With a genuine smile and a happy strut you let Yaoyorozu lead you into the crowd of people. Most were dancing elegantly with another to the soft music playing. Yaoyorozu stopped in a clear spot, enough space away from other people. She looked at you with desire and glee in her eyes as she held out her eager hand for you to take. With a quick move of the hand you placed it softly in hers, her finger closed around your hand carefully. You watched her mouth curl into a small smile. She pulled you in closer to her body, leaving enough room between you two. Her hand settled on your waist while the other settled on your shoulder, with little knowledge of slow dancing you did the same. A small flustered smile cracked on your face, you let out a small giggle.

"What?" Yaoyorozu questioned, slightly laughing at your giggle.

"I have absolutely no clue how to dance." You admitted.

"That's fine, just follow me and the music, it's easier than it looks. Just don't step on my feet and we won't have a problem." Yaoyorozu teased.

"Oh shut up you." You shook your head.

Yaoyorozu began to sway you both to the gentle and fancy music, after a few moments you were able to get into the rhythm of the music. You were both in perfect sync now. Your eyes locked together as a stupidly happy smile grew on your face, the same smile replicated onto Yaoyorozu's face.

You moved yourself closer to her, laying your head on her chest as you both continued to move gently like a boat in the ocean. Even over the music you could hear Yaoyorozu's heartbeat, it wasn't fast or erratic but instead let out a soft and soothing rhythm.

"This is perfect." Yaoyorozu said, placing a kiss on the top of your rested head.

"You're perfect." You said back whole heartily.

Yaoyorozu pulled you out from her chest with a swift move, she moved her hand from your shoulder into your hand, holding it out as it clasped around yours. Her one hand stayed on your waist, yours did as well. Suddenly the music picked up with a quicker tone. Yaoyorozu gave you one quick smile and wink before moving you both in a faster rhyme, you were able to get a hang of it quite quickly. You both glided on the ball floor as if you were the only people there, because with her it only felt like you two were the only ones that mattered.

You both stayed in perfect sync to the quicker rythmed song, even after Yaoyorozu spun you out then back into her. The song was nearing its end when Yaoyorozu pulled you back in then moved her hand to your back to dip you. Surprisingly she didn't drop you, except pull you back up gracefully.

"W..woah." You said with a small stutter amazed by her and yourself.

"Are you sure you haven't danced before? Let alone partner dancing? You did amazing. Much better than my first time."

"Totally my first time, but maybe it's because I had such a great teacher." You said with a playful grin.

Yaoyorozu returned the grin, then something struck her mind.

"Oh lord, I haven't checked the time yet. I keep forgetting it's new years.." She said scurrying out of the crowd.

You followed close behind her, trying not to interrupt the people dancing. Yaoyorozu stopped near a butler and spoke.

".. I lost my phone, do you know what time it is?" She asked.

He pulled up his sleeve and glanced at his watch quickly.

"10:49, Miss." He answered.

"Thank you, you're the best!" She gave him a grateful smile before coming back to you.

"Okay.. We still have a good amount of time before the whole countdown stuff." She shrugged it off.

"Okay, well.. what do you want to do?" You questioned.

Yaoyorozu thought for a second.

"I can take you to meet my aunt and uncle, they're super nice!"

"Sure, they sound cool." You nodded in agreement and let the girl drag you away by your hand.

She stopped when you both arrived in front of some couches, a man and a woman sat down on one together. The man who you presumed was her uncle looked a lot like her, except male. Same dark hair and eyes, both tall and slim. The woman on the other hand didn't look like her at all, so your guesses were that it was her uncle who was blood related.

"Yaoyorozu and friend, there you are." He greeted with a bubbly personality that didn't match his intimidating looks.

"Hey guys." She said with a smile and sat down on a couch across from them. You sat down beside her.

"And who's this pretty lady? Your plus one?~" Her aunt teased.

"I'm Y/l Y/n. It's nice to meet you both." You gave them a friendly smile, trying to fight off the blush from the aunt's correct assumption.

"Indeed she is, actually she's my girlfriend." Yaoyorozu said and pulled you into her slightly.

"Oh?... Honey, that's great!" Her uncle cheered.

"You guys are just too cute. Yaoyorozu you're lucky." Her aunt said and took a sip of her wine.

"I have to say the lucky one here is me, Yaoyorozu is perfect."

"Awe, oh honey doesn't this remind you of us in high school." Her aunt swooned at her own internalized memories.

He chuckled before leaning closer to you both and putting his hand next to his mouth like a wall to whisper.

"She's had one too many glasses of wine." He said and laughed.

You and Yaoyorozu giggled as you watched her pour another glass.

"You guys want a glass?" She looked up at you two.

"No thanks, I think we're good." Yaoyorozu chuckled at her drunken aunt who was currently over pouring her wine, the red liquid escaped the tall glass and began to run on the glass table it was sat on.

"Oh shit.." She said and tried to wipe away the wine with her hands.

"You're just making it worse."

"My wine~!!" She whined.

"Let's go check the time again." Yaoyorozu said, pulling you up from your seat.

"Have fun with her." Yaoyorozu teased her uncle.

"Heh, it was great to meet you. Have a good night ladies." He gave you a warm smile.

"Bye~! It was nice to meet you cutie, take good care of our Yaoyorozu." Her aunt said, trying not to slur over her words.

"Of course." You gave them a small wave before following Yaoyorozu.

"Wow they were.. a unique pair. I love them already." You said with a chuckle.

"Yeah my aunt gets like that with wine. Sometimes I think we should put her on one of those backpack leashes." She said before being cut off by two people.

"Momo! There you are." A masculine voice said.

Yaoyorozu's hand tensed up, her body stopped quickly.

"Oh, hello mother.. hello father.."
