Cami sighed as she laid in her bed reading a book off her bookshelf. It was the next day and the blonde still hadn't left her room and was cut off from the outside world due to her Mom.

With a groan, Cami shakes her head looking back at her book before spotting something on her desk. With a bright smile, the middle Cooper jumps up and heads towards her desk sitting down with a bright smile as she opens up her MacBook.

But the smile immediately disappears once she notices all the text messages that have been sent to her since yesterday.

Cami just stares at the text messages before heading towards her closet grabbing a pair of shoes and then opening her window.

Reaching out the blonde grabs the tree branch before jumping out the window and climbing down the tree.

Landing on the ground Cami sighs as she turns and goes to walk but pauses when she sees someone standing in front of her.

"Here. Seems you might need them," Fred tells Cami throwing her his keys making Cami smile as she catches them.

"Just don't crash," Fred tells Cami who walks towards him and kisses his cheek.

"Got it. Thank you!" Cami tells him before she runs towards his truck as Fred shakes her his at the blonde but for some reason, he wasn't surprised or worried. This was just normal Cami behavior.

Fred couldn't even count with both of his hands how many times he'd caught the blonde sneaking out of her bedroom window.

Fred was already worried that the branch would someday break and Cami would somehow break her neck. That's why he always cut the branches and made sure the tree was strong and sturdy just to keep his own piece of mind.

Arriving at the Pembrooke Cami threw the truck in park before jumping out and running towards the entrance.

Ignoring the new butler Cami headed towards the elevator and pressed the button for the penthouse. Once she got she headed towards the door not even knocking Cami opened the door.

"Camilla?" Hermione questions seeing the blonde but she ignores her as well as Hiram and Penelope Blossom heading straight towards Veronica's bedroom door.

Opening the bedroom door Cami sees Veronica who sighs in relief seeing the blonde wrapping her arms around Cami tightly.

Cami hugs her back as she looks around the room before spotting Cheryl standing on the other side of the door.

Cami realizes Veronica and turns towards Cheryl.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't here. My Mom grounded me and took my phone. But the second I found out I snuck and got here as fast as I could," Cami tells Cheryl looking into her eyes as Cheryl holds herself slightly nodding her head.

"What do you need?" Cami questions Cheryl who looks up at her.

"Do you need me to go out there and scream at your mother? Say it and I will. Do you need me to find that sorry excuse of a boy and remove his dick? I have some connections. Do you want a hug or someone to tell you it's not your fault? Because I have two arms and I'll tell you every second of the day till you believe it," Cami tells Cheryl who stares at her as tears roll down her cheeks.

The redhead walks closer to Cami and throws her arms around her crying slightly.

"Can I hug you back?" Cami asks her softly as Cheryl nods immediately making Cami wrap her arms around Cheryl tightly holding her towards her.

"It wasn't your fault. It wasn't your fault Cheryl," Cami tells her repeatedly as Cheryl holds onto Cami as if she were her lifeline. While Cami just rubs her back humming slightly into her ear as her other hand cradles her head.  

Veronica watches the two closely noticing how Cheryl's tense body begins to relax for the first time since the assault.

It was some type of power Camilla Cooper had being able to just comfort anyone and make them feel safe. Safe even when they felt unsafe.

Once Cheryl's body completely relaxes and stops breathing laborly Cami pulls back from Cheryl and cups her cheeks wiping her tears from her cheeks and smiling softly at her.

"Here take Freddy's keys and you and Vee head downstairs and wait for me. We'll go get some breakfast," Cami tells Cheryl giving her a reassuring smile.

Cheryl nods slightly as Cami hands her the keys and turns to Veronica smiling softly at her while nodding her head.

The three walk out of the bedroom and Cami smiles at the two girls with a soft smile on her lips until the two are out of the door and then she turns around with a deadly look on her face.

"Where did Cheryl and Veronica go?" Hermione questions the blonde who walks towards Penelope Blossom staring her down.

"Let's get a few things straighten up. I thought it was best Cheryl didn't hear anyone of whatever stupid sexist and hateful comment that came out your mouth," Cami tells Penelope who looks at her with a glare.

"You do not get to speak to me-," Penelope begins to say as Cami places her hand over her lips.

"Shush. You speak when I tell you, you can speak. Otherwise, keep your mouth shut or I will," Cami tells her raising an eyebrow as if to dare her to speak another word.

"Good," Cami tells her with a cold smile when Penelope just glares at her.

"Now listen to me very closely. If Cheryl wants to press charges. She will be. If you try for even a moment to talk her out of it or blackmail her the Blackhood will be nothing compared to what I will do to you," Cami tells Penelope as she walks closer to her squatting down to look her right in the eyes as she smirks at her a little unhinged.

"Maybe I'll hang you like your husband. Or do it quickly with a gunshot to the forehead like your son. Maybe Maybe I'll even finish what they fire started," Cami tells her with a shrug as Penelope just stares at her.

"I'll become your worst nightmare so don't you dare try me, Penelope," Cami whispers to her as a smile spreads across her lips. Seeing the fear in her eyes Cami nods realizing her message got across and stands back to her full height.

"I'm so glad we understand each other," Cami tells her nodding her head as she turns around seeing how Hermione is staring at her in disbelief and Hiram with a slight interest in them.

"So sorry for barging into your home Mrs and Mr Lodge. I hope you both have a nice day," Cami says smiling at him before heading towards the door and leaving the penthouse. 

Arriving downstairs Cami nodded at the butler as he opened the door for her before heading towards the truck seeing Cheryl and Veronica already inside waiting for her.

Opening the driver's side door Cami gets inside and smiles at the two.

"Let's go. I'm craving some chocolate chip pancakes," Cami tells the two as she puts the truck in drive and begins driving.

The three girls walk into Pop's hearing the bell ring.
"Morning girls," Pop greets the three making Cami smile at him as she heads towards him kissing his cheek.

"Morning Pop," Cami tells him as he smiles softly.
"You three go have a seat. I'll bring the two strawberries and one chocolate milkshake," Pop tells the three making Cami smile nodding her head as the three head towards a booth passing Toni and Jughead.

"Morning you two," Cami greets the two as she walks closer to Jughead grabbing his face and turning it noticing the bruises and cuts.

"I'm going to kill them. They said they would hold their punches," Cami says shaking her head angrily as she stares at Jughead who chuckles at her.

"Sorry for not answering you. I'm grounded so my Mom took my phone along with my serpent jacket that she found. Let's just say Momma Cooper is not happy," Cami says huffing as Jughead winces.

"Sorry Cam," Jughead tells her as she smiles at him shaking her head.

"It's fine. Call me if you need anything. I love you, Jug," Cami says kissing the top of his head as she smooths down his hair.

Jughead stares at her for a moment before wrapping his arms tightly around Cami who chuckles at him since he is still sitting in the booth but hugs him back.

"You okay there Jug?" Cami questions the boy whose head was pressed into her stomach making her look towards Toni who shrugs but smiles.

Jughead just holds Cami tighter. He wasn't used to those three words. Those three little words were nothing to most people but not to him.

When Cami didn't answer her phone Jughead thought he lost her. He thought she left him just like his Mom, his sister, his dad, and even Betty eventually did.

And yes all those people leaving him hurt but the idea of Cami being added to that list for some reason hurt even more.

Since she met him Cami had been a constant in his life. A safe place. A protector. Even when they were just kids she protected him against anyone who ever tried to bully him. They meet due to Cami protecting him.

"Juggie? Jughead?" Cami questions softly as she runs her fingers through his hair making Jughead pull back and smile at her.

"I will. And I love you too Cam," Jughead tells the blonde who smiles down at him.

"Bye Tones," Cami tells the girl with a wink making her laugh as Cami walks over to Cheryl and Veronica who were sitting down.

"Sorry," Cami tells the two making Veronica wave her off just as Pop brings the three their milkshakes.

"The usual for you three?" Pop asks the girls already knowing what they ordered if they came for breakfast lunch and sometimes dinner.

Cami looks at Cheryl and Veronica before she nods at Pop.

"That would be great Pop thank you," Cami tells the older man who smiles at her before heading back to behind the counter. Usually, he only cooked and didn't wait on tables, but he always waited on Cami's.

"So what happened after you sent us away?" Veronica asks Cami before she begins drinking her milkshake.

"Just had a nice conversation with Ms.Blossom," Cami tells the two shrugging before taking a sip of her milkshake.

"You had a nice conversation with my mother?" Cheryl asks doubtfully making Cami smile at her.

"Let's just say my dear amazing cousin you can choose whatever you want to do regarding who should be deballed and then choke his tiny mini balls," Cami tells the redhead smiling at her and making Cheryl stare at Cami before smiling back at her.

"So what are you doing for your b-day Cam?" Cheryl asks Cami who groans shaking her as Veronica gasps.

"Your birthday is coming up! Why didn't you say anything? When is it?! Ooh, I have so much to plan!" Veronica exclaims making Cami shake her head at her.

"Nope. Absolutely not Veronica. Forget Cheryl said anything," Cami tells Veronica sending Cheryl a pointed look who sips her milkshake with a slight shrug.

"What? Why?" Veronica questions Cami who sighs at her.

"I don't celebrate my birthday. I haven't since I was eleven years old and I won't ever again," Cami tells her shrugging before getting up.

"I have to pee," Cami says walking away as Cheryl goes after her having to pee herself Veronica stares after the blonde before spotting Jughead and getting up and marching over to him.

"Cami's birthday is coming up," Veronica exclaims sitting down in the booth making Toni stare at her confused before staring at Jughead.

"Wait what Jones?" Toni questions him as Jughead swallows his food staring at the two angry girls.

"Cami doesn't celebrate her birthday. She used to. Cami Cooper's birthday used to be the biggest celebration in Riverdale. To be invited was a privilege but one year she just stopped. The party. The invitations. She made it everyone's favorite day before one year she just decided not to anyone," Jughead tells the two girls who stare at him in disbelief.

"The most she does is come to Pop's to get a birthday free milkshake and then blow out a candle on a cupcake Fred and Mary got for her because that made sure she makes a wish and that's it," Jughead explains to the two girls with a shrug.

"So she just stopped celebrating? Why?" Veronica questions confused as Pop walks by with the girl's plate of food.

"Because Alice and Hal forgot," Pop tells the three making them turn to the man.

"What? How?" Toni questions confused as Pop places the plates on the table.

"Cami was ten it was a week before her birthday and went on a trip with the Andrews for her birthday. They arrived back on the day of her birthday due to Cami wanting to spend it with her family.

The blonde ran inside to greet her family and her parents weren't home. Polly and Betty told her happy birthday and had some cupcakes for her but Cami was waiting for her parents to return. She waited all day for them to return. When they did Cami smiled at them as the two just walked past her like it was a normal day. The two forgot. So no presents or birthday cake or party. They forgot and Cami didn't remind them. Then they continued to forget every year but remembered Betty's and Polly's. And since then Cami hated her birthday. Has not celebrated since," Pop explains to the three who stare at him all with a look of disbelief and sadness for the blonde. 

"That's so sad," Veronica whispers feeling terrible for Cami. The blonde who always made sure everyone had the perfect party didn't even have one of her own because her parents forgot. And continued to forget.

"We have to throw her party. We have to! Everyone else pushes it aside but this is the big one-eight," Veronica states as Toni nods.

"I'll see if we can use the Wyrm. I can have the serpents help decorate they adore Cami. Especially Hog Eye," Toni tells Veronica who nods.

"I'll get the cake and pay for all the decorations if you need me to. Whatever you need," Veronica tells Toni before the two look at Jughead.

"Uhm...I'll get her there?" Jughead questions as the two roll their eyes at him.

"Jughead will give you my number and we will talk about everything. We need to plan everything fast," Veronica tells Toni who nods just as Cami and Cheryl walk out of the bathroom.

"Nice talking to you and finally meeting you Toni," Veronica says smiling as she heads toward Toni smiling at Cami. She would make sure that this year she had the best birthday ever. She deserved it after everything. She deserved her day.

As the three were eating Veronica's phone began to ring and then Pop's phone answers it at the same time Veronica answers hers.

"Mom?" Veronica questions confused.
"Cami...it's your Mom," Pop says as Cami looks wide-eyed before groaning laying her head on the table.

Cami sat on the couch in her living room beside Josie and Veronica who sat beside Archie. Kevin sitting on the arm of the chair beside Josie Betty sits in the chair beside Archie and lastly, Reggie standing beside the fireplace beside his Mom.

Hermione and Mayor McCoy are in the chairs across from the teenagers with Hiram beside Hermione and Fred behind her while Sheriff Keller is beyond Mayor McCoy.

"Riverdale's best and brightest, huh?" Alice questions as she places a tray of tea on the coffee table. 

"Alice, thank you for hosting," Mayor McCoy tells the woman.

"Of course, Mayor McCoy. When I heard what happened, I decided we should come together to deal with this motley crew of liars, dope fiends, and fornicators. Except for Betty, who was smart enough to leave before it was a bacchanalian free-for-all," Alice says making Cami sigh as she leans back into the couch.

"Oh, my God. Mom, please don't," Betty says not looking up from her hands she was playing for.

"Great. Here we go. Saint Betty and Succubus Veronica," Veronica whispers to Cami and Archie making Cami sigh and shake her head. 

"Just for clarity, Alice, you're hosting this to gloat?" Fred questions the woman.

"I may have taken jingle-jangle, but she had a psychotic break," Veronica continues as Cami looks towards her sister finally looking at her. She seemed exhausted. Truly exhausted in every way.

"Cut her some slack, Veronica. She broke up with Jughead," Archie tells the raven-haired girl.

"Hashtag "Bughead is no more"? Betty didn't tell me?" Kevin questions wide-eyed as he looks at Cami who shrugs.

"Ahem," Alice says clearing her throat and making the teenagers look towards her.

"Careful throwing stones there, acid-queen Alice. I'm not the only one that knows the story behind that mug shot your daughter printed in her paper," Hiram tells Alice who crosses her arms looking at Betty from the side of her eye.

"Yeah Mom it's kind of hypocritical to be mad at someone for doing the same thing you once did," Cami says staring at her Mom with a raised eyebrow as Alice looks at her daughter.

"Do not start now Camilla," Alice warns her making Cami scoff as she leans back as everyone looks between the two.

"Oh, what Mom can't handle being called out?" Cami questions her as Alice just glares at her.

"What are those two fighting about this time?" Kevin questions Josie who shrugs.

"When aren't they?" Josie questions Kevin who nods at that.

"What happened in that newspaper and now is completely different from you having a serpent jacket hidden in your closet," Alice tells Cami angrily making everyone stare at the girl wide-eyed.

"For the last time, I'm not a serpent and before to start asking no I am not sleeping with one either. I was given it for protection. What is even your problem with the serpents? You were one?" Cami asks Alice who looks like she is a second away from snapping.

"At least with the serpents I can have a drink without being drugged and almost raped," Cami says scoffing as she leans back into the couch everyone turns to her and the room goes quiet.

"Dang it," Cami says wincing as she opens her eyes seeing Fred staring straight at her.

"Explain," Fred tells her in his dad's voice making her sigh.

"It was a while ago. A party with Polly. I got away thanks to Jughead," Cami says throwing her Mom a look who just stares at her.

"And then Dad picked me up," Cami says shrugging her shoulders.

"Why didn't I know about any of this?" Alice questions her daughter who sighs.

"Wasn't a big deal. Dad made sure I knew exactly everything I did wrong," Cami says placing her necklace as Alice stares at her not saying anything.

"Let's get back on track," Hermione states as Cami nods being thankful for the woman for the first time.

"I, for one, would like to know who brought the jingle-jangle to the party," Hermione states as all the teenagers stay silent before Reggie raises his hand slightly.

"Reginald, not a single word out of your mouth until we get a lawyer," his mother Melinda tells him angrily.

"All Reggie needs to tell us, Melinda, is how he acquired it," Hiram tells the woman.

"Some gang member who deals on the Southside," Reggie tells the group.

"Oh my goodness, you have a dealer?" Melinda questions her son as Cami smirks slightly. She was enjoying how Reggie squirmed due to his Mom's look. 

"Once again, mayor, the Southside is the source of all our problems," Hiram tells the mayor as Cami scoffs.

"Is he a Serpent? Does he go to Southside High?" Fred questions the boy.

"I think so yeah," Reggie tells the older man as Cami shakes her head. Reggie would say it was a serpent no matter what. He was still mad about the fight.

"What does it matter? Not all Serpents are dealers," Archie says as Cami nods agreeing with him.

"You all just want to blame the serpents for all your problems. No wonder they hate us and it's not like there are not more gangs," Cami tells the group with her arms crossed.

"Cami. Archie, not helping," Fred tells the two with a pointed look.

"Look we shouldn't have taken the JJ, but Nick asked Reggie to get it and then pushed it on us. He should be in the hot seat. He's the one who roofied Cheryl and tried to assault her," Veronica tells the adults.

"Prosecuting him would be difficult, given that all witnesses were high," Sheriff Keller tells her making Cami sit up at that.

"Yeah, but Josie and I saw Nick with Cheryl the night after the party. Neither of us were on jingle-jangle," Veronica tells the man as she looks at Cami who is glaring at him.

"The drug stays in your system for three days. If I drug-tested you right now, you'd have a credibility problem," Sheriff Keller explains to Veronica making Cami scoff. 

"So what he's just going to get away with what he tried to do?" Cami questions the man angrily. 

"Cami it's complicated," Sheriff Keller tells her as she stands up.

"No, it's not. He drugged her. He tried to rape. He had it all planned and you are saying that you can't prosecute him. Are you serious?!" Cami exclaims more than pissed off.

"No wonder girls don't want to say anything. Nothing would ever be done. But I hope you realize one thing the next girl because there will be a next one he might actually rape her. And I hope thinking about that you won't be able to sleep at night," Cami tells the man angrily before stomping towards the stairs shaking her head.

"Cami!" Veronica calls after her as Cami ignores her handing upstairs. Sheriff Keller stares at where Cami once was as Kevin stares at his Dad sighing.
