AS ELENA WAS INVITING STEFAN IN THE Salvatore home, Ophelia laughed at Damon, who was still not invited in yet. The view of him not being allowed in his own home was hilarious to Ophelia.
"Wait, wait, Elena, don't invite him in yet. This is too funny. Let me enjoy this. " Damon playfully rolled his eyes as Ophelia couldn't stop laughing.
"What are we, twelve?"
"One of us is."
" If I let you in, do you promise to obey the owner of this house?" Elena said.
"No." Ophelia gave Damon a serious look.
"Seriously, Damon. My way. You promised. I call the shots. No lies, no secret agendas. Remember?" Damon looked at Ophelia and she nodded her head slightly, making him sigh in defeat.
"Yes, Elena, sure."
"Then please come on in", Ophelia poked his arm repeatedly when Damon walked inside, messing with him, but he slapped her hand away.
Elena, Bonnie, and Ophelia were backing back backpacks, earning confused looks from the Salvatore brothers.
"Wait, where are you going?" Stefan asked, curious at where the girls were going.
"To school."
"No, no, no. We didn't create a safe house for you to leave it." Ophelia sighed slightly as Elena was trying to convince the brothers that they were not prisoners and would rather be having fun at school.
"Don't worry, okay? If Klaus shows his face, we can take him. Plus, we have Bonnie too." Ophelia tried to reassure the brothers that they will be okay alone. Eventually, they gave in told Ophelia that she should drive to school.
Luckily they made it to school alive.

Ophelia sat down at her desk, plopping in it, ready to start off the day with her favorite class. History.
Perhaps she was biased since her teacher was pretty much family, but in general, Ophelia enjoyed history and where everything came from.
Elena turned to Ophelia and Bonnie, holding the decade's dance poster and they all nodded their heads in excitement.
"Hello, class. What are we learning today?"
"With the decade dance tonight, we've been covering the sixties all week," a student said making Alaric/Klaus reminisce on his times during the sixties.
Klaus was staring around the class and his eyes landed on Ophelia, making him gasp in surprise. He hasn't seen his niece in over a century and he felt an abundant amount of emotions overwhelm him.
"Impossible. Ophelia?" Klaus said, still wondering if his mind was playing tricks on him.
"Yes, Ric?"
The students all looked at him, wondering if their history teacher was okay, considering how long he was staring at Ophelia.
" U-Um the sixties. I wish there was something good I could say about the sixties, but...actually, they kind of sucked. Except for the Beatles, of course. They made it bearable. Uh, what else was there? The Cuban missile thing, the...we walked on the moon. There was Watergate."
"Watergate was the seventies, Ric. I-I mean, Mr. Saltzman," Ophelia said. Klaus just looked at his niece, already proud that her knowledge of history is sharp.
"Right. It all kind of mushes together up here, the sixties, seventies. Thank you, O-Ophelia."

The time for the dance finally came and Ophelia walked into the school gymnasium with Damon, their hands brushing against each other, making her blush immensely.
"You know, if you want to hold my hand, just say so," Damon said, cockily with his signature smirk.
"Please, as if I would ever want to hold your grimy hands." Ophelia was about to pull her hands up to her chest, until Damon immediately grabbed her left hand, their fingers intertwining.
"I never said I didn't want to hold your hand." Damon's voice was low and seductive, sending chills all over Ophelia's body.
Ophelia smiled as she walked hand-in-hand with Damon on the dance floor. She turned her head to see Alaric staring at her. She thought maybe he zoned out, so she waved her hand slightly, taking Alaric out of his trance.
Ophelia smiled at Alaric/Klaus and he smiled back.
The rest of the gang then started to dance to the slow songs to try and avoid Klaus. Damon and Ophelia were dancing with each other, but that was interrupted shortly when Stefan pulled Damon away.
"Please tell me you didn't know that Bonnie was on a suicide mission." Ophelia widened her eyes, shocked that her sister would even consider this.
"Oh, great. Jeremy told you and of course, you told Elena."
"Wait what? Damon, why would you even let her go through with this mission. It's literally suicide!" Ophelia was on the verge of yelling, now upset at Damon.
༻❁༺
Ophelia, Bonnie, and Elena were speed walking around the school, looking for Jeremy who was supposedly 'taken' by Klaus.
"Wait, where are you taking us?"
"Just a little further."
"Wait, something is not right. Where is Jeremy?"
The girls stared at each other in confusion, wondering why Alaric was laughing like a maniac.
"I just had to get away from that dance. The sixties, ugh. Not my decade. I much prefer the twenties. The style, the parties, the jazz."
"Alaric, are you okay?" Ophelia was pushing her friends behind her slightly, but Bonnie beat her to it.
"Woah, wait, what's going on?" Bonnie said, starting to get nervous about what was happening.
"Okay, I'll give you a hint. I am not Alaric."
"Oh my god, Klaus," Ophelia said, earning a smile from Klaus who had a proud look on his face.
"Relax, you're not on my hit list tonight, Elena. And as for you," Klaus said, pointing at Ophelia, " I will never harm someone you in my life, sweetheart."
Ophelia stared at Klaus in horror, freaked out that the past few weeks consisted of 1000-year-old vampires treating her weirdly.
"What do you want with me? Why are you so obsessed with me?" Ophelia almost had tears streaming down her face, her body shaking slightly.
"Oh don't worry, love. As I said, I will never hurt you. Also, it's not my story to tell you the truth."
Ophelia scrunched her eyebrows in confusion, wondering what Klaus was going at when he said "truth", but that was not her priority at the moment.
"Ophelia, Elena, run!" They started to run as Bonnie tried t hold back Klaus with her magic.
As they were running, they found themselves back in the gymnasium where they ran into Damon and Stefan.
"Woah, what's wrong?"
"Klaus is here and Bonnie is with him now." The brothers started to run with Elena and Ophelia, hoping to find where Bonnie was at.
"In there." The group ran to the cafeteria where Bonnie was breaking Klaus' bones. As they were trying to enter, Bonnie closed the doors with her magic. Ophelia desperately tried to open them, knowing her sister is in danger and could possibly die if she was with Klaus alone.
"Bonnie, please!" Ophelia was choking on her sobs as her sister turned to look at her shoulder and mouthed, "I love you."
Sparks started to fly everywhere and Bonnie immediately fell to the floor.
"Oh my god, Bonnie!" Ophelia ran to her sister's side, begging that she would wake up.
"Bonnie! Bonnie! Please don't leave me. You're the only family I have left." Ophelia was now full-on sobbing as she stared at her sister who was lying dead on the floor.
"I'm sorry Bonnie, I'm so sorry."

After the dreadful night, Ophelia found herself back at the Salvatore home, still distraught over her sister's death.
Damon walked into the living room and the only thing Ophelia can feel right now was anger. She was angry at Damon and how he would just let Bonnie die like that.
"How could you? You knew she was going to die, and you didn't even try to stop her."
"Can you please calm her down?" Ophelia stood up from her seat and went straight towards Damon, preventing herself from the grudge of slapping him.
"Don't you dare tell me to calm down now. You let my sister die and I will never forgive you. I hate you, Damon. I hate you." Ophelia said as she started to slap Damon. He caught her hands mid-air and held them to his chest.
"I need you to listen to me."
Damon started to explain how Bonnie is not really dead and she was safe with Jeremy now. A large breath Ophelia didn't even know she was holding, was let go. After Ophelia got off the phone with Bonnie, she walked into the room where Damon was at.
"Bonnie is alive."
"Here's to duplicity."
"Look, I shouldn't have hit you." Damon accepted her apology and drank the last sip of bourbon that was in his crystal cup.
"Let me be clear about something, if it comes down to you and the witch again, I will gladly let Bonnie die. I will always choose you."
It was too late in the night for Ophelia to argue back so she just left it at that. As much as she wanted to debate, she wanted to sleep.
"Goodnight, Damon."
"Goodnight, Ophelia."
