"Are you sure? I can come see you," Cami says into her phone worriedly.

"No, I'm okay. A bit shaken up," Kevin tells Cami who sits on her bed worriedly. Last night after coming back from Pop's and then going asleep Cami woke up to a frantic call from Kevin regarding Moose and Midge getting shot.

Kevin heard the gunshots and saw bloody Midge along with the shot Moose in Moose's car. 

"Ooh, Kevy you know what I'll come see you-," Cami begins to say before she was interrupted.

"Camilla I'm fine. I promise," Kevin tells her as Cami nods crossing her legs.

"Are you sure?" Cami questions the boy worriedly.
"Yes!" Kevin exclaims as Cami nods.

"Alright since you are okay maybe you can explain why you were in the woods so late anyway," Cami states shrugging her shoulders.

"Uhm you know what I think I might just avoid that," Kevin tells Cami who scoffs at him.

"Nada! Nope! Kevin, I don't care what the hell sexual fantasies you have what I care about is your safety. If you want to have sex against a tree go for it. Seems sort of hot," Cami tells him as Kevin rubs the bridge of his nose between embarrassment and trying not to laugh.

"But you're my best friend Kev. I don't want to lose you so I beg you to be careful," Cami tells Kevin softly but in a stern voice.

"If you get hurt then I'll tell your Dad all your secrets. Don't try me I know everything about you. Everything," Cami threatens him as Kevin just pauses.

"You terrify me," Kevin tells Cami who laughs at him.
"Good! Now be a good little boy. I love you call me if you need anything," Cami tells Kevin who shakes his head.

"Love you more and I will," Kevin tells her hanging up as Cami stands up and walks out of her room and downstairs to see her Mom putting food on the table.

"Morning honey," Alice greets Cami who sits down at the table smiling slightly.

"Morning Mom," Cami tells her as she grabs some food and places it on her plate before eyeing her Mom who was fully dressed for the day.

"Heading back to the register today?" Cami questions her making Alice look at her.

"Yes but if you need anything just call," Alice tells Cami who nods her head.

"Will do don't worry Mom I'm almost cleared to go back to school," Cami tells Alice who looks at her nodding.

"Perhaps," Alice says kissing the top of her head.
"Love you," Alice tells her grabbing her coat and coffee before leaving the house. Cami sat still in her seat as she held her coffee mug taking a sip.

"Wait what?" Cami questions confused looking towards the front door just as Betty comes down the stairs.

"Morning," Betty greets Cami sitting down beside her.
"Morning," Cami says before looking at Betty and seeing her look on her face.

"What's with the face? You look weird," Cami says as Betty stares at her Cami leans across the table and uses her fingers to turn her frown into a smile.

"There we go. Much better!" Cami cheers smiling brightly as Betty laughs at her.

"Jughead's starting Southside high officially today," Betty tells Cami who nods at her.

"I'm sure everything will be fine Betts," Cami tells Betty who nods her head.

"I'm just going to miss him," Betty says as Cami stares at her placing her hand on hers.

"Sometimes they say space makes the heart fonder or something like that," Cami tells Betty shrugging before she begins to eat her food.

"Absence Cami. Absence makes the heart grow fonder," Betty corrects her making Cami wave her off.

"I was close enough," Cami tells her making Betty laugh at her as she begins to eat her own breakfast.

"You want me to meet your Dad?" Cami questions slowly as she stands in her kitchen putting different foods in tupperware.

"You know I think our relationship is going a little too fast Vee. I need to slow down," Cami jokes as Veronica rolls her eyes.

"Ha ha very funny. The Matchlerette starts tonight. You're coming over to watch," Veronica tells Cami who shakes her head.

"You want me to meet the man I've been threatening to kick his ass? I think I might hold off for a little while. You know what I'll introduce myself to him on his deathbed! I like that idea better!" Cami tells Veronica nodding excitedly.

"Cee! Come on! Back in New York, my dad was always in his study, doing bad things, as it turns out," Veronica says making Cami nod her head sort of wishing he was still in prison.

"I'm tired of closed doors. I need to know my dad's life and he needs to know mine. So, please! I'll make sure to have you a strawberry milkshake and some Oreos," Veronica tells Cami who pauses at that tilting her head slightly.

"Only to watch the boy's reaction to The Matchlerette and the milkshake," Cami tells Veronica who smiles brightly at that.

"Yes! Oh, I love you, Camilla Cooper!" Veronica tells the blonde who smirks at that.

"Of course you do. I'm amazing," Cami tells Veronica who laughs at that.

"Bye Vee," Cami says pulling the phone back and hanging up as she finishes putting all the different foods filled in Tupperware into a bag before heading upstairs to grab an item.

The blonde was already dressed in a white jean skirt along with a cropped top with her hair curls but there was one more thing she needed before leaving her house.

Opening her closet door Cami moved a few items before finding what she needed. With a smile, the blonde bent down and grabbed it before slipping on the item and looking towards the mirror in her room.

The Serpent jacket was a bit bigger on her and it had a familiar scent attached but she couldn't place where she knew it from.

Sliding on a pair of black heeled boots before grabbing her keys and purse Cami heads back downstairs grabbing the two bags of food and her phone before heading out of her house making sure to lock the door.

At Southside High in the cafeteria, Jughead sat at a table by himself reading a book but keeping an eye on everything around him when someone walks up to him.

"Ooh! There you are! Worried I was going to miss you a voice says behind him making Jughead confused before turning around to spot Cami walking towards him.

"Cami what are you doing here?" Jughead questions confused and wide-eyed before eyeing Cami closer noticing the serpent jacket she has on.

"And where did you get that jacket?" Jughead questions her as Cami looks around where he is sitting confused.

"Why are you sitting by yourself Forsythe Pendleton Jone the III?" Cami questions the boy who stares at her.

"Ooh, there's the serpents!" Cami says smiling brightly as she grabs Jughead's arm pulling him towards the serpents Jughead just stares confused.

"Toni!" Cami exclaims smiling brightly making Toni, Sweet Pea, and Fangs turn to the blonde wide-eyed. 

"Cami!" Toni, Sweet Pea, and Fangs say seeing the blonde who smiles brightly heading towards Toni first as she hugs her.

"Ooh I've missed you guys," Cami says realizing Toni and then hugging Sweet Pea and Fangs who stare at her wide-eyed.

"What are you doing here?" Sweet Pea questions Cami who smiles removing the two bags from her shoulders.

"Well, I knew today was Jug's first day here I wanted to check up on him. And I haven't seen you guys in a while wanted to check up on you all as well," Cami exclaims as Toni smiles at her, Fangs staring at the bags closely, Sweet Pea watching the blonde carefully, and Jughead just standing there confused.

"What's in the bags?" Fangs questions the girl who smiles at him brightly.

"Well, I'm basically on house arrest with nothing to do. Already ahead in my classes, everyone's busy, so I decided to bring you all some home-cooked food. Along with dessert," Cami explains as Fangs stare at her as if she was the most perfect person in the world.

"I love you," Fangs tells her kissing her cheek before grabbing the bags and removing the Tupperware and then the lid to smell the food.

"Careful Fangs! She's still sore from being shot," Sweet Pea tells the boy with a glare as he slaps him across the head.

"How are you doing?" Toni questions Cami worriedly who smiles at her.

"I'm fine. I will forever have a badass scar though," Cami tells her as Toni shakes her head at her.

"You don't need a scar for anyone to know that," Sweet Pea tells her kissing the top of Cami's head before grabbing some food as Cami shakes her head.

"Alright, I have to use the ladies," Cami states making Toni turn to her.

"I'll take you," Toni tells Cami who nods as Cami smiles looking at Jughead who is just standing there.

"Eat," Cami tells Jughead patting his shoulder who just stares at her well more like the serpent jacket as Cami interlocks her arm with Toni and walks out of the cafeteria.

"It's FP's jacket," Sweet Pea tells Jughead who snaps his head towards Sweet Pea at that.

"What?" Jughead questions him making Sweet Pea look at him.

"The serpent jacket. It's FP's jacket. He told Toni to give it to Cami," Sweet Pea tells Jughead who looks back towards where Cami was confused.

"Did you not know? Serpents take care of their own. You think we just helped you look for who shot her for no reason," Sweet Pea tells Jughead who just stares confused before walking out of the cafeteria.

"I don't think he knew that," Fangs tells Sweet Pea who just stares at the boy who was stuffing his face.

"I'm going to marry that girl," Fangs tells Sweet Pea eating more food as Sweet Pea rolls his eyes.

"Shut up," Sweet Pea tells him as he begins eating his own food.

"Well if we weren't close before we sure are now," Cami jokes as she stands at the sink washing her hands as Toni laughs at her.

"Southside High bathroom stalls don't have doors," Toni tells Cami who chuckles at her shaking her head. Toni stares at her noticing the bandage on her shoulder.

"How are you?" Toni questions Cami who looks at her.
"I'm okay. I'm sorry about Mustang and FP," Cami tells Toni who nods at her.

"Me too. Joaquin told Fangs about you finding him," Toni says as Cami nods slightly.

"And then saw the video of Jason Blossoms dead. Let's not forget you then got shot afterward. A lot to go through in a short time," Toni tells Cami who turns to her.

"Just the life of Camilla Cooper," Cami tells her shrugging.

"Right," Toni states nodding her head as the two begin leaving the restroom.

Once the two step out Cami notices Jughead waiting making her look toward Toni who sighs. Somehow she knew this was either Fangs or Sweet Pea's fault. Probably Sweet Pea.

"I'll be back in there in a moment. Make sure Fangs and Sweet Pea don't eat all the food," Cami tells Toni who nods her head walking away as Cami looks towards Jughead.

"Did I overstep? I do that sometimes especially when I'm worried. I'm sorry! I shouldn't have just shown up here and not let you know. And-," Cami begins to ramble to Jughead who shakes his head.

"No, it's not that. Just...what's happening between you and my Dad? And the serpents?" Jughead questions Cami who looks at him surprised.

"Me and your Dad?" Cami questions slowly as Jughead nods his head.

"Nothing! The night I found out about Archie and Ms.Grundy I got drunk at the Whyte Wyrm. Your Dad made sure I was okay and safe along with the serpents. I thanked them in desserts and that's about it," Cami explains to Jughead shrugging as he looks at her.

"Okay," Jughead says nodding his head as Cami smiles at him.

"Okay? Okay! Now let's go get some food you need some. Are you eating enough? When was the last time you had some food besides a burger from Pop's?" Cami questions Jughead as she grabs his arm worriedly.

Jughead laughs at Cami shaking his head as she looks at him.

"And no more sitting alone! This isn't Riverdale High someone might hurt you and then I will have to go psycho blonde on people. I might not seem it but I am a little bit crazy at times," Cami explains to Jughead who looks at her.

"Really? I would never have guessed it's not like you started an entire resolution of girls against Archie," Jughead tells Cami who slaps his arm with a glare.

"He called me a slut. I am many things a slut isn't one of them," Cami tells Jughead pouting a finger at him as Jughead nods.

"Of course, Cam," Jughead tells her as they enter the cafeteria again

"Now let's talk about how amazing this night is going to be at the Lodge's," Cami says her voice full of sarcasm as Jughead laughs at her words.

"I already hate the man I feel like tonight my decision on him is just going to be finalized," Cami explains to Jughead who nods her words as Cami leads Jughead over to the serpents and sits down.

That night at Veronica's Cami sits beside Veronica with Betty beside her and Jughead beside Betty and Archie in an armchair.

"Archie?" Veronica calls seeing the boy in his own mind making Cami look away from her phone.

"I'm sorry. This thing with Moose... It's like nobody cares. Dad keeps saying, "Leave it to Sheriff Keller." I'm like, "Yeah, he did a great job of catching Jason's murderer." Oh. Wait, I'm sorry, that was us," Archie states as Cami shrugs he wasn't wrong.

"Inside voices, please," Veronica tells Archie when his voice raises slightly making Cami chuckle.

"No, don't stop him. Archie going Travis Bickle is my favorite Archie yet," Jughead says smirking as he eats popcorn.

"Doesn't it feel like he's targeting us? I mean, specifically? I don't want anyone else getting hurt," Archie tells the four making Cami shrug. She had already been shot.

"You know back in our salad days when we had a getaway on the Cape, all of us got together and hired private security to keep out the riffraff as an added layer of protection," Veronica says making Cami look towards her.

"I loved that house," an unfamiliar voice states making Cami look to see Hermione with who just believes to be Hiram.

"Daddy," Veronica says confirming Cami's and everyone else's suspicions as everyone stands up.

"We're on our way to dinner at the club," Hermione tells Veronica.

"I wanted to meet your friends first," Hiram says as Cami looks the man over. She didn't like him. She just had a feeling and so far she's been right.

"Great. Thank you," Veronica tells him with a smile before looking towards Betty.

"This is Betty Cooper," Veronica introduces Betty who smiles at the man.  

"Hi. Nice to meet you," Betty tells Hiram shaking his hand.

"And Jughead Jones," Veronica introduced next.  
"Hi," Jughead says shaking Hiram's hand.

"Hey," Hiram tells Jughead as Cami looks between the two.

"You know my dad," Jughead says pulling his hand back after shaking Hiram's.

"I do. He's a good man. He values family. I hope his return comes sooner rather than later," Hiram tells Jughead as Cami eyes the man.

"Yeah, so do we," Jughead tells Hiram as Veronica grabs Cami's hand.

"And Daddy, this is Cami Cooper," Veronica introduces as Cami smiles at the man slightly shaking his hand.

"Hello Mr.Lodge," Cami greets him as Hiram shakes her hand.

"Hiram, please. I heard about your accident. I'm glad to know you are doing better," Hiram tells Cami who nods slightly still keeping eye contact with the man as they shake hands.

"Yes it was has been an interesting few weeks," Cami states as she looks at the man. She wasn't going to break eye contact first. It was a show of weakness.

"Ooh and Daddy, this is Archie Andrews," Veronica says cutting the tense moment as Hiram pulls his hand back and looks at Archie.

Cami standing beside Jughead and Betty who stare at her slightly but Cami smiles at him. 

"Uh, it's nice to meet you, sir," Archie tells him with his hand out as Hiram looks up over slightly. 

"Ah, please. Call me Hiram," Hiram tells Archie shaking his head.

"I couldn't help but overhear your discussion and I, um...I understand your frustration. As for someone who's had his own share of run-ins with the law...," Hiram tells Archie before a dry chuckle escapes him. 

"I can say that the police aren't always the solution. Sometimes we need to take matters into our own hands. We need to protect ourselves," Hiram tells Archie as Cami stares at the man with her eyebrows together slightly. 

"We're gonna lose our table," Hermione tells Hiram making Cami look towards the woman. 

"Oh, yes, of course Hey, it was nice to meet all of you," Hiram says as he and Hermione go to leave.  

"Oh, and Archie," Hiram calls out to the boy before leaving.

"Yes," Archie responds turning to the older man.

"Why don't you come over for dinner? I look forward to seeing what you come up with... to save Riverdale," Hiram says making Archie chuckle slightly as Cami stares at the older man closely.

She didn't trust him.

Hiram nods his head and goes to leave looking at Cami once more who was eyeing him closely. Analyzing him.

Before Hermione pulls Hiram out of the penthouse Jughead pulls Cami's arm slightly.

"If looks could kill he would be dead," Jughead tells Cami who rolls her eyes at Jughead before sitting down.

"Let's begin," Cami says smiling at Veronica who smiles back at her brightly.

The next day Cami arrives back home from her latest doctor appointment just as Betty comes home from school. 

"How did everything go?" Betty questions Cami who looks at her.  

"She cleared me to go back to school next week. Only school though. No cheerleading," Cami says huffing slightly making Betty smile at her as they begin walking into their house.

"That's still good," Betty tells Cami who nods before looking towards the dining room to see her Mom sitting down and her Dad standing in front of her.

"Hey," Betty and Cami greet the two.
"Hey," Hal says sighing slightly before looking at Cami.

"Everything go okay?" Hal questions Cami who nods at him before noticing something wrong.  

"What's wrong?" Cami questions the two worriedly.
"Your mother got some fan mail," Hal tells the two making Cami look at the two.

"He calls himself the Black Hood and he wants us to publish this letter," Alice says as she hands Betty the letter while Cami reads it over her shoulder.

"He wants everyone to know that he shot Fred Andrews Cami and Moose and Midge...and murdered Geraldine Grundy," Alice explains looking at Cami closely who was staring at the letter.

"Are you sure that this is real?" Betty questions her parents.

"Oh, it's real, all right," Alice tells Betty as she lifts another envelope letting items drop out of them. A pair of red sunglasses and a familiar wallet. A wallet she got for Fred for his birthday last year.

Cami takes the letter from Betty as she begins reading it over.

This is the Black Hood. I am the man who shot the adulterer and the betrayer at Pop's. I killed the child predator in Greendale. I shot the drug- and sex-addicted teenagers at Lovers' Lane. Riverdale is not innocent.  It's a town of hypocrites, degenerates, and criminals. My wrath is the price of your lies, your secrets, your sins. I will not stop. I cannot be stopped. I am the wolf. You are the flock. This is the blood-letting. You will hear from me again.

"How am I a betrayer?" Cami questions confused as Alice takes the letter from Cami.

"He's a madman," Alice tells Cami who nods at that.
"Yeah Mom I figured that out when he shot me," Cami says before turning around and heading towards the stairs.

"Cami," Hal calls out after her but Cami just continues as Betty looks at her parents.

"We're taking this to Sheriff Keller," Alice tells Betty who nods heading after Cami worriedly.

"You're not a betrayer. The opposite of that," Betty tells Cami who smiles at her slightly.

"Thanks, Betts," Cami tells her making Betty nod before she walks towards her room. Cami looks towards her closet slightly knowing what was in there.

"I'm going. I'm leaving Riverdale," Polly exclaims making Cami walk down the stairs the next day seeing Polly upset standing in front of their parents. 

"Polly slow down you'll give the babies whiplash," Betty says trying to calm the oldest Cooper down as Alice and Hal question the girl.

"I've called the farm. They still have room," Polly tells them as Cami tilts her head. Farm? It sounds like a cult.

"Farm? What farm?" Alice questions her confused as Hal stands up.

"The farm Jason and I were running to before my life fell apart," Polly tells her Mom who just stares at her.

"Honey, let's just talk about this," Hal tells Polly trying to calm her down.

"Why are you leaving?" Hal questions Polly. 

"Ask Mom. She's the one baiting a killer. A killer targeting sinners," Polly says making Cami sigh knowing her Mom published the letter in the register this morning.

"Polly, you're not a sinner," Betty tells her sister.
"I'm an unwed mother carrying my cousin's babies. I am the poster child for sin," Polly tells Betty pointing towards her pregnant belly.

"That's it. Over my dead body are you gonna run off to some farm and give birth in a trough, no doubt," Alice tells Polly standing up.

"It might be over your dead body, Mother, but it won't be over mine or my babies'. Cami was already shot I'm not going to be next," Polly says making Cami stare at her

"Polly!" Alice says as Polly storms off. 
"I'll talk to her," Hal tells Alice before walking off and Cami sighs shaking her head.

"Well this is great," Cami says sighing before she walks towards her Mom sitting down beside her.

"Are you okay?" Alice questions Cami who looks at her.

"I'm fine. Wished the man who shot me went by something besides the Black Hood though. It's lame," Cami tells Alice who glares at her shaking her head as Cami laughs.

"Love you, Mom," Cami tells her kissing her cheek before getting up as Alice shakes her head.

"Love you too," Alice tells her before looking at her daughter and then at the newspaper. She kept trying to figure out how Cami was a betrayer. A betrayer to who exactly?

Cami was turning in the last bit of work when Betty entered her room.

"Jughead just called me. He's hurt he fell off his bike," Betty tells Cami who looks at her.

"Let's go," Cami tells Betty who nods as Cami grabs the first aid kit before leaving with Betty heading towards the trailer park where Jughead was staying.

Getting there Betty begins fixing the boy up as Cami stands beside Toni staring at the boy closely.

"Can't you just take a day off?" Betty questions Jughead worriedly

"It's not that bad. Just some cuts and bruises," Jughead says making Cami scoff.

"You're staying home today Jug. Do not try to argue with me," Cami tells him giving him a pointed look as Betty smiles at the boy.

"I told you that motorcycle was risky, Jug. You promised you were always gonna wear a helmet," Betty tells Jughead as Cami watches the look Toni sends him and how Jughead tenses slightly making her glare.

"It was just around the block. Don't blame me, all right? Blame the pothole," Jughead tells Betty as Cami looks at Toni asking a question with her eyes making Toni nod.

"I thought you were gonna say that you got jumped by those Creepies--," Betty begins to say towards Jughead before she is cut off.

"Ghoulies," Cami and Toni tell her making Betty look at them.

"But, no, the Serpents won't allow that. They got Jughead's back. Even though he's not a member. It's just family loyalty," Toni says more towards Jughead who was staring at her.

"Great, well... I've gotta go to school, try and fix this mess with Kevin," Betty says making Cami confused.

"What happened with Kevin?" Cami questions Betty who sighs at her.

"I messed up," Betty tells Cami who nods at her slightly with a sad smile.

"Cami Toni, will you keep an eye on him?" Betty questions the two girls.

"All over it," Toni tells her as Cami nods. Betty smiles before she leaves the trailer and Cami looks at Jughead her arms crossed.

"Don't tell Betty. She doesn't need to know," Jughead tells them making Cami scoff. 

"We warned you about the Ghoulies. You'll take them more seriously now," Toni tells Jughead who had a faraway look in his eyes.

"Yeah. I will now," Jughead tells her as Cami comes to sit beside him.

"You're an idiot," Cami tells Jughead who sighs at her.
"But I'm glad you're okay," Cami tells Jughead with a small smile.

"And if you get jumped again by those idiots I'm going to be sticking my heels up their asses," Cami tells Jughead patting his cheek slightly and making him wince as Toni laughs shaking her.

"Now this place needs a deep clean and you need some food," Cami tells Jughead pulling her hair into a ponytail.

"Uhm aren't you supposed to be taking it easy?" Jughead questions Cami who looks at him. 

"This is easy," Cami tells him confused as she walks outside to grab her cleaning supplies to begin cleaning everything as Jughead rubs his head.

"She's something," Toni states laughing before sitting down and out of the way. She did not want to risk getting yelled out by the blonde.

"Yeah she is," Jughead says smiling slightly still not used to the blonde caring about him as much as she did.

Finally, after the final day of cleaning the trailer and then cooking some food, Jughead could easily warm up for the week Cami was pulling up at her house just as Polly was walking out with a suitcase. 

With a sigh, the middle Cooper daughter parked her car before getting out making Polly look towards her.

"I guess your leaving," Cami says making Polly nod as she rubs her pregnant belly.

"I'm not going to tell you not to. I'm just going to say...," Cami says taking a deep breath and walking closer to Polly.

"Be careful. And make sure you tell my little niece and nephew how much I love them and their mom," Cami tells Polly who smiles nodding her head before wrapping her arms around Cami tightly.

"I will. And be careful Cami please," Polly begs her sister who nods.

"You three as well," Cami tells her as she pulls back smiling slightly at Polly and waving at her as she gets in the cab leaving.

Wiping her tears Cami walks towards her house entering to see Betty standing their tears in her eyes. Cami and Betty look at each other before the two hug each other tightly sniffling slightly.

Cami stood in her bedroom beginning to get ready for her first day back to school when her phone beeps a text message sent to her.

Grabbing her phone Cami sees a link making her tap on it as a video of Archie with a bunch of shirtless Gus in red hoods in Archie's garage.

"This is a message for the coward calling himself the Black Hood. You think you can attack us from the shadows. But Riverdale is a lot stronger than you. And we're not afraid. See, there's only one of you. But we are legion. We're called the Red Circle. And we're coming for you. We will find you. We will hunt you. And we will end you," Archie says staring at the camera.
