Delaney cheered as she sank the black eight ball into the pocket on the pool table. She had once again successfully made half the guys in the bar believe she was a sucky pool player to get her and the boys more money. Dean probably wouldn't be too happy with the fact she had possibly put herself in a dangerous situation because a lot of the guys she heckled were large and burly. They could squeeze her head in one massive hand and they didn't look like the type to take too kindly to being heckled. However, Dean and Sam were back at the motel room sleeping and Dean was the one who taught her how to play in the first place. Might as well put her useless skill to at least someย use.

"That'll be two hundred, big man," Delaney taunted, holding her hand out for the money that was rightfully hers. Normally she wasn't this much like... well, Dean... but the couple of beers she had gave her enough liquid confidence. She wasn't drunk, but she wasn't sober either. The buzz felt nice and numbed her perpetually growing anxiety and depression over the fact Dean and Sam weren't exactly her biggest fan at the moment. She knew that the boys still loved her and would be there for her no matter, but that didn't mean they weren't allowed to be royally pissed at her for everything that's happened as of late.

"No way," the large man barked, his breath smelling purely of alcohol as it hit Delaney in the face. "You played me, little girl. I demand a rematch."

Delaney scoffed out a laugh and leant on her pool stick. "Oh, losing to a girl once wasn't enough for you? We can make it double or nothing if you're really confident in yourself."

The large man growled deep in his throat and stepped closer to Delaney who didn't even flinch and kept her stance against the wall behind her. "You've got a big mouth for such a small girl."

Delaney smirked at the man before her and shrugged. "Can't handle the heat then get out of the bar."

"Della!"ย

Delaney and the large man before her both turned to see Dean and Sam rush into the bar, noticing the close proximity between her and the man before her. To them it probably looked like she was in trouble since the man was so much taller than Delaney, even taller than both of her brothers. She could handle her own, thank you very much. Though, it wasย kind of endearing to see the protective side of Dean and Sam once in a while.

"How about you back up off the girl, man?" Dean ordered, tugging the man back by his shoulder and standing protectively in front of Delaney. "Think you look tough when you're harassing a girl?"

"She heckled me!" the large man defended, pointing a thick finger in Delaney's direction. "I deserve a rematch."

Sam's nose scrunched up as the man's stank breath hit his nostrils. "More like you need to take a break from the drinks, man."

Delaney watched the boys try and calm the larger man down so he would leave their baby sister alone. She had clearly injured the man's pride by making him lose to her and his asshole persona only made Delaney feel even less for him. Maybe she would have felt bad if he wasn't such a sore loser over a game of pool. If he was so ready to offer up two hundred dollars to play her just because she was a girl, then it only meant he really needed to be brought down a peg or two. Delaney was quite proud that she was the one to do it.

Movement in the corner of her eye cause Delaney to glance over to her right where there was a smaller bar in the back. There sat on one of the bar stools in his black jacket and pretty smile glory was Randy. She hadn't seen him since they separated after Dean and Sam found out about what she had been doing with Randy. The sight of the demon boy suddenly made Delaney feel like she hadn't had a single drop of the multiple beers she had as she quickly pushed past the boys to get over to her demon boyfriend.

"Randy," Delaney breathed once she was stood in front of him, resisting the urge to lunge at him since Dean and Sam were in the same room as them. She felt her heart flutter when Randy's brown eyes fell on her and his lips tugged up into a smile that nearly made her melt. It was still such an odd feeling to have these schoolgirl crush feelings towards Randy since he was a demon. Of all the people she could have chosen to find interest in, it would be a demon.

"Bold of you to show up anywhere around us," Dean said, walking over to the couple who tore their longing gazes off each other and over to the eldest Winchester.

Randy's eyes darkened slightly when they rested on Dean and Sam. The animosity that quickly filled the air around them was nearly suffocating. "I just have some info and then I'm gone."

"What is it?" Delaney asked, silently hoping it was news on Lilith.ย

Communication between Delaney and Randy had been little to none because Randy had been so focused on finding Lilith for Delaney. Plus, he really wanted her to try and work things out between her and the boys. It would be hard to do that if the reason they were so upset with her was still texting her constantly.

"I'm hearing a few whispers."

"Ooh, great. Demon whisperers. That's reliable," Dean retorted.

"Dean," Delaney scolded, elbowing him in the side to keep his mouth shut. He only offered her an eye roll in response and plopped into the bar stool Delaney stood next to so he could himself a scotch.

Randy sighed and just decided to focus on Delaney since she was the only one that would actually listen to him anyway. "A girl named Anna Milton escaped from a locked ward yesterday. The demons seem pretty keen on finding her. Apparently, some real heavy hitters turned out for the Easter egg hunt."

Delaney crossed her arms and tilted her head in confusion. What would demons want with a girl in a mental ward? "Why? Who is she?"

"No idea, but I'm thinking that she's important because the order is to capture her alive. I just figured that whatever the deal is you might wanna find this girl before the demons do."

Delaney frowned and her eyes bounced between Sam and Dean who both looked like they would rather do anything else than follow Randy's word. Even though the case did seem rather odd if the demons wanted this girl alive. Usually they would just torture and kill, but the fact they wanted this girl still breathing must mean something big. "Maybe we should check it out, guys."

"Actually, we're working a case, but thanks," Sam lied through his teeth, smiling falsely at Randy.

"Um, we've got leads," Dean chimed in, following Sam on his fake case story. "Big leads."

"Sounds dangerous," Randy played along, knowing fully well that the boys were lying.

"Yeah, well, it sure ain't goose chasing after some chick who for all we know doesn't even exist just because you say she's important."

Randy narrowed his eyes at Dean and Delaney noticed the way his fingers flexed slightly as if he wanted to curl them into fists. It was Randy's tell that he was growing increasingly annoyed and that whoever annoyed him should tread lightly. Though, Delaney knew that Randy wouldn't dare to touch Dean or Sam no matter how much they pissed him off. It was why Randy had fought so hard against punching Dean in the face back at the abandoned warehouse when Dean and Sam found them. "I'm just delivering the news, Dean. You guys can do whatever you want with it. Far as I'm concerned, I told you and I'm done."

Delaney quickly grabbed Randy's wrist and tugged him back before he could take more than two steps away. "Wait, wait, wait, this - this hospital Anna escaped from... does it have a name?"

"Yeah, I have all the information here," Randy replied, digging in his jacket pocket for a folded up paper filled with Randy's handwriting. "Whatever you need to know is there. Good luck."

Delaney puffed out her cheeks as Randy walked out of the bar and threw her head back with a heavy exhale. She knew she should run after him and make sure they really did have everything so Delaney shoved the information into Sam's chest and ran out after Randy. However, when her feet hit the pavement outside Randy was nowhere to be seen on either side of the sidewalk even though he had just walked out seconds before she did.

"Okay, seriously, I know you're a demon, but how the hell - " Delaney's complaint was cut off when she was tugged into the alleyway on the side of the bar. She went to let out a scream but it quickly died in her throat when she saw it was only Randy.

"Sorry," Randy chuckled softly, amusement dancing in his eyes at the sight of his frightened girlfriend. "Didn't mean to scare you, princess."

Delaney giggled and felt her cheeks heat up a bit when Randy tucked a piece of curly brown hair behind her ear. "Do you pull all girls into alleyways to talk to them?"

Randy smiled fondly down at Delaney and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Only the beautiful ones," he mumbled, pressing his lips to hers.

Delaney felt her body relax in Randy's hold and wrapped her arms around Randy's neck, slowly pulling away after a minute. "I'm sorry about the boys back there. They're still not really your biggest fans at the moment."

"I get it, Lanes," Randy assured, rubbing Delaney's sides gently. "They didn't want you using your abilities and I'm the reason you know how to use them. I did hear through the grapevines that you exorcised Samhain. I'm proud of you."

"I'm surprised I even did it, honestly. It used a lot of my energy to get rid of him," Delaney admitted, chewing on her lower lip. "Dean and Sam saw the whole thing. God, the looks on their faces..."

Randy tapped Delaney's chin when it dropped, making her look back up at him. "Hey, they'll come around, princess. I promise. It'll all work out between you three. It's no secret that Dean and Sam couldn't stay angry with you for too long. You're their weakness for a reason."

Delaney let out a breath and nodded, knowing Randy was right. The boys typically never stayed mad at her for too long no matter what she did. This just happened to be the longest because of how severe the situation was to them. She had never lied to them before between the demon blood in her system and the exorcising demons. Things did seem to be a bit better between the siblings the more time went on and the more time they spent together. "You're right. You always know what to say, Ran."

"I'm always right," Randy mused and the look in his eyes changed slightly. It was a mix between the fondness he usually looked down at her with and deep thought.ย

"Randy, what?"ย

Randy licked his lips and the emotion on his face was almost dizzying because it just not the type of look you'd see a demon use. It was too soft and loving instead of the usual hard and arrogant expressions demons tend to wear. "I love you, Lanes."

Delaney felt her heart freeze in her chest at the words. The two had never really exchanged those three words with each other. Not seriously anyways. Now here stood Randy with this loving glint in his eyes that made Delaney want to melt into a puddle at his feet. If Randy's hands hadn't been on her waist and she wasn't pressed up against the brick wall behind her, Delaney probably would have fallen over.ย

The real question was: did Delaney love him back? Part of her felt guilty for even dating Randy because she felt like it was a cheat on Will. She knew that Will would have wanted her to move on and be happy. Not sit there and keep herself in the past because that wasn't healthy for her. Randy did make her feel all the butterflies in her stomach. He knew how to make her laugh or smile effortlessly and had been there to pick her back up whenever she was close to giving up. It was almost like it was Will all over again.ย

The fact he was a demon was really the only con Delaney could think of besides Dean and Sam not liking him very much. Something that Delaney could probably change if she had the three boys sit down and work out their issues. She knew the boys weren't happy with him because Randy taught Delaney how to use her ability and also told her too late she could have saved Dean from damnation. Though, if Delaney could have found it in her heart to forgive Randy, then maybe the boys could, too.

"I'm sorry. You don't have to say it back. I - I just... it came out and I know it's probably too soon because - "

"Randy," Delaney cut across him and leant up on her tiptoes, pressing a soft kiss to Randy's lips. The fluttering of her heart and how the world around them suddenly drifted away was the only answer Delaney needed. "I love you, too."

Randy's face instantly brightened up at Delaney's response and he lifted her up, spinning her around in a circle which earned him a small squeal from Delaney. He laughed happily and brought Delaney's back down onto his lips, enjoying the moment for a bit longer. It was selfish of him because Delaney and the boys needed to go find Anna, but to hell with it. He didn't care. he just wanted this one moment with her since they hadn't been alone in a while. He missed her, he really did.

Delaney giggled and slowly pulled away from Randy as he set her back down on her feet gently. "I should probably get back to Dean and Sam before they storm out here and hunt me down."

Randy groaned and allowed Delaney to step back from him, suddenly missing her warmth as the cold breeze blew by. "Way to ruin the moment, princess."

"It's what I do," Delaney teased and placed a kiss of Randy's cheek. "I'll call you when we find Anna. Promise."

"I'll be waiting," Randy replied, digging in his pocket for a moment before he retrieved a small diamond tennis bracelet. "I, uh, missed your birthday since you were with Dean and Sam, but I got you this. I promise I didn't steal it or anything because you wouldn't approve. I actually bought it with real money."

Delaney gasped softly as Randy placed the bracelet over her wrist, running her fingers over it gently. "It's beautiful."ย

"Just like you," Randy whispered and stroked Delaney's cheek. "I love you."

Delaney smiled at Randy and bit her lower lip. "I love you, too." She breathed as Randy pressed a small kiss to her forehead. He offered her one last fond smile before he made his way back towards the exit of the alleyway on the other side. He sent her a wink over his shoulder as he made his way around the corner of the building.ย

Delaney fell back against the brick wall behind her and dropped her head back against the brick wall, letting out a content sigh.ย

"Well, Anna Milton is real," Delaney announced from her seat in the front next to Dean, locking her phone and tossing it onto the seat next to her. She had just spent the past ten minutes on the phone with the head of the mental ward Randy gave her the name of to find out about Anna. Turns out Randy was right about this one and Anna was a real girl who actually broke out of the ward.ย

"Don't mean the case is real," Dean countered and he had a scowl on his face, clearly not wanting to do this case. "This hospital is a three day drive, Delaney."

"We've drove further for less," Delaney reminded, narrowing her eyes when Dean merely shook his head at her. "You got something to say, then say it."

Dean scoffed softly and turned his attention to his baby sister. "Oh, I'm saying it, this sucks."

Delaney rolled her eyes and stared out the window as the trees zoomed by as Dean sped down the empty highway, the rain battering down on the Impala. "You're not pissed we're going after the girl. You're pissed Randy gave us the tip."

"Right, cause as far as you're concerned the hell-douche is practically family. Yeah, Della, something major must have happened while I was downstairs because I come back and you've left Sam's side and are suddenly BFF with a demon?"

"I told you guys that Randy helped me go after Lilith," Delaney defended, absentmindedly playing with the bracelet on her wrist that thankfully neither of the boys really noticed. She usually wore little bracelets and stuff so they probably thought it was something she already owned. Delaney was too tired to explain the origin of the tennis bracelet in the first place and her leather jacket mostly hid the jewelry anyway.

"That's real vague, Delly," Sam chimed in, poking his head into the front seat. "Need a little more detail than that."

"Yeah, Sam's right. Why won't you tell us more of the story?"ย

Delaney turned to Dean with an incredulous look. "Oh, you wanna swap stories? You first, Dean. How was Hell? Hmm? Don't sugarcoat it either."

It seemed Delaney had Dean right where she wanted him because he merely gave her an annoyed look before he focused his attention back out the windshield, keeping quiet. The quiet only made Delaney sit back and remember that six months ago she had been trying to bring Dean back and yet now here he sat next to her in the Impala.ย

SIX MONTHS AGO

Delaney sniffled as she shoved the box of items that were required to summon a Cross Road Demon into the small hole she dug, covering it back up with the dirt. She pushed herself to her feet and her green eyes scanned the cross roads around her for any sign of the demon. Her phone had been left in the Impala that she parked not too far away, probably still buzzing with calls from Sam. He and Bobby had both tried to call her for the past three hours like clockwork and she ignored every one of them. If they knew what she was doing at the cross roads, then they would have came to get her and bring her back home.

Dean had barely been dead a week and her anxiety had been through the roof. Her usually bright and alert green eyes that matched Dean's, were now dull and red rimmed from the crying and the alcohol. Though, she more sober than usual since she needed the clear head to drive from Bobby's house and over the cross roads. She couldn't drive drunk and she couldn't make a deal drunk either. Dean probably rolled over in his grave at how Delaney had been taking his death lately, but she needed to do what she needed to do.

"Come on!" Delaney shouted into the darkness, spinning around in search of the demon. "Where the hell are you?"

"I was wondering whether to come or not," the demon said from behind Delaney, causing her to spin around and see him stood near the small, abandoned one pump gas station. "I mean, you shot one of my co-workers. Don't take this the wrong way, Laney, but you don't look so hot, sweetheart. I guess burying your precious big brother didn't sit well with you."

Delaney walked over to the demon, throwing her hands out to the side. "Well?"

"Well, let's see that special little knife of yours first."

Delaney rolled her eyes, but took out Randy's knife from her pocket and placed it on the tiny counter before her where she was sure a cash register used to sit. "No devil's traps either. I'm not here to play games."

The demon placed his hands in his suit pants pockets and eyed Delaney. "Let me guess. You want to make a deal like Dean did for you a year ago. Round and round the Winchesters go. All we need is Sammy to make his way over here and every single one of you Winchesters would have made a deal." He walked closer to where Delaney stood, the small counter being the only thing between them as he leant his hands on it. "I'm sorry, Laney. That's not gonna happen."

Delaney scoffed softly and was quick to grab the knife, plunging it into the demon's hand. She kept the knife in place as the demon wrapped his hand around Delaney's in an attempt to get the knife of his hand as it continued to light up. "I don't want ten years. I don't want one year. I don't want candy! I want to trade places with Dean!"

"No."

"Just take me! It's a fair trade!" Delaney yelled, the frustration only building up.

"No!"

"Why not? Lilith wants me dead anyway. Just let Dean go and Lilith can have me," Delaney begged, not seeing why this demon wouldn't just take the best trade he'd probably ever get.

The demon chuckled darkly and shook his head sadly at Delaney, a pitying look crossing his face. "Aw, poor Delaney. Don't you get it? It's not about your soul. Dean is in Hell right where we want him. We've got everything exactly the way we want it. You want to kill me, sweetheart? Go ahead. I've made peace with my Lord."

That was the final straw as Delaney growled and removed the knife from the demon's hand and it plunged it into his chest instead. She watched as the demon dropped to the ground, his body lighting up for a moment before his dead vessel was left behind.

"Of course, I wanna help however I can," the social worker agreed.

The Winchesters had arrived at the hospital in a little less than three days thanks to Dean's speedy driving. They had each took a turn driving so they could get to the mental hospital faster, getting this case over and done with. Randy had texted Delaney a few times during the trip to make sure she was okay and see how they were doing on getting there. Anytime his name came up on her phone, Delaney had to force the giddy smile off her face before either of the boys noticed.ย

"The orderly has no recollection of Anna's escape?" Sam asked, finding the whole ย thing rather odd.ย

"Apparently, she had knocked him unconscious. Um, the blow caused some amnesia. He didn't even remember coming into her room," the social worker informed, clutching a file and sketch book in her hands.

"That's a hell of a right hook to knock out a guy that's got eighty pounds on her," Dean commented.

"We think she may have planned this, waited behind the door."

"Right. You mentioned Anna's illness was recent," Delaney recalled, following the social worker past the blue door with the small broken glass window on it into the hallway.

The social worker nodded. "Two months ago, she was a happy well-adjusted journalism major. Lots of friends, bright future."

Dean furrowed his eyebrows and exchanged a quick look with his siblings, all three of them seeming to find that the whole thing really was odd. Maybe Randy was right about Anna after all. "So what happened? She just flipped?"

The social worker smiled sadly at the three siblings. "Well, that's the tragedy of schizophrenia. Within weeks, Anna was overtaken by delusions."

"What kind of delusions?" Sam inquired.

"She thought demons were everywhere," the social worker explained, handing Delaney the sketch book. "It's not uncommon for our patients to believe monsters are real."

Delaney hummed and flipped through the book, seeing small sketches of crosses and random glass windows you'd see in a church. However, when she turned to the next page she froze as the drawing of the branding that had been on the witnesses back at Bobby's house. RISE OF THE WITNESSESย has been drawn in blocky letters above the branding mark. The next page Delaney flipped to had a drawing of Samhain with SAMHAIN THE NEXT SEAL IS BROKEN written in the same blocky lettering as the page before above it.

"That's Revelations," Dean said, trying to hide the worry on his face.

"Since when does the Book of Revelations have jack-o-lanterns?" the social worker countered.

"It's a, uh, it's a little known translation," Sam quickly said, smiling innocently at the social worker.ย

"Ah. Well, Anna's father was a church deacon. When she became ill, her paranoia took on religious overtones. She was convinced the devil was about to rise up and end the world. I hope you find her. It's dangerous for her to be out there on her own right now."

Delaney's face paled as a sickening feeling settled in her stomach. This was really not good.

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

The Winchesters had gone over to the Milton's to talk to Anna's parents and get more information on Anna. However, when they had gotten there, Delaney found Mr. and Mrs. Milton dead in a pool of their own blood in the living room. After a look around the room while the boys inspected the dead bodies, Delaney noticed a photo of the three Miltons. Anna was a pretty red head who looked like any other person you'd see on the street. In the photo behind the three Miltons stood a church with the same stained glass window Anna drew over and over in her sketch book. Sam had suggested they should check out the church since Anna had probably ran there to hide, feeling safest inside the holy place.ย

The church wasn't too far from the Milton's house and the siblings made in just under five minutes. Each grabbing a hand gun, Delaney and the boys hopped out of the Impala and ran into the church with their guns raised. Thankfully, no one else seemed to be inside so the siblings didn't have to hide their weapons. They made their way up the steps to the attic where Delaney had heard soft cries.

Delaney stepped into the attic with Dean and Sam on either side of her, noticing movement behind a stained glass window in the corner of the room. She slowly stuffed her hand gun into the waistband of her jeans, waving her brothers to do the same so they don't frighten the poor girl any more than she already is. "Anna, we're not gonna hurt you, sweetie. My brothers and I are here to help you, okay? My name is Delaney and these are Sam and Dean."

"Delaney? Not Delaney Winchester?" Anna asked, her voice sounding small as she stepped around the window to reveal herself. She was dressed in jeans, a white tank top, green army jacket and boots. She didn't look as crazy as everyone turned her out to be back at the mental ward. "And you're Dean? Theย Dean?"

"Well, yeah," Dean replied slowly, sounding confused. "Theย Dean, I guess."

"It's really you," Anna breathed, a relieved smile appearing on her face as she made her way closer to the three siblings. "Oh, my God. The angels talk about you. You were in Hell, but Castiel pulled you out and some of them think you can help save us. They don't really talk about Sam much, but they like him and his kind soul." Her eyes flickered over to Delaney and grimaced slightly. "And some of them don't like you at all."

Delaney blinked in surprise, even though she really shouldn't be. Castiel and Uriel had told her that God didn't like her using her abilities. So it only made sense that some of the angels would have an issue with her. She shot her brothers a glare when they both snorted at Anna's comment.

"They talk about you all the time lately. I feel like I know you," Anna said.

"So you talk to angels?" Sam questioned, tilting his head in curiosity.

"Oh, no. No, no way. Um, they probably don't even know I exist. I just kind of overhear them," Anna explained.

"You overhear them?"

"Yeah. They talk and sometimes I just... hear them in my head."

Dean exchanged a look with his siblings that was a mix between curious and confused. They hadn't met anyone who could hear the angels talk. From what Delaney understood, whenever Castiel had tried to talk to Dean before he only heard loud screeches that resembled that of a microphone near a speaker. So the fact that Anna could actually hear them was a shock and made Delaney understand why the demons had wanted her. They would be able to know whatever the angels planed because Anna would hear it.

"Like right now?"

"Not right this second, but a lot. I can't shut them out. There are so many of them."

"So they lock you up with a case of the crazies when really you were just tuning in to angel radio?" Dean inquired, trying to make sense of everything that Anna was relaying to them.

Anna seemed relieved at Dean's response since he practically summed it in little words. "Yes. Thank you."

Delaney chewed her thumbnail, her brain working at warped speed. Her mind hurt from trying to piece together all the jumbled up pieces. "Anna, when did the voices start? Do you remember?"

"I can tell you exactly. September 18th."

Sam and Delaney both snapped their attentions over to Dean who stiffened slightly at the mention of that date. "The day you got out of Hell."

"First words I heard, clear as a bell. Dean Winchester is saved."

"What do you think?"

Delaney laughed softly and shook her head, slapping a hand to her side. "It's above our pay grade, Dean, and we don't even get paid. At least we know why the demons want her so bad. When they get ahold of you, Anna, they can hear everything the other side is plotting."

"You're 1-900-angel," Dean mused.

Anna laughed at Dean's joke and stopped mid-laugh when realization flashed across her face. "Hey, what about my parents? Do you know if they're okay? I - I didn't want to go home. I was afraid."

The door to the attic suddenly shut behind the siblings and the trio whirled around to see Randy rush inside with a determined look on his face. "Oh good you got Anna. Let's go."

Anna gasped and stumbled back, her hand shaking as she pointed a finger in Randy's direction. "Ah, his face!"

"Wow, you really know how to guy feel special," Randy quipped.

"No, Anna, it's okay," Delaney assured, holding her hands up to show she wasn't going to be harmed. "He's just here to help."

"Don't be so sure," Dean grumbled.

"We have to hurry," Randy announced, twirling his hand to signal the Winchesters to hurry up and move.

Sam narrowed his eyes at Randy, suspicious of why the demon wanted to get them out of the church's attic so quickly. "Why?"

Randy pointed a finger in the direction of the attic door. "Because a demon is about to burst his way through that door, a big-timer. He's not exactly a stuffed teddy ย bear. We can fight later, okay?"

"Thats pretty convenient. Showing up right when we find the girl with some bigwig on your tail?" Dean challenged.

"I didn't bring him here, you did," Randy shot back and crossed his arms. "He followed you from the girl's house. We gotta go now."

Delaney had just so happened to glance over her shoulder to check on Anna when the white angel statue in the corner began to bleed from its eyes. Her eyes widened and she nudged both of her brothers to take a look at the statue. That definitely wasn't a good sign.

"It's too late," Randy informed and Delaney had never seen her demon boyfriend more frightened than right then. "He's here."

The three siblings kicked into action with Sam guiding Anna over to the closet to hide, Dean taking out his gun and Delaney grabbing her large flask of holy water to fling in the demon's face.

"No, Lanes, you gotta pull him right away," Randy informed, lowering her hand that had went to unscrew the lid on the flask.

"Whoa, hold on a second," Dean argued, not wanting Delaney to use her ability.

"Now is really not the time to bellyache about Delaney going dark side, Dean. She does her thing. She exorcises that demon or we all die," Randy snapped.

Delaney released a shaky breath and slowly slid the flask of holy water back into the inner pocket of her jacket, avoiding both Sam and Dean's heated gazes. She turned to the brown wooden door just as it was kicked in by a man salt and pepper hair dressed in a suit. The demon rounded the wooden banister and Delaney quickly raised her hand, channeling her energy into exorcising the demon.

The demon's eyes went white for a moment and he brought his fist up to his mouth, coughing a bit before his eyes went back to the brown ones of the vessel he possessed. He laughed mockingly at Delaney and lowered his hand back to his side with an arrogant grin. "That tickles. You don't have the juice to take me on, Laney." He curled his hand and tugged it back.

As if Delaney were suddenly tied to an invisible rope, she was lifted off her feet and went crashing through the wooden banister near the door and went tumbling down the steps. She groaned as her back hit the floor below and she winced when she tried to roll over onto her side. Groaning, Delaney pushed herself to her feet and fumbled in her jacket for Randy's knife as she hurled herself back up the steps to see Sam held up by an invisible force against one of the wooden pillars. The demon had Dean held up against another one by the front of his shirt as he pummeled into Dean's face with a fist.

Delaney raised her arm and spun the demon around, plunging the knife into the demon's heart.

"You're gonna have to try a whole lot harder than that, sweetheart," the demon warned, pushing Delaney away from him as he tried to pull the knife out of his chest.

Delaney rushed over to her brothers, checking on Dean to make sure he was alright besides the bleeding nose. The trio knew they had to get out of there before the demon could do anything else to them and with Randy now gone along with Anna, they only had to worry about themselves in the moment. Delaney had glanced over to the purple stained glass window at the end of the room that would lead out to the front of the church. It was their only way out since the demon blocked their other exit.

The siblings all nodded at each other with a silent agreement to go out through the window before they ran together and leapt at the window, breaking through it.

Delaney hissed as Sam poured some alcohol over the gash in Delaney's bicep, flinching away from him as he went to put the needle through her wound so he could stitch her up. "You're hurting, Sammy."

"Delly, if you stop squirming it won't hurt," Sam said, gently pulling Delaney back towards him so he could stitch her up before she lost any more blood. "Now sit still please."

"Fine," Delaney grumbled and allowed Sam to take back her arm, rolling up gray short sleeved shirt more to have more room to work. She wasn't usually one to complain about pain, but boy did that alcohol burn like a mother.

"Are you almost done?" Dean called from the sinks, spitting more blood into the porcelain sink.ย

Sam glanced up from Delaney's partially stitched arm and shot him a look. "I'm going as fast as I can here, Dean. Delaney's not exactly making this easy."

"Hey," Delaney whined with a small pout, earning her a chuckle from her older brothers.

"Well, I have a dislocated shoulder that needs to be popped back in," Dean reminded Sam, walking out from the little nook the sinks were placed in.

"I'll pop it back when I'm finished," Sam huffed.

Dean took a long sip from the bottle of alcohol Sam had used on Delaney's wound. He coughed slightly at the burn, wiping his mouth with the sleeve of his button up. "So, Della, you lost the magic knife, huh?"

Delaney whined when Sam put a little too much pressure when putting in the last few stitches on her arm. "Saving your ass. Who the hell even was that demon?"

"No one good. We need to find Anna."

"Randy's got her. I'm sure Anna's okay," Delaney replied, taking the rag Sam held out to her so she could clean up the blood on her arm so he could pop Dean's shoulder back into place.

Dean growled out in pain when Sam pushed on his shoulder and he circled his arm around to try ease the pain. He walked back over to the sinks and leant his hands on the counter, trying to breathe through the hot pain. "You sure about Randy, baby girl? Cause I think it's just as likely she used use to find radio girl and then brought that demon in to kill us."

Delaney shook her head and tossed the bloodied hand rag onto the small pile next to the bed of the Winchesters' ruined clothing. "No, he took Anna to keep her safe."

"Well then why hasn't he called to tell us where they are?" Sam chimed in.

"Because that demon is probably watching us right now," Delaney replied and pushed herself off the bed to walk over to her duffle bag to look for a new shirt since the once she wore was bloodied from her arm. "Waiting to follow us right back to Anna again. That's why he let us go in the first place."

Dean chuckled humorlessly and turned to face Delaney, pressing an ice pack to his injured shoulder. "You call thisย letting us go, Delaney?"

Delaney retrieved a fresh t-shirt from her duffle bag and shrugged. "Yeah, I do. Look, killing us would have been no problem to that thing. That's why for now, we just gotta lay low and wait for Randy to contact us."

"How is he gonna do that?" Sam scoffed softly, pulling a new shirt over his head. "You know, without that demon hearing about it."

"Why do you trust him so much anyway?" Dean asked, still not understanding why his sister was so devoted to this demon.

Delaney groaned and stepped behind the divider in the room so she could change her shirt in privacy since Dean was stood by the sinks and bathroom. She chucked her ruined t-shirt to the side and threw her new on, stepping back out from behind the divider. "I already you."

Dean shook his head, tossing his ice pack onto the counter and walking over to sit next to Sam on the bed while Delaney sat on the one across from them. "You have got to do better than that, baby girl. I'm not trying to pick a fight here, okay? Neither is Sammy. As your big brothers, we just want to understand. We need to know more. I mean, we both deserve to know more than this."

"Because... he saved my life."

SIX MONTHS AGO

Delaney rubbed a hand over her face in exhaustion as she unlocked her motel room door and stepped back inside. She had just had another fail in trying to save Dean from Hell. It had been two weeks since he was sent down to Hell and Sam and Bobby's calls hadn't stopped once. She knew they'd never stop until she just left her phone off or she blocked their numbers. To say Delaney was just mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted would be an understatement. So she really just didn't have the energy to deal with her big brother or Bobby.

She missed Sam and Bobby more than anything, but Delaney needed to be alone and work on saving Dean. It was her fault Dean was even in Hell in the first place since he had given up his soul to save hers after Jake quite literally stabbed her in the back. So Delaney needed to be the one to save him and the only way to do that was to find Lilith. However, that plan seemed to be nearly impossible since no demon would talk. Something Delaney should have expected.

While Delaney had been distracted, she was grabbed from behind and held against a solid chest. A blonde boy that looked to be around Delaney's age stepped into view and smiled tauntingly at her, whipping out Randy's knife from her pocket. She struggled against the man's grip, but it was no use because he was much stronger than she was.

"Thanks for keeping this warm for me, Lanes," the blonde said, twirling the knife around in his hand.

Delaney's eyes snapped up to the blonde in front of her who looked remotely close to a certain blue eyed demon. If the similarities weren't a huge giveaway, then the fact that the blonde called her Lanesย was a big one alone. He had been the only one besides John to call her that since most demons usually went from Laney or even Della if they reallyย wanted to get under her skin since that nickname was for Dean and Dean alone. "Randy."

Randy stepped closer to Delaney and held the tip of the knife up towards Delaney's throat, a wicked smile on his face. "It's nice to be back, princess. Where I was, even for Hell, it was nasty. I guess I really pissed off Lilith. Imagine my relief when she gave me one last chance to take it topside. All I had to do was find you and kill you, Lanes."

Delaney's chest heaved as anger coursed through her. Of course Randy was here for his own benefit. "Fine. Go ahead. Do it, I dare you."

Randy had a stare down with Delaney for a long moment before he pulled his arm back and plunged the knife into the man that held Delaney still. He pulled the knife back out, letting the other demon drop to the ground and release his grip on Delaney. "Grab your keys. We gotta go. Now!"

Delaney stood frozen in her place, not believing that Randy had just saved her life instead of killing her. His only way to get back in Lilith's good graces was to kill her, yet Randy killed one of his own instead. It was odd for a demon to do anything for anyone out of the kindness in their hearts. The only way to get information out of Randy was to follow after him and let him in the Impala to take him wherever her needed. She could already hear Dean yelling at her for letting Randy in his precious baby.

The drive between Delaney and Randy was quiet for a few minutes as Delaney's mind worked at warped speed. She appreciated Randy not murdering her in cold blood, but she also didn't like that Randy possessed an innocent girl.ย

"You know what sounds good? French fries," Randy said, cutting off the silence between the two. "I'm starvin'. I just escaped Hell and I deserve a treat." He glanced over at Delaney who ignored him and kept her eyes focused on the road ahead. "You know, a thank you would be nice, princess."

"I don't remember asking for your help," Delaney remarked.

"You have no idea what I've been through. When Lilith gets pissed, she gets creative. You wanna hear about the corners of Hell I've seen, Lanes? The things I've had to do to convince Lilith I was sorry and could be trusted."

Delaney snorted and only gripped the steering wheel tighter in her grip, her knuckles turning white. "Well, this will definitely get you a fat Christmas bonus."

"Very funny," Randy remarked, crossing his arms. "You realize that I'm a fugitive... for you. I took all of this risk to get back to you. So, yeah, I deserve a damn thank you."

"Who asked you to save me?" Delaney countered, tearing her eyes from the dark and empty road to look at Randy. "I've been doing just fine with your help."

"I'm just trying to help."

"Can you help me save Dean?"

"No," Randy admitted and Delaney could hear the pity in his tone. "Nothing I know of is powerful enough to do that."

Delaney poked her tongue into her cheek and swerved the car over to the side of the road, shutting off the Impala and turning in her seat to fully face Randy. "Guess I have no use for you then, Randy. Just get out of my car."

"Lanes..."

"Whose body are you even riding, Randy?" Delaney asked, even though she was scared to know the answer.ย

"What do you care? You've never asked me that before."

"Well, tough because I'm asking now."

Randy stared at Delaney for a long moment, eyes bouncing between both of her own to try and find the joke. However, Delaney was far from joking about any of it. She hated that some poor guy was being possessed by Randy. "Some secretary."

Delaney nodded her head with a small scowl. "Let him go."

"Lanes - "

"Or I send you right back to Hell," Delaney threatened.

Randy opened his mouth to argue, but closed it once he realized Delaney was serious. He sighed, but relented and escaped out of the male's mouth in a cloud of black smoke and disappeared into the night.

SIX MONTHS AGO (CONT)

It had been a few days since Delaney's run in with Randy and she had moved on, finding more leads on where Lilith could be. She holed herself up in an abandoned cabin that had multiple broken in walls with vines and foliage growing around the wood. She hadn't slept all that much and her body was mostly filled up with coffee and alcohol. More so the coffee than the alcohol since the coffee helped her stay up late into the night to do more research.ย

A knock on the door alerted Delaney and grabbed her rock salt rifle since no one knew where she was. The cabin was in a pretty deserted area so no one ever even passed by it. She slowly made her way from the dining room where she was sat cleaning up her weapons to the front door. Delaney placed the barrel of the rifle to the front door and opened it just enough for her to see who it was and have the rifle aimed at the intruder.

Randy.

"Proof," Randy said, holding up a medical sheet that stated how whoever Randy possessed was died. He was taller than the first blonde vessel Randy chose and had brown hair and brown eyes. He actually looked quite attractive, not that Delaney would ever admit that out loud to Randy. It would only boost the demon's ego. "I recycle. Al Gore would be so proud of me."

Delaney stumbled back a step when Randy shoved the file into her hand and she skimmed through the file to see just who Randy decided to possess thisย time. From the looks of it, Randy possessed a patient that had died from a coma. "You're possessing a coma patient?"

Randy shrugged and slowly made his way through the cabin, inspecting the peeling walls and dirty floors. "You didn't want me to take a body with someone in it and I made sure that the spirit was gone before I hopped in. Apartment was empty and needed a new occupant. You happy?"

"What are you doing here, Randy?" Delaney asked, folding up the medical file and following Randy back into the dining room where all her weapons still sat on the dusty table.

"Look, I can't bring Dean back," Randy reiterated, taking a seat at the table and twirling one of the knives Delaney had out in his hand. "But I can get you something else that you want."

"Huh, and uh..." Delaney trailed off, swiping one of the beers off the table and taking a sip from it. "What is it that I want besides my brother back?"

Randy eyed Delaney for a moment and she wasn't sure if it was her tipsy brain or not, but she could have sworn she saw worry in his eyes when he looked at her. There were dark purple bags under her eyes from the lack of sleep and her green eyes were glassy and red rimmed from both the never ending tears and the drinking. "Lilith."

Delaney scoffed out a laugh. "Oh, so you want me to use my psychic whatever."

"Lanes, I know that it spooks you - "

"Skip the speech. I'm ready," Delaney cut off Randy. Maybe it was the liquid courage in her system or the fact that Delaney knew she needed the extra help with Lilith, but her brain told her it was a good idea. That she should team up with Randy, who seemed to know Lilith better than anyone else. "Let's go."

"Slow down there, princess," Randy chuckled and had Delaney sit down in the chair across from him. "Lilith is one scary bitch, okay? When I was in the pit, there was talk. She's cooking up something big. Apocalyptic big."

"So let's kill her," Delaney said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

Randy rose his eyebrows at Delaney and shot her a challenging look. "You want to go in there and half-ass it like before? We have the time to get it right. Let's get it right, Lanes."

Delaney huffed and leant back in her chair, taking another sip of her beer. "Fine. What do you want from me?"

"Well, a little patience... and sobriety," Randy scolded, grabbing the green glass bottle from Delaney's hand and holding it out of her reach. "You know Dean and Sam would be disappointed in you if they saw you like this, Lanes. You have to stop. Promise me that you'll sober up and I'll teach you everything I know."

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

"So..." Dean trailed off from where he now sat at the small table underneath the window with Sam, the two ironically drinking a beer while Delaney remained on the bed next to the small table. "What did she teach you?"

"Well, the first thing I learned is that I'm actually a crappy student."

SIX MONTHS AGO (CONT)

Delaney stood in the abandoned cabin her and Randy had been holed together in for the past few weeks, trying to train Delaney to use her exorcising ability. All she had to do was focus her energy on the demon before her and she should be able to extract the black smoke from the vessel without killing the victim. It would send the demon straight back to Hell for good. However, the ability was way harder to use than Delaney had expected.

The demon sat tied to one of the chairs from the dining room next to the fireplace. Randy stood behind the demon with his knife ready to stab through the demon in case Delaney couldn't exorcise him. They had been finding demons connected to Lilith and any time they didn't talk, Randy would have Delaney practice her ability on the demon to send him back. However, every time Delaney tried, she only got the black smoke a few feet out of the demon before it went right back in.

Her head pounded as blood dripped down out of her nose and she gripped her head in pain. The demon merely laughed mockingly at her, but that was quickly cut off when Randy shoved the demon knife into the demon's throat shutting him up for good.

"Not funny," Randy grumbled at the dead demon and pulled his knife out of the vessel's throat.

After Delaney burned and buried the victim in the back of the cabin, she stormed back inside and tossed her shovel onto the table. She took out two aspirins from her medicine bag and swallowed them dry to hopefully stop the pounding in her skull.ย

Randy watched Delaney with a sad look, feeling horrible that she was having such a hard time with getting ahold of the ability properly. He wished things could be easier for Winchester girl since she had already suffered enough. "Just give it time, Lanes. It will get better." ย

"What? I need more practice?" Delaney mumbled, brushing past Randy to make her way towards the bedroom at the back of the cabin. She pushed through the creaky door and flicked through the closet where her clothes hung for a new shirt since the one she wore was all grimy and dirty.ย

"No, not the ability, Lanes," Randy said, leaning against the doorframe of the bedroom that the two had shared the past few weeks. Delaney had slept on the bed while Randy had slept on the small couch in the corner. He didn't want Delaney to be alone in case anything happened and Delaney had even offered to share the king sized bed with Randy, but he refused since he didn't want to intrude on Delaney's space. Especially not with the tension that continued to grow between the two.

It wasn't hard to tell that the two brushed against the other more so than what would be considered normal. They would glance at the other when they thought the other wasn't looking. Randy knew Delaney held back from really showing any feelings because he was a demon and she still worked through the loss of Dean. A loss Delaney should have never experienced in the first place. Though, it did get harder every day to really ignore the tension that was nearly suffocating at this point.

"Look, I know losing Dean was - "

"Hey," Delaney snapped, spinning around to face Randy with one of Dean's old hoodies that had shrank and he gave to her. Dean's old clothes had been a constant thing on Delaney's body because it made her feel like Dean was still there. The only time Randy saw her in anything that was actually hers was when she knew they were going to hunt down one of the demons since she didn't want to ruin any of Dean's stuff. "I don't wanna talk about it. You know what? Where do you get off slapping me with that greeting card time-heals crap? What the hell do you even know about that, Randy?"

"You do realize that I was human once, too," Randy reminded, pushing off the doorframe and stalking closer to Delaney. "I still remember what it feels like to lose someone. I'm sorry."

Delaney stepped back when Randy tried to reach out and pull her into him, sniffling softly. She tried to force the bloodied and ripped up vision of Dean out of her mind, but it was stayed right in the forefront of her mind like a disease. "Don't. I can't."

"Lanes, you're not alone," Randy said, stepping closer to Delaney and tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. When she didn't flinch away, he slowly lowered his lips onto Delaney's.

Delaney was stunned for a moment before her brain finally caught up to her and she pushed away from Randy, shaking her head as she walked to the other side of the bed. "You can't just do that."

"It's okay."

"No, that is anything but okay," Delaney cried, throwing her hands into the air causing Dean's hoodie to go flying onto the edge of the bed.ย

"What's wrong?"ย

Delaney slapped a hand to her side and shot Randy an incredulous look. "What's wrong? Where do I even start, Randy?"

Randy slowly rounded the bed so he could be stood in front of Delaney again, chucking his leather jacket onto the small couch in the corner. "Is it because of the body? Because I told you, it's all me inside of here. There is no one else in here and it's nice inside of this body, Lanes." He placed his hands on Delaney's waist and pulled her flush into him earning a small squeak from Delaney. "Or is it because you're scared to go there with a demon because it's wrong, and bad, and we shouldn't? Because Dean and Sam would never approve? I promise I'm not the enemy here and I'm on your side, always. No matter what, Lanes."

Randy lowered his face to Delaney's neck and pressed soft kisses to the skin, feeling her shudder in his arms at the action. He smirked confidently against her skin and felt Delaney pull his head up to hers and she crashed her lips onto his, feeling feeding into what they both had wanted this whole time. No matter how wrong or bad or terrible it was. He had lifted Delaney into his arms and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he walked the two to the bed. Randy gently placed Delaney down on the bed and didn't break the kiss as he laid between her legs, breathing heavily when Delaney tugged her hands through his hair.

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

"Della."

Delaney blinked a few times, getting too lost in the story and memories of her and Randy's first time. "Yeah?"

Sam awkwardly cleared his throat and tried not to gag at the vidid details Delaney offered. "Too much information, little one."

"I told you I was coming clean," Delaney defended weakly.

"Yeah, but now I feel dirty," Dean shuddered, shaking his head to rid that image out of his head. "Okay, well, uh brain-stabbing imagery aside. So far, all you've told Sammy and I about is a manipulative dick who, uh, screwed you, played mind games with you and did everything in the book to get you to go bad."

"Yeah, well, there's more to the story, Dean."

"Little one, can you just... like... skip the nudity, please?" Sam begged, really not wanting any more of those mental images in his head.ย

Delaney smiled sheepishly at her brothers and scratched the back of her neck. "Uh, yeah... sorry. ย Pretty soon after that, um... God, you're gonna hate this, but..." She cleared her throat, dreading having to say the next part. "Wegottogether."

Dean furrowed his eyebrows, not hearing Delaney since she had said the last bit so low and fast. "Say again?"

"Randy and I are...." Delaney trailed off, suddenly finding her fingers in her lap very interesting. "Together."

Dean and Sam fell deadly silent at Delaney's words and she peeked a look at them through her eyelashes to see they had both gone ghostly pale. She knew neither one of them would be too enthusiastic over the whole thing, but they had to know. She was over hiding stuff from them, no matter how hard it just was to admit that her and Randy were a thing. Once again, Delaney found herself absentmindedly fiddling with the tennis bracelet he gave her.

"You're what now?" Dean rasped, sounding anything but happy.

"I know, okay? I know," Delaney sighed, running her hands down her face. "He's a demon and we're supposed to hate him, but he's different. Once you hear everything you'll understand."

"Delly, did your abilities fry your brain?" Sam balked, finally finding his voice again after that shock. "They're all the same. All of them want one thing and that's torture, torment and sick twisted games."

Delaney frowned and shook her head, hoping desperately the boys would just let her explain. "Just please hear me out. Please, boys."

Dean's jaw ticked, not wanting to accept this for a single second. However, the desperate and pleading look on Delaney's face nearly melted him in his seat. She knew how to get under his skin and get him to bend to her will. It had always been that way since she was born. Delaney had her brother wrapped so tightly around her finger that not even the jaws of life could pry him off. "Fine, Delaney. Continue then."

"Thank you," Delaney breathed in relief and pulled her legs up beneath her on the bed. "Well, not too long after... um, that... I found some more signs, omens."

"Saying what?" Dean prodded.

"Lilith was in town and I wanted to strike her first."

FIVE MONTHS EARLIER

"Babe, you're not ready yet," Randy argued, following Delaney through the cabin as the smaller girl pulled on her leather jacket.ย

"It's now or never," Delaney said, not caring in the slightest bit about waiting any longer. She knew where Lilith was going to be and Delaney would be damned if she didn't strike right now.

"No, we gotta wait until you get it right," Randy snapped, pulling on Delaney's wrist so she could turn back around and face him. "You'll only get yourself killed since you haven't been too successful."

Delaney shrugged and took the knife out of Randy's jacket pocket. "Alright, I'll use this then."

Randy plucked the knife out of Delaney's hand and held it up out of her reach. "You can't just fly in there reckless, Delaney. We need you to take the bitch out."

"Oh, I'll take her out alright."

"You get one shot and you're it," Randy said softly, tucking a piece of hair behind Delaney's ear with a worried expression. "You're the only one who can do it, princess. So if she kills you first..." He trailed off when he saw the determined look in his girlfriend's eyes. His hand slowly dropped back to his side as he realized why Delaney was so ready to just run in there guns blazing. "You don't want to survive this."

Delaney rolled her eyes and went to walk away from Randy, not wanting to hear a lecture from him. "Come on."

Randy laughed humorlessly and followed Delaney towards the front door of the cabin, blocking the door before Delaney could reach for the door handle and leave. "This is a kamikaze attack. You want to die fighting Lilith because if you kill her and you survive this then you have to go on without Dean. This isn't what Dean would have wanted, Lanes! He didn't die just so you could throw yourself head first into a dangerous situation."

"Get out of my way, Randy."

"No, Lanes. This is suicide!"

Delaney growled and leapt at Randy, trying her hardest to fight him off the front door and wound up wrenching the demon knife out of his hand. She was able to pry him off the door and onto the wall next to it, holding the knife up to his throat. The both of them knew Delaney wouldn't use it on him, it was more of a tactic to keep him in his place and not fight her anymore. She fumbled for the doorknob and pulled the front door open.ย

"I'm going whether you like it or not, Randy. If I don't strike now, who knows when I'll be able to again? I'm taking my opportunity."

And with that, Delaney was out of the cabin and left Randy behind.

FIVE MONTHS AGO (CONT)

Delaney made her way down the block towards the modern house that she knew Lilith to be in. She stopped outside the large window that looked into the living room that was connected to the dining room. Sat at the dining room table with multiple sweets and treats scattered along the top was Lilith in all her little blonde girl glory.ย

Delaney quietly made her towards the front door and was grateful to find out that the front door had been unlocked. She pulled Randy's knife out of her pocket and quietly opened up the front door, shutting it behind her as she slipped through the small space she made for herself. There was no sign of any other life in the dark house as Delaney slowly made her way from the foyer to the dining room.

The little girl sat the dining room table turned with a frightened look on her face, her face soaked with shed tears. "Please. I just wanna go home!"

"What the - "

Delaney was cut off mid-sentence when she was grabbed from behind, causing her to drop Randy's knife to the ground. She was hauled back and pushed up against the wall by her throat. A man held her up by his forearm, his eyes black as night as his partner stood next to him with the same sinister smile he wore.ย

"Lilith sends her regrets. She couldn't make it."

Delaney gasped for air as the demon pressed his forearm more into her throat, cutting off her airflow. She tried to claw at the demon's arm, but it was no use because he was too strong for her. Clearly, Lilith liked to bring out the big guns when it came to doing her dirty work. Something that wasn't shocking in the least bit.

Suddenly, Randy's knife was picked up at the other demon was stabbed in the chest. Delaney and the demon that held her up turned to see Randy pull his knife out the other demon's body. Randy pried the demon off Delaney and pushed him away from his girlfriend. "Take the girl and run, Lanes!"

Delaney sprung into action and grabbed the little girl into her arms, rushing outside and over to the neighbor's house. She quickly rattled off some excuse to the elderly woman next door that she had found the little girl alone and asked if the woman can watch over the girl till her parents came back. The older woman, who luckily already knew the little girl, took her in with no complaint and thanked Delaney for protecting her before taking the girl inside to call her parents.

Delaney darted back next door to see Randy held up off the ground by his throat against the archway to the living room. The demon that held him up threatened Randy with an endless amount of torture when he got Randy back down to Hell. However, Delaney wasn't going to let the demon get that far because she held her hand up, focusing all her energy on sending the black eyed bastard back where he belonged.ย

The demon began to choke as his grip on Randy loosened and he let go of Randy, sending Randy back onto his feet. He collapsed to his knees as more and more black smoke poured out of his mouth, choking until he eventually fell over with the smoke disappearing into the floor.

Randy wheezed, wiping his sleeve along his bloodied nose. "Princess?"

"I'm okay," Delaney panted, feeling slightly out of breath and most of her energy being drained into that one act. She just couldn't believe that she had done it. "Thanks."

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

"Randy came back for me," Delaney said, tearing her eyes from the bracelet Randy got her and over to her brothers who were rendered silent. "Whatever either one of you have to say, he saved me. More than that, he got through to me. What he said to me... it's what you guys would have said to me, especially Dean. Any time I did something that was remotely terrible, Randy would yell at me and say that it would make you both disappointed because it's my fear. To let you guys down. If it wasn't for Randy, I wouldn't be here right now."

Dean and Sam both sat and stared at Delaney for a long moment. Both of them tried to process everything Delaney had admitted to them. The whole story was a bit of a rollercoaster and it took a minute for all the pieces to really process for them. It was a lot to take in since they had missed so much from their time separated.ย

Before Dean or Sam could open their mouths to respond, there was a knock on the motel room door.

"Housekeeping," a male voice said through the door.

"Not now!" Dean yelled back.

"Sir, I have clean towels."

Dean groaned, but pushed himself to his feet anyway and opened up the motel room door to reveal a stumpy male maid with white towels in his hand. "Couldn't you just leave them at the door?"

The male maid pushed the towels into Dean's hands and walked inside, closing the curtains over the windows so no one could look inside. He walked over to Delaney and held out a piece of paper with an address scribbled across it. "I'm at this address. Go now. Go through the bathroom window. Don't stop, don't take the Impala. Don't pass go. There are demons in the hallway and in the parking lot."

Delaney's eyes nearly bulged out of her head and she sprung to her feet, reaching out and poking a finger into Randy's now chubby cheek. "Randy, are you serious right now?"

"Don't lecture me on possessing a living body right now, Lanes. It's for a hot minute and then I'm out of it, okay?"

"What about - "

"Coma boy? Rotting on the floor back at the cabin with Anna. So I have got to hurry back. See you guys when you get there. Now go."

Sam watched Randy exit the room before he focused on Delaney. "Your boyfriend is bossy."

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

It didn't take long for the three siblings to find the abandoned cabin hidden in the woods, protected by the darkness of night. It reminded Delaney of the cabin that her and Randy had crouched in when they were both still working on Delaney's abilities. It had the same vines and foliage growing along the sides of the run down wooden building.

"Nice of you to join us."

"Shut up, Randy," Delaney huffed and rushed into the cabin to see Anna sat on the couch, looking just like she had when they first found her at the church. "Anna, are you okay?"

"Yeah. I think so. Randy's not like other demons. He saved my life," Anna said, smiling up at Randy. Delaney glanced over her shoulder at Randy who shut the cabin door and walked back over to stand with the group.

"Yeah, I hear he does that," Dean replied, turning to Randy who furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. He chewed the inside of his lip as Delaney walked over to Randy and wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging herself into his side."I guess I, uh... you know... "

Randy cautiously wrapped an arm around Delaney, as if scared to even so much as touch her with Dean and Sam staring him down. "What?"

"I guess I owe you for... Della. She told Sammy and I about the past few months between you guys and that you're, you know, together. I just wanna, ahem, you know..."

"Don't strain yourself," Randy mused.

"I think what Dean wants to say is thank you," Sam piped up, looking just as uncomfortable as Dean. "We, uh, we're grateful that you saved her life."

Randy kissed the side of Delaney's head, hugging her closer to him. "I'd do it again if I had to."

"As weirded out by this as I am and it'll take me a long time to be okay with it, but I'm happy for you two," Dean said, eyes flickering between his baby sister and her demon boyfriend. "I haven't her seen this happy since... you know. So I'm okay with this... as much as I can be, but I swear if you even so much as show that you're not trustworthy, I'm stabbing the knife right into your heart and let Lilith have her fun with you again."

"I like when you talk dirty to me, Deano," Randy teased and groaned when Delaney elbowed him hard in the ribs. He pouted at her as he rubbed his side. "But thanks. I'd never hurt, Delaney."

"Is the moment over now?" Dean asked and let out a breath when Randy didn't respond. "Thank God because that awkward."

"Hey, Delaney?" Anna called, earning Delaney's attention. "You think it'll be okay to make a quick call to my parents? They must be freaking out."

Delaney rolled her lips into her mouth and dropped her head, not wanting to break the news to Anna that her parents were gone and she couldn't make the phone call to them. How did you break the news like that to someone?ย

Anna's face fell as everyone around her all wore awkward expressions. "What? What is it?"

Sam cleared his throat and slowly sat down next to Anna on the couch. "Anna, um... your parents... I'm sorry."

Anna's eyes instantly filled with tears and she shook her head defiantly. "No, they're not..."

"Anna, I'm sorry," Sam whispered, offering her a sad smile. "I wish I had better news for you. I really do."

Anna's body shook as sobs took over her body and Delaney had to hide her face in Randy's chest, not being able to look at Anna when she was so distraught. It was incredibly heartbreaking. "Why is this happening to me?!" She placed her face in her hands as Dean rubbed her back soothingly, until she suddenly sat up with a distant look in her eyes. "They're coming."

The lights in the cabin began to crackle and flicker above the group's heads. Dean ordered for Sam to take Anna to the backroom to hide her while he tossed Delaney a salt gun rifle from the duffle bag on the floor.ย

Randy dug around in the duffle bag for his knife, but came up empty. He looked to the three siblings in desperation. "Where's my knife?"

"Randy, about that..." Dean trailed off.

"You're kidding me!"

"Don't look at me," Dean defended, gesturing to Delaney.

Delaney slapped her hands to her side as she felt Randy's death glare in the side of her face. "Thanks, asshole."

Dean merely shot Delaney a smile and turned back to look out the back door of the cabin to see if he could find anything outside that moved.

"Great. Just peachy, Lanes," Randy snapped, sounding the least bit happy with her. "Impeccable timing, really."

Before Delaney could apologize to her boyfriend, the wind outside began to howl followed by the sound of a potted plant breaking just outside the door. All three boys seemed to subconsciously step in front of Delaney - Dean and Sam with their rifles raised and Randy just ready to step up and attack to protect Delaney.

The door to the cabin suddenly burst open, bringing in the vicious winds from outside. The wind quieted down after a moment and the four slowly lowered their arms that had gone to up to protect their faces to see Castiel walk into the cabin followed by Uriel. Randy's eyes went black at the sight of the two angels.

"Please tell me you're here to help," Dean pleaded, lowering his gun once he realized that they weren't in danger. "We've been having issues all day."

"Well, I can see that. You want to explain why you have that stain in the room?" Uriel spat, staring at Randy in disgust as the demon's eyes went back to the brown ones of his vessel.

"I don't know, you haven't told us why you're here yet, Uriel," Delaney quipped, hating the sight of the angel. If it were wrong to hate an angel, Delaney didn't want to be right for the one angel that she did. She smiled in satisfaction when she heard Dean snort a laugh.

"We're here for Anna," Castiel explained.

Sam furrowed his eyebrows and glanced between the two angels. "Here for her, like here for her?"

"Stop talking. Give her to us," Uriel demanded.

"Are you gonna help her?" Delaney questioned, stepping up so she was stood between Dean and Randy. "Cause she needs it right now."

"No. She has to die."
