in which the town's eccentric
artist has been in love with
the grumpy diner owner
since high school

sadie parker and liz danes have been
best friends since... forever.

they were a chaotic duo, where they went
chaos and laughter soon followed and luke, liz's brother was always to make sure they were safe and to clean up after them.

sadie had been there when the danes siblings lost their mother, and she watched as liz went a little crazy, but sadie stayed by her side.

eventually, it became luke and sadie watching after liz, cleaning up after and slowly something stared the bloom between them, though both were too scared to say anything.

over the years, the feelings never went away, of anything they grew but luke was a stubborn man and he didn't share his feelings all that well and sadie never said a word out of fear of ruining the friendship.

now, adults, not much has changed. sadie and luke and still best friends. she still annoys him to no end and he just smiles at her antics.

still, neither says a word, but the whole town knows that luke danes is truly, madly, deeply in love with sadie parker.

๋࣭⭑⚝ sadie is an artist. she owns a little gallery / craft store and her work sells for quite a bit of money - she's a big deal in the art world and she's said to someday be one of the greats

๋࣭⭑⚝ sadie was friends with liz in high school, maybe they even kept in touch so that's how she knows jess ❪ 🕯️ ❫

๋࣭⭑⚝ sadie is a lot like phoebe, very hippie-ish vibes. she's eccentric and she can sense people's energies

๋࣭⭑⚝ sadie spends a lot of time at the diner, she claims it because she likes to people watch and that's it's a very inspiring place to sit but it's mostly to bug luke as she buys coffee and fries and almost nothing else

๋࣭⭑⚝ this can either be a slow burn or a fast burn, just do what feels natural to you and the characters

๋࣭⭑⚝ i don't think luke's relationship with rory would be any different, he can still very much be a father figure in her life

๋࣭⭑⚝ lorelai and sadie would love to bug luke like at the dinner, it's one of thier favorite past times

๋࣭⭑⚝ sadie would have art shows and galleries, this would be a big part of her career

๋࣭⭑⚝ sadie would be like rory's aunt, they would be close and rory might make a comment about her being like her second mom

๋࣭⭑⚝ sadie and sookie would also be close

๋࣭⭑⚝ sadie and jess would get along when he shows up in town
