She got up from the chair and started to walk towards the stage.
"You didn't answer to my messages, I was worried. If it's because of Sarah, I-"
She put a finger on his lips.

They both blushed.

"I'm sorry for not answering you... But-"
"I know. It's my fault. Using you to have Sarah back wasn't nice, I messed up. You are more important than her and I realized it when you are gone. You are my best friend and your friendship is the most important thing to me"
She tried to smile.
"Same, you are my best friend Charlie, I don't want lose you..."
He smiled.

Y/n looked away.
"So, how it's going with Sarah?"
"You saw, not well... Anyway, I've decided to not date her until you get better"
"Charlie, I'm fine"
"No, you are not. If dating Sarah means losing my best friend, then no"
She smiled.
"I appreciate it... Anyway, you two dance so well!"
Charlie laughed.

Both their bodies were close. Charlie gad one hand on the girl's hip and the other intertwined with hers. They both looked into each other's eyes, nobody said anything. Charlie's gaze fell to her lips and y/n stepped back, pulling away.
"Well, it was fine"
Charlie scratched the back of his neck.
"Yes... Please take Sarah's role"
"Charlie I don't know, miss White already give the part to her"
The teacher walked in the theatre.
"I gladly give you her part"
"Really?" Her eyes lit up
"Yes, she can't dance, is a disaster, also I can feel the chemistry between you two"
They both blushed.
"We are just best friends" Said Charlie
"Yeah. But thank you for the role miss White!"

After rehearsal, y/n took her bag and walked out of the school. Charlie followed her.
"Hey!"

"Where are you going?"
"It's friday so... Cooking school"
He smiled.
"Can I come with you?"
She was surprised.

"Yes, you said that every friday I should have come with you"

She blushed and also did Charlie.
"I mean, I want to go to cooking school anyway, not the fact to be a couple..."

When they arrived, y/n handed him a white kitchen apron.
"I would have liked it better if it said 'kiss the chef'"
Y/n smiled.
"Me too, I wouldn't have thought twice about doing it" She blushed and tried to change the topic as Charlie giggled.
"Can you take the flour?"
He nodded and took it.
"What are we going to cook?"
"Pizza"
"Uh, I love it!"

Charlie put a finger on the flour and placed it on the girl's nose.
"Hey!"
"Ahah, it's funny!"
Y/n did the same with his cheek.
"Yeah, so funny!"
Y/n giggled and Charlie looked at her softly.

When pizza was ready, they went to Joyner house.
"So you want to come in and eat pizza with us?"
He nodded.
"Hey Owen I'm home!"
"Hey y/n, oh... Charlie. Why is he here?"
"Owen, keep calm. It's okay"
"No, he hurt you!"
Y/n took Charlie's hand and intertwined their fingers.
"Owen, it's okay, trust me"
Charlie looked at their hands and blushed.
"Fine..."

After dinner, Owen went to his room to study and y/n and Charlie were left alone.
"I had fun today"
Y/n smiled.
"Me too. Do you know how we should end the day?"
"How?"
"With a tv series!"
Charlie giggled.
"You are right"

Both were sitting on the girl's bed.
"Hey, I remember this peluche!"
Charlie took a teddy bear.
Y/n smiled.
"You gave it to me when I was four years old and I was afraid of the dark"
"I didn't know you still had it"
"Of course! It's special to me!"
He smiled.

Y/n blushed and put a tv series.
"Brooklyn 99?"
"Of courseee! I love it"
"Me too!"
They both laughed.

It was almost midnight. They were both lying on the bed. Y/n had her head on the boy's chest when she yawned. Charlie looked at her and smiled.
"Are you sleepy?"
"N- No"
"I think yes. It's almost midnight, you meed to sleep and maybe I should go"
She squeezed the boy's shirt in her small hand.
"Please, stay here"
He smiled and stroked her hair until she fell asleep hearing the boy's heartbeat.

Charlie took his phone and saw a photo that Sarah sent to him that afternoon.

Sarahmjeffery Can you explain why is she dancing with you?
Charles_gillespie Because miss White gave her your role in the musical

Charlie smiled seeing the photo and posted it on Instagram, then fell asleep with her friend.
"Good night, sleeping beauty"

The next morning, y/n woke up in the boy's arms. Smiled seeing his beauty face and started to rub his cheek. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled.
"Hey"
"Good morning, sleepy head"
"Good morning, shawty. Did you sleep well?"
She nodded.
"You heartbeat helped me sleep"
He smiled.
"To me was the scent of your hair"
Y/n blushed and changed the topic.
"Do you want to male pancakes?"
"Sure!"

When Charlie went to the bathroom, y/n went down the stairs and picked up her phone.
