At the charity auction, Margaret Alford stood in front of the crowd with the finger trap still stuck on her fingers. "And this magnificent piece is encrusted with rubies and fifteen emerald chips," The Auctioneer informed everyone before gritting his teeth, "Uh, it was donated by Morticia and Gomez Addams." There was clear hesitation due to the former owners and so the Auctioneer quickly spoke, "Remember, this year, over half of our proceeds will benefit the elderly and the mentally disabled. I'll open this bidding at five thousand dollars." The crowd was still uninterested in an item previously owned by the outcasted family.
"Five? Hah! Not good enough," Gomez chuckled before calling out, "Twenty thousand!" Margaret turned her eyes to the man and incredulously asked, "What are they doing?" She was ignored as the Auctioneer spoke, "I have twenty." The crowd was clearly confused on why the Addams' seemed to bidding for their own item but perhaps they truly wanted to keep it. "Twenty-five!" Gomez called out as Lillith stood in the back of the room, she had her arms crossed as she watched with a small smile on her face. "Twenty-five," The Auctioneer confirmed. "Cara Mia," Gomez teased his wife who simply smirked his way.
"Thirty," Morticia bid with a smirk towards her husband, "Mon sauvage." Gomez grinned as he leaned closer to her, "Thirty-five!" He raised a brow at her, "Eres divina." Morticia smirked deviously as she countered her husbands bid, "Fifty!" Lillith shook her head fondly as Wednesday approached her and leaned against the wall next to her. "I have fifty thousand dollars!" The Auctioneer called out to the crowd. "Your turn my ecstasy," Morticia whispered seductively to Gomez who, instead of bidding, simply began kissing up Morticia's arm too aroused by her seduction and teasing.
"Fifty thousand going once... Fifty thousand going twice. . . Sold to Morticia Addams for Fifty thousand dollars!" The Auctioneer called out however, neither Gomez nor Morticia were paying attention because they were too busy passionately kissing and moaning in pure love and ecstasy. "The love between your parents is..." Lillith trailed off making Wednesday sigh, "Too much?" He was sure that she would be embarrassed to be around them due to the PDA. "No, I mean... maybe for others," Lillith corrected as she turned her head to look up at Wednesday, "To me, it's admirable and quite beautiful to see. We need more passion like theirs in this world."
Wednesday felt a shiver of delight hearing her words, his eyes locked with her own leaving him admiring the ocean that seemed to ripple softly under the reflection of the moon. "That's different. . . Usually others are disgusted or uncomfortable by the love between my parents," Wednesday expressed to her openly, the words coming easily as he talked to his zing. "Oh well, that's on them. Your parents have a love that deserves to be seen and maybe others will learn to be a little more carefree and open about their own feelings and passion," Lillith responded to him with a soft smile that melted the ice around Wednesday's heart completely, he was falling in love quickly and willingly.

Lurch was driving the Addams' and Lillith back to their beautiful mansion, Fester seated between Gomez and Morticia with the finger trap on his fingers. Wednesday, Pugsley and Lillith sat across from them with Wednesday in the middle seat. Lillith had bravely snuggled up into Wednesday's side and the teenager was quick to wrap his arms around her and hold her close to him which soon lead to Lillith falling asleep comfortably in Wednesday's protective hold. Morticia and Gomez shared a loving and proud look at the sight of the two, Wednesday noticed but simply turned his head away to watch the world pass by.
Fester frowned slightly seeing Lillith so calm and relaxed, the entire time he had known the teenager she had never been so settled and comfortable. "Isn't it too enchanting?" Morticia asked Fester as he turned his attention to the finger trap the Addams' had bought back in the auction. "How do you get it off?" Fester asked her causing Gomez and Morticia to share a look of surprise, Gomez' face fell at the words. "There's a trick to it," Morticia said as she worked to remove it. "Of course," Fester muttered while Gomez furrowed his brows in concern and suspicion. Wednesday narrowing his eyes at Fester.

When they finally got back to the Addams' home, Wednesday had gently woken Lillith from her car nap before half carrying the sleepy girl into the house, a smile never leaving his face as she stumbled slightly in her steps. Fester had disappeared to his own room while Pugsley requested Morticia to read to them, Gomez wished them goodnight before dazedly walking off to his own space. Wednesday frowned at the sight of his father, he shook it off as Morticia lead the three kids to Pugsley's room where the boy had quickly changed into some pyjamas before crawling into his bed. Wednesday sat down on the couch by the bed as Morticia settled by Pugsley with a book in hand.
Lillith went to sit down next to Pugsley when Wednesday snatched her waist in his hands and pulled her to sit with him, she was startled slightly but didn't fight him off. Wednesday's arm rested around Lillith's waist as she snuggled into his side, her head resting on his chest as his free hand came to hold one of her own. Morticia was reading to the kids though she had a proud smile resting on her face at the sight of her son accepting his One, she had been worried about that but was glad to see that he found someone like Lillith. Even if Morticia was sure that Lillith was working with Pinder-Schloss and Tulley to steal from the family.
However, downstairs in his study, Gomez was playing with his model train set. "How do you take it off? That's absurd! That finger trap was a party favour at his tenth birthday!" Gomez muttered to himself with a deep frown. The sound of the train whistle echoed through the home startling Morticia, Wednesday and Pugsley who shared a look. "Oh no," Wednesday breathed out. "Father's playing with his trains," Pugsley said with a pout. "He wore that finger trap for two years. Mother had to teach him to eat with his feet. And the combination. And the password. And my cigar... and he slept so well!" Gomez continued to mutter as he pulled down a lever.
"He's using the diesel," Pugsley added with a sigh as Morticia frowned, she rested her hand on Pugsley's arm while Wednesday's hold on Lillith tightened slightly. In his room, Fester was gathering his tools to make an attempt at breaking into the family's vault. Meanwhile, Gomez had his train head into a covered bridge which echoed through the home. "The covered bridge," Wednesday said before pulling Lillith onto his lap completely, holding her close to him for comfort. "Is everything okay?" Lillith asked him softly, relaxing in his arms. "Just fine, mi reina," Wednesday muttered to her, his breath against her ear set a chill down her spine along with the spanish words she didn't understand.
The train made a sharp turn, it's whistle blowing loudly throughout the home. "Dead man's curve," Morticia told the kids. The movement from the trains shook the entire home, everyone could feel it. In the meantime, Fester entered the library and pulled the book that opened the passage. He entered and quickly reached the section that held multiple levers however, he couldn't remember which was the correct lever. He decided to take a guess, as soon as he pulled it, a metal hand came down and snatched his wrist pulling him up. "It's all about Uncle Fester, isn't it?" Wednesday questioned his mother.
Morticia was about to reply when she spotted Fester shoot past them in a water tube. "Spirit above me, give me a sign. Shall I be joyous or shall I be damned?" Gomez questioned as he watched his trains closely. As soon as he asked that, two of his trains crashed into one another and exploded which shook the whole house. Morticia excused herself from the children and heading out of the home while Pugsley had taken the book and decided to read alone. Wednesday allowed Lillith to stand up, he then took her hand in his own and lead her out of Pugsley's room. Fester was shot out of a flap with Pugsley's name on it. He lay on the dirt, soaking wet with fish flapping all around him.
Morticia stood before him in her black coat, her eyes shadowed under the moon slightly covered by clouds. "Sleepless night?" Morticia asked her brother-in-law as he spat out water, she sighed at him. "Walk with me, Fester," Morticia asked. The two walked through the cemetery past the graves that had statues of their deceased relatives including the angel who watched them walk by. "Aunt LaBorgia. Executed by a firing squad," Morticia spoke as they walked by a statue that had bullet holes in it. "Cousin Fledge. Torn limb from limb by four wild horses," Morticia pointed out as they passed another statue missing legs and arms.
"And darling Uncle Eimar. Buried alive," Morticia told Fester as she looked at another statue before sighing, "Psychopaths. Fiends. Mad-dog killers. Brutes, Fester. Pioneers. Lest we forget." They walked towards a statue of a vulture, "Your beloved Muerto. After you left, he was simply a different vulture. He wouldn't circle. He wouldn't peck. That's how much you mean to this family." Fester lowered his gaze at her words before they move onto the next statue that was a couple standing on a chariot. "Mother and Father Addams. How I wish the children could have known them better... but tell that to an angry mob," Morticia expressed to Fester.
At the bottom of the grave was a crest and a motto written underneath it. "And our credo, 'Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos nunc.' "We gladly feast in this who would subdue us." Not just pretty words. As an Addams, you understand completely, don't you?" Morticia asked Fester. "As an Addams... yes, I do," Fester replied to her cautiously, she stared at him for a moment longer before smiling softly. "Goodnight, Fester. Rest in peace," Morticia told him before she turned to walk away leaving him to look back at the grave of his 'parents' with a frown on his face before rushing off to his room.

Lillith was having trouble falling asleep, she felt tired but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't fall asleep. Lillith got out of bed, she looked into the standing mirror at her tired reflection, she wore a black tank top with a pair of fluffy black shorts. She reached for the silk robe that hung on the side of the mirror and wrapped it around herself, tying the belt before stepping into her fluffy slippers. Silently, Lillith made her way out of her room and down the stairs of the Addams' home smiling at Lurch as she walked by him. She headed outside onto the back porch, leaning against the railing with her eyes turning towards the mostly clear night sky.
She felt herself relax as she watched the small fluffs of clouds float by as the world turns. "Trouble sleeping?" Wednesday's voice was soft yet deep as he stepped up next to Lillith. "A little. No matter what I try to do, I can't seem to fall asleep," Lillith answered him, she frowned slightly as the past few days she had been sleeping fine and now, she couldn't fall asleep. "Perhaps something is keeping you up," Wednesday suggested as he focused his attention on her, he was sure that he felt her unease almost as though it were his own. "Well, it seems that I'm unaware of what is bothering me," Lillith replied to him with a pout.
The two were silent as they looked up at the stars, the silence was comfortable and calming as they stood in the presence of each other. After some moments of silence and Wednesday having a mental debate, the teenage boy finally let his inner desire take charge. "Come with me," Wednesday reached for Lillith's hand and she let him take it, following behind him as they headed back inside. Within a few moments, Wednesday had lead Lillith straight into his room and closed the door behind them. Lillith looked around his space with a intrigue before letting the boy pull her towards the bed. "If you are comfortable, you can stay with me," Wednesday offered.
"As in... share the bed?" Lillith asked softly, she had never slept in the same bed as a boy before, especially not one that she was beginning to definitely crush on. "Well, I couldn't help but notice you seem to sleep peacefully when I'm near," Wednesday told her with a smirk, he took a few strides towards her until he was standing in front of her. "If you aren't comfortable, I can escort you back to your own space," Wednesday added in a low tone, his hand reaching up to brush Lillith's hair out of her face. "I'm, uh, comfortable. As long as you watch those hands," Lillith warned with a small smirk eliciting a chuckle from Wednesday who held his hands up, a cheeky smirk on his face.
Wednesday walked around to the left side of the large bed while Lillith took a deep breath and moved to the right side. She removed her robe and carefully placed it on the couch that sat a small distance away from the bed. Wednesday turned towards Lillith after pulling the blankets back only to freeze at the sight of so much skin, he took notice of the burn scars that rested on the back of her left shoulder, it clearly looked as though someone had poured acid or something on her, the thought of someone harming her in such a way sent a rage of fury through Wednesday. He brushed it off as Lillith turned to look towards him, she smiled softly before they climbed into the bed.
The bed Lillith had been staying in was soft and comfortable like a cloud however, Wednesday's bed was a thousand times better and the sweet yet masculine smell of Wednesday Addams surrounded her. Lillith felt the bed move slightly before Wednesday's arms wrapped around her, pulling her back flush against his chest with a small sigh of happy contentment. Lillith relaxed completely in his arms, she closed her eyes and soon fell into a peaceful sleep. Wednesday smiled to himself as he held Lillith close to him, he was perfectly happy holding the brunette in his arms. He finally understood his parents' love, he wouldn't let her go.
