lucky for you ━━ novo amor, gia margaret
❜what can i say / i’m nothing to myself and tired of starting up my day❜
WILLOW DIDN'T KNOW why her moods were switching so fast in such a short time. One moment she could be happy, but then, out of nowhere, she could feel extremely tired of everything; of smiling, of talking, of laughing. Of literally everything that involved socializing. That's why she had her head resting on Blair's shoulder, her eyes being closed the two blonde girls sat at the separate, small table with Miguel, who was still trying to contact Sam. That wasn't working for him at all, though ── the LaRusso girl was completely ignoring every message he had sent her and every phone call he made to her.
"Hey, should I tag you on your boobs or your ass?" the Johnson girl suddenly spoke, making Willow slowly open her eyes and force herself not to groan as she heard her friends loud whoos. After a moment, she looked at Blair's phone screen and saw the photo of the three that the girl wanted to post on her Instagram story.
Willow and Blair were hugging each other, holding each other's faces with closed eyes and innocent looks on their faces, while Miguel was standing off to the side, pointing at the Cobra Kai logo on the girl's gi and wearing a fake surprised expression on his face.
The Froud girl replied immediately, smiling at the picture. "Boobs. Definitely,"
Blair nodded in understanding and then turned her attention to Miguel. "What about you, MD?" she asked, but the boy didn't answer her.
Instead, he put his phone down on the table and a depressed look showed on his face as a sigh escaped his lips. The two girls looked at each other eloquently before their eyes landed on him once again, being all filled with worries.
Willow's hand gripped the boy's arm slightly, which got his attention. "Hey, what's up, Miggy?" her voice softened. He gave her a small shrug in response.
"I lost her, Wills. She blocked me everywhere," Miguel admitted quietly, being really close to crying. A sad smile showed on Willow's lips and she pulled the boy into a supporting hug. Blair joined the two, leaning her head on the green-eyed girl's back. "I thought that maybe we could talk and── but she didn't even let me. I don't want to lose her," the Diaz continued.
"You won't lose her, Miggy. From the way Sam looks at you I know that she cares about you. You just need to give her some time for everything to cool off and then you'll talk, okay? Please, don't be sad. I hate to see you like this," she declared as soon as they pulled away from each other. Miguel sent a forced smile towards her way.
"Thank you. Both of you," he mumbled. The two girls high-fived in the air.
Suddenly, a familiar voice echoed behind Willow and someone's arm wrapped around her, making her body tense straight away. Even more after she heard this person's voice. "El Serpiente, there you are," Hawk exclaimed and frowned when he felt the girl's reaction to his touch. He pulled his hand away from her immediately.
Willow was still angry at him, but it wasn't a surprise to anyone. When they were alone, he would act normal, but then, when someone was around, he would make his asshole behavior come back. It was something the girl wouldn't understand ── were the words he told her even real? Did he even listen to what she was telling him?
"She blocked me," was all the Froud girl could hear after she let her overthink take the best of her. Despite everything, her gaze managed to see how Blair was literally murdering the Moskowitz boy with her eyes as soon as he showed up.
"So, what happens when you get blocked? You counter-punch," Hawk advised, and Willow snorted, having enough of the karate rules being used everywhere. "Except, maybe don't actually hit her this time," he chuckled just after saying that. Willow glared at him with a warning.
"What, too soon?"
She nodded her head. "Yeah, dumbass. Way too soon," she muttered and he rolled his eyes at the nickname.
"Look, all I'm saying is don't give up," the blue-haired boy explained and this time Blair was the one to snort. He looked at her with his eyebrows raised. He didn't even notice her being here.
"The advice being given by you is actually funny, because you literally──" the Johnson girl started, but Willow elbowed her and Miguel cut her off.
"It's no use, guys. I blew any shot I had with her," the Diaz admitted sadly.
Willow shook her head. "No, you didn't, Mig. Like I said earlier ── just give some time for things to cool off between you two. I bet Sam will come around," a silence fell between them for a moment.
Hawk interrupted it, though. "Or she won't. You're the champ now ─ you can get any chick in the Valley you want. You're like Drake, enjoy it," he patted his back, stood up and walked away. Just after that, Willow sighed heavily. She started not recognizing her own best friend.
"You didn't tell him, did you?" Miguel asked the blonde, who bit her lips and shook her head negatively.
"He has a girlfriend, Mig. If he's happy now then I'll be too, eventually," she replied shortly. She really hoped that she would become happy.
"He's an asshole," Blair commented with a shrug. "And you won't be like Drake, don't worry." she added.
The three looked at each other in silence before they burst into laughter.

WILLOW WAS GLAD when the weekend ended ── she had enough of hearing her fathernext's voice in the apartment and she had enough of her mom, who suddenly became the man's biggest protector. All this overwhelmed her as much as the fact that her home had stopped being her home in just a few days. She couldn't tell anyone her own opinion there, she couldn't watch TV without her father commenting on it in all ways possible, she couldn't do anything without her father's disagreement. Him coming back was one of the worst things that happened in her entire life, and the way she looked on the Monday morning confirmed it.
". . . My mom's going to give me her Sentra. I'm thinking about putting a blue racing stripe down the middle, hood to tail," Willow listened to her friends conversation as they were walking towards her. She didn't really understand any of it, so when they finally saw her, she gave them a small wave, ignoring the concern on their faces. "Holy shit, you look─" Hawk started, but she walked into his sentence, knowing what he was going to say.
"Shitty? Yeah, I know. I was throwing up all night just because my father forgot what things I was allergic to and made the whole dinner with them," she explained and the Moskowitz grimaced as soon as he heard that, Miguel sending the girl a sympathetic look. "What were you talking about, anyway?" she questioned.
A excited smile suddenly showed on the blue-haired boy's lips. "I'm getting my drivers license next week. Y'know, just like we always talked about," he declared and Willow opened her eyes in shock.
"Wait, really?" she asked, not being sure if he was joking or not. When he nodded his head, she spoke again. "Thanks. I'll make sure to not go out next week," she joked and the boy's eyes rolled at her.
Miguel interrupted their short conversation as they were close to the dojo's entrance. "Looks like we got some new students,"
Willow's green eyes followed the Diaz's ones and she grinned to herself when she saw new people standing in front of the dojo ── she was glad that people still showed up after what had happened at the tournament. She couldn't count how many times someone from the city had made a comment towards her about her team 'fighting dirty', just because Miguel won.
"Fresh fish," Eli smirked and the three started walking towards the people.
"It's the champs," some boy nudged his friend and pointed at the mentioned boy. The second boy turned to them immediately.
"Check this out,"
"Don't," Willow and Miguel whispered back to Eli in sync.
He didn't listen to them, which wasn't a big surprise to the Froud girl. As she stated earlier, he was acting differently when the two were alone and differently when they had someone's company.
"Hey, mouth-breathers, move it," the Moskowitz ordered and the blonde girl scoffed quietly when one of the boys walked off their way, the second one opening the door for them. "So you guys wanna be Cobra Kais, huh?" he teased and raised his fists aggressively, acting as if he was going to punch them, making them flinch.
"You got a long road ahead of you,"
When the two boys walked inside the dojo, Willow stopped for a moment and sent the new boys an apologetic look. She didn't want to be seen as someone, who would make fun of the other person.
"I'm so sorry about him. He's got this asshole attitude, but . . . please, don't let anyone treat you like that, okay? Even if it's Miguel or Hawk," she begged before walking inside and her body froze as she saw what the dojo was looking like. "What happened here?" she asked her friends.
"Looks like Sensei threw a party," Aisha shrugged and Willow frowned.
"Must've been pretty sick if fire got involved," Hawk chuckled, Aisha joining him in.
Willow grimaced. "I wonder if he's okay," she muttered.
She got her answer quicker than she would ever expect, because as soon as the noise got bigger inside the building, Johnny couldn't stop himself from screaming loudly. "Quiet!"
The blonde quickly stopped in her tracks and looked at the man with her eyes narrowed. She was pretty much tired of hearing the word quite every day.
"The dojo's closed to new students today," Johnny announced firmly and Willow exhaled quietly, being even more confused by the man's actions. She thought that he might like having new students.
"We just wanted to sign up after we saw the tournament," Chris explained.
The Lawrence's face didn't change, though. Willow could say that he was in a bad mood. "Do I need to say it again? Get out." he ordered.
Mitch blinked. "Yes, sir── Sensei. Come on, let's go." he said to their other boys, who immediately moved towards the door.
"Let's go, move it. Come back tomorrow," he muttered. The blonde girl connected the dots quickly and realized that the mess that was in the dojo was probably the same reason why Johnny's face had no enthusiasm.
"And bring your checkbooks,"
Willow put her bag down against the wall and started playing with her rings, not knowing what else to do ── the atmosphere in the dojo was pretty bad. She didn't really like it.
"Everybody, fall in!" with that the Froud girl stood next to Aisha.
The words of her friends did not go unheard. "Must've been a rager, Sensei." Hawk said.
"Yeah, were you celebrating all weekend?" Miguel joined in. The two boys didn't notice the bad man's mood.
"Celebrating what? My students are a bunch of pussies." Johnny replied harshly, which caused the two boys to blink as their smiles faded. Willow scowled. "Diaz, Hawk, up front." he ordered.
The green-eyed girl watched as her two best friends stood in front of the rest of the students, having disorientated looks on their faces. Her lips immediately tied up into a thin line ── that wasn't going to be good.
"Hawk. Did you attack your opponent when his back was turned?" he asked.
"Yes, Sensei?" the mentioned boy answered hesitantly, looking in confusion at Miguel and then Willow, who shrugged.
"Diaz. Did you purposely attack your opponent's injury?" he continued. So it was all about that.
Miguel nodded. "Yes, Sensei."
"You think that makes you badass?" Johnny raised his eyebrows. The two boys glanced at each other, but didn't reply to him. "What's the matter? Too tough a question?"
They still didn't answer, which caused the man to speak again. "Maybe you need some help," he muttered and turned to the rest of the students, his gaze stopping at Willow, who immediately straightened up. She didn't want to get on his bad side today. "Miss Froud," he exclaimed.
She blinked several times. "Yes, Sensei?"
"Two cobras in the jungle. One kills the strongest lion, the other kills a crippled monkey. Which cobra do you want to be?" he questioned. She didn't have to think much longer.
"The one that kills the lion." she admitted.
"And why is that? Miss Robinson?"
Aisha answered immediately. "Because it killed a stronger animal."
"Correct!" he exclaimed and Willow sighed in relief. "Cobra Kai is about being badass and the baddest badass is the one, who beats his opponent when he's at his strongest."
He stepped in front of Hawk. "Not when his back is turned," he then walked up to Miguel. "Not when he's injured. Is that understood?"
"Yes, Sensei!"
"That means no more cheating. No more fighting dirty. From here on out, those are pussy moves and you don't want to be pussies, do you?" he asked.
"No, Sensei!"
"Good. It's why I had you wear white belts, we're starting over. Diaz, Hawk, fifty push-ups on your knuckles. Miss Robinson, warm them up."
"Yes, Sensei."

THE OLD WILLOW would never believe anyone if they told her that she wasn't going to go see a movie with her friends and instead was going to meet her former bully, Moon. But she did. When she saw the girl's message, she wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but then she remembered that Yasmine was mostly the person who put her through hell and Moon was just her best friend, who was afraid to stand up to her. That made her accept the offer after a while.
After that, it was clear that Willow's old therapist was right ── the girl was too much of a person, trying to understand and excuse everyone's actions, which usually didn't end well. Especially when it came to people that were close to her, who used it against her.
Yet, there she was, sitting on Moon's bed while she sat on the chair close to her desk. "I'm really glad you agreed, Willow. I wanted to talk to you at the party and then after the tournament, but I couldn't find you anywhere." the brown-haired girl explained, and the blonde grimaced at the mention of the two moments that both broke her heart, but also made her understand a few things.
She covered the grimace with a small, hesitant smile. "Oh, sorry about that, I'm not really a socializing person."
Moon shook her head immediately. "You have nothing to be sorry about, Wills. Seriously. I understand everything." she reassured, smiling back. "In fact, I'm the person, who should be apologizing. To everyone and especially to you. You didn't deserve anything you were going through." her voice became sad.
Willow sighed, continuing playing with her rings. She didn't know what to say, because deep down she was aware that she should never be treated like that. After all the therapies she attended she could see a lot of things she didn't in the past. And she regretted that she didn't ── maybe then things would have turned out differently.
"I tried talking to Yasmine a lot of time, but she never listened. I really wish I could turn back time and make myself finally stand up to her. That would save lots of people from suffering," she continued, her eyes wandering from the Froud girl, who simply nodded her head in understanding. "And I wish that you could see the way you look, Willow, because you're definitely not what Yasmine was calling you. You're the real definition of being truly beautiful and you need to finally see that," when she said that, her arms crossed her chest.
Willow smiled at the words that fell from Moon's lips, but then her eyes narrowed in a small confusion. How did she know that she struggled with accepting her look? She definitely never told her about it.
Moon, seeing the blonde's face, got ahead of her with the explanations. "Hawk told me a few things about you. Please, don't be angry at him about it. I can see that he cares about you a lot." she explained and grinned softly when she saw the blue tips of Willow's hair.
The snow-haired girl wasn't mad at the Moskowitz boy. Not at all. She just felt embarrassed, because she despised talking about her problems and feeling ── there was always a black hole in her head when she wanted to explain them.
"You know, at first I thought you guys were a thing or something," the brown-haired girl stated, making Willow blink several times.
On the one hand, there was more than friendship between her and Eli, but on the other one, also much less than a relationship. They were really complicated.
"You did?"
Moon nodded. "Uhm, yeah. It's just── I often saw you two at school before and I saw the way you were talking with each other, so . . ." she stopped herself to shrug. "But, then he told me at the party that there was nothing going on between you two and that you have your eyes on someone else, so I'm glad I didn't interrupt anything at all. I would feel really bad if I did."
Willow tried to act cool when the girl said that. Lots of questions had shown up in her mind immediately. So that was it? Nothing was between them? Their kiss was nothing? The moments they shared meant nothing? What did he mean by her having her eyes on someone else?
The chaos in her head got even bigger. She couldn't understand anything.
"Are you okay, Wills?" Moon asked worriedly, which caused the blonde to get out of her trance.
"I'm fine. It was just . . . a pretty exhausting day for me. That's all," she lied. She believed that if Eli could move on, she could do it too.
( The future Willow would like to interrupt and say that she, in fact, couldn't and made the things even worse )
"Oh, I know what'll cheer you up!" Moon suddenly shot out in excitement. "What do you think about doing a Hannah Montana movie marathon?" she suggested.
Willow opened her eyes widely. "Oh my God, you know it?" she asked in shock. Moon nodded her head quickly with a proud expression on her face. "Yes, please! I'll do anything!" she added.
And guess the day wasn't that bad. At least not for Willow.
