiet. Like kamaria they were rocky now but at least they had came to see him so he would give props and remain cordial for the day.

After Samir gave kamaria a series of kisses around her face, he hugged his brother, his dad and everybody else as they congratulated him.

"Lil bit and Samir come take a picture." Tamika urged holding her camera.

"Noooo," kamaria dragged out. She was camera shy, and there were so many people around.

"Girl you have to , this is memories and milestones!" She playfully shouted , causing kamaria to sigh since she would would want the pictures in the future.

They moved to the side, and kamaria wrapped her arm around his torso while he wrapped his arm around her neck, and both of them smiled. Tamika took at least ten pictures and even when they pulled apart she took some off guards.

"Where Zariah?" Kourtney asked towards Kyaire.

"Who's Zariah?" Sarai spoke up finally. She was curious as to many things, but hearing a new girl name made her jealous. Did they have a new friend?

"My girlfriend." Kyaire answered easily. They had been official for around a month and a half now. After Simone met her , it was a done deal. She got along with everybody, and she brought a new personality. They liked her tomboyish style, and she was really sweet. "And she with her family, since y'all know she a senior so she graduated too." He shrugged.

They infact did because they clapped for her when she walked.

"Well come on then, I'm trynna eat." Savion spoke up because they had been there all day. The two didn't want a party so they opted to a dinner."

"For real, ian ate since this morning before we got here," Kyaire agreed, but Samir stayed silent with his arms wrapped around his girlfriend.

He was just happy it was over.

A LITTLE LATER.

"LET ME TRY some." Kamaria looked over at Samirs plate as they sat in the Cheesecake Factory. Half of them didn't want to go there but Samir and Kyaire collectively chose that place and what they said; went.

Kamaria and Samir had ordered two entirely different things, but she wanted some of his because it looked good once he got it.

There were several tables pushed up together to fit everyone including ; kamaria, Samir, Kyaire, zayden, Kourtney, Zariah, kyree, Tamika, Aaron, Dexter, Simone, Sarai, Saint and Savion.

It was a lot of them.

He used his fork to twirl in his Cajun Jambalaya Pasta, then held it up. "Here," he mumbled lowly watching her eat it.

"Oh my gosh, that's spicy." She muttered picking her cup up after she swallowed the food and he nodded in agreement.

"Mmcht, bae feed me like they doin." Zayden looked at Kourtney and she started laughing.

"You so aggravating." She shook her head at him.

Samir tapped on kamarias shoulder. "Can i get one?" He questioned, referring to her hush puppies on the side and she nodded her head. They were basically sharing food at this point.

She was mad they didn't have tater tots though.

"So k3, you going to college?" Sarai questioned out loud trying to stop her self from focusing on her sister. Watching them made her sad, their public affection was her reality check and she hated it.

Kyaire nodded his head slightly, "I'm going to community college though. Only cause ion really have a career path right now." He admitted. He never thought it would get this far, So he didn't know what he wanted to do.

"What about you slim?" Dexter questioned with his eyes piercing into Samir.

Samirs eyes snapped from kamaria to her dad. He licked his bottom lip since it had sauce on it and nodded. "I'm taking a gap year though." He added.

Aaron, his father furrowed his eyebrows since he didn't know that. He was becoming less of a factor to his sons life day by day . "Why you taking a gap year?" He questioned him.

"So I can work...and I gotta do another class." He answered.

"You sure you not doing it because of a relationship—and I don't want that getting in the way of your education." He stated.

"Are you trying to blame my daughter?" Simone questioned her ex, and kamaria kept her eyes on him because she was wondering the same thing.

Aaron remained quiet.

"Is my daughter the reason you choosing not to go to college right now?" Dexter questioned. He doubted it, he didnt think they were that serious.

The table grew eerily quiet before Samir decided to answer, "No...I just said I have to finish another class. And if y'all trynna imply she holding me back you can miss me wit dat." He was talking to them as if they were stupid which was how he felt.

Tamika cleared her throat knowing if they continued Samir would get very disrespectful, "zayden what do you plan on doing?" She asked removing the attention off her son.

"Imma do my senior year next year, so I can get my diploma." He answered keeping his attention on his food. Of course kamaria convinced him, but he knew that later in life it would be better for him to be able to have a diploma and not a GED.

"That's really good. So your gonna be graduating next year with Kourtney, and lil bit." She said and zayden nodded although he hadn't even thought about it that way.

"Well, I'm proud of all of y'all for trying to make something of yourselves." Simone nodded her head moving her braid behind her ear.

Kamaria just smiled, feeling like she was their mother, because she was so proud of them too. More than they would ever understand

Can I just say how freaking proud I am of them all the shit they been through in so little time😭
