"You're a friend of his, huh?" Mick asked Haylee after he had tied her down to a chair, the brunette sighed in the realisation that she'd had to listen to whatever crap Mick was about to spout just cause he could. "He's fast... Like fire," Mick stated as he flicked on his lighter. "Fire, it's undefinable. Heat, light, energy. It's an evolution when things burn," Mick expressed openly to which Haylee sighed. "You're sick, Mick. You know that, right?" Haylee told him as she looked over to Snart who was clearly distracted by something else.
"Maybe you're the sick ones. You ever think about that?" Mick asked her with a slight glare. "Not really," Haylee shrugged before leaning back in her seat. "You've got third-degree burns. Why didn't you get skin grafts?" Haylee asked him genuinely. "The fire revealed my true self, showed me who I really am," Mick answered her. "I wonder what your Flash will reveal when I burn his suit and skin off," Mick told her with a sadistic smile.
"Snart! Get your overheated pet away from me," Haylee called out making Mick sneer at her. "You know, Flash will win. You're smart, Snart... But he's smarter," Haylee told him as he walked over to her. "Mick," Snart motioned for him to step back, the fire-obsessed man followed his instruction. "You know, I am sorry about this. You were a light in my childhood but... You left. No goodbye. No explanation. Nothing. Just left. It kind of hurt my feelings," Snart told her.
"My father murdered my mother. Sorry I wasn't able to tell you goodbye," Haylee snapped back trying to ignore the tears welling in her eyes or the look of pain that flashed through Snart's eyes when she said that. "Time to go," Snart announced to Mick. "You better pray the next people that come through this door is us," Snart added before walking away from her. "I guess I don't get a goodbye either?" Haylee asked causing Snart to falter before leaving.
After waiting for certain that they were gone, Haylee focused on her energy and went transparent causing the ropes to fall from her hands. She let out a slow breath as she became physical again, carefully disarming the bomb that they had set up before she got up and walked towards the table. She let out a slow breath at the photo that rested on top of it; Snart and Haylee were sitting on the swings in a park that her mother had taken them to, they both had smiles on their faces.

The Flash appeared at Porter and Maine startling the police who had cordoned off an area to protect the citizens from whatever may happen. "The Scarlet Speedster!" Snart announced as Flash stood a few feet from him and Mick. "Any preference on how you'd like to die? The Flame or the Frost?" Snart asked but Flash stayed silent. "Not in the mood for chitchat. Gotcha. Ready when you are," Snart teased before turning on his gun and powering it up.
Flash did his best to avoid both weapons while Snart and Mick tried their best to hit the speedster, which Snart managed to successfully do causing Barry to drop to his knees and groan in pain. "Barry. Barry, are you okay?" Dr Wells asked through the comms. "You know what you have to do," Dr Wells reminded him. "Yeah, get them to cross their beams and cancel their guns out, I know," Flash answered as he breathed through the pain.
He continued to try and cross the streams but with no success, he was panting from the pain. Eddie, realising that The Flash needed help, rushed out with one of Cisco's riot shields and dropped it in front of Flash before the guns beams could hit him. Once Flash got Eddie to safety, he quickly realised that speed was gonna help him especially when he was distracted worrying about Haylee. So he came up with a plan to do the opposite, he needed to slow it down for the first time since getting his powers.

"Haylee!" Cisco's voice caught their attention, the brunette smiled, shoving the photo into her pocket before she walked over to Cisco and Joe. "I'm glad you two came to save me but I pretty much did the hard part myself," Haylee told them with a smile. Joe shook his head before pulling her into a tight hug, "Don't scare me like that again, baby." Haylee smiled as she melted into Joe's infamous father hugs. "I'll try my best, Papa Joe," Haylee told him.
"Bring it in," Cisco cheered with a smile before embracing Haylee. "I was scared that I had lost you, Haylee. But then I remembered how badass you are and stopped worrying," Cisco told her as they pulled apart. "I appreciate the thought," Haylee told them before they made their way out and back to Star Labs. "How's he doing?" Haylee asked Dr Wells as she walked over, the man let out a breath of relief seeing her. "He stopped them," Caitlin told her with a smile.

Barry looked up with a sigh seeing Haylee walk in beside Joe, he instantly walked up to her and pulled her into a tight hug. "Are you okay?" Barry whispered to her. "I'm fine, Bar. Perfectly fine," Haylee assured him. "Aah! I'm gonna burn every last one of you pigs! Get your hands off me!" Mick's growling voice caught their attention. "Shut up, Mick!" Haylee told him with a glare, the man grunted at her but relaxed enough for the officers to lock him in holding.
"Partner's a real hothead," Joe told Snart whose gaze was focused on Haylee, Barry rested an arm around her waist protectively. "That's funny," Snart replied to Joe with a smile. "You know what's hilarious, Snart? We got you," Joe told him. "Congratulations. I guess this is goodbye then, Brager?" Snart asked her. "Knowing my luck, Snart. Not likely," Haylee told him with a small smile, Snart returned the gesture before he walked away with the officers.
"Nice work, Eddie," Barry complimented. "It wasn't me. It was the Flash," Eddie replied with a smile. Haylee smiled up at Barry, the speedster smiled happily as officers within the room talked about the Flash. "Oh great... Flash is gonna get an ego and a fan base," Haylee playfully whined as they walked towards the elevator. "Well, if it makes you feel any better... I am Glitches number one fan," Barry told her. "Your right, that does make me feel better," Haylee told him before planting a quick kiss on his lips.

"I'm fine, Felicity. You can relax," Haylee assured the blonde as she walked up to the West residence. "Yeah I know, but really, it's not the first time I've been kidnapped so trust me, I am fine," Haylee assured her before noticing Iris walking out of the house. "Yes, Felicity, I know that's not a normal thing to be used to. I gotta go, bye!" Haylee hung up and jogged up to Iris. "All packed up?" Haylee asked the girl. "It feels weird," Iris told her as they hugged.
"It will for a while but trust me, you'll be fine and so will Joe," Haylee assured her. "Well, I've gotta go but are we still on for lunch tomorrow?" Iris asked her. "Yes, we are!" Haylee hugged her again before waving her goodbye and heading up to the door. Haylee opened the door and walked in with a smile, "How's it feel?" Joe sighed with a slight frown. "You'll be fine," Haylee assured as she hugged him.
"It was bound to happen sometime, right?" Joe asked, Barry and Haylee nodded at him. "Want to order some pizza and watch the ball game?" Joe asked them. "Make it pizzas," Barry emphasized the 'S' while Haylee laughed, "And you're on." Joe laughed and nodded in agreement. "You know, if you ever need somebody to come and eat your food, I'm there," Barry told Joe as he and Haylee walked towards the couch.
"Besides, the laundry machines in my building have been broken for, like, a month, so..." Barry added as he sat down, pulling Haylee to sit next to him. "Which is why he's been using mine," Haylee added receiving a kiss on the cheek. "I don't know why you moved into that deathtrap in the first place, since you still got a perfectly good room here," Joe told him, smiling softly at the couple. "You said you were turning it into a gym," Barry replied to him.
"We both know I'm not turning it into a gym," Joe told him which made Haylee laugh as Barry agreed with him. "Besides, you got me running around enough as it is," Joe added with a smile on his face. "You know, it is getting harder to hide the blasting in and out of my apartment at all hours of the night from my neighbours. I suppose it would make sense for me to move back in," Barry expressed with a grin on his face.
"I mean, you are a millennial. That's what we're supposed to do," Haylee pointed out while Joe smiled and laughed. "Well, don't do it on my account. I'll be fine on my own," Joe told him as Haylee moved away from Barry slightly knowing he was gonna move back in with Joe. "Oh, yeah, me too," Barry said before jumping out and flashing to his apartment and back with his things. "All right, roomie. You order the pizzas. I'll unpack," Barry announced making Joe and Haylee laugh.
"No way. I want to help you, I want to enjoy this," Joe told him before handing Haylee and Barry a beer each. "You know this does nothing to me," Barry told Joe while Haylee took off the lid from her own beer. "Just drink it," Joe told him before the three clinked their drinks together and drank. Haylee smiled at the two, the man who was a father to her and the man she was falling deeper and deeper in love with every day.

On the roof of Star Labs stood someone dressed in a full black bodysuit, blue lines of pure energy ran like veins over it as their blue eyes focused on the city surrounding the laboratory. They let out a slow breath when a sudden pulse of energy startled them, instantly a yellow blur shot by them sending them off of the roof of Star Labs. The unknown person rolled carefully across the ground before landing safely and looking up at the yellow blur before them.
"Eobard, is this really a smart choice?" They asked the man who stopped vibrating, his identity becoming clearer revealing Harrison Wells. "Should you really be here, Bolt? It doesn't seem safe for you," Harrison teased with a smirk. "I don't know what game you may be playing Eobard but I will not allow any harm to come to Glitch," Bolt warned him, stepping forward as their eyes shone a dark blue. "I wouldn't harm, Haylee. She's family," Harrison snapped back.
"Ah, yes. We both know how much you truly care for family," Bolt spoke with a sly smirk. "You were modified and created, Eobard Thawne, with a strong bloodline. Perhaps I should reveal to Glitch that her blood courses through your veins," Bolt taunted which made Harrison step forward. "Is this the person you've become? It makes sense though," Bolt taunted as they began circling Harrison. "Glitch was the only person to show you true compassion," Bolt continued with a smirk.
"How are you here, Bolt?" Harrison asked them, his eyes trained on them prepared to fight if he needed to. "I'm simply using my abilities to expand my horizons. I hitched a ride with Rip Hunter to pay a visit to an old friend," Bolt explained vaguely before walking closer to Harrison. "Now tell me, Eobard, how will Glitch react when she learns the truth?" Bolt asked before leaning closer to Harrison, "How will she respond when she learns that she dies by your hands?" And with that Bolt was gone.
