"So recently, there has been some rumors about (y/n) going around." Dave started, "People have claimed that she's been hooking up with a lot of the guys she hangs around."

"Really?" Josh questioned. "Like who?"

"Vinnie, Troy, Michael, and some others." Dave answered. "I mean who knows? She does hang around Vinnie a lot." Dave laughed.

Josh let out a small chuckle. "Yeah."

"And I only met her once, but she does seem to be really flirty." Dave said.

"I think she's just being nice." Josh shrugged. He felt weird talking about his close friend like that, but he wasn't sure what he should say.

"I don't know, man." Dave shook his head laughing.

"I can't believe him." (y/n) scoffed at the instagram post showing the clip of Dave and Josh on the podcast where Dave insulted her. She was pissed off for multiple reasons. The first being Dave talking about her like that. They weren't close, and (y/n) wouldn't even consider them friends, but she never expected him to speak so low of her. Then Josh didn't stand up for her or even disagree with him. That's what hurt her the worst. She thought her and Josh were closer than that. She may have even had some feelings for him, but after hearing that she didn't know anymore.

"I'm sure he wanted to say something. He was probably just uncomfortable." Sab said trying to comfort her.

"I thought he was my friend." (y/n) sighed.

"He is. He's like your best friend." Sab said.

"Then he should've stood up for me." (y/n) said with a frown. Sab sighed and walked over wrapping her in a hug.

"Maybe you should talk to him." Sab suggested. "It might help."

"I don't wanna talk to him." (y/n) scoffed, shaking her head.

It had been about week since (y/n) had stopped talking to Josh. After the podcast had aired it was all everyone could talk about for days. It eventually died down and people stopped spamming her comments and messages, but (y/n) wasn't over it. She didn't know how to get over the hurt that Josh and Dave had caused her.

"(y/n)?" Sab asked knocking on her door before entering.

"What's up?" (y/n) replied looking up from her phone.

"Josh is here." Sab said. (y/n)'s face dropped.

"Tell him to leave." (y/n) said.

"(y/n), I know you're mad at him, but I really think you should talk to him." Sab tried to reason with her. "I don't like seeing you like this, and Josh actually looks really sad too. Please let him come up here and talk."

(y/n) was quiet for moment before she let out a sigh, "Fine."

Sab smiled and walked out. A few moments later, Josh walked in and shut the door.

"Hey." He gave her a small smile which she returned. "Look, I just want you to listen to me. You don't have to say anything. I'll just say what I need to then leave."

"Okay." (y/n) mumbled nodding her head.

"Okay, I know why you're mad, and you have every right to be. I should've stopped Dave when he was saying all that stuff. I wanted to, but I just didn't know how. You're my best friend, and I never wanted to hurt you. I know you don't sleep around with all your friends. I'm sorry that this started a bunch of shit online. I'll tell everyone that what Dave said isn't true. I'll do whatever you want because I love you and I want you happy." Josh said. He finished taking a deep breath scared of what she had to say to those three words he kinda regretted just blurting out.

"You love me?" (y/n) questioned.

"Yes." He nodded his head. "I love you."

Silence filled the room. (y/n) didn't know what to say. She did like Josh more than a friend. She knew he would never mean to hurt her, but after his little speech she was too shocked to know how to respond.

"Okay, that's it. I'm gonna go now." Josh said nervously before turning to leave.

"I love you too." (y/n) finally spoke up. Josh turned back around. "I love you too." She repeated smiling. Josh grinned and rushed to her smashing their lips together. (y/n) smiled into the kiss pulling him closer.

I didn't know how to end that....
