"You often mention the word property? Was that something that you thought of yourself?" The woman asked crossing her legs. "Well yeah. I was always property, at the orphanage, in the entertainment, Daehyun." You said, voice dragging out the last word.

"What about now? Do you feel like property now?" She asked, leaning forward, the scent of her perfume becoming stronger. "No, I feel free, I feel like I could do anything now." You said, smiling slightly.

"Did you ever think yourself as property?" Kyung Mi asked, clicking her pen. "For a while yeah, the company controlled me, managers, staff, most people did." You said, shrugging.

"Is this what caused your personality change?" She asked, leaning back on her chair, clicking her pen twice. "I guess, I didn't want to be weak anymore, no one treated me like a fragile girl anymore. Jungkook really helped me with that."

"How so?" Kyung Mi questioned.
"He always depended on me and the others. I had to help him come out of his shell, and that made me feel like a big sister for once. He even called me noona." You giggled a bit at the end, thinking of young Jungkook.

"Has anything happened since then that made me feel empowered?"

"Well, there was that one time I rejected a major contract..."

Bighit has never had such tension lingering in the halls. Staff were told to work as usual but they couldn't, not with what was happening. Most kept waking past the main meeting room to get a glimpse of what was happening.

You sat at one end of the large table, opposite you was Bang-Pd. Yuna, your manager, was sat by your side, yet you didn't interact. Other executives sat around you, but there were seven empty seats.

You read the contract given to you.

"You want fifteen percent of my profits? No. Five perfect, no more." You broke the silence, a woman in the room jotting down what you said. "You're signed under us, we can take fifteen." Someone said. "Baby B is one of the highest grossing brands in Asia, and even overseas. Five percent will give you tens to hundreds of thousands, with that added up to what you take of her pay anyway is plenty." Your lawyer butted in.

"It says here you'll be taking more pay off of me then the boys and will be giving me less from my solo." You snapped angrily. "Calm down, Miss. The company will be giving her an equal share, or this will go to court."

"Pay is to be discussed when the rest of the band arrives." A staff member said. "Now if you'll please sign Baby."

"No, I reject this contract. I'll speak once the boys arrive." You said, slamming down your pen, slamming the contract shut. "You'll have to announce this to the press Baby." Yuna said, standing up alongside you.

"Let's then."

"Seems like you got what you wanted." Kyung Mi smiled towards you.

"That I did."
