"How are you and Lando?" Artemis asks. It was early in the morning but both were awake for a while. They just didn't want to leave bed.
"I told him I needed some time to process," he replies. His head lays on her stomach, his face facing away from her.
"And how is the process going?" she continues to ask. George leaves his comfortable position and sits up straight, crossing his legs.
"It's still a bit messing with me," he admits. Artemis now copies George sitting position.

"You can talk to me," she says softly, taking his hands in hers. George glances up and looks into the eyes he loves.
"It's in my head," he starts, "the thoughts of you leaving me for him, even though you told me you don't have romantic feelings for him. It's the thought of you not loving me anymore." A soft sniff broke Artemis' heart. She pulls her boyfriend in her arms.
"But I can't stay mad at Lando," he continues, "not that I have been so mad at him but ... he is my best mate and I believe him for saying he could never get between the two of us ... But ... But it's just the thought that's running through my head."

"And I want to let him know that we are good, but something is holding me back," he says, "I can't describe what it is but something is holding me back and I don't know what."
"I think it would be a weight off your shoulders if you told him," Artemis speaks, "I think you should have another conversation. As soon as possible because I notice how it affects you."
"I think too," he murmurs.
"I love you, know that," Artemis says and places a kiss on his head. It made her smile when she heard a soft chuckle.
"I love you too," he replies, "can I have your phone to text him?" Artemis unlocks her phone and hands it over.
