Chapter 51

The principal's room had a delicate yet terriying aura to it, like any other normal principal's room. The atmosphere was quite arid to define.

A thousand numbered of bookshelves in both sides of the huge room with a desk in the middle- more foremost its obviously the principal's desk.

It had a sit that looked way more vasty than your entire room at home. "Ouch, thoughts!--"

Wio pulled the chair infront of the principal's table and signaled you to sat down on it for awhile, you gladly followed his simple instruction and gestured yourself on the chair.

Just in time, the main entrance doors of the cold-aired room opened and showed the appearance of a man in a perfect-looking vest in his freshly knitted suit. He looked almost the same as Wio around the age of 40s.

Wio bowed down at the man who glided his way onto the seat infront of his desk. "Good morning, headmaster."

You quickly stood up and also bowed down at the man with a forced smile. "G-Good morning.. sir.." and you quickly sat back down yourself again after hesitantly greeting him.

Facing him with all your gut, he first organized some things on his desk and started the conversation going. "Have you eaten, (Y/n)-san?" he asks and you quickly replied, "Yes."

He faked a cough and directly looked at you in the eye. "I'm Lesaki Aiko, the Principal of this Academy. I assume you already know that.." the tone of his voice was so soothing to the ears but he did had that raspy tone in his voice as well since he is probably aging.

You only nodded at his start and he continues, "What school are you currently studying in?"

"Iwatobi High School." you say, with no sign of hesitation whatsoever.

Aiko subtly nods at you and looked like he finally found what he was searching for through his drawers. He passes a sheet of paper and a pen along side to you, "I'll just make this quick but.."

His eyes stared back at the paper on the table. He asks, "Are you interested in joining the Samezuka Swimming Club?"

Your mouth slowly opened and you blink a couple more times just in case this wasn't things that you're just randomly hearing. But unfortunately, you're not hearing things.

Mouth still slightly open but no one words came out. You suddenly glanced at Wio who was only keeping his distance near both of you and the principal with his eyes on the ground.

You look back at the Aiko and sighs, "I sincerely apologize but, I can't.." you bit your lower lip, wanting to stop speaking but seems like your mouth has its own world.

"..I can't accept this!" you finally said and traced your finger on the sheet of paper infront of you sliding it closer to him again. "I think I'm inapt for this." you once more say.

Aiko pauses for a moment then his lips twitches into a faint smile, he silently chuckled making you lift a brow. "A-Aiko-san? I really think that--"

"Okay, are you sure that you're really not joining? This is only for your own good, (Y/n)-san."

"I'm sure." you finished and nod with courage. Aiko dramatically sighs and threw back the sheet of paper inside his desk drawers again. He snaps his fingers, signaling for Wio to open the main doors of the room.

Wio nods and did what he was told. You raised a brow in confusion while only watching Aiko heading his way outside the room, "Take (Y/n)-san to the guests room and let our drivers drive her back to her home again." he orders Wio and Wio obediently follows.

You stood up from your chair ti'll something fell down from the principal's desk. It was a random photo and you quickly grabbed it and was about to put it back on the table ti'll Wio calls you. "(Y/n)-san, lets go."

You nodded and walked your way towards him, totay forgetting to put back the photo on your hands on the table.

After walking through the never-ending hallways again and to the endless moving elevators. Wio lead you inside a quiet room filled with fancy chairs and tables, its probably the guest room.

"Sit anywhere you like and wait for a couple of minutes. I'll be back." Wio tells you and you nodded at him with a smile. "Okay, Wio-san."

Finally, peace and quiet surrounded you. This school felt like a Kingdom of some King's territory and its making you go crazy that a school can look like this. Even the hallways looks better than your existence.

"Tsk! What vile thoughts I have in mind!" you pinched your arm, annoyed that you yourself is making you annoyed.

Then your realized the photo was still on your palms. You carefully looked at it and saw a young boy with maroon-colored hair beside with another young boy with black-colored hair with a hint of navy blue.

For some reason, the two children looked somewhat familiar to you but you just can't point out who. Your braincells are just approaching the cliff of stupidity. "Why are my thoughts so nasty today??-"

The door of the guest room slowly creaked its open, you smiled with yours eyes. "Wio-san! Can I go home no-" your words trailed off as you saw a different person walking in. "..R-Rin-kun?!"

Rin walked in the room and as he noticed you, he gasps silently, "Squid?!.. wait, why are you here? And who's Wio-san?"

You rubbed your nape with the use of your hand with a sheepish smile. "Long story short, your school invited me here to ask me if I could join your Swimming Club and obviously, I disagreed with the idea so now I'm here, waiting for a ride to go back home."

Shark-boy nods and sits beside you with a smile. "Its probably's my friend idea that brought you to this.." he silently chuckles.

You grinned at him, "Let me guess.. your friend named 'Shota Nakagawa'?"

He gasps at you. "You two met already?!.."

Grinning more, you shaked your head at him. "No, no silly. Wio-san told me that as he said that your friend wanted me to join your Swimming Club."

"Who the flip is Wio-san?--" Rin questions ti'll the door of the guest room opened again. Wio popped his head from the door frame, "(Y/n)-san?"

You cheerfully smiled at him, "Yes?"

"You can go home now." he tells you. "Come outside, I'll lead you to the school's exit."

You nodded to Wio and smiled wider to Rin who was beside you. "Sorry but I have to go now. Nice seeing you again after a long time, Rin-kun!" you told him and left the room.

"Oh, alright. Be safe."
