I sat beside John at the table we were having our meeting with the man who keeps our money under the radar without us looking suspicious.

Daniel had been working for us for years keeping our money organized and flowing substantially well, plus he was a pretty chill guy.

Aj was right behind me with his arms rested on the railings overlooking the boats that resided within the yacht club.

Me, John, and Aj have been on the straight and narrow these past few days and it felt great.

"Not to piss on Grand Cayman, but I think I can get you an additional in the Dutch Antilles. I say why not?" Daniel said as I took a sip of my martini

"Yeah, but the way the markets keep jumping around, man, another four, six weeks, who knows what the rates'll be?" Aj said

"And have you seen the latest Bloomberg report?" Jake asked making me nod

"Shit is definitely bleak out there," I spoke up cutting and taking a bite of my cilantro encrusted chicken breast

"'Bloomberg reports'? Are you kidding me? Come on, college guys and lady. Let's not over-think it." Gordon teased making me shoot him a glare with a laugh followed as John began to laugh along with us

"Yeah, come on. Dutch Antilles wanna pay us more money. That's a no-brainer." John smiled

"I like the Dutch Antilles, as long as the banks don't pack up and take my money overnight," Gordon advised making me nod in agreement before I felt Aj's arms softly wrap around me

I smiled and leaned up giving him a quick peck on the lips causing him to release me and John to look over with an unreadable expression making me nudge him softly making him smile and kiss me on the lips softly.

"Of course. 10% to the usual charities?" Daniel asked

"Absolutely," Jake said taking a sip of his drink

"Most definitely," I replied dabbing the corners of my mouth with my napkin

"Cool by me." Aj then said

"I chartered a jet...It's taking off Van Nuys Airport tonight." Daniel began to state, pulling up his briefcase and opening it pulling some tickets from it. "Anybody wants to come, I got your private parking passes right here...It'll be sweet." He concluded sitting the passes on the table

"Man, life's looking pretty good from right here." Aj then announced with a small smile

"I'll let you know later." Gordon then replied making me smile and as Daniel made his exit

"So what's been going up with you three lovebirds? Jade's smiling. Aj's smiling. My boy's smiling. What the hell?" Gordon began to tease making my face heat up

"They've been having secret little threesomes." Jake then teased making me laugh

"If you want an answer to that. No, not yet." I said making them laugh

"Yeah, whatever." Jake teased making me roll my eyes playfully before I began to get up from the table

"Where are you going, Jade?" John then asked

"To get out of these shoes and get ready to hang out with you all tonight. A girl needs her rest, alright!" I announced picking up my Hermes bag and car keys to my Ferrari.

"See you later, baby." John and Aj then said in cadence making me laugh

"You guys are definitely going to talk about me when I leave." I replied making Gordon say "Well, of course."

"You all are some bullies," I replied with a smile

"Yeah, and you're a man-eater, Jade." Jake joked making me laugh

"Goodbye, bullies."

I stepped out of the bathtub wrapping the towel around my body before I heard a noise downstairs making me flinch, unprepared from the unexpected noise.

"John! Aj?" I called getting no response making me pull my Magnum from my drawer making my way downstairs and carefully through the first story of my house.

I then sighed finding nothing or nobody before making my way back to my room in need of some rest from my newfound paranoia, sitting my gun down on my dresser.

I smiled as I walked into my bedroom beginning to admire the lacy off-white lingerie set I had picked out for tonight and the long float yet revealing dress I had for the club tonight.

I softly touched the material as it hung from my clothes rack and bit my lip before hearing a voice.

"That's sexy...who's it for?"

The voice made me freeze in paralyzing fear before I turned and saw Ghost standing against the doorframe leading into my bedroom.

He walked closer to me as I took a deep breath before saying "It's for n-no one."

"You sure?" He smirked vilely as he backed me into a wall trailing his hands up my moist body underneath my towel before pulling it off slowly.

"Ghost. Please, just go." I began to plead before he wrapped his hand around my throat tightly.

As I walked into my house, Jade was the only thing running through my mind right now other than how sweet she was being.

It made me feel great and it made me think about a possible future together.

"Nice house. Cool view." I heard someone say, my eyes quickly darted to the unknown stranger standing in my living room with a glass of my whiskey.

I quickly pulled my gun prowling over before noticing this man was a bit too familiar.

"Great scotch." The man said lifting the glass before I noticed exactly who this was.

Ghost.

"You know, jacking that news chopper had 'Aj' written all over it." He said slickly

"How'd you get in my house?" I replied lowering my gun and sticking it in my back holster

"Please." Ghost said turning to face me

"They let you out early or what?" I questioned as my mind began to roam off to Jade and whether she was okay or not

"Good behavior. About a year early." He stated before swiftly continuing "But I guess you guys kind of lost track, huh?" His expression hardening

"No contact. That's what we agreed upon. So, what's up?" I asked now irritated by his presence

Ghosts' presence is something that could make Jade's new spirit disappear like smoke from a flash bomb. And he needed to go back wherever he came from.

"I think I'm gonna have another scotch." He said with a dangerous smile ignoring my question and walking into my kitchen.

"It's good shit, John." He announced popping the bottle of whiskey open and pouring it into the same glass he had drunk from before.

"You gonna drink with me, right?... Sure you are." Ghost then narcissistically implied on me drinking with him

"You see, I came to you, John because you the one with that higher consciousness and shit."

"All right, I'm listening. Well, you asked what's up." I said sitting down on the side of my couch still facing this bastard

"I miss my homies. That's what's up...That, and some unfinished business." Ghost remonstrated still rambling in my kitchen

"Your money from '04 is safe and accruing interest. Gordon's got the bank account numbers." I said standing up and walking over to him trying to end our conversation

"What about Lily and Jade? Who's got their numbers?" Ghost asked

"Lily is with Jake now and Jade is doing her own thing." I simply replied

"Mmm" He replied as if he was hurt

"Well, good for them...I got a deal we need to discuss." Ghost said bringing the whole bottle of whiskey and the glass that was filled to the brim to my glass coffee table that sat between my leather couches before he sat down.

"A job. You're kidding me, right?" Out of amazement at his stupidity, I asked again "You're coming at me with a job right now?"

"Think I'd come at you on some bullshit?... Once in a lifetime, John. You know me. I do my homework." He reprimanded

"All right, so what do you want me to say here?" I asked walking over and sitting on the opposite end of the couch

"You ain't got to say shit. Just remember I was the one left bleeding on that fire escape in '04. And they tried everything they could to flip me. I ain't budge, 'cause we had a deal. I kept my end." He began to rant

This rant didn't mean shit to me. Me and the team did what we did so he could get caught to keep Jade and Lilly safe from his everlasting abuse.

"I kept this, too." He paused lifting his shirt showing his bullet wound scar as he stood before continuing "You owe me, bruh. All of ya'."

"What were you, boosting Camaros back in Riverside when me and Gordon decided to let you in?" He then sneered

Oh, the low blows...I wonder how he'd feel to know I made Jade feel better sexually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually than he ever could even if she allowed or gave him the chance to try again.

"So, don't be so quick to write me off." He concluded

"All right, I'll talk to the boys and I'll get back at you tomorrow." I rebutted

He sarcastically then said, "Mmhm. You do that." before hardly placing the glass down on one of my glass tables as he began walking towards the front door.

"Love the place...Alarm system sucks, though." Ghost said before walking out of the front door leaving me in silence for a bit wondering how me and the guys would have to bite the bullet to get rid of his belligerent ass again.

"Jade." I then thought before I rushed up dialing Aj's number that he picked up on the second tone

"What's up, bro?" He asked as I rushed out of my front door

"Get to Jade's now. Ghost is back and I don't know whether he knows where she lives or not." I said making the end of the line go silent before Aj said "I'm on my way."
