ALLIE was walking around the Silverstone paddock, her jacket blowing slightly in the soft wind.

She was walking around, headphones in, blasting Death By a Thousand Cuts making sure she had everything perfect before she performed the song infront of all the fans. Allie had been doing this all weekend, the moment she arrived on Friday for practice, and now before Qualifying. She was very nervous, even though as Mick had said, she knew the song back to front.

She was also nervous about Mick. They had promised to meet up in the paddock to talk, but she hadn't seen him yet. Allie thought about walking back to the RedBull garage to see Max and Checo, until she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see Mick stood beside her, a small grin on his face. "Hey."

Allie smiled glad he didn't feel awkward around her. It gave her a small confidence boost. "Hi."

"Wanna' take a walk?" Mick asked.

Allie nodded, "Yeah sure."

The pair began to walk, making small talk as they went. They talked about boring things, the weather and few new stories, until Allie asked Mick about his race weekend so far, and that was it.

Mick began to give Allie the full low-down on how his weekend had gone, with statistics and strategies. Allie couldn't help but cling onto his every word. When Mick talked about racing, all his passion for the sport was shown and you could tell how much love he had for it. Allie found it cute how happy Mick got when talking about F1. It was what had made her fall for him in the first place.

Mick caught her staring and stopped talking. "Sorry, am I rambling?"

Allie shook her head instantly, "No, no you're not." she promised.

Mick chuckled slightly and looked down at the floor. Allie frowned slightly and nudged his side, "What?"

Mick straightened up and turned to look at Allie, "This just reminds me of our first date. That's all."

Allie stated at Mick, as she remembered their first date after their meeting at the Christmas Party. Max had been a sort of messanger between the two, and had given Mick Allie's number, who proceeded to ask the Lawson girl out.

UNDISCLOSED RESTRAUNT
JANUARY 2020

"So really, if I keep going with F2, push myself, there's a chance I could get scouted for F1. I've got people looking at me already, because I'm Ferrari Junior." Mick said, as Allie took a sip from her glass of wine.

The blond stopped himself before he went any further and glanced at Allie."I'm sorry, am I rambling?"

Allie placed her drink down firmly and leaned over the table slightly. "No of course not, trust me I know when someone rambles. I'm best friends with Max." she joked.

Mick. let out a small laugh and Allie smiled. "I asked you about your future career. I want to know. I'm Interested." she assured him.

Mick smiled at Allie. He'd never had a girl tell him she was interested in his career. Not unless they wanted something. He looked around the fancy restaurant, sighing. He turned back to Allie and spoke,"Do you want to get out of here? There's an Ice-cream place down the street, it's always empty after 5 pm."

Allie grinned widley and nodded, they two getting up from the table, Mick leaving money beside his wine glass, refusing to let Allie split the cost.

The two walked out of the restaurant and Mick lead Allie towards the ice-cream shop. The neon signs flickered slightly in the dark, winter atmosphere, and Allie could see through the bright windows there was only one other couple sat on a booth.

Mick opened the door and stood aside to let Allie in and walked in after her. The man behind the counter looked up at his new customers and beamed. "Schumacher! Aye, long time no see!" he said, his Italian accent strong.

Mick walked up to the counter with Allie by his side and shook the man's hnd. "Gianni. You good?"

Gianni waved a hand. "Always." he spotted Allie stood beside Mick, and offered his hand for her to shake. "Ciao! I'm Gianni, friend of Mick here."

Allie took his hand and shook it. "I'm Allie. It's really nice to meet you."

"Pleasure is all mine. Now what can I get for you?" Gianni asked.

Allie peered down at the ice-cream flavours, deciding. She felt Mick slide an arm across her waist and she looked up at him, "Get anything you want," he said, "I'm paying."

Allie frowned, "You just payed at the rest-"

But Mick want hearing it. "I do not care. I'm paying. I asked you out, therefore I pay."

Allie rolled her eyes, but knew Mick was not to be argued with. She asked Gianni for a simple Mint-Chocolate, before heading to find a seat.

Mick watched her walk towards a botth by the window, and watched as she stared out of it, watching the few drops of rain which had just started.

A finger was clicked in his face, and he turned to see Gianni looking at him. "Who's she and why has she got you whipped?"

Mick gave Gianni a sarcastic smile before ordering himself Raspberry and White Chocolate.

Gianni walked over to the ice-cream counter and began to scoop their orders into bowls. "I'm just saying, when you were staring at her then, you looked deep in it."

Mick leaned against the marble counter. "She's perfect."

Gianni whistled. "You are whipped! Where'd you find her?"

"Christmas part last month. She's a friend of Max's. Came to the party with him. She's friends with Charles and Char too." Mick informed his friend.

Gianni placed their orders down and entered something into the till before giving Mick the price. Mick fished some cash out of his pocket and gave it to Gianni, who spoke again."Well considering you've never let me. meet your dates before, I can tell she's special." he smiled at Mick before giving him his change.

Mick took the change and placed it in his pocket, taking to two bowls from the counter. "Yeah she is."

SILVERSTONE CIRCUIT
JULY 2021

"I remember that!" Allie gasped. "Gianni's Italian Gelato! Not to toot your horn or anything, but that was probably the best first date I've ever had."

Mick snickered slightly, "No, I thought your best first date woukd have been with Holland." he said, with large amounts of sarcasm.

Allie hit Mick pursing her lips together, trying not to laugh, "Don't you dare." she said, small chuckled escaping her lips.

Mick laughed as he remembered having to save Allie from the touture that was Tom Holland's company. He looked up from where he had been looking and spotted an ice-cream truck not far ahead. He nugded Allie and pointed towards it. "Ice-cream on me?" he asked.

Allie smiled at him teasingly, "Aren't you supposed to be on some athletes diet?" she asked.

Mick threw an arm around her shoulders. "Just don't tell my PT." he said, and Allie burst out into a fit of giggles. She covered her hand with her mouth as she continued to laugh, as Mick guided her towards the ice-cream truck.

He ordered them what they had ordered that night at Gianni's and payed. Allie glared at Mick, who frowned at her confused, "Yes?"

"You payed."

"And that's a problem because?"

Allie sighed. "You always payed. Everytime we went out. You always payed. Why?"

Mick shrugged. "I felt like you were worth a lot more than the dinners we had and the places we went to. You were worth paying for."

He turned back to the woman behind the counter to get the ice-cream, but Allie was still staring at him. She was worth more. He thought she was worth something.

"Fuck you Mick Schumacher." she thought to herself. "You're making me fall for you all over again."
