"Well, then tell me what else it could be?" Delaney huffed at Dean, crossing her arms across her chest.

Sam and Dean had just informed her that they were approached by an angel named Castiel the night prior. Dean had of course lied to her about going out for drinks and dragged Bobby and Sam with him to summon whatever had yanked him out of the Pit. The guy had literally seen Castiel's wings and he was trying to say it wasn't real.ย

"Look, all I know is I was not groped by an angel," Dean argued, leaning back against the kitchen counter behind him while Sam was sat at the table in the corner of the kitchen.

"Okay, Dean, but why would Castiel lie about it?" Sam chimed in, running a hand down his face. "Like Delly said, what else could it be?"

"Maybe he's some kind of demon. Demons lie."

Delaney rose her eyebrows and scoffed, not understanding how Dean could disbelieve something that was right in front of his face. She wasn't there to see what exactly happened with the boys, but Sam had informed her enough that even she could believe it without being there. "Oh? A demon who apparently is immune to salt rounds and devil's traps... and Randy's knife?! Dean, Lilith was scared of that thing."

Dean rolled his eyes and grabbed a slice of pizza from the pizza box that sat next to him, taking a bite out of it. "Don't you think that is angels were real, that some hunter somewhere would have seen one... at some point... ever?!"

Sam snorted and smiled in amusement at Dean. "Yeah. We just did, Dean."

Dean opened his mouth to retort, but clearly came up something because he leant a bit more into the counter. "I'm trying to come up with a theory here! Okay? Work with me."

"Dean, we haveย a theory!" Delaney exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air in frustration.

"Yeah, one with a little less fairy dust on it, please, Delaney."

"Okay, look, I'm not saying we know for sure. I'm just saying that I think we - "

Dean waved his hands in the air to stop Sam from talking. "Okay, okay. That's the point, Sam. We don't know for sure, so I'm not gonna believe that this thing is a freaking angel of the Lord because it says so!"

"You three chuckleheads want to keep arguing religion, or do you want to come take a look at this?" Bobby called from the study connected to the study. He had been sat quietly in his desk ever since the four met back up with his head deep in a book. Once the three siblings were in front of Bobby, he spun the lore book he had been reading around so the trio could see it. "I got stacks of lore - biblical, pre-biblical. Some of its in damn cuneiform. It all says an angel can snatch a soul from the Pit."

"What else?"

"What else... what?" Bobby asked, furrowing his eyebrows at Dean.

"What else could it do?"

"Airlift your ass out of the hot box? As far as I can tell, nothing."

Delaney grinned and turned to Dean who eyed her oddly. "This is good news, Dean. For once, this isn't just another round of demon crap. I mean, maybe you were saved by one of the good guys, you know?"

Dean shook his head as his eyes trailed back to the large lore book on the desk. "Okay. Say it's true. Say there are angels. Then what? There's a God?"

Bobby leant back in his chair and folded his hands in his lap. "At this point, Vegas money is on yeah."

Dean chuckled incredulously and paced the room. "I don't know guys."

"Okay, look. I know you're not all choirboy about this stuff, but this is becoming less and less about faith and more and more about proof."

"Proof?" Dean repeated and stopped pacing, facing his two siblings and Bobby again. "Proof that there's a God out there that actually gives a crap about met personally? I'm sorry, but I'm not buying it."

Delaney placed her hands on her hips and pierced Dean where he was with her stare. "Give me one good reason why not, Dean."

"Because why me?" Dean asked and the question made Delaney flinch at the tone. He still felt like he wasn't good enough to be saved or to take care of her and Sam. He'd always had this insecurity about himself where he didn't think he did enough to save them or John or anyone he cared about really. "If there is a God out there, why would he give a crap about me?! I mean, I've saved some people, okay? I figured that made up for the stealing and the ditching chicks, but why do I deserve to get saved? I'm just a regular guy."

"Apparently, you're a regular guy that's important to the man upstairs," Sam countered with a small shrug.ย

"Well, that creeps me out. I mean, I don't like getting singled out at birthday parties, much less by... God."

"Okay, well, too bad, Dean. I think He wants you to strap on your party hat," Delaney mused.

Dean awkwardly cleared his throat and Delaney could tell this whole situation made him highly uncomfortable. "Alright, what do we know about angels?"

Bobby sighed and grabbed pile of large books, placing them in the middle of the desk. "Start reading."

Dean stared at the pile for a long moment before he turned to Delaney with narrowed eyes. "You're gonna get me some pie."

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

"Yes, Sammy, I promise not to forget the pie for Dean," Delaney groaned into the phone while Sam breathed down her ear about Dean's pie and the chips. She stepped out of the Impala and closed the door behind her, noticing Randy poke his head out from around the corner of the store. "Look, I gotta go. Tell Dean to chill his grill, alright?" She hung up and rushed over to Randy.

"Is it true?"

Delaney skidded to a stop in front of Randy, rising an eyebrow. "You want to be a little more clear about that?"

"Did an angel rescue Dean?"

Delaney blinked, though she shouldn't be shocked Randy knew about Castiel saving Dean. There had to be talk around about the whole thing now that Castiel had showed his face to both Sam and Dean last night. "So you heard."

Randy rolled his eyes and leant his shoulder against the side of the store building, glancing behind him when a customer brushed past him to get to the other side of the parking lot. "Who hasn't, Delaney?"

Delaney scrunched her nose up at Randy's use of her full name, ever only being called princess or Lanes. That only made her realize even more how serious this situation was, not only for Dean but for the demons and other angels. "We're not one hundred percent sure, but I think so."

Randy rolled his lips and nodded, an unreadable expression crossing his face. "Great, okay. Bye, Lanes."

Delaney balked and quickly grabbed Randy's wrist before he could make it further than three steps. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's going on, Ran?"

"Lanes, you seem to forget what I am. I may not be like the others, but I'm still me. The thing that saved your brother is an angel. You know, the same things that try to keep my kind in check? They aren't going to care that I'm being helpful to you or that we have something, okay? They smite first and then ask questions later."

"Do you know anything about them?"

"Not much. I've never met one and I really don't intend on meeting one either. All I know is that they the holy Hell out of me," Randy admitted and slid his arm up so he could link his fingers with Delaney's. "Watch yourself, princess. This is way bigger than you."

"I'm not scared of angels."

Randy offered Delaney a small smile before he leant down and kissed her forehead before he was gone from her sight.

Delaney frowned as her hand dropped limply to her side. How did the Winchester's lives become so complicated?

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

Delaney returned back to Bobby's house and pulled up to see the boys packing up Bobby's trunk with duffle bags. She bent her head so she could glance out the window to Bobby. "Uncle Bobby, what's going on?"

"Just keep the engine running. I got a friend one state over - Olivia Lowry. I've been trying to reach her for three days on this angel thing. It's not like her to ignore this many calls."

"Olivia Lowry - a hunter, right?"

"Yeah. We're gonna go check on her. You guys follow me."

Dean tapped the window on the driver's side and motioned for Delaney to scoot over into the passenger seat while Sam opted on the back seat for this instance. He grabbed the plastic bag from his baby sister and dug through it for his pie, glancing up at her after a long moment of search.ย

"Della, where the hell is my pie?!"

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

Bobby entered Olivia's house first with his gun raised, calling out for the woman in question. It was a small house with all the rooms being connected together and the three froze in the middle of the living room when they noticed Olivia's dead body in the middle of the bedroom across from them. The white rug beneath her was soaked with blood and a gaping hole was in the middle of her chest, the weapons closet open behind her.

Bobby suddenly rushed out of the room and the three siblings slowly stepped towards the room, Sam pointing out the salt line along the floor in between the dividers of the room. They cautiously stepped over the line and Delaney squatted down next to Olivia's body while the boys inspected the weapons closet.ย

Dean picked up the EMF that was left inside the closet and inspected it. "Olivia was rocking the EMF."

"Spirit activity," Sam noted, glancing around the room for any other sign that could help them out. "Never seen a ghost do this to a person before, though."

Bobby slowly reentered the room, his cellphone clutched in his hand. He looked rather freaked out as he closed the phone over. "I called some other hunters nearby... except they ain't answering their phones either."

"Something's up, huh?" Delaney inquired, pushing herself back to her full height.

"You think?"

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

The Winchesters and Bobby split up to see if any of the other hunters nearby were okay and, as Delaney had suspected, all of them were dead. She didn't know what kind of spirit could do this to a person, but she never wanted to meet them in her life. Sam had wound doing the drive back towards Bobby's house and stopped part way there to get more gas in the Impala while Dean slept in the passenger seat and Delaney was sat in the back.

"Sammy, I'm gonna run to the bathroom while you fill up," Delaney informed Sam and stepped out of the car with him.

"Okay, just hurry up, little one. We should really get back to Bobby's," Sam said, brushing past her to get to the pump.

The bathroom was definitely a lot cleaner than Delaney had suspected for a gas station, but tried to be as quick as possible. As she washed her hands in the sink, her breath came out as a mist and she felt the temperature in the bathroom drop dramatically. She slowly rose her head when the mirror above the sink began to fog over with ice and she swiped her jacket sleeve across it, revealing Henriksen stood behind her.

"Heya, Delaney. It's been a while."

Delaney stumbled back into the wall next to the sink and stare wide eyed at the man before her. "Henriksen - are you - did you..."

Henriksen flickered in front of Delaney's face for a moment before he became solid again. "I didn't survive... if that's what you're asking."

"I'm sorry."

"I know you are."

"Look, if we'd known Lilith was coming - "

"You wouldn't have left half a dozen innocent people in that police station to die in your place?" Henriksen finished for Delaney and she felt another shocking chill go down her spine. "You did this to me. It was your fault. She was after you and I paid the price. You left us there to die!"

Henriksen suddenly grabbed Delaney and threw her into the lockers on the side of the public bathroom, sending her crashing to the ground with a groan. Henriksen picked her back up and she noticed a branding on his wrist. However, before Delaney could get a good look at what the branding was, Henriksen threw her against the mirror and then slammed her head against the sink. Delaney crashed to the ground as her head spun and blood trickled down the side of her forehead. She curled into a ball as a gunshot suddenly went off and Henriksen disappeared into smoke.

"It's okay, baby girl, I'm here," Dean said, dropping down next to his sister and helping her get to her feet. He noticed her stumble a bit and resorted to lifting her bridal style and rushed back to the Impala to gently place her in the back. "Sammy, sit back there and make sure she doesn't bleed out, please."

Sam was quick to sit down next to Delaney with a first aid kit in tow, pressing a small rag to Delaney's bleeding forehead while she leant back against him.ย

Dean sat in the driver's seat while he peeled out of the gas station and onto the dark empty road towards Bobby's house. He tried to phone Bobby twice, but each time they rang until the voicemail picked up. "Damn it, Bobby! Pick up!" He glanced in the rearview at Delaney who had her eyes squeezed shut to stop the spinning in her head. "Baby girl, hey! How many fingers am I holding up?"

Delaney peeked an eye open to see Dean hold three fingers up to her, making sure to keep his focus on the road so he wouldn't crash and injure her more. "Three. I'll be fine, Dean."

"Henriksen," Dean commented, slamming a hand on the steering wheel. "Why? What did he want?"

"Revenge because we got him killed," Delaney grumbled, yelping in pain when Sam dabbed a bit of alcohol on her wound to clean it.ย

"Delaney."

"Well, we did, guys," Delaney sighed and flinched when Sam dabbed at the wound on her forehead, but took away the rag when he was sure her bleeding was done.ย

"You stop right there," Dean barked at Delaney. "Whatever the hell is going on, it's happening to us now, okay? I can't get ahold of Bobby, so if you're not thinking answers, don't think at all."

Sam frowned and reached forward to slap Dean upside the head. "Dean, lay off her, would you? She's upset and hurt so can we not be a dick to her for five seconds, please?"

Dean grumbled something incoherently, but pushed harder on the gas towards Bobby.

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

The siblings finally arrived to Bobby's just after daybreak and they were quick to grab a shotgun each, quietly creeping inside of Bobby's. No sound was heard from inside the house and that worried Delaney greatly. He wasn't anywhere on the first floor and nothing seemed out of place, but something still didn't feel right.

Dean whistled at Delaney and Sam to look over at him where he was squat down at the bottom of the steps leading up to the second floor. In front of him was a fire poker made out of iron. Something definitely had to have shown up while the three Winchesters were still on their way back to Bobby's. That meant he was probably somewhere in or around the house in danger.

"I'll go," Dean whispered, gesturing up the steps. "You two go outside."

Delaney and Sam didn't waste any time with rushing out of the house and into the outside Bobby's house. They walked along the lines of broken and salvaged cars that Bobby had collected over the years to scrap and sell for parts. Many of the cars that helped Dean fix up the Impala back when they got in the car accident that nearly ended Dean's life if it weren't for John.ย

"Uncle Bobby!" Delaney called into the lot, checking in and under every car she passed by with Sam. Even going so far to break open anything with a closed trunk, but came up empty every time. She chewed her lower lip anxiously the further down the lot she got with Sam and Bobby didn't make a sound back. "We're here, Uncle Bobby!"

"Delly, wait!" Sam stopped Delaney from continuing down the lot and pointed up to a car above their heads, its side mirror showing Bobby trapped in another girl by two little girls. He rushed back towards the car that was a few cars in and hopped up onto the car beneath it. "Hold on, Bobby! I'm coming."

Sam got the car door opened and was suddenly flung backwards, landing on the windshield of the car below. Delaney gasped when one of the little girls flickered on top of Sam and rushed towards them, grabbing a nearby crowbar and slicing it through the little girl's spirit. She helped Sam get back to his feet, dusting off his jacket for him.

What the hell was going on?

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

"So it's all people we know?"

"Not just know. People we couldn't save," Dean informed from his spot on the couch in Bobby's office as he cleaned and loaded up guns. He was quiet for a minute before he glanced back up at the others stood around Bobby's desk. "I saw something on Mason. Did he have a tattoo when he was alive?"

Dean had apparently seen the spirit of Mason and he had thrown Dean around a little bit, yelling at him for not saving him. Just letting him be possessed by the demon inside him all that time. How his little sister committed suicide after seeing his dead body in the morgue after the paramedics got him from Bobby's.ย

Delaney shook her head and crossed her arms across his chest. "No, he didn't."

"It was like a - a mark on her hand - almost like a brand."

"I saw a mark, too, on Henriksen, but I didn't get a good look at it."

"Dean, what did it look like?" Bobby asked and handed a piece of paper and pencil to Dean when he asked for it.ย

Dean scribbled a quick sketch of the brand on the notepad and held it up for Delaney, Sam and Bobby to see. It was a circle with a cross in the middle of it, circles on each end of it and a diamond in the middle of the cross. "This."

Delaney nodded and pointed at the sketch Dean had made. The brief moment she saw the brand had a resemblance to that. "Yeah, pretty sure that was the mark on Henriksen, too."

Bobby took the notepad from Delaney when she held it out for him after Dean passed it to her. He inspected the brand and his face screwed up in deep thought. "I may have seen this before. We got to move."

Sam blinked when he was suddenly handed a pile of books from Bobby when the radio in the room turned on by its own accord. "Whoa. Where are we going?"

"Some place safe, you idjit. Just follow me," Bobby replied, grabbing a pile of books himself and leading the Winchesters down to the basement.ย

At the end of the basement was an iron door that Bobby had to pry open to get into, revealing a room covered in various pentagrams, devil traps and made out of iron. The walls were lined with multiple weapons, a desk was pushed to one side of the room with a small cot on one side of it and a brown leather chair on the other side. A fan high above in the ceiling circled slowly and silently.

"Bobby, is this..."

"Solid iron," Bobby finished for Sam, shutting the door behind him and glancing around the room. "Completely coated in salt. One hundred percent ghost proof."

Delaney let out an amused laugh and crossed her arms. "Youย built a panic room, Uncle Bobby?"

"I had a weekend off and you were off at college. I was bored," Bobby defended.

"Bobby," Dean called and messed with the katana in his hand. "You're awesome."

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

A bit later, Delaney sat at the table with Dean making iron salt bullets while Sam and Bobby sat at the desk together, scouring over the lore books for what the brands were. Dean would press down the salt and iron while Delaney melded the two together into a small bullet.

"You see, this is why I can't get behind God."

"What are you talking about, Dean?"

"If he doesn't exist, fine. Bad crap happens to good people. That's how it is. There's no rhyme or reason - just random, horrible evil - I get it, okay. I can roll with that. However, if he isย out there, what's wrong with him? Where the hell is he while all these decent people are getting torn to shreds? How does he live with himself? You know, why doesn't he help?"

Delaney shot Bobby and Sam a desperate look for help. She was out of ideas to tell Dean at this rate. It was obvious this would be one thing that would take a long time to wrap Dean's head around.ย

"I ain't touching this one with a ten foot pole, sweetheart," Bobby shot down and tapped his pencil against the open book in front of him. "I found it. The symbol Dean and Delaney saw - the brand on the ghosts... Mark of the Witness."

"Witness? Witness to what?" Sam questioned.

"The unnatural. None of them died what you'd call ordinary deaths. See, these ghosts - they were forcedย to rise. They woke up in agony. They were like rabid dogs. It ain't their fault. Someone rose them... on purpose."

"Who?" Delaney questioned, turning in her seat and bracing her hands on the back of it.

"Do I look like I know? Whoever it was used a spell so powerful it left a mark, a brand on their souls. Whoever did this had big plans. It's called the Rising of the Witnesses. It figures into an ancient prophecy."

Dean slowly pushed himself out of his chair and walked over to stand behind Bobby's chair and glance at the book over his shoulder. "Wait - wait. What - what book is that prophecy from?"

Bobby shrugged and skimmed through the page quickly. "Well, the widely distributed version's just for tourists, you know. Long story short - Revelations. This is a sign, guys."

"A sign of what?" the three siblings chorused together.

"The apocalypse."

Delaney barked out a laugh and walked over to where the three boys were, an incredulous expression on her face. "Apocalypse? Like actual apocalypse? The Four Horseman, Pestilence, five dollars a gallon?"

Bobby nodded and gestured to the lore book. "The Rise of the Witnessesย is a mile marker."

"Okay, so, what do we do now then?" Sam asked."

"Road trip. Grand Canyon, Star Trek Experience," Dean clapped his hands, rubbing them together. "Bunny Ranch."

"First things first. How about we survive our friends out there?"

Dean scoffed and walked back over to his chair, dropping down into it. "Got a better idea than sitting in here until Judgement Day?"

"It's a spell to send the witnesses back to rest. Should work...if I translate it correctly."

"Should," Delaney parroted and slapped a hand to her side. "That's just great."

"I think I got everything we need here at the house."

"Any chance you got everything we need here in this room?"

Bobby gave Dean a deadpan expression. "You really thought our luck was gonna start now all of a sudden? Spell's got to be cast over an open fire."

Sam chuckled as he realized where they had to go. "Fireplace in your study."

Dean whined and rubbed his forehead with a pout. "That's not as appealing as a ghost-proof panic room, you know?"

Delaney and Sam merely ignored Dean and prepared with Bobby to get ready to go back outside. They loaded up all the shotguns they had brought into the panic room with them with the bullets Delaney and Dean had made, making sure they were filled to the brim.

"Okay, cover each other and aim careful. Don't run out of ammo until I'm done, or they'll shred you," Bobby instructed and opened up the panic room door, slowly leading the way out of the room and towards the stairs.ย

A ghost with curly brown hair at the top of the stairs alerted the four and it took Delaney a moment to realize it was Ronald from their Nightshifter case. He had been shot by the police through the bank's windows and Delaney flinched at the memory of that night.

"Ronald, huh? With the laser eyes?" Dean said and motioned to his eyes, staring at the curly haired male nervously. "Wish I could say it was good to see you."

"I am dead because of you," Ronald accused, pulling himself to his feet with the help of the banisters. "You were supposed to help me!"

Bobby fired off a shot and Ronald's spirit disappeared into smoke. He turned to Dean with an annoyed expression. "You gonna shoot, shoot. Don't talk." He lead the rest of the way up the steps and into the study where he rushed over to the desk and placed his weapon down on the desk.ย

Sam made a salt circle around the room while Dean lit a match and set up the fire for Bobby to use during the spell.ย

"Laney, upstairs in the linen closet - red hex box. It'll be heavy."

"Okay, Uncle Bobby," Delaney nodded and ran out of the room towards the stairs that lead up tot he second floor. She took the steps two at a time and made her way over to the second door on the left, opening it up. Luckily for her, the heavy red box was on the second shelf so she wouldn't have to struggle getting it down.

"You know what reallyย pisses me off, Laney?"

Delaney whirled around to see Mason's spirit stood a few feet from her. She shot off the shot gun a second too late, because Mason flickered from view and popped up behind Delaney this time. She turned around to face Mason again, her shotgun still held up in defense.

"You saw how I suffered for months. I thought you must have learned something. I thought I died for something."

"Mason," Delaney breathed.

"But what you're doing with your little demon boyfriend, Randy..." Mason trailed off and Delaney felt the guilt nearly knock her over. "How many innocent bodies has Randy burned through for kicks? How many boys just like me? You don't send himย back to Hell?! You're a monster!"

Delaney growled and shot off the gun, disappearing Mason into smoke. She didn't wait around for Mason to come back, grabbing the hex box and rushed into the kitchen when she heard Dean's and Henriksen's voices. With the red hex box tucked under her arm, Delaney raised her free arm and shot Henriksen who had his hand dug into Dean's chest. Once Henriksen disappeared, Dean gagged and gasped as he fell to the ground and propped himself up against the kitchen cabinets.

"Dee, you okay?"

"No!" Dean grunted, rubbing his chest.

Delaney puffed out her cheeks and helped Dean back up to his feet. The two siblings rushed into the study where Bobby and Sam continued to prep the desk together with what they had so far. Delaney and Dean placed their items down on the desk just as Ronald reappeared again.

"Ronald. Hey, come on, man. I thought we were pals," Dean mused.

"That's when I was breathing. Now I'm gonna eat you alive."

Dean chuckled softly and cocked his shotgun. "Hey, come on... I'm not a cheeseburger."

Dean cocked his gun and pointed it at Ronald, but Ronald had vanished. Bobby began to recite some Latin words and the windows blew open and a wind began to fill the room. The wind moved the salt so the Winchesters and Bobby were no longer protected by it, allowing the spirits to keep appearing.ย

Mason appeared and Delaney quickly shot at him as Bobby continued to recite the spell. Ronald appeared and Delaney, Dean and Sam shot at him. As the spirits kept appearing, the siblings took turns in firing off their shotguns to try and conserve some bullets while Bobby finished up the spell. Henriksen knocked Dena's gun out of his hands when he went to reload and began to approach him. Dean grabbed another gun and shot it, only to find it empty. He quickly picked up an iron rod and swung at Henriksen.ย

Mason appeared in front of Delaney and pushed Delaney against the wall, trapping her there with a desk. Delaney tried to break free of the desk, but the invisible force that kept it there was too strong for her to push at it.

"Delly!"

"You two cover Bobby!" Delaney yelled, still trying to pry the desk off her.

Bobby continued to recite the spell and Delaney struggled to get out from behind the desk. The twin girls appeared on the desk in front of Delaney's face and she hurled herself back against the wall to keep the distance between them. Mason reappeared behind Bobby and plunged a hand into Bobby's back. He dropped the bowl of the ingredients that Dean had thankfully caught with his quick reflexes.

"Dean! Fireplace!" Bobby gasped out.

Dean stumbled over to the fireplace and dumped the ingredients into the fireplace, the fire burning a bright blue. Almost instantly, Mason and the twin girls disappeared from sight. The four kept quiet for a long moment and waited to see if anyone appeared, but they didn't.ย

Delaney had finally freed herself from the desk and slumped against the wall, closing her eyes and leaning her head back against the wall. She had never been more grateful for a case to be over in her life.

โŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโŠถโœžโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠทโŠท

The next morning, Delaney had woken up before her two brothers and Bobby. The three had fallen asleep in Bobby's study while Bobby went up to his room for a much needed good night's rest. Usually, Delaney was the last one up between the three of them so it was definitely weird to be dressed and caffeinated before either of the boys opened their eyes. Plus, it left her to her thoughts which were never a good thing. Not when they consisted of where Randy even was right now since he hadn't even so much as texted her and Mason's words kept playing in her head.ย

Delaney knew more than anyone that what she was doing with Randy was the furthest thing from okay. That dating a demonย was the last thing any hunter should ever do. However, Delaney wanted to give Randy the chance. He had shown to her over the four months Dean was dead that she could trust him and he wasn't against her, but rather on the hunters' sides. Not like anyone else would see it that way.

Dean and Sam had jerked awake, both gasping and quickly checked their surroundings as if they had to remind themselves of where they really were.

Delaney slowly sat back down on the couch that she had slept on the night prior and eyed her brothers worriedly. "Dee? Sammy? You okay?"

"So..." Dean cleared his throat and he could barely keep eye contact with Delaney which was odd. Even Sam looked anywhere but her eyes at the moment. "You really believe in God and angels?"

Delaney tucked her feet underneath her and leant her elbows on her knees. "I mean... no, not really. There's demons and ... Lilith. So... there's gotta be a higher being out there, right?"

Sam chewed on his lower lip, seeming as if he didn't know if he should say what he wanted to. "So you'd believe in the Devil? You know... Lucifer?"

Delaney's eyes bounced between her two worried and terrified looking brothers. "Why are you asking me this exactly?"

Sam and Dean exchanged an unreadable expression with each other that Delaney couldn't decipher. Neither of the boys made any move to speak and Delaney frowned, collapsing back against the couch.ย

What were the boys hiding from her?

AUTHORS NOTE

Hi hey hello

CASTIEL HAS GRACED US PEOPLE, WOOO! Next chapter will be in Dean and Sam's POV because I really don't want to skip this next episode. I love it so much and I want to write it. I originally thought about skipping it and just going to episode four since Delaney wouldn't be in that episode (like Sam). But EH FUCK IT WE'LL DO IT!
