It was the morning of new year's, the day you have been anticipating for. You were definitely excited and looking forward to the party, but you would be lying if you said you weren't a little nervous. You were currently laying your outfit out on your bed for tonight. You pulled together your best and most chic looking clothes to make an outfit. You also included the necklace Yaoyorozu had gifted you, though to be honest you never really didn't wear it.

"Not bad Y/n, not bad.." You mumbled to yourself, inspecting the outfit.

You still had a good chunk of your day to yourself, since you were on holiday break and the party started around 6pm. With a sigh of boredom you pulled out your phone, opening Mina's contact.

Y/n: I'm bored..

Mina almost immediately responded.

Pea-Brain: so am i, get ur ass to my dorm now

Y/n: demanding

Pea-Brain: hurry, i invited sero and denki

Y/n: omw

You chuckled at your friend as you exited your dorm, keeping a mental note not to stay too long. You walked down the hall, all the way to Mina's dorm. You knocked and the door swung open quicker than you anticipated. You let her very bright and pink room hit you like a wave, your eye definitely had a small stroke.

"God, your room is hard on the eyes." You said walking in.

"Nice to see you too." Mina chuckled.

"Oh you guys are already." You gasped at the two guys sitting on Mina's bed.

"Yeah cause you walk slow." Sero said.

You were going to argue back but you closed your mouth instead, knowing you wouldn't win.

"Why didn't you bring Yaoyorozu with you?" Denki asked.

"She's busy planning her family's new years party tonight. Apparently her family wants her to help out more now that she's older." You explained with a shrug, wanting to be with her.

"Aren't you going to the party too?" Mina asked, sitting down.

"Yeah but later, so why not spend the time with my favourite idiots." You teased them.

"I am not afraid to smack my best friend." Mina teased back.

"Oh no, I'm so scared." You went along with it.

"Fight, fight, fight!" Sero and Denki chanted.

Before Mina could do anything her dorm slammed open.

"God, is it a zoo in here?" Bakugo entered the dorm alongside Kirishima.

"What are they doing here?" You muttered to Mina.

"Denki wanted to invite them as well." Mina muttered back.

"Sup guys." Kirishima greeted.

"Hey!" Denki cheered with a gleeful smile.

"Ugh.." Bakugo groaned.

"Don't be negative Bakugo." Kirishima nudged him.

Bakugo rolled his eyes in response.

"So what did you guys want to do?" Sero asked.

"Leave." Bakugo said.

"Ah ah ah, you agreed to come with me. Stop complaining." Kirishima said.

"I could definitely go for some ice cream right now." Mina added.

"Ooh!" You hummed.

"I know a good ice cream place not too far." Bakugo mumbled.

"Really? That's great!" Sero said.

"Wow he's actually being helpful." Mina whispered and nudged you playfully.

You both snickered as the spiky haired boy glared at both of you.

"I can pay." You announced.

"What, really?! Yes please!" Sero nearly jumped up from the bed.

"Cool, that would be great!" Mina nodded repeatedly.

"Of course she can, she does have a rich girlfriend." Denki teased.

"You're dating someone?" Kirishima said obliviously.

"Yeah Yaoyorozu, you didn't know?" Mina answered.

You sighed and pinched the bridge of your nose.

"Knew it. You guys are pretty obvious." Bakugo said.

"What do you know about relationships?" Sero giggled.

"Stuff.." Bakugo replied dryly while a faint blush tinted his cheeks.

"Okay okay, enough relationship chat. I need ice cream NOW!" Mina said with energy.

"I agree." You nodded.

"Let's go then!" Sero yanked Denki from the bed and darted out the door with Mina.

"Wow, they're like children." Bakugo said and put his hands in his pockets before walking.

"You know what I have to put up with all the time now." You chuckled and picked up the pace to catch up with them.

Once you and your group reached the entrance of UA you all stopped.

"Wait.. Where the fuck are we going again?" Sero said.

"Watch your mouth." You playfully punched his arm.

"Jesus, maybe if you guys didn't rush ahead I could actually show you guys where it is. Follow me extras." Bakugo spat and shuffled to the front of the group.

You rolled your eyes at his usual demeanour. You all began to follow Bakugo down the street, letting him lead you all to the destination.

"So are you excited for tonight?" Mina asked you while you were walking side by side.

You paused for a moment before replying. "Well I know I definitely am excited. But it's pretty nerve racking, you know? Like I'm about to meet her parents, but I know for a fact she hasn't told them about me. Though I guess I have to focus on the positive, I get to spend new years with Yaoyorozu." You cracked a small nervous smile.

"I bet it will all go well. I think you may be thinking too much into it. Just try to enjoy it as much as possible." Mina said supportively.

"Thanks, there's going to be good food, so that always brightens the subject."

"What! Damn, I should've been invited.." She kicked a small pebble on the sidewalk dramatically. "You think you can steal me some food? They're rich so they must have the best chefs." Mina practically drooled at the thought.

You giggled at your friend and her antics. "Maybe next time." You rolled your eyes.

"This is it." Bakugo muttered in front of the store.

"So cool, thanks Bakugo." Kirishima said with his bright smile.

"Yeah.." Bakugo muttered with a small blush.

"Okay, what are we waiting for! Let's go use Y/n's money!" Denki punched the air.

"It's more ponytail's tails money but as long as I'm not paying." Bakugo said.

"Oh my god stop talking, let's go!" Sero ran into the store.

"Does he wanna go!" Bakugo said with furrowed brows and his angry face, his hands sparking.

"Calm down boom boy, we're not in school right now." You said while walking past him, into the store.

Bakugo began to shout at you, but it was incomprehensible, so you just chuckled and walked further into the store.

"Boy does he have a temper." Mina laughed.

"Eh, it's funny and it makes him Bakugo, so I don't mind. He's not physically hurting anyone so what's the harm." You shrugged.

You walked over to the counter where Denki and Sero were already ordering.

"But these two.. are the most impatient people ever." You shook your head. Mina giggled.

After everybody ordered and received their ice cream you had to pay.

"Is this all together?" The worker asked.

"Yeah." You sighed.

"Alright, that'll be 2,810¥." They said,

You handed over the cash.

'Not that bad of a price..'

"Thank you Y/n!" Kirishima, Denki, Sero and Mina all said in sync.

"Thanks I guess.." Bakugo mumbled grumpily.

A smile tugged at your lips.

"Didn't know you had it in you." Sero said to Bakugo.

Bakugo nearly exploded. You and the other had to push Bakugo out of the store before you all got permanently banned. Before you could finish your food your phone began to ring.

"Hold this." You said and gave your food to Mina.

"Sure?" She arched her brow as she watched you walk away from the group.

You looked at your phone to see Yaoyorozu's number. You picked up instantly.

"Hi?" You said with a bit of concern.

"Hey dear.. uhm, can I talk to you? I need to take my mind off things.."
