Haylee sat in a secluded part of Star Labs, she held a tablet in her hand and she was watching live footage of Cisco in the bunker; she glared at the silver band on her wrist before watching as a small blue aura covered it for a moment before fading. "Hello Cisco," Dr Wells' voice pulled Haylee back to the tablet in her hand. "You've been busy," Dr Wells continued as he walked into the room clapping his hands. "You really are incredibly clever, Cisco. I've always said it," Dr Wells added as Haylee's memories flashed, and her heart rate picked up.

"You're him... The Reverse-Flash. Joe was right this whole time, wasn't he?" Cisco asked the man, anxiety gnawing at him. "Good ol' Joe," Wells spoke as he closed the laptop, his gaze focused on Cisco. "Joe West had his doubts all along. Even from that first night in the hospital, Joe knew that something wasn't right," Wells expressed with an annoyed tone. "Cops... as inconvenient now as they will be in a hundred years," Wells continued as Haylee felt a strange energy surge through her, she looked at her wrist to see the silver band melting.

"You killed Barry's mother. I want to know why," Cisco demanded. "It was never my intention to kill Nora. But from my perspective, she was already dead. It just happened sooner than it was supposed to," Wells answered with a shrug as he paced closer to Cisco with his hand raised, Cisco fell back into the machine. "You're not gonna get away with this," Cisco told him. "I'm not gonna get away with it?" Wells asked mockingly before Cisco pushed the remote button, the force field buzzed on. "Oh, you're smart," Wells says through a chuckle.

"You're smart, Cisco. But you're not that smart," Wells said before walking through the field, Haylee's body exploded with energy causing the building to shake. "There it is..." Wells spoke as blue energy entered the room. The energy morphed back into Haylee, her eyes and hair blue as she glared at Wells while protecting Cisco as Joe fired his gun, a single bullet hitting him in the chest as Barry hit the field. "No! He didn't confess," Barry said from where he sat on the ground, Haylee's hair and eyes returned to normal.

"Cisco, are you okay?" Haylee asked him, he let out a breath. "Yeah. I'm never, ever gonna sleep ever again, but, yeah, I'm okay," Cisco answered as he noticed the missing band. "He's dead," Caitlin spoke after feeling for a pulse. "He didn't confess. Joe, this was it. My dads gonna be in prison forever," Barry told Joe while Haylee looked at him, her heart aching at his pain. "Barry, I'm sorry," Joe told him. "Hey, uh..." Cisco pulled their attention to the body as it morphed into someone else. "What the hell?" Haylee spoke with wide eyes.

"I told you this before," Wells' voice echoed through the bunker, Haylee's eyes began to shine blue again as she looked at the others. "I am always one step ahead... Flash. Allow me to reintroduce to you Mr Hannibal Bates and his incredible ability to transform into any person he touches," Wells explained as Haylee looked down at the man. "I knew that ability would come in handy. I did not expect it to come in handy this soon," Wells continued. "You used him! Like you used all of us!" Barry replied angrily.

"Well, he served a purpose. Didn't take much convincing, just the simple promise of his freedom," Wells teased. "You ruined my life! All our lives!" Barry snapped at Wells. "We stood by you after everything that happened," Caitlin added as Haylee moved toward Barry. "I can see how this must be difficult for you to understand, but trust me, your lives now are so much better because of what I have done for you," Wells expressed joyfully, Haylee let out a slow breath. "But it was all a game of chess, right? We're the pawns on your board," Haylee added.

"And now it's your move," Wells replied to her, the lights within the room flickered as Haylee tried her hardest to keep the energy within her at bay. "You don't have to hide anymore. We know you're not Harrison Wells. Just tell us who you are," Joe asked him though his eyes were focused on Haylee and Barry. "A confession will get you nowhere. You've seen who I am. You know what I can do," Wells replied to Joe. "You want to kill me, go ahead," Barry began ignoring how Haylee's head turned to him instantly.

"I'm not gonna fight you. But just tell the police what you did. Get my dad out of prison," Barry requested while Haylee looked down at the energy in her hands. "I don't want to kill you, Barry. I need you," Wells replied before chuckling. "And... I also did not anticipate, as difficult as the past fifteen years have been for me, how much I would come to love working with you. With all of you. And yet, that does not change what needs to happen," Wells expressed. "Then face me now!" Barry told him. "Oh, we will face each other again. I promise you. Soon. Very, very soon," Wells spoke before it went silent.

"He's in the time vault!" Cisco told Barry who took off instantly. "Haylee?" Jesse stepped closer to Haylee, the energy reacted and hit Jesse causing him to drop to his knees and grab his head. Both sibling's eyes began to glow as the energy began to surround them preventing the others from getting too close to them, Haylee's eyes were closed as Jesse's began to shine a dark blue; a sudden hit of power sent both of them flying in opposite directions into the walls. Caitlin rushed over to Jesse while Cisco and Joe made their way over to Haylee, the energy fading.

Haylee's eyes opened slowly, her head was pounding as she sat up on the bed. "Not again..." Haylee muttered as she looked at the machine, she turned her head to see Cisco standing in the Cortex. "Cisco?" Haylee called out, he turned to her and let out a slow breath. "You're awake!" Cisco spoke as he walked over to her. "And very confused," Haylee told him as she rubbed her temples in hopes to ease the headache. "You turned into literal energy," Cisco told her before biting down on his lip, "But the energy was too much for your body to handle so it searched for a matching host."

"A matching host? What are you--Oh, my God..." Haylee looked up to see Jesse standing there with a similar power aura to her, though his was darker and familiar. "We choose the title "The Bolt"... How cool?" Cisco asked with a grin, Jesse nodding as he played with an energy ball in his hands. "Yeah... I've met future you. He kicked my ass in a fight before warning me about Wells," Haylee told her brother and best friend before pulling the IV from her arm. "Whoa, careful!" Caitlin scolded as she walked in. "Where's Barry?" Haylee asked.

"He's out..." Caitlin answered as she looked at the other two. "Doing what?" Haylee asked them, she raised a brow at the three. "Searching for Eddie. Wells took him," Jesse answered her as his power faded, he swallowed slowly as Haylee sat on the bed. "Insurance. Eddie is related to him so, that's probably his rope in the timeline," Haylee expressed before she ran her fingers through her hair. "Are we brushing past the fact that I'm a meta?" Jesse asked, the others nodding leaving him to shrug.

"Your eye movement is normal. No signs of neurological damage," Caitlin assured Barry as she checked him over after his run-in with a criminal that held a frequency that affected him. "Do you think the thief might have been a meta-human who put the whammy on you or something?" Cisco questioned him. "I... I don't know. When Rainbow Raider got in my head, all I felt was anger," Barry replied while Haylee nodded, she remembered that time; she got to work with Oliver again, she misses Oliver.

"But this was not that. This was just overwhelming fear," Barry finished off. "Hmm," Cisco pulled up the footage onto the computer screen. "Looks like when you went down, the thief got disoriented too," Cisco explained. "Maybe we both got whammied," Barry replied to Cisco while Haylee focused on the suit the thief was wearing, the way they went down with Barry. "Then you know how it feels," Iris' voice caught everyone's attention. "Hi, Barry. Or should I say The Flash? Haylee, or The Glitch?" Iris questioned with an unimpressed look.

Author Note
So... Jesse is The Bolt?!
And Iris knows the truth now, how will that go down?

{I will be making a few changes, obviously, considering Haylee's personality}
