Chapter 30
While laying around in your dorm you received a text from Yaoyorozu.
Yaoyorozu♥︎: Come to my dorm, we need to talk.
Y/n: Okay.. Little detail and a little stress triggering. but fine?
Yaoyorozu♥︎: I just need to talk? Sorry to scare you, nothing bad my dear.
Y/n: Okay thank the gods..
You sighed in relief and got up, heading for Yaoyorozu's dorm. Once you arrived you knocked. The door opened almost immediately.
"So what's the bad news?"
"What? Heavens no, nothing bad. Come inside first." She pulled you inside.
"Okay.. But usually when someone says "We need to talk" It's usually nothing good. You had me worried." You explained.
"Oh, apologies, what did you think I meant?" She sat down on her bed.
"Well.. iprettymuchpanickedsoidontknowijusygotscaredmaybeshewasgoingtoleavemeorbreakupwithmeorsomeonediedandidontknowwhatiwouldvedonewithmyself.." You said all in one breath, barely even comprehensible.
"Woah, slow down sweetness. Everything is fine, I just wanted to ask you something." She put her hands on your shoulders.
"Oh.." You said in relief. "Why don't you just ask over text?" You furrowed your brows in confusion.
"I also wanted to see you, just so I could do this." She said and kissed you long and hard.
You were a bit taken back but fully accepted it, melting into a sweet bliss.
"Fair enough." You said once you caught your breath.
"So what I've been wanting to ask. You know how the new year is nearing?" She asked.
"Mhm." You said and tilted your head in curiosity.
"Well my family hosts a famous new years ball and party. It's a family tradition, it's quite the event." She explained.
"Ooo~ That sounds cool." You said with interest.
"My family wanted me to bring someone so, Y/n, would you like to be my date to the famous Yaoyorozu new years party?" She said eagerly, a burning passion clear in her eyes.
"Really? You think I would be welcomed there.. It seems pretty posh." An embarrassed blush tinted your cheeks.
"Oh honey, that doesn't matter! And of course you'll fit in. Don't be dunce." She shook her head.
"Well, then.. Of course I'll come!" You nodded your head in agreement.
"Oh thank goodness, they're usually lonely without someone. My parents always try to set me up with some guy from another family at those things.. But this time I won't have to go through that." She smiled.
"It does sound fun, it will totally be a new experience for me."
"Oh it's magnificent!"
"Will there be good food?"
"Why of course, we do have some of the best personal professional chefs." She said with pride.
"Woah.. Now I can't wait." You felt your mouth water at the thought.
"All the fun of being rich, sweetheart, I can't wait for you to join me." She said with a delightful smile.
"I would never say no, even if there wasn't good food." You giggled.
"Gosh, now there's just a bunch of planning to do, my parents said I'm apparently an important part of the party now." She rolled her eyes accompanied with a sigh.
"Of course you're important!"
"I wish my parents would see it like that.." She muttered.
You took her face into your hands, looking her directly in the eyes.
"Don't be so harsh on yourself just because they're terrible. They're clearly blind if they can't see how important you are." You said sternly but lovingly.
Yaoyorozu gave you a small genuine smile.
"What did I do to deserve you." She pulled you in for a small but passionate kiss.
A genuine smile spread on your face once you pulled away.
"One more thing dear, I got you something." She said while walking over to her vanity, searching for something.
"Oh Yaomomo, you didn't have to.." You said feeling loved but also a little bad for not getting her anything.
"Of course I did! Here." She said and placed a small velvet box in your hands.
"What's this?" You looked at the box then at Yaoyorozu with curiosity.
"Open it and see." She chuckled.
With our hesitation you opened the small box, a silver necklace with your favourite crystal carved into a rose on it, laid neatly on the velvet holder.
"Oh Momo.." You gasped in awe, taking the necklace into your hands.
"Here let me help you." She said and took the necklace while standing behind you. She moved your hair out of the way and put the necklace around your neck.
"There you go." She cooed while placing a soft kiss on your neck then softly pushing you over to her vanity mirror, so you could see yourself and the necklace in all its glory.
"It's perfect." Your eyes practically sparkled while you brushed over the necklace with your fingers.
"Perfect, for my perfect girlfriend." She smiled behind you, looking at you in the vanity mirror.
You frowned slightly. "I didn't get you anything.." You mumbled.
"Dear, I don't need anything, all I need is you. That gift is special enough on its own." She kissed your cheek from behind.
You blushed and turned around to face her, taking her hands softly in yours and leaning to kiss her. The kiss was filled with emotions, happy and grateful ones of course.
"Never have I ever felt more appreciated by someone before. You amaze me everyday Yaomomo." You spoke truthfully while gazing into her dark yet gorgeous eyes.
"You deserve every ounce of appreciation you receive. If I could, I would give you the world." She brushed over your hand with her thumb.
"You probably have enough money to do so." You teased.
Yaoyorozu giggled at your remark.
"Okay enough with the cheesy romance for now, I'd like for my smart girlfriend to help me with today's homework." She pulled you over to her desk, letting you sit beside her.
"Lucky for you I finished it in class today." You said with pride.
"I figured, so, as my girlfriend it's law you have to help me."
"Is this the girlfriend law?" You chuckled.
"Yes. Now, how do you solve this?" She pointed at a complex equation with her pen.
"Fine, listen carefully because I'm not repeating this five times."
"Yes ma'am."
