Ricky Martin as Vincent Brager

── ⚡ ──

"Mason Bridge is missing. He's not at home, he's not answering his phone. I mean, it's not like him. I am really worried that something bad has happened," Iris rambled to The Glitch as they stood inside Jitters. After Haylee saw a message from Iris begging for The Flash or The Glitch to meet her at Jitters, she was willing to answer it as a distraction from the wild theories in her mind due to the Trickster's words. "I'm sure he's fine. He seems like the kind of guy to fall into a bottle of bourbon and a story of a lifetime," The Glitch replied.

"That's what Eddie says. That's what everyone is saying. Please, will you look into it?" Iris asked The Glitch with pleading eyes. Under the mask, Haylee let out a slow breath before nodding, "I'll see what I can find out. But I make no promises." Iris let out a breath of relief as Cisco's voice came through her comms. "Heads up. Trickster's broadcasting again," Cisco informed Haylee who perked up. "Can I borrow your laptop?" Glitch asked Iris who nodded.

Glitch set up the laptop and clicked onto the broadcast, seething in anger at the sight of the wannabe trickster. "Get ready for the games to begin! I have... a bomb! It's a big bomb. It'll make a big band and then a big hole and then a big drop in the population," The wannabe spoke as Glitch's eye shone in anger. "But never say the Trickster is not fair. The bomb is somewhere between 52nd Street and Avenue B," The wannabe finished off as Glitch turned to leave.

"Why would he be willing to share the location?" Iris spoke up in curiosity causing Glitch to sigh in realisation. "Because it's a distraction," Glitch spoke before pressing her comms. "Flash! It's fake, there's no bomb!" Glitch spoke but she got no response causing her to sigh. "Why would he do this? Take the name of a man from years ago and replicate the attacks?" Glitch muttered aloud as she paced. "Wait... He looks around twenty, right?" Iris spoke up gaining Glitch's attention.

"His son. It's the Trickster's son. Thank you, Iris!" Glitch told her before glitching out of the building, she knew where to go from there and she hoped she'd make it on time. As she glitched through the streets, she tried to reach out to Barry with no luck. She spotted the blur a few times but knew she couldn't stop; it wasn't long till Haylee reached Iron Heights prison. Glitch let out an annoyed huff as she landed in the cell where the wannabe stood in front of the former Trickster.

"Well, hello there!" James Jesse spoke with an amused smile on his face before he stepped in front of the wannabe Trickster. "I've heard all about you, little Glitch. But you wanna know my favourite piece of information?" James Jesse taunted as he walked closer to her. "Games over. You're both gonna be locked away," Glitch told them with a glare. "Now, now. Haylee Brager, that is not very nice," A voice spoke sending chills up Haylee's spine.

Haylee turned around to see her father standing there, his eyes shone a red before fading out; the smirk resting on his face sent a wave of fear through her body. "Hello, daughter," Vincent spoke before stepping forward. "He tricked me... Had me doubting everything..." Haylee muttered out upon the realisation that James' words were a mental manipulation game; just like he did with his former psychiatrist. "It was such an easy task getting into your head," James spoke before he and the wannabe left.

"You know, if we weren't opposing foes, I'd be so proud of you, Magnolia," Vincent spoke as he stepped forward with his taunting smirk. "That's not my name," Haylee seethed out at him, shivering uncomfortably due to the name. "It was the name I gave you at birth, Magnolia. And nothing will change that," Vincent snapped at her. "I changed that! My name is Haylee Noelle Brager," Haylee whispered out, she was trying her hardest to control her anger and fear.

"Oh, my dear Magnolia... You are simply confused. That night... It wasn't me," Vincent pleaded, the sudden shine of his eyes caused Haylee to gasp at the strong pinch within her head. "I wasn't thinking straight. My therapist tells me schizophrenia but I'm better now. We can be a family," Vincent spoke, his voice echoing through her mind as she felt herself falling under a trance. "You, me and your brother... the three of us against the world," Vincent continued, his eyes bright red.

"Haylee? Something's happening to your brain waves. What's going on?" Caitlin's voice pulled Haylee from the trance causing her to step back. "Echo manipulation? You seriously think that'll work on me?!" Haylee snapped at him before the two rushed each other. Haylee pushed off of the ground before throwing a punch into Vincent's face, the impact hardly did anything to him before he moved quickly and efficiently around her before kicking her in the back.

"Haylee?!" Barry's voice came through the comms, the team back at the Cortex watched the screens showing her vitals and suit details; damage to her suit showed up red on the screen. "You will not win against me, Magnolia!" Vincent shouted before grabbing Haylee by her throat before she could stand up; pinning her to the wall as she struggled for air. "Haylee? I'm coming to you," Barry spoke through the comms as they watched her lung vitals turn red due to lack of oxygen.

"N-No!" Haylee shouted through the comms before building up energy, sending Vincent flying back into the wall opposite them. Haylee fell to her knees before looking up at Vincent, he stood up and brushed himself off as sirens caught their attention. "How unfortunate, Magnolia. Until we meet again," Vincent taunted before he took off leaving his daughter on her knees, tears streaming down her face painfully burning against her static skin. "Barry..." Haylee whimpered before she passed out on the ground.

Haylee groaned quietly as she slowly blinked her eyes open, thankful for the dull lighting within the room she was in. "Haylee?" Barry's soothing voice caused Haylee to turn her head to him, a sad look in his eyes. "What happened?" Haylee whispered. "You got hurt-" Barry began but Haylee shook her head causing Barry to sigh. "James Jesse took my dad hostage," Barry told Haylee, her eyes widened and she instantly sat up ignoring the pain in her body.

"We have to find him!" Haylee instantly said as she ignored Barry's protests. She climbed out of the bed, stumbling on her feet as Barry rushed around to steady her. "You were hurt bad, Hayles. You need to rest, we'll handle it," Barry assured her as he held her up but Haylee pushed him away from her as she took a breath. "I'm fine, Barry. I should've been focused on James Jesse. Your father being taken is my own fault," Haylee told him before walking out of the room.

"Haylee, I have to agree with Barry. You weren't only wounded but you experienced mental manipulation that has taken an effect on you," Dr Wells expressed but Haylee glared at him, her heart pounding within her chest before she turned to everyone. "Just stop! Stop babying me all the damn time! God, it's like you all forget that I can look after myself," Haylee snapped at all of them, her eyes shining bright blue to show her anger.

Everyone stayed quiet as they stared at Haylee, she rolled her eyes at them as the lights brightened in the room. "I'll do it myself," Haylee seethed out before leaving the room. Barry swallowed dryly before looking at Joe, the father figure to both was beyond concerned as he stared at the spot she once stood. "Call Johnny and Jesse," Joe told them before making his way out. "She'll be okay, right?" Cisco asked with a worried expression. "Barry," Dr Wells spoke catching Barry's hesitant attention. "Perhaps it's Oliver she needs to talk to," Dr Wells suggested.

Haylee stood on the edge of the CCPN building as she looked out at the city, taking a moment in time to just process everything over the past almost two years. Haylee never thought she'd ever face her father again, the thought of him being out there brought back the fear she carried for months after her mother's death. And on top of that, the fact that Harrison Wells wasn't who he claimed to be, after spending so much time looking up to him; she couldn't find it in her to trust him anymore.

"They said I'd find you here," Oliver spoke as he pulled the hood from his head. The moment Barry called telling him what happened with Haylee, Oliver dropped everything and got over to Central City as quick as he could. "I want to be alone, Oliver. Just go," Haylee snapped with her focus on the city rather than Oliver. "I wonder where I've heard that before? We've been through this before Haylee, you can't push everyone away when things get hard," Oliver told her as he walked closer, he smiled as her shoulders slumped.

Before Haylee could turn around and punch him, Oliver grabbed her wrist and twisted her around before throwing her to the ground. "You're angry. Fine, but this isn't how you help yourself," Oliver continued but Haylee just pushed off of the ground and got into a fighting stance. "Your pushing and pulling again Haylee and it's gonna hurt you in the end," Oliver told her sternly before blocking her kick; he grabbed her ankle and pulled her towards him.

Haylee stumbled into his arms, Oliver held her tight against him but she began to fight back against him causing him to sigh. "Haylee... stop..." Oliver whispered into her ear. "Just let it out... Let it all out," Oliver cooed into her ear before letting go and stepping from her. Haylee took a breath as a lump formed in her throat before she dropped to her knees, a loud powerful scream left her mouth as electricity pulsed throughout the sky, lighting up the city.

Once the power faded out, Haylee was left in the dark sobbing painfully as every ounce of pain she ever felt washed over her. Oliver walked over to her, kneeling down before slowly reaching his hand out to her; she instantly wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace. Oliver held her against him, running his fingers through her hand while whispering reassuring things into her ear. On the building across from them, Barry watched sadly - He wished it was him reassuring his girlfriend rather than the man she once loved.

"That's a kinetic bomb, Barry! You need to run!" Haylee shouted into the comms from the Cortex. After her burst of energy, her powers slipped away - drained - resulting her in staying behind at the Cortex while Barry saved Iris and Henry from Jesse James and his son, Axel. "He wasn't lying. That thing's linked to a speedometer, and it will blow if you stop moving," Cisco told Barry as Haylee anxiously bounced her leg.

"I can't run forever," Barry replied as he rushed through the streets. Dr Wells moved towards the mic before pushing the button, Haylee watched him closely. "Barry, do you see any walls nearby?" Dr Wells asked him. "Why?" Barry panted back. "Because I need you to run into one. Or more accurately, through one," Dr Wells explained causing Cisco and Caitlin to look at him crazy while Haylee crossed her arms.

"If you vibrate at the natural frequency of air, your body... your cells will be in a state of excitement that should allow you to phase right through that wall, leaving the bomb on the other side," Dr Wells explained to Barry, Haylee had to - unfortunately - agree with Harrison's explanation. "Should?" Barry asked doubtfully. "You can do this. I believe in you," Dr Wells told him but Barry shook his head to himself. "I can't..." Barry replied softly.

"Listen to me, Barry. Breathe. Feel the air. Feel that wind on your face. Feel the ground, your feet lifting you up, pushing you forward, and the lightning..." Dr Wells expressed to Barry with his eyes closed, Haylee watched him with a harsh glare. "Barry, feel the lightning. Feel its power. Its electricity, pumping through your veins, crackling through you, travelling to every nerve in your body, like a shock. You're no longer you now. You're part of something greater. You're part of a speed force. It's yours. Now do it," Dr Wells finished off, opening his eyes.

"Barry?" Haylee hesitantly spoke. "Oh, that felt weird. I'm good," Barry assured them, Haylee leaned back in the seat and glanced at Dr Wells before locking gazes with Cisco. Haylee got up from the seat and walked out of the room, she wrapped her arms around herself before walking aimlessly into a room; she looked up and furrowed her brows at the sight of the containment trap they created to catch Reverse-Flash; a sudden pain within her chest before shaking her head and walking out - missing the transparent blur of the past fade in and out.

"Wow. Half of this stuff didn't even exist when I was practising," Henry Allen spoke as he stood in the Cortex admiring the room. Haylee stood with Barry as they let Henry have his moment. "Yeah, well, I'd be happy to give you a crash course on all of it if you get out," Cisco spoke as he walked closer before freezing as Henry looked at him. "I'm gonna shut up now," Cisco added as he pointed at himself while Haylee shook her head. "It's okay," Henry told him with a chuckle before patting Cisco's shoulder.

"Dr Allen?" Caitlin spoke as she walked closer to them. "Yes?" Henry asked. "I'm feeling the need to give you a hug," Caitlin offered as Haylee leaned into Barry. "Absolutely. I will always accept a hug," Henry told her as the two hugged. Henry walked over to Haylee and Barry, the two stood by the cases that held Haylee and Barry's suits. "Wow. You gotta tell me. What does it feel like when you're running down the street like a bat out of hell?" Henry asked them.

"There's no feeling like it," Barry answered. "Trust me, I'm so much cooler," Haylee told Henry who laughed. "I don't doubt that little Noelle," Henry told her before they hugged each other, Haylee melted into Henry's fatherly arms. She didn't want to watch Barry lose his father again, the only bonus this time was, that they were closer than ever to get him out of prison. "Actually, you're all heroes in my book, especially you, Dr Wells," Henry spoke as he turned to Harrison.

"Thank you for everything that you've done for my son," Henry said to Dr Wells as the two shook hands. "Well, your son is an extraordinary man, Dr Allen, and I will do everything in my power to ensure Barry's future," Dr Wells assures Henry who nods while Barry and Haylee share a subtle look. Henry and Barry hugged each other as Cisco linked an arm with Haylee's, the best friends smiled at each other. "It's time, Joe," Henry spoke as he turned to Joe, raising his arms for Joe to cuff him.

"No," Joe told him with a shake of his head and a laugh. "No?" Henry asked him as Joe rested his arm around Henry's shoulders. "No," Joe assured before leading Henry out of the Cortex. Haylee walked up to Barry and wrapped her arms around his waist from the side, Barry's arms went around her before he kissed the top of her head. "You're father's an extraordinary man. You're lucky to have him," Dr Wells told Barry. "I'm lucky to have you too," Barry told Dr Wells as they shook hands before Haylee and Barry walked out determined for answers.
