A week went by. Charlie introduced y/n to his friends and y/n admitted that they were pretty funny.
Sarah left the basketball player and everyone could sense her jealousy.

It was lunchtime. Y/n was sat next to Charlie while he was hugging her. Thank to y/n, Marisa and Liam were introduced in the group and had so much fun.
"We have the musical rehearsal, we have to go" Said Charlie grabbing y/n's hand.
She nodded.
"Man, can you wait a minute? I need to tell you something" Said one of his friends.
Y/n looked at him.
"Don't worry, I'll wait for you in class. Bye guys!"
Marisa and Liam followed her while the others of the group smiled and waved in response.

"What did you have to tell me?"
His friend, Carlos, smiled.
"I love y/n. She is so perfect and funny, is not like Sarah. Sarah was mean. Also, with y/n you are happier, I've never seen you like this"
Charlie smiled.
"Yeah, she is amazing..."
"Have you already kissed?"
"Uhm, no"
"Oh, well, don't worry, take your time. With a girl like her you don't have to rush too much, it's worth it"

Charlie was going to class when someone stopped him and went in a empty class.
"Sarah?"
She kissed him.
"I missed you so much"
"What are you doing?"
"Oh c'mon. Let's stop pretending and get back together"
Charlie bit his lip. He didn't want to give up so quickly.
"I'm sorry Sarah, but y/n needs me, she is waiting for the musical rehearsal"
He winked and left the girl alone.

Y/n was in the school theatre. Marisa and Liam were sitting watching their friend. The teacher handed the scripts to the students and when the girl opened it, her eyes widened.
"Is everything ok, miss Joyner?"
"Y- Yes... I need a moment"
She got off the stage and ran out of the theatre.
Marisa was worried.

She ran into Charlie, who looked at her concerned.
Charlie went next to Marisa.
"What happened to her?"
"I don't know. She read the script and ran away"
The boy bit his lip and followed her.

The girl was in the girl's bathroom when someone approached her.
"Oh, it's Charlie's girlfriend"
She looked at her.
"Sarah, what do you want?"
"Nothing, just tell you that Charlie is totally into me"
"What you mean?"
"He doesn't love you, we kissed in science class earlier"
She felt a pin in her chest and her eyes were wet.
"Oh, poor baby. I know you love Charlie. You were happy to be with him, too bad you don't mean anything to him. Now you can leave and let us get back together"
She looked at the script with wet eyes and dropped it, running out of the bathroom.

Sarah smiled and took the script.

Charlie ran through the school without success. Eventually, he went to the roof of the school and saw her.
"Hey..."
She looked at him.
"Hey..."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing"
He took her hand.
"Y/n, tell me... Please"
She looked into his eyes and sighed.
"I read the script"
"And?"
"There is a kiss scene..."
"Oh... I don't see the problem"
"Really, Charlie? A kiss. I can't kiss you"
He looked at her.
"Why?"
She bit her lips.
"Oh... It's your first kiss, right?"
She blushed and nodded.
"Charlie... I've never kissed someone before and I want a real kiss... Not a fake one"
He nodded.
"Yeah, I understand"
"I'm sorry... Maybe it wasn't a good idea..."
"What you mean?"
"I left the musical"
"What? Why?"
A tear fell on her cheek.
"I know that you like Sarah, I can't stay with you anymore... It's so painful"
After, she left the boy alone on the roof.

Marisa saw Sarah in the stage take y/n's place.
"She's a-"
Liam put a hand on her mouth.
"No bad words"

When Charlie returned to the theatre, Marisa went towards him.
"Where is y/n? What happened? I swear that I'll punch you in the face if-"
"She said she doesn't want to be with me anymore because she wants to give space to me and Sarah"
Marisa looked at him.
"You care about y/n. What are you going to do?"
He was confused.
"What you mean?"
"Will you really let y/n walk out of your life because of Sarah?"
He bit his lip.

That afternoon, y/n closed herself in her bedroom and stayed there for three days. She turned off the phone, didn't go to school and didn't see anyone. She wanted cry and scream.

After three days, someone knocked at the door.
"I'm not in my room"
"Y/n, you just talked. I know you are there" Said Marisa
Y/n got out of bed and went to open the door.
"Marisa, I'm trying to die alone, what do you need?"
"My best friends. Everyone at school is asking about you"
"I don't care"
"Y/n, Charlie is worried too"
"Really? Because he didn't care when he kissed Sarah and used me to get back with her. Now they are the perfect couple in school"
Marisa sighed.
"They are not a couple. Charlie is not dating Sarah. She is still around him and tries to have him back but he doesn't care because he is worried about you"
Y/n was surprised.
"I don't think so"

Y/n threw herself back on the bed and covered her face with the pillow. Marisa followed her.
"You know what? I'm tired. Get out of bed, from now on back to the real world"
"No, I don't want see his stupid face"
Marisa sighed.
"I know you still love him"
"Yes..."
"Listen, the musical sucks. Charlie and Sarah aren't good together, they don't have the same chemistry as you and Charlie"
Y/n sighed.
"Okay, here's what we'll do. We are going to have a girls' night. Ice cream, tv series and gossip. But from tomorrow you return to civilization"
Y/n smiled.
"Fine"
"Now go take a shower and change outfit. I can see all the meals on your shirt"

When y/n was ready, went next to Marisa on her bed. After a bit, someone knocked at the door.
"Come iiin" Said Marisa.
A girl opened the door.
"Hey, Marisa, as soon as I read the message I ran here"
Y/n was confused.
"You called Carolynn?"
"Sure, you were a desperate case. In these days I had to pass food to you from under the door"

Carolyn sat next the girls.
"Y/n, what's wrong?"
"Nothing Carol, I swear..."
Marisa put a hand on her face.
"You will explain everything while eating ice cream"
