The atmosphere was electric, pulsating with loud music that seemed to vibrate through the very walls. The dimly lit room was awash with neon lights, casting a kaleidoscope of colors over the crowd swaying to the beat. People laughed, danced, and shouted over the music, creating an energy that was almost tangible.

Yn stepped inside hesitantly, her eyes widening as the music hit her like a wave. She instinctively covered her ears for a moment, glancing around at the unfamiliar scene. Zara, on the other hand, seemed completely at ease. Her face lit up with a mischievous grin as she watched Ynโ€™s reaction.

Leaning in close to be heard over the thundering bass, Yn yelled, โ€œZara, isnโ€™t it a bit too loud in here?โ€

Zara smirked, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She grabbed Ynโ€™s arm and began pulling her deeper into the crowd. โ€œThatโ€™s the whole point! People come here to let loose, to have fun! Trust me, youโ€™ll love it.โ€

Yn stumbled slightly as Zara tugged her forward, weaving through the sea of people. Her heart pounded, partly from the overwhelming noise and partly from the thrill of being somewhere so different from her usual comfort zone. Zaraโ€™s energy was infectious, and despite her initial hesitation, Yn felt a small smile creeping onto her face.

They finally reached the bar, which was just as lively as the rest of the place. Bottles of every shape and size lined the shelves, glowing under the neon lights. The bartender was a blur of motion, expertly mixing drinks and sliding them down the counter to waiting patrons.

Zara turned to Yn, her grin widening as she gestured toward the bar. โ€œHave a drink, girlfriend! You canโ€™t come to a place like this and not have at least one.โ€

Yn chuckled, shaking her head slightly at Zaraโ€™s enthusiasm. โ€œFine, fine. But just one.โ€

Zara laughed and signaled to the bartender, who quickly placed a shot of vodka in front of Yn. Taking a deep breath, Yn picked up the shot glass and raised it to Zara in a mock toast. โ€œHereโ€™s to trying new things.โ€

With that, she tipped her head back and downed the vodka in one go. The liquid burned its way down her throat, leaving a warmth in its wake. She winced slightly but couldnโ€™t help the laugh that bubbled up as Zara cheered loudly, clapping her hands.

โ€œThere you go! Thatโ€™s the spirit!โ€ Zara exclaimed, her voice almost drowned out by the music.

Yn shook her head, still laughing, and looked around the vibrant room. Maybe Zara was right. Tonight wasnโ€™t about overthinking. It was about living in the moment, and as the music thumped in her chest, Yn decided she might just enjoy herself after all.

Yn placed the empty shot glass on the bar with a slight wince as the vodkaโ€™s warmth spread through her chest. She glanced at Zara, whose mischievous grin was wider than ever. The music thumped through the air, louder and more intoxicating than the drink sheโ€™d just downed. Zara leaned closer, her voice cutting through the pulsating rhythm like a spark.

โ€œNow that youโ€™ve loosened up, itโ€™s time to dance!โ€

Before Yn could protest, Zara grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the center of the dance floor. Yn stumbled slightly, trying to keep up, the bass vibrating through the soles of her shoes and sending shivers up her spine.

The crowd was alive, a mass of bodies moving in sync with the music. The flashing neon lights painted the room in shifting colors, illuminating faces of pure joy and abandon. Zara let go of Ynโ€™s hand and spun around, her laughter blending with the music.

โ€œCome on, Yn!โ€ Zara shouted, throwing her arms up and swaying to the beat. โ€œFeel the music! Just let go!โ€

Yn hesitated, feeling a bit self-conscious as she stood amidst the swirling crowd. But as she watched Zara move so freely, so effortlessly, she couldnโ€™t help but feel a tug of inspiration. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and let the music wash over her.

At first, her movements were tentative, small steps and cautious sways. But as the rhythm seeped into her veins, Yn began to lose herself in it. Her arms moved, her hips swayed, and soon she was dancing, really dancing, in a way she hadnโ€™t allowed herself to in years.

Zara noticed the change immediately and let out an excited cheer. โ€œThere she is! Thatโ€™s my girl!โ€

The two of them moved together, laughing and spinning under the flashing lights. Zara twirled Yn around, their laughter blending with the pulsing beat of the music. The world beyond the dance floor faded awayโ€”no worries, no responsibilities, just the moment and the music.

The DJ switched the track, and the tempo picked up. Zara grabbed Ynโ€™s hands, pulling her into a playful shimmy. Yn couldnโ€™t stop the grin that spread across her face. For the first time in a long while, she felt freeโ€”untethered and alive.

Song after song played, and the two friends didnโ€™t stop. They danced like no one was watching, their movements growing bolder, their laughter louder. Zaraโ€™s energy was infectious, and Yn found herself matching her stride for stride, spinning and twirling until they were both breathless.

When the song finally ended, Yn bent over, hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. Zara was no better, her hair sticking to her forehead, her cheeks flushed.

โ€œThat,โ€ Yn said between gasps, โ€œwas amazing.โ€

Zara grinned, placing a hand on Ynโ€™s shoulder. โ€œTold you! This is what lifeโ€™s about, Yn. Good music, good vibes, and letting go.โ€

Yn straightened up and laughed, the sound full of warmth and joy. โ€œAlright, you win. Tonightโ€™s your night. Lead the way, Zara.โ€

And with that, the two of them dove back into the crowd, ready for whatever the night had in store.

AFTER AN HOUR.

The night had taken a toll on Yn, and now she found herself slumped over the bar table, her head resting heavily on her folded arms.

The loud, energetic vibe of the place seemed to fade into a dull hum in her mind as she stared at the empty shot glasses lined up before her. The burn of the vodka still lingered, but it was nothing compared to the fog creeping into her thoughts.

She glanced around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Zara, but her friend was nowhere to be found. Zara had disappeared into the crowd.

Her laughter trailing behind her as she left with a boy sheโ€™d just met. Typical Zara, Yn thought with a faint smile, shaking her head slightly.

Alone and feeling the weight of the night pressing down on her, Yn sighed and fished her phone out of her bag.

Her fingers hovered over the screen, hesitating for a moment before she tapped on her brotherโ€™s name in her contacts. She needed someone to take her homeโ€”someone she could trust.

The phone rang once, twice, and then clicked as the call connected.

โ€œHello?โ€ The voice on the other end was deep, unfamiliar, and definitely not her brotherโ€™s.

Yn blinked, her slightly foggy brain struggling to process the situation. She pulled the phone back to look at the screen, confirming sheโ€™d dialed the right number. โ€œUhโ€ฆ Yoongi?โ€ she asked hesitantly, her voice slurring slightly from the drinks.

โ€œNo, this isnโ€™t Yoongi,โ€ the voice replied, sounding confused. โ€œWhoโ€™s this?โ€

Ynโ€™s heart skipped a beat, a strange mix of embarrassment and panic rising in her chest. โ€œOh, Iโ€”I think I called the wrong number. Sorry about that.โ€ She was about to hang up when the voice stopped her.

โ€œWait. Are you alright? You soundโ€ฆ off,โ€ the person said, concern lacing their tone.

โ€œIโ€™m fine,โ€ Yn mumbled, though the slight wobble in her voice betrayed her. โ€œJustโ€ฆ at a bar. My friend left, and I need to get home.โ€

There was a pause on the other end, then the voice softened. โ€œBar? Itโ€™s not safe to be alone like that. I'm coming.โ€

Yn hesitated, her instincts warning her against trusting a stranger. But there was something comforting about the voice on the line, something steady amidst the chaos of her night. She bit her lip, debating her options.

โ€œIโ€”umโ€ฆ no, itโ€™s okay. Iโ€™ll try calling someone else,โ€ she finally said, her fingers already scrolling through her contacts.

โ€œ No yn, it's not safe for you to stay out alone at a fucking bar..โ€, his deep rough vocals made her heart beat increase. She knew the voice.

Before she could respond, the line ended. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair before her head touched the table, passing out.

TEN MINUTES LATER.

The screeching of the car's tire echoed, the man blew out a heavy sigh upon reaching the bar. His eyes vigorously outside the bar before he made his way inside.

His steps heavy and fast, he searched for the figure with concern and worry on his mind.

It wasn't safe for a girl like her out alone in the bar, she wasn't the other type of girls he knew. She was soft and a captivating light that lit inside her was addictive.

He couldn't help but worry about her, what if someone did something? No, absolutely not! He'll kill him.

He looked around buzzing bar, his jaw clenched tightly. The place was chaosโ€”flashing neon lights, the thundering beat of music spilling onto the street, and groups of people laughing loudly as they milled about the entrance.

He stepped ahead in search of her, his usual calm veneer cracking ever so slightly as worry simmered beneath the surface.

Where the hell is she?

Pushing past a group of partygoers blocking the entrance, Jungkook made his way inside. The overwhelming noise and flashing lights did little to help his already fraying patience.

His sharp eyes scanned the crowd, searching for her familiar figure. But all he saw were strangersโ€”dancing, drinking, and shouting over the music.

โ€œDamn it,โ€ he muttered under his breath, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

His concern was starting to morph into anger. Not at her, but at the situation. She was alone, tipsy, and vulnerable in a place like this, and he couldnโ€™t help but think of all the things that could go wrong. The thought made his stomach churn.

He moved through the crowd, his movements quick and purposeful. A few people tried to catch his attentionโ€”some with flirtatious smiles, others with curious glancesโ€”but he brushed past them without a second thought. His focus was singular: find Yn.

It took him longer than he wanted, his frustration mounting with every passing second. Finally, near the bar, he spotted her.

She was slumped over a small table, her head resting on her arms, surrounded by empty shot glasses. Her hair was messy, her face flushed from the alcohol, and she looked utterly out of place amidst the chaotic energy of the bar.

Relief washed over him first, but it was quickly followed by a sharp spike of anger. He strode over, his steps brisk and purposeful.

โ€œYn,โ€ he called out, his voice clipped as he stopped in front of her.

She looked so small, so vulnerable, in contrast to the chaos around her.

His chest tightened at the sight.

โ€œYn,โ€ he called out, his voice steady but softer than usual.

She stirred slightly, lifting her head with a dazed look. Her eyes met his, and recognition flickered in them, though it was quickly replaced by embarrassment. โ€œJungkook?โ€ she murmured, blinking as if trying to confirm he was really there.

He stepped closer, his cold exterior cracking just enough to let concern seep through. โ€œWhat are you doing here like this?โ€ he asked, his tone gentle but firm.

Yn tried to straighten up, but the alcohol still muddled her movements. โ€œ Iโ€ฆ Zara left, and I didnโ€™t know what to do. I called Yoongi, butโ€ฆโ€ She trailed off, biting her lip as she realized the chain of events that led to him being here, her eyes still hazy.

Jungkook sighed, running a hand through his dark hair. โ€œAnd instead, you called me,โ€ he said, more to himself than to her.

He crouched slightly, bringing himself to her eye level. โ€œ You couldโ€™ve gotten hurt, Yn. Do you even realize that?โ€

Her cheeks flushed, a mix of shame and the lingering effects of the alcohol. โ€œ Iโ€™m sorry. I didnโ€™t mean to bother you.โ€ she looked down, her head supply down, indicating that she was absolutely drunk.

Jungkook shook his head, the frustration in his posture softening as he looked at her. โ€œYouโ€™re not bothering me,โ€ he said quietly. โ€œIโ€™m justโ€ฆ worried about you.โ€

The sincerity in his voice caught her off guard. She blinked, unsure how to respond, as he straightened and offered his hand. โ€œCome on,โ€ he said. โ€œLetโ€™s get you out of here.โ€

Yn hesitated for a moment before taking his hand. His grip was firm but careful, steadying her as she got to her feet. She stumbled slightly, and his arm instinctively went around her waist, keeping her close.

As they made their way toward the exit, the cold night air hit them like a refreshing wave.

Yn breathed it in, feeling slightly more grounded. Jungkook guided her to his car, opening the door for her before helping her inside.

As he settled into the driverโ€™s seat, his hands gripping the steering wheel, he glanced over at her. Her head rested against the window, her eyes half-closed, but she still managed a faint smile.

โ€œThanks, Jungkook,โ€ she murmured, her voice soft and sincere.

He didnโ€™t reply immediately, his eyes fixed on the road ahead. But the faintest hint of a smile tugged at the corners of his lips, and for a moment, his usual cold demeanor melted away.

โ€œJustโ€ฆ donโ€™t go somewhere like that again,โ€ he finally said, his voice almost too soft to hear.

Yn nodded, her eyes fluttering shut as the car began to move, the hum of the engine lulling her into a peaceful quiet.

โ€œ i-i am sorry Jungkook.โ€, she muttered drunk before she completely went to sleep in his car.
