「 ✦ SYNOPSIS ✦ 」

in which ej's best friend falls for his enemy but she'd never admit it out loud

or

ej caswell has always been the schools golden boy. he always seemed to get what want, and he was loved by nearly everyone. and the summer before his senior year, he lands the girl of his dreams - beautiful, kind and talented.

but as the school year starts and the new drama teacher plans a huge production, he seems to be losing his wonderful girlfriend to her ex-boyfriend, ricky bowen.

so, ej does the only logical thing he can think of... he enlists cordelia olsen - his best friend - in the scheme of all schemes in hopes of winning nini back.

and while cordelia is reluctant, she's helpless to refuse as he invokes the best friend code.

so, the girl worms her way into the musical under the pretense of taking photos for the school newspaper as well as the year book... then she gets to work.

she befriends the skater boy quickly, and without even noticing it, she falls for him hard and fast.

and while he seems to have fallen for her just as hard, she's not sure he'll ever understand that it all started with a scheme... a scheme that didn't work in the end.

๋࣭⭑⚝ cordy is on the school newspaper and the yearbook committee. she's a photographer and she loves her camera, it's her most prized possession

๋࣭⭑⚝ cordy and ej have been friends and neighbors for their entire lives.

๋࣭⭑⚝ ej and cordy have this best friend code, when one calls best friend code the other has to do what the other wants/asks - unless it's something dangerous or illegal. the code had been retired for four years, until ej brought it back for this scheme

๋࣭⭑⚝ cordy is a sweet girl, always helping out those in need. despite being best friends with ej, she's isn't a part of the popular group. she likes to spend more of her time taking pictures, she always has her camera ( it's a canon eos 2000d/ rebel t7 dslr camera )

๋࣭⭑⚝ i have this really cute idea for a scene of ricky teaching cordy how to skateboard, she's bundled up in kneepads, elbow pads and his helmet it on her head. something like this:

"no." cordelia laughed, shaking her head - she wore his helmet and a pair of knee pads and elbow pads. "i'm gonna fall on my face."

"i'm not gonna let you fall."

"ricky." she sighed and he laughed, grabbing her shoulders.

"you're gonna be fine." he told her. "do you trust me?"

it was a harmless question, at least to him it was. she was still hiding so much and, against her better judgement, she had started to really like him.

"yeah." she nodded. "i trust you."

"good." he smiled. "now, get on the board." he told her and she took a breath. he held her hands as she stepped into the skateboard, her hands tightening around his. "i got you." he gave her a smile. "bend your knees a little. good. you ready?"

"not really." she told him. "you got me, right?"

"yeah, i got you." he nodded.

"okay." she let out a breath. "i'm ready." she nodded and he smiled at her again, a smile that could melt anyone. he walked beside her, holding her hands and she squeaked as the broad rolled beneath her.

๋࣭⭑⚝ this really only covers season one, so if you choose to continue last season one, you have complete creative control, though i would really like for ricky and cordy to be endgame, though i'm not opposed to a breakup and getting back together

๋࣭⭑⚝ cordy is reluctant to go through with the scheme, seeing as she likes nini and she doesn't like playing with people feelings, but she'd do just about anything for ej

๋࣭⭑⚝ cordy calls it off when she really starts to caught feelings for ricky, and when she tells ej why they get into a bit of an argument which leaves her crying and they're relationship strained - ricky finds her crying and comforts her

๋࣭⭑⚝ cordy is an only child. her parents are willow and charles ❪ 🕯️ ❫ willow teaches second grade and charles is a firefighter ( he's one of the firefighters that helps at the school after the fire )
