Chapter 23
I do love them in this world
The shining me, the precious soul of mine
You awoke the following day with a troubled heart. You're exhausted and wonder whether you can't just take the day off. You spoke to your family last night; your parents are pretty busy with their business. Sajuh will be in Seoul in a month to represent the Indian Legacy Club and speak about Young Entrepreneurs. He requested that you accompany him. You were overjoyed to see your only brother.
You were so close until he got married and relocated to a different part of town. He was displeased with your parents for arranging your marriage with a cheater boy while you dated in preparatory school.
You had spoken with Priya, who was seeking advice on a boy who seems interested in her but whose ex-girlfriend and her friends are causing her headaches. She likes the boy as well, but she is afraid their parents would find out and begin negotiating a marriage between them. His parents are members of the Billionaires' legacy club.
You and Alia were taken aback when you discovered that the school's heartthrob liked Priya. Alia encouraged her to go for it, and you told Priya to listen to her heart.
You're terrified of telling your family that you've found your soulmate. Mukhi and Sajuh battled your parents a few years ago, but you were not yet a member of the billionaires club. After Sajuhs' marriage, your family was recently welcomed into the Legacy club. They now can arrange the marriages of their remaining daughters, and sadly, you and Priya are the unlucky ones. Mukhi and Maira are doing well as well. You felt more relaxed and able to sleep once you finished catching up with your family.
Sona informed you that she will be leaving this weekend and that her soulmate from Ghana will come to pick her up to meet his parents at a resort. You were astonished when she found him. Sona informed you that she will be married in December and may relocate to Jeju Island, where her sweetheart is now working. Even if you're frightened to meet yours face to face, you feel so thrilled for her.
You opted to dress in one of your stunning designer outfits that morning. An Indian-printed shirt in white, pink, and blue, paired with tight-fitting pink leggings and jewel-encrusted sandals. You finish with ancient gold Indian pattern earnings, a little pink gloss on your lips, and a dash of mascara... At the very least, it attracts attention to your eyes, which are one of your best features, along with your well-formed lips.
After a small breakfast of a toasted cheese sandwich and a cup of coffee, you and Alia grabbed your bags and rushed to the bus stop in order not to miss your bus. You arrived just in time to get started. Alia swiped your cash card and strolled to the back of the bus. The bus was not full. You greeted several of the students and waved to them.
You were at the rear of the bus on your way to university. Fortunately, you finished your work before the deadline, and Alia agreed that you'd hand it in early after the final touches.
Alia looks at you with a sad expression, "You'll never guess who phoned me last night." Her eyes are a bit downcast.
"Don't tell me that was Ranveer," you said.
You arched your brow. It had to be that loser.
She gives a nod. "Yeah...he warned me that running would not change his mind about the marriage...Samiya Ranveer wants his inheritance, and I'll ensure he gets it. Everyone knows he's in a relationship with that model. How can I possibly marry such a jerk? ...who took my affection and flung it back at me. Samiya, I was so naive, "With tears in her eyes, she said. She loved Ranveer, but because of him, she became numb to all things romantic. She had evolved into a cold, chronic dater.
You hugged her on the side, "Everything will be fine. Don't be worried. Vidhan and Ranveer will not cast a shadow over our stay here, promise ", but your heart is racing erratically as you realize you would suffer the same fate if your soulmate rejects you.
Why would he settle for you when he has a stunning Korean girlfriend who looks like a tv star? Will Seokjin even give you a second glance? You are aware that you and Alia are currently ranked as two of the top ten most beautiful girls in India, and you are presently fourth in the rankings, with Alia in the second position.
Alia took a deep breath. "I'm hoping to get my late whisperer mark because it's the only thing that will save me from this forced marriage. His parents appear to adore me and want me to be their daughter-in-law. Ranveer despises it, but the possibility of inheritance compels him to sacrifice his love for his model girlfriend. I'm sure he'll continue his affair with her after the marriage. I can't accept a loveless marriage. Sami."
You have a determined expression on your face as you stare at her. "We're in South Korea, and we're going to forged our path. We are adults with the ability to make our own decisions. I'm not going to let an old custom, not even the Flippen System, dictate my fate. I don't mind if my soulmate rejects me. We're going to have a fantastic time in Korea. Forget about it all. Be Alia, the girl who doesn't give a flying fig and does anything she wants. Make a date with the cute Korean guys who are currently eyeing you at Uni."
Alia smiled broadly and hugged you tightly. "Thank you so much, my best buddy. What shall I do if I don't have you? You are the breeze behind my wings." You both giggled. You had already entered the University entrance; The student body was racing to get to their first block of lectures on time.
You and Alia made your way to the language lecture halls. The weather is a touch cool today. You noticed a black van with tinted windows parked in the parking lot. As you recognized the vehicle as your soulmates', your heart began to throb terribly in your chest. You don't sense him in it and exhale a sigh of relief.
Today, you will become fully aware of him. You're going to hide somewhere he can't find you. Soulmates with girlfriends usually seek out their mates to activate and complete the bond or reject it entirely. A celebrity will undoubtedly reject the bond since he is still on his company's dating ban list.
Your European buddies were already seated in the language classes. Today, your lecturer taught you about pronouns and how to greet people informally and officially. Your lecturer congratulated you on your pronunciation, and you smiled. Alia gave you a thumbs up because you were practicing alone.
Sabine and Daphne were in a group and had to demonstrate their knowledge through a short role-play. A doctor with a patient. You and Shruti were in a group as Secretary and boss, respectively. Alia was teamed with Malik, who frequently flirted with her and made you giggle now and then when you saw her strike him on the head with the folders. He always irritates her with inappropriate pick-up lines.
It was time for lunch, so the group swiftly packed up and walked towards the door in a relaxed manner. You felt nervous butterflies in your stomach once more, knowing that your soulmate was somewhere around. Shruti turned around smugly and waved a silver card in front of you, and you all looked puzzled at her antics.
Alia's brow furrows, "What exactly is it? ...why are you smugly flaunting that card in our faces?"
Daphne cracks a smile."Does that look like a credit card?" She grabbed Shrutis' hands in hers and looked at them intently.
Daphne
Shruti smiled. "No, my friend got me a position at the university as foreign aid for new students, so if you need anything, such as dorm accommodations, minor jobs around campus, or Alien ID-Cards, let me know. I'm the go-to person."
Sabine whimpered, her eyes wide "Oh, no! Why are you so fortunate? I'd like to work in a coffee shop as well...please let her get me a job as well." She makes a nice pout on Shruti's face. You all just gently chuckled. Sabine is quite the entertainer. She's the smallest of the three of you.
Sabine
Alia beamed an ecstatic glitter in her eyes, "I want my agent to negotiate for me to work as a model here in Korea. They have several agencies here."
Daphne scoffs, "Only if you're Korean. But you can give it a shot...maybe you'll be the lucky one. "At the very least, you are beautiful."
"They will take me...foreigner, or not," Alia snorts, pulling her chin up. "This gal isn't going to accept no for an answer!"
"True...Alia is a go-getter," you laugh. Your new friends know your status in your own country, but they treat you normally, something you and Alia greatly enjoy.
Shruti smiled broadly, "Well, gals, this silver card isn't just a card... it's a special access card to the faculty cafeteria."
Shruti
"What!!!" said Daphne, as all of you stared at Shruti with your jaws dropped. She can go whenever she wants and dine with the lecturers and professors in the same room.
"Yes, my little darlings...Yours truly is welcome to brunch with the personnel. And as a student staff member, I had the exclusive right to enter with a maximum of five of my friends at once and order from the franchise food stalls as I pleased." She had a smug smile on her face, and her eyes were glittering as she danced around you, showing off the card. Alia snatched at the card, but Shruti smirked triumphantly.
Sabine moaned, "Why!!! am I getting jealous all the time...Nooooo!!!" She yells gleefully while throwing her hands in the air. Alia laughed and patted her on her back.
The door guy just smiled at the five of you and waved you through. He was motioning for you to choose a seat. Shruti smiled and led you to the black seating near the food booths. The green seating areas are located near the gardens. The five of you promptly reserved two tables near the food stalls.
You looked around with interest and found only two elderly faculty members eating and drinking out of cups in the corners. They must be lecturers.
This is incredible. You are essentially the only group in the facility. You put your bag behind your chair and your diary and phone on the table.
"This is so awesome...can we please come here often," Daphne says with a grin.
Shruti nods and smiles. "Yes, but only if it's a 50% discount. The food is significantly more pricey here, and some members of the Billionaires club may apply for a platinum club card. But getting in here is tough. So the best option is to look for a student job on campus."
Sabine laughs. "That's unfortunate, and my grades for this term will be insufficient to qualify me for faculty positions. You must know people in authority."
Alia chuckled and jumped up after placing her bag on her preferred seat, saying, "Let's go and order before more professors arrive. I want the juiciest burger with loads of greens."
"Come on, Samiya!" She didn't waste any time and almost dragged you out of your seat. You were sitting between Alia and Sabine.
Alia took her credit card and would buy meals for the group today. You five stood up and walked a few feet to the food counter. Korean food was available at the counter next to them. At Bobby Burgers and Fries, there was a cute guy and a cute girl. You all got burgers. Shruti orders a vegan burger while you and Alia order cajun chicken burgers and a side salad bowl to share. You got a bottle of strawberry-flavored water, whereas the rest of the girls prefer Korean sodas.
As you waited for your order, the five of you were laughing. Daphne complained that her legs might give out after such a long wait. She'll simply sit, and you may call her when her food is ready.
Alia and Sabine were chatting in Korean with the cashier's assistant. They wanted to put in as much practice time as possible. When the cashier was astonished by Alia's knowledge, you smiled at the two. You will not embarrass yourself in such a way. No way, Shruti and Sabine were still browsing for something sweet to order for dessert when you felt a mysterious tug in your stomach.
When four people entered the cafeteria, the attraction was so strong that it drew your attention to a side entrance in the back. They were chatting and laughing. Your breathing became painfully sharp in your throat. You became so uneasy that you hid unconsciously behind the three girls who didn't detect the little weirdness in your behavior.
It was Hobeom and another guy who was in between your soulmate and a beautiful girl...his girlfriend. You notice your soulmate faltering in his steps as he furrows his brows in search of what he perceives to be his soulmate's presence.
You made a point of keeping your face down and ignoring the longing and excitement in your stomach—every fiber of your being desired to rush to him. Butterflies erupted as you noticed how good and handsome he looked in dark ripped jeans and a bright yellow hoodie that fit perfectly around his broad shoulders. His hair was silky smooth and glossy, and you couldn't believe how beautiful your idol soulmate indeed was. He's smoldering. It's no surprise that the ARMY adores him. Mr. WORLD-WIDE HANDSOME!
As you noticed him glancing around with furrowed brows, the girl next to him motioned for him to follow her. His gaze tracked you till it found you. However, your gaze was not drawn to them.
Your emotions have already been tapped into each other, and you know that his entire focus is on you from that point on, but you won't succumb to the temptation by glancing at him and his girlfriend.
The thought that they were all in here together made you feel depressed and defeated, but you pushed those feelings aside. You're not going to make yourself miserable. You must realize that he has been taken. Your friends didn't notice the famous bunch who entered from the back and was already seated.
Alia grins as she furrows her brows and notices you directly behind her. "Why are you hiding...could you maybe assist me with the drinks? I'll carry our meal." She motions for you to take the drinks to the counter. You hurriedly and with a trembling hand got a tray and set all the drinks and sodas, straws, and napkins on it before walking behind the other girls, stealthily hiding behind them.
You immediately placed the tray on the table, and the girls helped themselves to their drink selections before opening their meals to begin eating. You can't settle because you and Jin are seated just across from each other, and both were entirely in each other's sight. You won't be able to eat or even relax, and you could almost feel his stare on you. You immediately lost your appetite and just nibbled on some of your fries while keeping your eyes down and trying to play on your cell phone.
Sabine leaned in closer to the table, a giddy smile on her face. While the others sat, those who sat with their backs to the Bighit group leaned in as Sabine gestured to them and whispered in a whisper-yelled voice, " Oh my goodness! Guys, don't turn around... Seokjin and his management are sitting in the back... Oh my goodness, he's so hot!!!" Her eyes were wide with deep ecstasy.
"Oh my goodness!" Shruti screamed gently. She swiftly turned around to catch a glimpse of the group, blushing brightly when the managers noticed her.
Shruti and Daphne were both hyperventilating. You merely shook your head, snacking on a bit of fry, as they fangirled. The famed group simply smirks. You roll your eyes inwardly at the ARMY mode that your friends have just entered.
The girls' eyes immediately lit up like fireworks, and they were enthusiastically murmuring about Seokjin in their presence. Daphne and Alia look at the group and smile brightly, openly checking him out.
Alia noticed Hobeom's surprised expression and gave him a nonchalant thumbs up and a wave, to which he responded. Sabine and Shruti were taken aback by Alia's confidence, and she swiftly explained how she knew them. You, on the other hand, were uncomfortably aware of Jin's fleeting gaze on you, but you just couldn't look him in the eyes.
Alia enthusiastically shook your arm and said, "Samiya are you sleeping on Mars!! Your bias is sitting in front of you, and you don't even want to look at him... Take a look at his gorgeous face!!"She was discreetly shaking your arm.
You become flustered by Alia's quite excited whispers and yell at her to keep it down. Your beet-red face made the other girls laugh.
"Stop it, you guys...you're making me embarrassed. Don't look at them." You accidentally gazed up into Jin's calculating eyes that we're fixated on you. It unnerves you so much that you almost spill your drink. You had the girls in stitches, and you gave them each a stinky eye.
Daphne gasped wide-eyed at Jin, who was merely smirking, knowing the effect he had on you. His girlfriend narrowed her eyes and observed Daphne's sexy smile on Jin, who was only smirking. Still, his eyes were only on you... not on the blond girl, but somewhere else, and she was frowning heavily because of the group's evident admiration for her boyfriend, Jin.
............
When Seokjin awoke this morning, he couldn't stop thinking about his gorgeous soulmate from his dreams. He realized he had to talk to her right now. He even instructed Yoongi to drive Kookie to school. He'll arrive at the university early to chat with his professors without being surrounded by adoring admirers. His brothers were taken aback by his demeanor. He appears to be in a good mood today. Hobi even remarked that it was because he was wearing yellow. Colors that are highly bright and cheery.
Namjoon looked relieved because Jin-Hyung had appeared distracted during the photoshoot the day before.
Before 8 a.m., his managers, Hobeom and Hanbin arrived to pick him up. Fortunately, his managers were escorting him through the hallways. Few of the early faculty members waved warmly at him, but the younger ones, visibly ARMY, were easily distracted by his tall stature and relaxed demeanor. Jin, contrary to popular belief, was an introvert who was also confident and quite witty.
He was compassionate, and he had contagious windshield laughs that could make even the most stoic friends, such as Suga, crack a smile.
He and Hanbin dashed to his Drama Theory class to turn in an assignment and get the dates of his upcoming tests. For extra credit, he also took Korean Advance lessons. Because of the demanding forthcoming schedule in October-December, he wants to complete his final year quickly.
September is a generally free month for BANGTAN. It's time for everyone to double their university workload. Jungkook is excited to graduate next year.
He went to hand in his language assignment after chatting with his lecturer. The language professor is also one of the lecturers who teach Korean to international students. She is a terrific teacher and a huge fan of BTS. Her children and husband are all ARMY members, and he gave them band autographs over agency rules.
When he and Hanbin entered, she was busy preparing for her first lesson of the day.
"Mr. Kim...good morning honey, you're up unusually early today," she exclaimed, her smile beaming.
"Good morning, Ma'am," he says with a smile and a polite bow." yes. I just wanted to turn in my two final assessments." He drew the folder from his bag and handed it to her. She scans his paperwork until she gets a smile on her face and nods.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Kim...If your schedule allows it, I have a proposal for you. It's just for credit. It could help you graduate sooner. "She looked at him with curious eyes. Jin was dubious, but he accepted the folder she handed him."That is, assuming you are available...You're one of the most promising language majors I've ever seen. I understand your situation; however, most international students keep their fangirling to a minimum. You can select one student to tutor for a few days on this module." She smiles as she describes the segment of the topic. "Depending on the hours, it will take at least two to three days. Six senior Korean majors will be chosen to tutor as part of their credit.'
"How many students must we assist if I take this opportunity?" Jin asked Hanbin.
" Due to your hectic schedule, you can only accept one student. If you agree, I will tell you the credits you will receive. The list can be found in the same folder as the instructional module. My class has nearly 12 students." She explained.
"OK, I'll go through the list, consult with my agency, and e-mail my responses to Ma'am." Jin will inform her. He doesn't want to add to his stress by accepting another burden. But the possibility of graduating early excites him. He'll first consult with his company and parents.
He and Hanbin went to his Film class after his consultation. Hobeom was waiting outside, and the three of them made their way to the Film department for his two-hour film session.
A wave of deep contentment washed over him as he sensed the essence of his soulmate all about him. His heart is filled with longing as he wishes he could only see her. Those expressive eyes had him up for two nights.
He and his manager sat in the back. The hall was packed to capacity, and Jin felt a twinge of pity for his lecturer, who had to supervise almost 200 film students in a single session. The kids couldn't concentrate because he shone in his glorious presence. Hanbin and Hobeom chuckled as they witnessed the professors' irritation at the fangirling. He even threatened to expel them from his classes if they failed the next assignment. Jin only smirked silently.
Hanbin informed the professor that they were leaving. They are permitted to leave 5 minutes before the scheduled time. His lecturer will send him his term assignment via e-mail.
When they get to the end of the hallway, Hanbin jokes, "Hey, Jin, your professor is quite taken with you. She wants you to acquire more credits so you can finish your difficult year."
Jin grins and looks at the folder, oblivious to the fangirling and quiet hyperventilating going on around him. Hobeom smirks at Jins' obliviousness, his gaze fixed on the contents of the folder.
Jin nods, "Seems so, but if I can just finish this final year, one of the stressors will be gone." When he spotted a name on the list that made his heart race, his eyes unexpectedly lit up, and a smirk appeared on his full lips. FATE can be as great as you want it to be.
When they arrived at the faculty cafeteria, they were greeted by a joyful Noodle-Joo. As she has seen her very handsome boyfriend approaching, her eyes gleam with inner joy. Jin smiled at her, and they swiftly hugged, and she was greeted with a kind bow by the management. She looks gorgeous with her hair in a cute bun, a white floral and blue printed shirt, and expensive golden earrings.
She and Jin are both members of the Billionaires club, and they each have a platinum card to enjoy the benefits of this institution. In Konkuk, there are only six students who are members of the Legacy Club.
Noodle-Joo smiled as she gazed up at Jin, her face shining. "I'm pleased today, Jin... he called me last night."
Jin furrows his brows and looks down at her, exclaiming, 'Who!'
Noodle- Joon pulls his arm down to her height and whispers, "My soulmate...he wants to meet up with me...oh Jin finally!"
Jins' eyes widened, and he smiled broadly. "Oh my goodness! Honestly. We can now inform our parents and put an end to this insanity."
Noodle laughs and links arms with him. Jin felt a sharp tug in his stomach as they entered after the managers. His soulmate is around. Oh my goodness. He felt goosebumps run down his spine, which excited him. He stumbles in after Noodle, who has gripped his hand.
His gaze wanders throughout the cafeteria, looking for his soulmate. He was glancing around the café intently. He counted five girls and only a few faculty members. Then his gaze is drawn to a group of people standing at Bobby's Burger and Fries. When he sees his beautiful girl, he grins. She isn't wearing her mask, and her facial features are stunning, but he knows she was aware of him. From a distance, he could detect her emotional state. Both of their feelings revealed a tense eagerness.
Jin smirks, knowing instinctively that she was glancing at him while he was staring at her. Noodle-Joo frowned as she noticed him stumbling in his steps. The managers have already taken their seats.
Noodle-Joo taps him on the arm and says, "Jinnie...come on! Don't worry about the girls; if they start fangirling in your face, Hobeom will keep them away from you."
Jin murmurs, "I'm not afraid of them; they appear to be a calm group of foreign girls."
They walked up to the table and seated. Because Hanbin had already ordered the group's lunch, a Korean cuisine food stall waitress came to their table.
"Thank you, dear...you can deliver our orders now," Hobeom smiled up at the delighted waitress. 'What are you going to drink, Jin?'
"Milki's blueberry flavored, please," he said with a smile and almost caused an aneurysm to the waitress. He pulled out a folder and a notebook. Jin smirked as the managers engaged in a conversation. Jin smirked when he saw the name again, and he merely wanted to make sure it was the same name. He instantly sent an e-mail to his professor after comparing the name in the notebook to the name on the list.
Good morning, Prof.
I have decided to take on the extra tutoring...for three days a week beginning next week. I'll be available starting Friday of next week. I'll be taking only one student for the time being, if that's acceptable with you, Ma'am. Please assign Mia Dholakia to my list. She is from New Delhi, India.
Regards,
Soekjin, K
SENT...
Jin closed his newest Samsung with a sly smile.
"Hmm, it appears that the girls have taken note of you, Seokjin...look at how they are fangirling. At the very least, they are respectable and in their proper place." Noodle-Joo stated, furrowing her brows. Jin simply smiles as he lifts his head from his notebook. He noticed his girl blushing with embarrassment and whisper-yelled at her grinning friends who said something to her.
Their eyes locked, she looked down with a flustered expression, and Jin's breath hitched in his throat. Those pupils' eyes. He began to react to her while she was munching on a fry. He was utterly enamored and had no idea how to deal with it. He needed to talk to her, and he knew she was attempting to avoid him by looking down and making sure they didn't lock eyes too long.
Hobeom tells Hanbin about the girl whose phone he broke a few days ago when the group asked who she was when he waved with a smile at her.
The waitress delivered their lunch, and everyone enjoyed their kimchi dishes. Because of the soulmate's presence, Seokjin appeared incredibly content and happy.
..........
The girls were chatting and laughing as they finished their lunch. You just tried to eat a mouthful of your burger because you were hungry. Softly chewing, you nearly choked on your food when you noticed your soulmate pick up a familiar notebook and deliberately raise it to his chin, staring straight at your stunned and wide-eyed eyes.
"Oh my goodness...my notepad," you inaudibly whispered as you noticed a faint smirk on your soulmate's luscious lips. His gaze alone was enough to drive you insane. It's almost as though FATE wanted you to meet. You desperately wanted your book back, and you felt a feeling of relief wash over you. Your designs will not be lost forever. Your concern was unfounded. Thank you, Lord! But then another emotion appears...fear of getting control of your notepad from your soulmate. How are you going to get it back? You're not going to approach him casually. Oh my goodness!
You couldn't take the intense gaze in his eyes any longer...you need to get some fresh air...just to recollect your emotions. Is your soulmate aware of what he is doing to you? You'll never be able to function normally. You abruptly jump up and grab your bag in front of your stunned friends, who gaze at you puzzledly.
"Er...guys, I need to go to the library to get my new card...still there's a free block after lunch. I'll find you here, or I'll text Alia when I'm finished. It may take a little time." You bolt from the cafeteria.
Jin smirked, and he was well aware of the impact he had on you. The attraction you felt in his presence drove you nuts, and you had no choice but to run. She will hide from him; he is aware, but she is unaware that he is a master at hiding and seeking games. And because of the soulmate bond, he can sense her from anywhere.
He immediately gathered his books and backpack and apologized to Noodle, "I need to meet my Prof quickly as possible, please excuse me. Hanbin, don't worry, I'll put on my sunglasses, mask, and cap. I'll call you and meet you at the van." He quickly kisses Noodle on the cheek and dashes away from his managers' stunned expressions. He's got to find his girl.
You dashed to the library as if a pack of wolves was following you. A new addition was made to the existing one. You came to a halt on the steps leading up to the library and exhaled loudly as you tried to compose your emotions.
When you got inside the library, you headed straight to the front desk. You quickly approached a young man who was working on the computer about renewing your media card. Regrettably, you did not bring your ID card or proof of address. You secretly wished to hurl profanities. You groan and ask where the books on fashion design may be found. He motioned to the stairs on the third floor. You thanked him and walked away.
Suddenly, you notice a guy wearing a yellow hoodie, and you know it's your soulmate. Your heart was thumping erratically as you crept behind some shelves and dashed to the stairs.
Jin had a look around. As intensely as he senses. You are in the library. He grins as he looks up to the second open plan and notices pink-clad legs running up the stairs fast. He shook his head and smiled internally at his soulmate's antics. She was adamant about hiding from him.
He's not going to let her slip through his fingers again.
You frantically looked around and went into an aisle to hide in the back. Fortunately, there was no one in that area. As you stood quietly, you exhaled deeply while you leaned against a shelf silently. You kept your body steady while taking regular breaths. Soft footsteps could be heard, and the nerves were on high alert.
" Mia?" You heard your nickname whisper, and his voice is husky as he calls out quietly once again. With a unique accent, your name sounded completely different. You were well aware that your attempt to flee had failed horribly.
Your handsome soulmate in all his magnificence in front of you. He was leaning against the shelf with one arm, his eyes widening at the sight of you. You were 3 meters apart, but the deep longing and awe in your gaze resonated in each other's hearts.
You couldn't help but notice his tall posture, broad shoulders, and piercing eyes peering deep into your brown irises. You sighed and pursed your lips, bracing yourself for the inevitable.
Jin was caught off guard by your gorgeous looks. You are a little shorter and have a lovely curvy figure. Your eyes attracted him to the point where he couldn't help but be in amazement as he moved in a daze toward where you stood with a determined look.
"Whoa! Whoa! "he shouts out in amazement and awe as he looks at the most beautiful girl in front of him.
"Whoa!..Whoa!..what? You'd never seen the epitome of World Wide Beautiful," She retorted sassily. Jins' eyes quickly lit up with a glimmer of excitement. He gives a big, heartfelt smile. That is his girl, and her Indian accent is quite seductive. As he stood in front of her, she just watched him with apprehensive eyes. Their hearts were racing in unison.
"You're a sassy little girl," he smirks as he admires your pursed lips. FATE provided him with a charming soulmate.
"Yeah... ..please Jin...just do it and get it over with..." you mutter tiredly, looking down at your sandals with your hands wrapped over your torso. You quietly raise your eyes, mournful. Jin's forehead furrows in confusion.
"What should I do, Mia?"He sensed your anguish and melancholy as you exasperatedly threw up your hands.
You couldn't take it any longer. The tension of the last few days has taken its toll on you mentally.
"Reject me!" With a sob in your voice, you whisper, and you could feel your eyes welling up with tears. Looking at your soulmate's startled gaze, you turn your back, not daring to face rejection in his eyes. What makes you think he'll accept you?
You braced yourself after sensing him behind you. As you felt his breath on your neck without touching you, the atmosphere surrounding you became charged.
"Is that why you ran away from me...thinking I would reject you?" With a sense of great sadness in his voice, he inquired.
You gently turned around and stared up at his tall stature and into his emotion-filled eyes.
"Yes, and why wouldn't you? You're dating a stunning Korean girl who loves you, and...oh, Jin. You're super famous, and I don't fit in here. Can't you see it?" You screamed quietly.
"I know, sorry, Mia. I'm only doing Noodle -Joo a favor right now, and we're merely dating for her soulmate to accept her." He appears to be remorseful.
"I'm not sure I understand Jin...doesn't idols have dating bans? What drove you to date her in the first place?" Your teary eyes enquire at him.
"I'm asking myself that...but it's complicated. Do you have any knowledge about the Billionaire Legacy club?" Jin sighs. Your eyes widened as the realization hit you square in the face. As you leaned back, it felt as though your legs turned to jello as you leaned against a bookshelf. Your face has been drained of blood.
You appear bewildered in his eyes, which express regret. He didn't know what to say, but he had to be honest with you. Your anguish and disbelief are apparent.
"Oh my gosh!!!!"You mumble something like, "Noodles, and you are both in an arranged marriage. Jin, Jin, Jin! were destined for failure. This is completely messed up!" Your cheeks are now red-faced with tears. Jin wished he could embrace you and kiss your tears away. But he can't activate the bond until you permit him.
"I'm doomed," you said as you turned around and stumbled to a table to take a seat. You dumped your bag on the table. Jin appears to be sad. Because of his soulmate's anguish, The idea that you'd lose him because of the system was unfathomable.
He walked across you while you sobbed softly in your hands.
"Would you please not cry, Mia? I can't bear not being able to take you into my arms. FATE will let us activate the bond. You hurt me, and I'm sharing your pain," he strangled it softly.
"I'm crying not only because I've lost you, Jin, but also because I'm in the same boat. I'm also unofficially engaged at home, with plans to marry in two years. Jin, we're members of the legacy club!" You murmur in hushed tones.
"What! You're ready to marry?" His eyes practically bulged as he realized another man had claimed his soulmate.
You nodded and wiped your eyes. "What are we going to do? You're already in love with someone else. I'll be condemned in a loveless marriage, and I have to sleep next to a man I despised." Shivers ran up your spine as you thought of Vidhan.
Jin had the sensation that he was drowning. The very suggestion of his soulmate being with someone else made him nervous. How will they get by? He already loves her.
"Mia...For the time being, Noodle is my girlfriend...but I'm not in love with her. Our parents chose our fate and rigged the system." He looked into her sad eyes, sensing every emotion she was feeling. They do not have a choice, and he doesn't have much choice. He had to do it.
"Mia..please look at me," Your wide eyes, black lashes drenched in tears, glance at him with sadness and defeat. His eyes were filled with a soft expression, and his eyes were filled with love.
"I'm not rejecting you, sweetheart... let's activate our bond!"
You gasped!
