Chapter 27

2nd Person's POV*

You panted and lost breath from running for literally and approximately twenty-nine minutes on the empty tranquil streets of tokyo. It was past midnight at two in the morning.

Entering the airport, you exhaled first and sighed. "I should have just drove myself here.. I'm sweating like crazy now!"

After kinda swallowing some good ol' fresh air inside the airport, you sat yourself down on the first row of all the other seats inside. It seems like you were the only one still awake at this time in the airport.

You saw the workers from near small food court and they were already drooling salivas and their sleepy, exhausted heads were exagerated from working. They were all peacefully sleeping.

You also brought a sling bag with you, which you definetly did not regret bringing. Taking out a biscuit from it, you give yourself a moment to eat and feed your hungry stomach.

"Time to wait for my sugoi-friends."

Time passed and finally, the destined moment has awaited.

"(Y/n)-chan!??!" Gou looked so terribly sleepy when she entered the cold airport but when she caught and noticed you, her face brightened like a glowing star. She wrapped her arms around you.

"I miss you!" she squeaks beneath your teddy hug.

You weakly yet warmly smiled. "Likewise."

The others found out the surprise of you being in the airport, all of them ran up to you and also gave you bunch of warming hugs. Your eyes started to water.

Your eyes averted and it reign to the one and only..

"Water-addict!!!" you smiled happily and screamed with joy inside. You ran up to Haruka with an insanely tight hug, tears bursted out easily as you did.

He hugged you back of course and gently kissed your forehead, but it wasn't a quick kiss, it took a long pause from his lips touching your forehead.

"Squid, you know.. you should stop being dramatic." he said with an expression full of sarcasm in it. "I was only gone for four days. Not a whole year."

You chuckled and fiddled with his comfy polo, "I know, I know. I'm just perhaps not used to it and its my first time in a relationship." you felt embarrassed from what you pointed out.

He laughed and muffled his pointy, button nose on your hair. "Of course you do, squid. That's one of the reasons why I love you."

"What's the other reasons why you love me?"

"..well.." a paused caught in between his sentences before he continued.

Then he smiled at you with eyes squinting. "Because you're you."
