After the winter trip, a lot of things changed. Charlie and Sarah broke up forever. Marisa and the random guy didn't last longer and Liam and Carlos became the best couple in the school. Y/n and Joshua soon became best friends and he took Charlie's place in the musical. When y/n said that she no longer wanted Charlie in her life, was serious. Since that day, she did everything to make sure he didn't exist. She didn't speak to him, didn't look at him and ignored him. The only thing she didn't know was that Charlie had never stopped worrying. He hated seeing her with that boy and in that moment, after losing y/n, he realized that he felt true love for her, but maybe it was too late to fix it.

Y/n hugged Joshua from behind.
"Hey boy, what are you going to do on Christmas day?"
He smiled and hugged her.
"I think I will stay with my parents and the others of the family"
"That sounds boring, my brother and I usually do a party with all our friends, would you like to come?"
Liam, Marisa and Carlos joined the conversation.
"I heard party?" Asked Carlos
"Yes, the Christmas party at Joyner house is the best"
Y/n looked at the boy.
"So?"
He smiled.
"Okay, I'll come"

Charlie was talking with Owen.
"What can I give to y/n?"
"Are you still thinking about my sister? Didn't she tell you to leave her alone?"
"Owen, I want to be honest with you. I love her. I was blind not to have noticed but I love her. Having slept with Sarah was a mistake, but I want y/n. Every time I see her with that boy I get nervous, I would like to run to her and hold her tight to me and then kiss her to show everyone that she is mine"
Owen looked at him.
"You really love her?"
He nodded.
"Even if it were, if you could get forgiven, what would you do with the transfer?"
He bit his lip.

It was finally Christmas day. She got up and went to wake up her brother.
"Good morning Owen!"
He yawned.
"Good morning to you too"
She handed him a gift.
"Open it"
He smiled.
It was a watch.
"I love it"
He handed her a gift too and she opened it with a smile. It was a beautiful bracelet in rose gold.
"Oh my god, I love it"

When she changed herself, she went downstairs and helped her brother for the party.

It was all perfect. She put pop corn, cookies, a cake and other stuffs on the table and when the doorbell rang, she went towards it and opened it with a smile.
"Marisa!" She hugged her friend
"I don't have a Christmas present, but I hope my friendship is enough"
Y/n laughed.
"Don't worry, same"
After was the turn of Carlos and Liam.
"Hey guys!"
"Hey mini Joy, you know that you look like an angel today?"
She hugged the boys.
"Hey sporty, what's my present?"
He smiled and handed her a plastic bag with a goldfish inside.
Her eyes widened.
"Really?!"
"Liam and I didn't know what to give"
"It's perfect"
She went in the kitchen and took a transparent vase for the fish.

After a bit, Jeremy and Carolynn joined the party. They were all in the living room when the door bell rang.
"Oh it must be Joshua!" She stood up and opened the door.
"Hi J- Oh..."
"Hey Shawty" He smiled.
She bit her lip. Even if she hated him, his smile always made her feel something, something special.
"Why are you here?"
"Merry Christmas to you too"
She crossed her arms as he looked at her sadly.
"Shawty, listen... I'm really sorry, this time without you was terrible, I miss you and I want you with me"
She looked behind him and saw a boy.
She smiled and ran towards him.
"Joshua!"
He smiled and hugged her, making her spin.
Charlie looked at them sadly.

Once they were all in the living room, Marisa started to talk.
"First of all, let's exchange gifts, then we can play all evening"
They all laughed.
Carolynn gave y/n two tickets for her favorite concert, Jeremy gave her a red dress and after was Charlie's turn. He went next to the girl, nervous, but was interrupted by someone who took y/n by the wrist.
"I think it's my turn"
Joshua handed her a box with some holes.
"What is it?"
"Open it and find out"
She smiled and opened the box under the gaze of all.
"Oh my god..."
She took a puppy and hugged it.
"It's a dog!"
Joshua laughed as she hugged him.
"Do you like it?"
"No, I love it!"
Everyone looked at them.
"Uh, someone has a crush" Said Carlos as Charlie glared at him.
"Can we play now?"
Everybody nodded.

"What about truth or dare?"
They agreed.
"Carlos, truth or dare?" Asked y/n
"Uhm, truth"
"How much do you love Liam?"
He looked at the boy.
"A lot, more than you all could ever imagine" And they kissed
"Okay uhm, Charlie. Truth or dare?"
"Dare"
"I dare you to stay in a room for seven minutes only with y/n"
She glared at him.

Y/n and Charlie were closed in the closet. She was looking away while he was scratching his neck.
"So..."
"Don't talk to me"
He sighed.
"Please"
She didn't reply.
"Ok, I know you want Joshua. I see how you look at him"
She looked at Charlie.
"Really? How I look at him?"
"As if you wanted to go to sleep with him"
She was socked.
"Oh yeah, you are the right person to tell me things like this, since you slept with Sarah"
"I told you that I'm sorry"
"You are not sorry, you used me and now you are telling me that I only want Joshua for his dick, you are the worst person in this world" Said with tears in her eyes.
Charlie looked at her sadly.
"I'm sorry, I didn't-"
"Yes, you always didn't, but you did"
She went out crying.
Charlie sighed.

At the end of the party, Charlie knocked at the girl's door.
"I don't want to talk with anybody"
He opened the door and saw the girl on her bed with the dog.
"How did you call it?"
"You care?"
He sighed.
"I know you don't want to talk to me or see me but... I have to give you my gift"
"I don't want it"
He sat next to her.
"Shawty, there are no excuse for what I did, I was an asshole. Maybe I realized it too late but everytime I see you with that boy I get jealous. I hate when he touches you because I want to hold your little body in my arms, I want to kiss you and show everyone that you are mine. Y/n I love you and I made a mistake but I really love you, I can't lose you... Please"
She looked at him.
"I think it's time for you to go"
He sighed and kissed her cheek.
"You know, I love your dress, you look like an angel"
And went away.

A tear fell on her cheek as she saw the little box on her bed. She opened it and took a necklace with a small heart.
"To my shawty,
I love you and I always will"
