𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙥𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙨! 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡! 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡!.

Cami Cooper hummed along to Taylor Swift as she strapped on her black heels that went with her baby blue romper.

As Cami stood up to cheek her lipstick a knock was heard on her bedroom door making her look to see Betty looking at her with a slight smoke

"Hey, Betty. What's up?" Cami questions making Betty walk in her smile now gone. She never thought she would miss the nickname her sister used to call her.

But right now she was.

"Jughead is coming over for breakfast. He's going to help me figure out where Mama and Dad put Polly," Betty tells Cami who nods as she puts in her pearl earrings.

"That's good Betty! Well when you see tell her I miss her," Cami tells Betty who nods slightly walking more into the room.

"Cam...are you okay?" Betty asks worriedly as Cami pauses for a moment.

"You know what! I think I have figured out what to do with all those treats downstairs!" Cami tells Betty with a bright smile as Betty watches her thinking downstairs to where there was a container of treats on every surface and in the fridge.

"Cami why don't we go get some milkshakes soon?" Betty questions her older sister who turns to her. Cami walks towards Betty placing her hands on her shoulders.

"Of course Betty," Cami tells her kissing her cheek before heading out of her room.

"Camilla!" Alice calls after her daughter but Cami just grabs a basket full of deserts while ignoring her mom before she heads out of the house towards her car making Alice sigh before she finishes fixing breakfast.

"Can I just say that I adore your shoes," Kevin informs Cami who laughs at him looking down at the heels she was wearing.

"I've had them forever. My Mom called them stripper heels and Archie didn't like it when I was taller than him. So I'm wearing him," Cami says shrugging making Kevin smile at her nodding in approval as he hands her the strawberry milkshake he got for her.

"I am truly loving this Cami," Kevin tells her as he looks through the basket of treats making Cami laugh at him.

"Cheryl!" Cami calls out making the redhead turn to her.

"Cami. Kevin," Cheryl greets the two with a smile as Cami smiles brightly at her.

"I wanted to give you and the Vixens these as a thank you. Even if I do not approve of what you all did I am thankful," Cami tells Cheryl handing her the basket of treats.

"I'll see you all at practice!" Cami tells her smiling brightly as she turns around on the heel of her shoes before heading towards class not noticing how people split in the hallway letting her through while she drinks her milkshake.

"I feel like a celebrity with her," Kevin says staring at Cami before following after her watching all the looks that we're sending her.

"You know there's a pool going around regarding who will win the Princess's heart next," Kevin informs Cami who raises an eyebrow at him.

"And everyone wants to know why Mister and Miss Perfect broke up. Different stories are going around. They are mostly blaming Archie," Kevin tells Archie as the two continue walking down the hallways.

But as they turn the corner Cami bumps sight into someone almost falling down when an arm catches her.

The touch made her flinch due to the familiar touch as she steps back quickly looking to see Archie standing there staring at her wide-eyed.

"Cami...," Archie says as Cami just stares at him.
"This is awkward...but I can't look away," Kevin states as he looks between the two.

"I actually wanted to talk to you. I've been texting you but..," Archie says as Cami just stares at him all the feelings she felt that night coming back full force.

The hurt.

The anger.

The disappointment.

The betrayal.

"I...I got to go," Cami says more like whispering as she tries to walk away.

"Wait Cami! Can we get some food or something? I want to talk. I want to explain," Archie asks her with a pleading face as Cami looks down at the hand on her arm.

"I..," Cami tells him as she removes her arm from his hold and then continues walking although faster this time.

Kevin glares at Archie before racing after Cami who was already in the parking lot and getting in her car.

"Cami!" Kevin calls after her but she just smiles at him softly before getting in her car and driving away.

"Ugh! Betty's going to kill me!" Kevin says nodding his head before heading back into the school.

With a huff, Cami continues trying to open her car door without dropping the three stacks of baked goods in her hands. It probably wasn't a good idea to grab so many things at once, but it was the last stack. And she didn't mean to shut the car door as well.

"I got it. I got it," a voice tells her as they pull the car door open. Cami places the containers in the back seat before turning around.

"Hey Cami-Cam," Fred greets her making Cami smile at him slightly.

"Hi Freddy," Cami says softly not having seen the man since that night in the music room. Truthfully she didn't know what to say to the man or how to act.

Fred Andrew has been a part of her life since she could remember and he saw firsthand as her world came crashing down in front of her without her being able to do anything due to his son. What was she supposed to do now?

"Cam," Fred says snapping her out of her head and making Cami look at him.

"Sorry. Lost in my own head," Cami tells him apologetically making Fred nod slightly.

"I was just saying that even if you and Archie aren't together anymore, due to his idiotic decision, doesn't mean I'm not here for you. If you ever need me I'm there," Fred tells Cami who pauses looking at him.

With a shuddering breath, Cami jumps into his arms wrapping her arms tightly around him. Cami never knew how Fred always told her exactly what she needed to hear. What her heart needed to hear.

"I know it might not feel like it now, but one day everything will be alright. You won't have to apologize for feeling something," Fred tells Cami who nods slightly her head in between his head and shoulder.

"Thank you," Cami tells him softly as she pulls back. Fred smiles at her softly squeezing her shoulder.

"We need to get some burgers and milkshakes soon," Fred tells Cami who nods at him.

"Absolutely," Cami tells him nodding her head. Fred smiles at her heading towards his house as Cami gets in her car.

Once she sits down Cami pulls down the visor making sure her makeup wasn't ruining before releasing a breath and closing the visor.

With that, she leans back and puts her seat belt on before putting her car in drive.

"Hello hello hello!" Cami greets as she walks into the White Wyrm with stacks of desserts. Hearing the voice Toni turns to see the blonde making her raise an eyebrow at her.

"If you came for a drink. FP said we are not allowed to serve you alcohol," Toni tells Cami who rolls her eyes at her playfully.

"First of all, that's rude!" Cami tells Toni as she places the treats on the bar.

"And second I came to say thank you with a bunch of treats. You guys made a terrible night, not that terrible," Cami tells Toni who stares at her before smiling.

"Are there brownies?" Toni asks making Cami scoff.
"Of course there are brownies!" Cami tells her as she gives Toni the container of brownies.

Toni smiles as she begins eating them Cami looks down at the bar wiping everything off of it while Toni watches her closely.

"What's wrong?" Toni asks Cami who snaps her head up to her.

"Mhm?" Cami questions as Toni stares at her closely.
"You're quiet. You're never quiet. I just meet you and I already know that," Toni tells Cami who rolls her eyes at her playfully.

"Has this bar ever been cleaned?" Cami asks Toni who stares at her confused.

"Probably not," Toni tells Cami who nods looking around disgusted.

But what makes Toni even more confused is when she gets up and walks out of the Wyrm only to return there seconds later with a big bag before laying it on the bar.

"What?" Toni questions as Cami pulls her hair into a high ponytail before unzipping the bag. Toni looks only to see gloves and multiple different cleaning items.

"Did you have all of this in your car?" Toni asks Cami who looks at her confused.

"You don't?" Cami asks her equally confused as Toni just stares at her.

"You are a strange person," Toni tells Cami who puts gloves on.

"Maybe...," Cami tells her as she turns around eyeing the bar before she begins cleaning everything while Toni sits at the bar eating brownies with a mixture of confusion and amusement on her face.

"What is that smell?" Sweet Pea questions as he walks into the Wyrm with Fangs.

"Wipe your feet!" A voice demands them making the two boys freeze looking wide-eyed before looking to see the older serpents around eating dessert while drinking.

"Mustang?" Sweet Pea questions seeing the man smiling as he eats some type of dessert.  

"He smiles?" Fangs questions Sweet Pea who shrugs as the two look around at the bar never seeing it so clean.

"Ooh, those are the colors of the walls!" Fangs point out as Sweet Pea looks confused.

"Ooh hey, boys!" A voice says smiling brightly making them look to see Cami standing there her hair in a messy ponytail and dirt on her face but a bright smile on her face.

"Cami?" The boys question walking towards but wiping their feet off first after seeing the glare Mustang send them.

"I brought treats as a thank you. You didn't have to keep my mind off of everything and entertain. You Serpents might just be better than those Northsiders," Cami tells them amused as she walks towards Toni who hands her a cherry coke.

"Cami brought deserts. She's also been cleaning and demanding people wipe off their shoes. The first was Mustang who she screamed at when he got a place she cleaned dirty. He yelled back and then Cami pointed to the desserts and now he's in charge of making sure everyone wipes their feet," Toni explains to the two boys who look at her confused before looking at Cami.

"She yelled at Mustang and is still alive?" Fangs questions making Toni nod amused at the two boys surprised.

"Ooh, I kept these for you two. Their Oreo brownies," Cami tells them handing them the container. Sweet Pea and Fangs look at her and then at the container.

Toni pulls Cami back just in time as the two dive for them fighting over the container.

"Should I tell them there's another one?" Cami asks Toni who shakes her head.

"Absolutely not," Toni tells her amused before leading Cami to sit down.

"Now that you've cleaned the bar, and made the Serpents fall in love with it due to your baking skills, now can you tell me what's going on?" Toni questions Cami who takes a sip of her cherry coke.

"Cami?" Toni questions her making Cami sigh.
"He wants to talk. Explain his side of things," Cami tells Toni who stares at her.

"Are you considering this?" Toni asks Cami who pauses making Toni raise her hand and slap the back of her head.

"Ouch!" Cami yells at her rubbing her head as Toni stares at her.

"The only explanation he has is that he is an idiot and doesn't deserve you. And the only words that need to come out of his mouth are he is sorry. Has he even apologized yet?" Toni questions Cami who pauses at that.

"Exactly. Sounds to me like he just wants to get laid or save his ass. Probably both," Toni tells her making Cami groan at her words.

"And everyone keeps asking if I'm okay. I'm fine obviously!" Cami tells Toni who looks at and then the desserts and lastly spotless bar Cami has been cleaning for the last two maybe three hours.

"Yeah obviously," Toni tells Cami who hits her arm with a pointed look.

"I am. Things happen you move on. Stressing over them won't change anything," Cami tells Toni who nods at her just as someone walks in again.

"What the hell is going on in here?!" A familiar voice exclaims making everyone turn to see FP looking around the room.

"Camilla Cooper," FP states seeing the blonde who smiles sheepishly holding up the cherry coke she was drinking.

"It's not alcohol!" Cami defends herself as FP stares at her before heading up towards the stairs.

"FP! Wipe your feet," Mustang tells him making FP confused as everyone around the bar nods. With a glare, FP wipes his feet off before heading upstairs.

Cami watches him go before heading towards the bar grabbing a cake container along with an item out of her bag.

"I'll be right back!" Cami tells Toni who nods at her slightly watching as Cami runs up the stairs.

"Shouldn't someone tell her that isn't allowed?" Sweet Pea asks Toni eating an Oreo brownie.

"You think that'll stop her?" Fangs questions rubbing his head where Sweet Pea hit him.

"It'll be fine," Toni tells them as the two boys nod slightly.

Upstairs Cami knocks on the door that she spotted FP walking into and before she could step back it is thrown open. FP's glare lessens once he spots Cami and not someone else. 

"Sorry. Just wanted to give you this. It's been washed and thank you for letting me borrow it," Cami tells him handing FP back his flannel who nods at it.

"And here I made sure to hide this. You made pancakes I made a double chocolate fudge cake," Cami tells him handing him the cake container.

With a nod, she turns around to begin walking back down the stairs.

"What did you mean? When you said it was a Jones thing?" FP questions Cami who freezes at that before sighing and turning around.

"I went to a party with my older sister. We got separated and someone put something in my drink. I tried to push the guy off but I was too weak...," Cami says sighing as she twists the gold ring on her middle finger.

"...suddenly the guy was pulled away from me and punched. I was in someone's arms who carried me out," Cami tells FP shrugging slightly.

"It was Jughead. He sat with me till my Dad could pick me up. Only to get told it was my fault. I needed to be careful. Didn't want to hear that speech again after an already terrible night," Cami tells FP with a soft smile on her face shrugging her shoulders ever so slightly.

"Maybe that's why I'm so thankful to the Serpents. Not many Northsiders would help the drunk girl," Cami tells FP who stares at her.

"It wasn't your fault. The right thing to do is to make sure the girl is safe. Nothing else," FP tells Cami who nods.

"Right," Cami tells him nodding her head before heading back downstairs just as her phone starts going off.

Reading it Cami rushes down the stairs and toward the table Toni Fangs and Sweet Pea were at.

"I got to go! Family emergency!" Cami says grabbing her bag.

"Don't make too many messes!" Cami yells waving before running out of the bar.

"You know...she scares me," Fangs states staring at the blonde.

"True," Sweet Pea agrees as Toni laughs at them shaking her head.

"Betty!" Cami yells rushing up the stairs towards her sister's bedroom. Opening the door Cami sees Betty sitting at her bed holding a picture of the three Cooper siblings.

Betty looks up to see Cami who pushes off her bed into Cami's arms. Cami catches her quickly as she wraps her arms around her.

"Shush Betts. Calm down. Tell me what's going on," Cami tells Betty softly as she runs her fingers through Betty's hair which was now down.

"Polly's pregnant," Betty tells Cami who freezes at that in disbelief.

"It's Jason's! And she didn't even know he was dead," Betty tells Cami who hugs her tightly to her.

"Okay Betty you have to calm down," Cami tells her softly rubbing her back. Betty takes a few deep breaths as Cami continues rubbing her back.

"Okay. Now tell me everything don't let out a single thing," Cami tells Betty who nods as she begins to tell Cami everything. From Jason's funeral where Nana Rose told her about the engagement. To Sister of Quiet Mercy where Polly was staying. Polly planning to run away with Jason due to pregnancy.

And Cami listens to it all holding Betty's hand in the process rubbing smoothing circles in the process.

Later that night Alice walked into her daughter's room to find them asleep beside each other. Cami holding Berry protectively to her who holds her sister in a tight grip scared to let her go.

Scared to lose her.

The next morning Cami lays in Betty's bed texting in her group chat with Veronica and Kevin. The two demanding Cami's presence at the Variety Show.

The two explain in detail how her presence is mandatory and if not there is the biggest form of betrayal.

Cami's head snaps up when she hears a tap on her window. Betty and Cami look to see Jughead on a ladder at Betty's window.

"Well, that's creepy...I'm going to go," Cami says shrugging as she gets up. Betty laughs at her as Cami winks heading to her room to begin getting ready.

First things first a shower and then thirty minutes trying to pick out her outfit. Which will probably end in six outfit changes and then rushing at the end to finish getting ready. Like it happened more times than she could count.

Cami Cooper walked into her high school dressed in a black dress with white flowers on it. Her blonde hair curled with a grey cardigan over her dress with a pair of black wedges.

"Cami-Cam," Fred's voice is heard making her turn to see him with Hermione Lodge.

"Freddy," Cami says hugging the man who smiles at her.

"You look beautiful. Are you here by yourself?" Fred questions her as Cami smiles at him.

"Kevin is holding my seat," Cami tells Fred who nods as Cami turns her attention to Hermione.

"Mrs.Lodge it's nice to meet you. I'm Camilla Cooper," Cami introduces herself to the woman who smiles at her.

"Hermione please and Veronica has told me so much about you," Hermione says as Kevin's voice was heard

"Hello, Riverdale High, and welcome to the 75th annual Variety Show!" Kevin says making everyone cheer and applaud.

"I better go. Kev will kill me if I miss anything," Cami says smiling at the two before walking into the theater to the seat Kevin had reserved for her in the front row.

Sitting down Cami removes her sweater spotting Kevin who smiles at her making Cami wink at him just as Josie and The Pussycats walk on the stage.

Cami screams as she sees the girls already knowing the song I Feel Love.

Cami makes eye contact with Veronica who winks making Cami wink back smiling brightly as she watches the girl with a bright smile on her face.

Once they were finished everyone stands up applauding the girls as Cami watches Josie worriedly wondering what was wrong.

"That was Josie and the Pussycats! Long tails and ears for hats," Kevin says making Cami laugh at him as she claps her hands tightly. Kevin makes eye contact with Cami who smiles at him as he announces the next person.

"Here's Archie Andrews!" Kevin exclaims as everyone applauds. Cami claps slightly as a hand begins holding hers. Looking to her right Cami spots Veronica who winks at her making her smile.

"Stick to football!" Reggie screams into the crowd making the football players laugh as Cami rolls her eyes.

Cami watches as Archie looks around before spotting someone and then begins playing his guitar.

Cami squeezes Veronica's hand as she hears Archie play. Veronica smiles at her slightly as Cami smiles back taking a slight deep breath.

Once he finishes everyone begins cheering for the boy but Cami stays sitting down with Veronica right beside her.

The two girls leave the theater as soon as they could. Cami waited for Veronica to change before heading to greet Kevin.

And as they went to find the director one thing Cami wasn't expecting to see was her ex already kissing someone else.

"Cee," Veronica says sadly as Cami shakes her head.
"I'm fine," Cami says nodding her head as she blinks back the tears.

"Kev!" Cami cheers seeing the boy who turns towards her smiling brightly.

"You did amazing!" Cami tells Kevin hugging him tightly as Kevin laughs rocking the two side to side.

"Thank you! It would have been better if you were up there," Kevin tells Cami who laughs at him.

"No thanks," Cami tells him chuckling as she smiles slightly at him before her phone begins to ring.

"Let me get this right quick and then we can go get some milkshakes from Pop's. My treat!" Cami tells Kevin who nods his head.

"Deal," Kevin tells her as Cami looks to see Betty calling her.

"Hey Betts where-?" Cami begins to question her sister but was interrupted.

"Wait wait wait! Slow down Betty I can't hear you. Polly what?" Cami questions her before all color drains from her face.

And with that Camilla Cooper's life just kept going downhill. At full speed.
