Lavender was beautiful but no one would tell her.

Her carmel was smooth as silk, dark hair curled in tight ringlets. Chocolate brown eyes that shines and plump lips - that Lavender would always pick when she was nervous.

She was oblivious to the words spoken out of her view, she hadn't know how people admired her from afar or how some flirted with her.

She could never understand how people liked her insecurities. She was practically a stick in her eyes.

But the man who sat beside her silently disagreed. As Lavender turned to him she took in his appearance.

Sandy blonde hair and eyes as blue as the ocean. He had a small scar under his left eyes and his beard semmed to be freshly shave - Lavender knew because she could smell it a seat away.

She was beautiful to him, she looked absolutely devine. Delicious even.

She noticed his stared and slightly tensed, her nails tapping a rhyme on the crystal glass.

Her nails were a adoring white color that only added to her innocence. Her hair fell down her ba k in its natural curls, a small butterfly clip holding two stands out of her face.

Her body was covered in a white backless dress. The smooth material covered her arms and chest, somehow hiding yet displaying herself to everyone.

However, the man wasn't focused on that. He hadn't picked her because of her beauty or smile.

The man chose her because the primal instinct inside of him wanted to rip her dress open and drain her dry.

Her wanted the bright fabric to stain red. He wanted to rip the fabric apart and sink his teeth into her, never letting her leave.

With soft skin and quick breathing he approached.

Her smell.

It was of roses and vanilla, with a hint of cinnamon. He hadn't a clue as to how she smelt so amazing but it made his mouth water.

She hesitantly looked up, surprised to see such bright blue eyes. She slowly smiled at him, giving him a seductive wave.

He grinned back and flagged down a bartender while Lavender moved in her seat.

He watched as the dress slipped up when she crossed her legs, only to be pulled down by her nimble hands.

As he smiled and waved down a bartender she crossed one leg over the other. The smooth skin made his mouth water.

"Scotch on the rocks and a cosmopolitan for the lady." He smiled as she raised an eyebrow.

The bartender, a young man who didn't look old enough to get into the bar in the first place, nodded and picked up a high priced glass.

"Interesting choice." The woman spoke up for the first time.

The man shrugged with a smirk, "Don't girls like sweet drinks."

His words seemed to irritate her, getting under her skin in only a few seconds. "Don't men have respect? Oh wait..."

His jaw clicked as he realized what she was implying. He turned to her with a lipped smile before extending his hand, "Levi."

She didn't seem impressed and remained stoic. "Like the store?"

Levi gritted his teeth and smiled wider, "Yes like the store.... And this is where you tell me your name."

"Oh, I know." She hummed as the suited bartender sat her drink down with a square coaster underneath.

She grabbed the glass, her pointed red nails making a clicking sound. "I'm just not impressed. Or telling you."

Levi only seemed to enjoy her resistance, smirking at her fire. "Well gorgeous, I do like a challenge.

Iris was fucked.

She only wanted to find a good fuck at a nice club, one without the drunkards and bow wonders who probably snuck in with a fake credit card but somehow this was worse.

She couldn't help but groan as she sat up, her head throbbing and body aching.

And it wasn't in a good way.

Quiet curses slipped from her lips as she touched her head. She pulled back with red coating her fingers, and this time it wasn't from her nails.

Iris was unable to lift her body from the ground, her legs shaking too much to physically do anything.

She only had a few drinks, how the hell did this happen?

"You're awake." A voice called through the darkness.

Iris jumped and turned around, completely regretting it as the room spun. A chuckle echoed in the room and she swayed

"She's not so smart for a pretty little thing."

Iris resisted a whimper at the new voice, both figures hiding in the shadows.

"You're not so brave for someone who's hiding in the dark." She replied. It probably wasn't a wise decision but god damn was she a brat.

Her dad was right, it'd be the death of her. Literally.

With a hiss, something pounced out and landed in front of her. Her deep eyes stared at the boy, a strand of his dark brown hair fell into her face and covered his chocolate colored eyes.

The bartender.

"Oh, fuck."

The familiar voice spoke again, this time beside her. "Fuck indeed, Iris."

She gulped as she stared at the man. Did she regret insulting his name? Hell no, who in their right mind names a kid Levi?

But did she regret saying it to his face? Also no, you only live once. Although it seemed hers was going to be cut short.

Levi grinned, unable to contain his giddiness. That's when she was able to take note of his teeth.

Two sharp rows of piranha shaped teeth shone in the small light the room contained. And long nails, rugged and torn.

A gasp slipped from her lips as the bartender kneeled beside her. His lip brushed her ear as he whispered to her.

"Don't worry, we'll take great care of you. But the other guys? Well, let's just hope those British Bitches stop hunting us or..." His finger traced her collarbone, pressing his fingers into the plush skin on her neck.

He chuckled and withheld a moan at the quick beating pace. He didn't finish his sentence, only taking a deep breath of her hair.

"W-what are you?" She asked, thankful that her medium brown skin hid the blushful shade. She stuttered in terror and it was embarrassing as fuck.

Levi grinned, his teeth retreating to his gums in a second. Iris flinched at the quick action. He only grinned more.

"Well, darling. The cats out of the bag." He chuckled and squared down. "We're vampires."

Iris stared in shock as the unnamed bartender laughed, which soon turned into a giggle. She kept her gaze on the taller of the two.

"Holey shit-"
