Chapter 29

You were new to this, your were really were ever since from the beginning.

You fiddled with your phone while staring at the scenery of nature, with trees, fresh wind blowing, pretty flowers and birds chirping.

All alone on a garden you found when you were just walking down by yourself on the tranquil morning streets. You woke up at straight four in the morning.

"I need.. something to distract me for.. while." you mumbled, your eyes finally blinked as you spoke.

Sighing dramatically, you once heard heavy footsteps coming your way. You thought it was just someone walking pass by but it wasn't, it was-

"Rin-kun..??" you uttered belwilderedly by just looking at scarlet boy.

He softly giggled like feather and sat down at the bench beside you. "What brings you coming here, (Y/n)?... oh by the way, good morning."

You nod as a reply on his greeting, but your expression was all still numb. Your silence to him made him all curious with a tiny bit of concern too.

"I don't know honestly, I just walked down to this path randomly. Its so peaceful and comfy here so I stayed." you rather explained with a voice barely audible.

A smirk flashes on his lips, leaving you in confusion. "Really? Well, usually this is the spot where I always go whenever I feel depressed, lonely, angry, sad- you name it."

"That's.. cool." a grin spread on your lips, causing your eyes to squint a little. "Then if you're here.. are you.. sad about something?"

He tilted his head, causing his crimson hair to brush through his facial features smoothly. "To tell you the truth, I'm actually pissed about something."

"Woah, sounds like you are irritated.. I don't mean to pry but, why are intimidated so early in the morning?" you ask.

"Its kinda complica-"

"Just spit it out, I can handle it."

A smile formed on his lips, a bright and warming one, making you feel soft. "So.. uhm, there's this girl I liked for awhile. But.."

"But?"

"How do I put this.." he scratched his nape then a tick knocked on his head. "The girl already likes someone else, or could I say... loves someone else?"

"How could you tell that she loves someone else?"

"She.. she's in a relationship already."

Thoughts flew up your mind here and there. "Don't think this way (Y/n)! Its impossible that he likes yo-" You forcingly brushed off the annoying thoughts as you shook your head.

"Then why.. would you still like her?"

"Cause I can't move on about it. She's the one who catched my eye and heart ever since I've met her, I had a chance but I blew it. And I'm simply regretting it and pissed about it."

Its your first time seeing a guy looking like this and talking to one. Normally, only you and your mom talks kinds of things like this. You only felt silent, since you have no idea what to reply anyways.

A palm suddenly slided on your hand that was just relaxed still on your sides. You look down and saw it was Rin's palm, his touch gave off a warm feeling.

The moment felt surreal, you knew it was wrong since you already have Haruka. But there's something inside you just forget about a memory, and you liked it a lot.

"You know, squid. The reason why I like her is that she fits my ideal type, she's caring, funny, weird, pretty, clever and enjoys swimming like.. me."

You didn't realize it but, you were smiling already. An also bright one like his, "I-I hope that.. y-you'll get a chance for her a..again.." you were completely stuttering at your words.

He suddenly leans his face on yours making you flinch. You saw his eyes go down and it stared at your lips, lips that doesn't know what to say or do at the current unexpected situation.

He moves closer.

Closer.

And clos-

"(Y/N)-CHAN! IS THAT YOU?!" a loud, familiar voice echoed through your ears, causing you to lean back from your sit and not to scarlet boy.

You turned your head and saw Nagisa running with the others towards you. "Finally we found you!"

"So early in the morning?" you looked at your watch and saw it was turning six already.

"Yeah, we were first at your house but no one answered so.." Makoto added, his words trailed off as he saw Rin beside you. "Seems like you are bonding here together, eh?"

A dark shade of red crossed through your fair, fluttering cheeks. You composed yourself and pretended you were just chill as you glanced at Rin. "I-Its not what you think..! We just randomly crossed our paths together on the streets.."

You saw Rin grinning beside you, his shark teeth showing a bit. You glanced back at the group of people behind you and sheepishly smiled. "So... is there some news from you all coming here?"
